seriously, Mumbai is having some crazy heat wave. Usually it is just me who cribs about the temperature, but this past week everyone has been feeling the heat! It was so hot today, i actually stopped my workout midway today and lay down under the fan on the floor. I couldn&#39;t go on.

FINALLY!! finally the scale has moved downward. It is just 300 gms, but what matters is that it has!! At least it works as a motivator for me to keep going.

Still going good on the 30 day shred. Missed two days on the weekend when I was at my moms place, but 3 more days and I will be on level 2. So far had sore muscles for first 3-4 days, but now actually feeling good after the workout. Have been feeling really lazy to update.
Spent a few days again with just the brat and myself, while in-laws and husband were out of town. Must say am very proud of myself, because I managed work, the house and the brat pretty well, without having a serious nervous meltdown. I have been good and bad this week. Bad first; I have not exercised even a little bit. :(

1. Water drinking is going great.
2. Controlling my sweet intake. I cheated only once on my birthday, since there was a cake at home and one at work, ate cake twice, but I guess on my birthday it is allowed. ;)

I was supposed to update last week, but was travelling for work and then the 3 day weekend made lazy. Plus it is very difficult to even start the laptop at home and do anything, since the minute the computer boots, my toddler is next to me, wanting to &#39;help&#39; me, pressing keys, touching the screen and what not. It usually ends up with her crying or watching a cartoon on the laptop.

I did it you guys. I ran/walked the 6k Dream run at Standard Chartered Marathon! Yay!



Like I had mentioned earlier, I was in two minds the entire time. Hubs had already made up his mind about running/ walking no matter what and was egging me on to accompany him. Past
two weeks have been awfully busy, but totally awesome. They were spent meeting with old
friends, entertaining guests, the hubs coming back and most important of all
spending a lot of time with my daughter. 

21st
we had a college reunion and on the 28th a school re-union and
meeting with my class mates and teachers after 16 years was such a fabulous
experience. 

Though

Specially because I have a very packed weekend coming up. We had our office christmas party and a secret santa gift exchange..super fun!. Tomorrow is my little munchkin&#39;s sports day and on Sunday I am meeting up with my college friends. A re-union of sorts and I cannot wait!!

Food and exercise is going ok. Weekend is going to be indulgent and I am ok with it.

Sometime during the time when I went MIA from here, I had this sudden enthu streak and I ended up signing for the Mumbai Marathon Dream run. This enthu streak was totally the husbands doing and quiet a bit of inspiration from Sugar. The husband not only egged me on to sign up, but he signed up along with me too!!. I am sooooo glad that last week is behind me. Must have been the worst ever week I have had in a long long time. Nothing seemed to be in my favour..:(. Just to give you an idea of the things that went wrong in descending order of the anguish and tears it cost me

I am back in the exercise groove and have been doing the 30DS for a week now and boy does it feel good! The adrenaline rush does make me feel good all day. Till date, the biggest obstacle for me was not the exercise itself but waking up in the morning. But for the past few months the exercise itself had become an obstacle.

Monsoon is here and how! It has been raining incessantly for the last few days and temperatures have dropped quite a bit. Though I am not really a monsoon person { yes, there I said it!} I am definitely enjoying the cooler weather and drop in humidity. I am actually craving something hot and fried  these days.
