Authors of Working Out, Working Within Jerry Lynch and Chungliang Al Huang remind us: when we are born, we are all "in tune" with or our natural "way," the way of the Tao. Here we have complete joy and unlimited potential. They continue by noting, society often takes this feeling of freedom away from us as we grow, therefore, it is our work to reclaim our fully-realized life.

With this said, the more I study energetic healing and the ways of eastern philosophy, the more I realize that we are all beings of the divine. It is often our mind that keeps us in the physical world and short of the realization that the true blessings lie beneath the veil.

How to get to this place of divinity and live the life of the fully-realized? First, in any and all situations, we must make divinely-driven choices. We do this by continually asking ourselves: are we acting out of faith? Or are we acting out of fear? At a gut level, we can always know the answer. If we listen to the lessons that eastern Taoists teach us: we know that all of life has it's own nature. Therefore, when we listen to ourselves we can "feel" our ebb and flow within it. For it is when we listen to the ways of nature and follow it's path that we can follow our "way" to our own true calling.

According to Caroline Myss in her book Anatomy Of The Spirit, however, there are three caveats along the road to healing and living in faith. It is through these three challenges that the journey to your truest self begins.

1. "Misdirecting the power of one's spirit will generate consequences to one's body and life."

Energy is power. And according to Myss, in effort to live our lives authentically, we must learn to tune in to the voice of the spirit to receive direction for our lives. Misdirection comes then, when we impose our will on the divine for our own "selfish" advancement. This is opposed to our divine call of becoming a vessel of the will of the divine. When we ask ourselves, "am I acting out of fear?" and the answer is "yes" we proceed by first looking for the message and the golden moment that it holds for us. This can happen by discovering where we are blocked - in other words, how far away we are from answering "Yes" to faith.

2. "Every human being will encounter a series of challenges that tests his allegiance to heaven."

It is not uncommon to say "yes" to fear. For often it is part of the process to find ourselves in the darkness. In effort to truly find our center, we are called to hold on to the thread of the divine in all that we do and experience. This often calls us to see ourselves in a way that we do not wish in effort to evolve into who we may become. It is always our highest choice to choose to be who we are inside... even if it means following the call through what feels much like Dante's blazing Inferno.

According to Myss, it is in the darkness we must always say yes to faith even though fear allows us to cling to safety nets and life rafts. As easterners remind us, "releasing ones spirit into the physical world through fear or negativity is a faithless act of choosing personal view over the heavens." Yet, when we know intuitively what "faith" feels like - we can evolve by holding to this thread as we travel though the darkness. When it comes down to it, as Myss reminds us, this is the only real security we have.

3. "To heal from the misdirection of spirit we need to be willing to release the past, cleanse the spirit and return to the present moment. To do this we must let go of fear, anger and attachments."

Eastern tradition reminds us that all action creates "karma" or a reaction by the universe to our choices. To acquire the best possible outcome of our choices we must learn to let go of the fear, the anger and attachments. We do this through forgiveness. In the words of Myss, therefore, we need to unplug any of our circuits from their negative power sources, thus releasing their hold on us. This means all past wounds, hurts and disappointments. To do this we must make our best effort to live in real time and look ahead to the future. To activate this process, one of my favorite resources are the exercises found in the book Language Of The Soul by John Payne. (To learn more about the Language Of The Soul Click Here).

We can also call on Taoist wisdom to help us let go of these negative power sources. According to authors Lynch and Huang, we must, according to ancient wisdom "Embrace the Tiger." According to ancients the tiger embodies the "multidimensional power of blinding beauty, ruthless strength, godlike passion as well as the gentle and loving quality of the lamb." When we embrace the Tiger, they remind us, this shift transforms the "fierce and frightful" into innocence and light. In the quest of finding our true selves then, when we look directly into the face of fear, faith prevails.

Affirmation:
Today I live in each moment
I understand this moment is all I have
yesterday is behind me and tomorrow is
mine to create. I walk this path with faith.
I will not be afraid. This life is mine to live
it is my way of giving service
to live my truth
in the light of the divine.

Therefore, It is not my intention to compartmentalize them or relinquish their power by moving through them one by one - yet I do feel it enhances our understanding of the way they work (yours and mine) by understanding their individual power.

In discussing the 4th chakra then, it is important to look at the ways we can have peace with ourselves. Moreover in this article we will discuss the way you can use forgiveness to improve your energy and help to line up your energy centers on the whole by using this three-pronged process.

Step One: Let go of the past -

I've said this many times but the most important process we can undertake for our health and well being is to make a conscious effort not to leave negative energy embedded in the past. In effort to move into present time, and be at one with our own body, it becomes essential to let go of all the hurts and struggles that have led us to this moment. There is only one road to this state of oneness, however: The act of letting go.

As it turns out, I'm to the only one who stands by the belief system of releasing the past in effort to improve the health of our minds, as well as our body and spirit. Caroline Myss in her healing lecture series: Why People Don't Heal makes the claim that forgiveness is the #1 way to move forward in health. And she can back it up. She has used the healing process of letting go to transform people from near death to glowing health. With this in mind then and to begin to raise your energy up into the higher levels, ask yourself: Is there anyone or anything from my past which prevents me from moving forward? Said differently: is there something in you past that's holding you back?

Step Two: Learn To Forgive Others, The Process -

This brings us to the next step in our progress or releasing the past: learning to forgive others. Keep in mind, most often others say and do things as a result of how they are feeling about themselves. In most cases, whether they are aware of it or not, unhealthy individuals inflict their wounds upon us to salve their own pain. This can no longer affect us if we make a full effort to do as Don Miguel Ruiz says in his book The Four Agreements, and "not take things personally." When we do take things personally, we really could gather up a lifetime of emotional baggage.

As it pertains to body image and self-esteem, however, is there anyone you need to forgive? Has someone knowingly or unknowingly inflicted a negative body view or self-esteem issue onto you? Here's my personal example: When I was in high school, I had friend who was popular, pretty and blond (I'm brunette). As both an introvert and troubled youth, I took everything most personally. Imagine my emotional baggage when any time I would so much as mention my interest in a particular boy, she'd make sure she would go out of her way to get his interest.

Needless to say our friendship wasn't long term. And later I learned she was living in an unstable home. Yet, when I was younger, her actions just plain hurt my feelings and gave me a negative self image. Now I realize my insecurities at the time were my wounds to heal. And once I'd forgiven her and not taken her actions personally, I could move forward without holding on to past insecurity.

Step Three: Learn To Live In the Present, An Exercise -

When we can learn to let go of the past and live fully in the present, we are also growing. After all, how could we grow if we have negative energy lodged in the past? Moreover, there are many other active ways to learn to live in the present. Begin the process by taking a current inventory of your body. I like to do this by using my journal (you do have a journal don't you?)

Here's How It Works:

Take a scan of your body. First take body part by body part and make a note of what you are happy about. Ask yourself: What do I love about me? At first this may seem awkward, but I cannot stress the importance of taking time to spend time with yourself and learning to know you.

After you've noted all the positive aspects of your self make note of those parts you'd like to change. Keep in mind your boundaries - are these changes within your control? If so, make notes to yourself as to how you may go about making a change for the better. If changes are out of your control- take time every day to consciously send love to those parts of your body. When ever possible, Tell your mind that you accept your body and your self for who you are right now.

When you've finished, take a look at your list. What can you do right now that would make you love a part of yourself? Consider this your permission slip: Today take time to do something good for yourself. Better yet, walk to the phone right now ad make an appointment to do something for you self. My favorite self love activities? Here's an couple suggestions: manicure/pedicure or massage.

Today take time to focus on all of your positive qualities. Make an effort to forgive the past and move into the present moment. Prepare to grow!

In the last few articles we've taken a look at the way we can balance the first and the second chakra, respectively. Moving up the energetic ladder to balance the the third chakra, it becomes a lesson in learning about our own ego, and creating a healthy sense of honoring oneself.

As an extension of the second chakra, getting to know ourselves in the third chakra sense is also about nurturing our gifts. Taken one step further, however, it becomes more about doing this through the energy of our personal strengths. To do this, we must first uncover what energies are within our third chakra. To find out, in this article we'll have a look at two steps you can use to discover your personal strength and self esteem. Finally, I'll share with you a few leading questions you can ask yourself to help solidify your answers. The goal here is to get comfortable with discovering where your energy is at all times, and if it is leaking, to recognize what is causing you to lose power.

Step One: Ask yourself how you define your own personal strengths.

Ask: What strengths do I have that are personal to me? Again, this is an extension of the work we did when discovering the second chakra. As you continue learning about your creativity and personal gifts, you can take this idea of strength one step further. Here our goal is to identify how our strength evolves into those things we manifest that give us self-esteem.

Here's an example. My writing talent was never nurtured by my early educators. Therefore, I spent a significant amount of time "hiding" my gift instead of feeling confident about it. This is where my own gift took away from my energy. Yet, by uncovering this gift and giving myself permission to trust in myself and my own voice, I eventually was able to overcome my burden and showcase my talent. In doing so, I called my energy home and created a significant and inspiring energy boost!

Ask yourself: Are there any gifts that I am hiding that could be contributing to an energy depletion instead of an energy infusion?

Step Two: Learn to be 100% honest with yourself

Can you be honest with yourself without stretching the truth? Can you be honest with others, if called upon? People may not always ask you for your opinion - yet if called, can you be honest and fair with others? These are important, yet subjective matters which pertain to the notion of our own self-esteem.

Here's why: To be strong means to be able to be honest with ourselves. It is also important to learn to accept constructive criticism while still maintaining an energetic balance. Here, ask yourself What does my self-esteem look like? The most telling yardstick of our own self-esteem is that we are able to ebb and flow with life even if it is not perfect in our eyes. We must also remain impersonal in the face of criticism.

Do you have to have approval?
This is another facet to consider with regard to your own self-esteem. Strength and positive ego are based on setting ourselves apart from the good opinion of other people. If we are constantly in search of approval this could create a serious drop in energy.

With this in mind, consider your strength in your personal relationships. Are you able to be yourself inside your relationships, do you make compromises in your relationships? Do you keep relationships for personal approval?

The third chakra asks us to consider our need for approval from others. Again, this is a slippery slope as we are all called to complete work and tasks for others in effort to receive money, to receive gratitude. Yet, the deeper question is can we remain an observer of ourselves in the name of creating an authentic life? It is important here to find the personal balance between passion work and that which we do which calls on others for support and approval. Here I like to keep the question in mind: What will it take for me to take charge of my life?

Exercises In Self-Expression and Self-Esteem

With all these ideas in mind, I'd like to leave you with some exercises in self-expression and self-esteem. Here's how I found them.

Recently, I was interviewed by a local magazine for a business profile. It is a fun, hip magazine and they asked several leading questions to help their readers get to know me. I want to share a couple with you right now as I do believe they will help you chart your course and help you build your self esteem. Mostly, they will help you get to know you.

Answer honestly:

1.) What is the greatest challenge you have ever had to overcome in your life. How did you go about doing it?

2.) What is the song that best describes your life?

3.) What have you always wanted to do that you have never done?

In the last article we talked about the root chakra and what it means to become who we are as a result of the influence of our "tribes." Here we looked at ways to become aware of the way our group thinking has developed us and created the mold of our personality.

As we grow energetically, however, and move up the chain to the second chakra our focus shifts toward becoming an individual. Here is where (among other things like sensuality and anger) our creativity is expressed. In this segment then, I'd like to focus on what it is to work toward creative manifestation. In this offering, we'll have a look at ways to balance the energies of the second chakra by unleashing your creativity in this three step process.

Step One: Understand Your Creative Energies.
There is a saying in nutritional circles most people have heard. It's a simple, almost cliche quote that states "you are what you eat." If that's the case and you were to alter this slightly to reference the way you tap your creative energies we could amend this to read "you are what you think."

The laws of manifesting and creativity are a delicate dance between positive thinking and the natural flow of our energy. Begin by asking yourself: What is the music that speaks to me? What is it that animates your thinking. Is music? Words? Or perhaps another creative endeavor that you can lose yourself in for hours, never realizing you'd gone away.

It's words that transport my soul, for example. The way they sound; the way they look on the page; the way they can change lives after being read. With this in mind, take some time to develop your ideas about where your creativity comes from. In the last article, we talked about how a thought becomes animated by the way our body feels about it. When we are in alignment, we can feel a positive energetic burst. Take note of this idea during your day - it will help you answer the question: what animates me?

Step Two: Take Time To Develop Your Creative Being.
Creativity is a very intimate and natural extension of ourselves. When we are in alignment with who we are, this is when our energy shines. It is often difficult to create this space for ourselves, however. Life can get away from us and often we can expend all of our energy on everything but developing the most important person in our lives: ourselves.

To remedy this, I've taken to using my timer to create more units of time for myself. I believe that most people can find at least 20 minutes each day to devote to developing the creative self. For me, I like to dedicate this time to my writing. I first give myself a thought, then set the timer for twenty minutes and place pen to page - allowing my creativity to unleash itself. I write without judgment then see what develops.

If you are inclined to play music, this exercise could easily work for you. In fact, it could work for any creative endeavor be it engines or even conversations. I do hope you will aim to take 20 minutes for yourself and give it a try. Give your self an idea or creative task, set your timer then go. I think you will be surprised and amazed at the way your subconscious mind will go to work for you.

Step Three: Feed Your Creativity.
If you are a writer and it is words you desire, seek to feed your creativity by reading widely and often. I like to read everything from Shakespeare to the works of health and wellness authors. Writers are creative thinkers and I like go forth by modeling myself around who it is that I would like to become. Ask yourself - who do I want to become? Aim to look for positive role models, then look for ways to be like those you wish to be. Remember you are what you think. Therefore, what you focus on you become.

Finally, learn to love and embrace the creative being inside of you. You are a unique and specific and constant work in progress; a soul of your own creation. Work today toward placing your thoughts on who you are right now and who you would like to become. Make efforts to unearth your creativity and nurture it; decide where you'd like to go. With a general direction in mind, take steps to become more of yourself. Allow for adjustments along the way. Too, look for people and places that inspire you. Learn to live as you would have yourself, under the promise of the heavens above.

In this article then, I'd like to take that discussion one step further. Therefore, here our focus will still remain on this lower energy. Only now, we'll aim to discover how we strengthen or what Caroline Myss calls "animate" our lives based on what we've learned from our tribe.

It is my wish that these steps will further uncover for you where you could be "losing power" in this energetic area, make peace with it, thus neutralizing all negativity.

Identify Your Tribe:
Your tribe can be your extended family. I could also be a religious group or your ethnicity. What it boils to is, how have you learned to relate to your world based on the Gods of your reality? With this question in mind, take time to devote your thoughts to an answer. First, learn to become aware of your "tribe." I think you will find, as you become aware of who they are to you, you will soon understand how they're shaped you, as well as your traditions.

Become Aware of How You Are Animated:
I have many friends who were raised Catholic. The elders of this group wouldn't think of missing Mass each week, regardless of circumstance. This is their tradition. Others, my father as an example, have self-imposed traditions. He, for as long as I can remember, never allowed us, his children, to write with red pen. He is a business owner and red symbolized a deficit. Today, I still think before picking up a red pen and most often just won't use one. This behavior is what we would consider a superstition.

Yet, to others these behaviors may create no such attachment. Therefore, it is up to us to decide where our energy comes from with respect to our tribal beliefs. Ask yourself: what traditional beliefs and traditions do you animate?

Use Your Animations To Help You Find Balance:
As we move forward on our journey through the energetic system, we will venture next into the 2nd chakra. This is the great creative store house. Before we can survey its contents, however, it is important to first recall any tribal beliefs (or people) that have hurt us and have a hold on our energy.

The lower chakras represent our reality. And in this life plane we must feel grounded. Ask yourself: can you recall a painful memory that you can attach to your tribe or a member of it? To work through this exercise, aim to become aware of where the sensations are in your body. Do this as you resurrect your memories. Look for places in your body where - as Myss puts it - your biography has become your biology. Stated simply, how and where is the past living in your cell tissue?

Review Of Exercises To Balance Your First Chakra:

1.) This week look for ways your tribe has animated you. Have any off these animations caused you to lose power?

2.) Go searching for these memories in your cell tissue - where are they?

3.) Once you've located a memory, can you see how it has played into your biology?

4.) If so, look for ways to un-plug the negativity and add the positive wisdom of the experience into your toolbox.

This is a wonderful process to help you make peace with your past. Use it to empower you self and create strength for your future.

In my mind, discovering the power of the energy centers does not need to be intricate science. Further, it does not involve splicing hairs or knowing any complicated mathematical formulas. The chakras, instead, are about finding joy and balance in our day to day lives.

According to Caroline Myss in The Science Of Medical Intuition audio series, it is a constant process of discovering where our energy is and calling it home. To do this, Myss continues, we must first slow down our life to low gear. With this in mind, and as you read through each of the articles that follow, continue to be aware of your energetic temperature. Ask yourself: Where is my power right now? How is my power distributed based on my choices? Then trust in your intuition to reveal the answers.

Get In Touch With Your Roots.
The first chakra then, is all about us, our family and our past. To balance this energy we are called to take the time to heal past wounds, as well as heal our own "inner child." Here are a few ideas I'd like to offer you in your quest. Most, not surprisingly, were inspired by the book Please Don't Label My Child by Dr. Scott M. Shannon, M.D. In his book, this child psychologist explains, many of the outbursts children experience are due to unstructured childhoods. Most often this childhood turmoil can translate into adulthood. Thus he suggests that children need certain criteria to maintain a positive and nurturing environment. May I suggest these are important in adulthood as well.

Create A Safe And Comfortable Environment For Yourself:

To keep the child in you feeling happy and protected you will want to create an environment that promotes this positive nature. This includes making your living environment, as well as it's inhabitants a positive one. To begin, have a look at your surroundings. Does you outer world reflect your inner world? You can use this as a tool to help guide you.

Here's an example. I have a tendency toward clutter (an understatement). Thus, when things get really bad, I have to ask myself if it's time to do some soul searching. I know myself: I tend to harbor stuff to help me feel safe. When I'm noticing a big pileup, I use this as a trigger - could it be an outward safety issue I'm having?

Next, I take time to reflect. What am I watching on television? Am I feeding myself negative information through the media (news/newspapers)? Perhaps this is overly dramatic - but surprisingly - if there is too much violence or heartache coming in to my body - my deep inner child will respond.

Learn To Laugh:

I recently read, at Cornell University, a laughter speaker was employed to help lighten up the medical students. Sure they were studying serious medical subject matter. However, they responded. They said, although they were "serious" a lot of the time, they enjoyed taking time to find the humor in life and their work was more enjoyable as a result. And so it is with us and our inner child. Funny movies, comics and being with friends can all be a remedy for life when it all becomes quite serious.

Get Enough Sleep.

Depriving our bodies of precious sleep can wreak havoc on our life. Here we must make every attempt to care for ourselves by getting the ample rest our body needs and deserves. Studies suggest that lack of sleep can mimic dangerous cognitive disorders as serious as schizophrenia. I've written much about the subject of proper rest in past articles. To learn more about sleep and how much you should be getting have a look at: Reaping The Benefits Of Sleep & Relaxation.

Get Proper Nutrition.

In his book, Dr. Shannon also reminds us that, in the same light of getting proper rest, proper nutrition is also a must in taking care of our inner children. Here we need to have ample nutrition in effort to grow and for our bodies to function at full capacity. For children as well as adults, proper nutrition is necessary for us to flourish in our environments. This includes strengthening our bodies to ward off disease. To be sure you are getting proper nutrition make sure you are structuring your diet in a proper manner. There is much information available on the subject. To begin your search do be sure to read through my diet analysis here.

Bless The Past And Aim To Move Forward.

In effort to get into real time and ward off the aging process (the underlying message of this article series), it is important to forgive. Forgiveness does not mean a passive approach to those things which have hurt us, further it is a recognition that those things are still hurting us. In effort to make them stop, we must learn to let go. If in your heart of hearts you know there is something in your past holding up your growth, may I suggest checking out "The Language Of The Soul" by author John Payne. His is a gentle process for releasing the negativity from the past and charting a healing process.

In Conclusion:

To heal your inner child, do draw, play and create as often as possible. Too, learn to live a life of constant discovery. Aim to continue your quest to learn about your soul and what it wants. Where the first chakra is concerned, our inner child is delicate and fun, angry and fragile. To keep it healthy and safe and in real time it is important to move forward in a state of wonder. Aim to be creative, it will pay dividends in your work of getting to know this part of yourself. As you progress, continue to become aware of and stay in contact with this exciting part of you.

Affirmations and Meditations.

Today I ask myself:

What about my past is holding on to me and preventing me from being fully present?

I affirm: today I choose to be in the now and here. I trust that all my experiences were part of my learning and growing process. I let go of their negative hold on me. I move forward with the knowledge that I've gained. I trust the process and love who I am today as a result of who I was.

Here's my reasoning: If, as Easterners say, the way to enlightenment is to transcend the body, and this process allows us to co-create our health, then we need a way of communicating with this other "part" of ourselves. We need a medium, if you will, between the Real and Ethereal.

Enter our seven major energy centers.

Although there is much to learn about each energy center or "chakra" and how the can be the key to our higher learning, the information is somewhat complex. In this article then, my focus is only to give you a brief overview of the chakras, in effort to increase your awareness of them. What follows includes their name, color and main function of each chakra when in it's happy balanced state.

Keep in mind as you read, the premise: Each center corresponds to our "piece" of the greater universal energy. Thus, the idea is to balance each in effort to draw or link the energy from the core of the earth, channel it through our body and link it with the energy of the All of everything.

1.) Root Chakra - This is our "root" or base. Its color is crimson and it represents grounding, connection to nature, our family, foundation and balance. When balanced it includes the positive attributes of stability, security and self esteem.

2.) Sacral Chakra - Its color is bright orange and it represents nurturing and tenderness. When in balance this chakra includes the enjoyment of giving and receiving sensual pleasure. It is balanced by listening to the body and being aware of what it is asking for.

3.) Solar Plexus - This chakra is golden yellow and it represents the seat of our personality, as well as our sense of sight. When in balance this chakra enhances our ability to find our true authentic nature, and combines our power and will to achieve our greatest potential.

4.) Heart Chakra - Its color is emerald green. It represents perceptions of love, as well as our ideal partner, the attitudes we have about our parents, siblings and children. When in balance this chakra allows us to feel the freedom of conscious choice. It responds to the sense of touch.

5.) Throat Chakra - Its color is sky blue. It represents the expressing and receiving of verbal or creative energies. In balancing this chakra this includes the receiving of abundance and grace. It is associated with acceptance of what the abundant universe offers you. Balance relies on the ability to receive unconditionally.

6.) Third Eye - Its color is indigo. This represents inner sounds and our connection to spirit. The positive aspects of balancing this chakra include a heightened sense of awareness and intuition. Balancing this energy center creates unlimited possibilities through creative visualization. It also enhances our ability to manifest from pure thought. This energy center allows us to flow and work with the universal energy.

7.) Crown - Its color is violet. This chakra represents higher consciousness and unity with the divine energy. This involves and understanding of universal truth and knowledge. It connects the earth the to the energy of the heavens. It is associated with giving a sense of spirituality and a spiritual direction.

In Conclusion:
As we stated earlier, this article aims to provide you with only a simple overview of the ways our energy can create our higher consciousness. Learning more about the chakras, in my opinion, arms us with the ability to co-create our life's experience. In working toward energetic balance, we are provided with a way to live in the real world with a higher state of consciousness. Join me in the articles that follow, to discover each chakra individually as we take a deeper look at how to tap the power of the universal energy.

As far as I know, no one has lived "forever" in one body. Yet, there are many accounts of those who have lived lives well into their hundreds; all with superb quality of life. In my adventure into the world of anti-aging then, I will - in this next series of articles - offer my best knowledge based on research into what it means to slow the process of growing old from a spiritual perspective.

To begin the journey into what it means to age, we must first have a look at those who have lived the longest. Yes, we hear of the occasional centenarian in the West, however in the far east there have been many accounts of humanity who have lived to the age of 120 and beyond. What follows is my best assessment of the mind set you will need to venture into the world of the far east, and slow your body's cellular aging process. Here's three things I think we must first understand in effort to transcend and slow the body's aging.

One: Understand There is a Divine Energy Matrix

What do I mean by the "divine" matrix? Here's an example. Today I was listening to an audio program by author Gregg Braden. In it he stated, according to researchers, there is an energy "net" of sorts that penetrates the entire universe and everything within it. The big version of this "net" would resemble any smaller piece in the net creating a hologram of it.

In my understanding, it works as such: if you took a cup of water out of the ocean it would contain the same properties as the ocean itself. Too, this net is dynamic, meaning it moves and changes with the energies (us) contained within it. The important part of this discovery is, it has been shown scientifically that the way an individual feels about themselves through their thoughts (positive or negative can change the fabric of the entire "net" and all of the future happenings within it.

And so it is with our own body's energy. The way we feel about ourselves and our attachments to our experiences can help us determine the future outcomes and experiences with our world and with those around us including our perception of our selves.

This begs the question "Is everything we see around us an illusion?" And in my understanding the answer is "Yes." Therefore, the conclusion we could draw from this notion of divine matrix is: If we are an illusion, and our world as we see it is an illusion that is created (or co-created) by us, then the package we live in is also an illusion we can co-create. To do this however, involves a deep spiritual closet cleaning - and this we will revisit in a moment.

Two: Understand Our Place In The Divine Matrix By Listening to Ourselves.

Those of the far east who have slowed the aging process understand, If we are to "transcend" the body itself and its limitations we must learn to detach from the outward experience and look within for answers. We do this by learning to tap the energy we posses within our own hologram, our own piece of the ocean. We do this through visualization and meditation.

When we learn to come from within and go within as often as possible we can find the bliss far easterners discuss. In the Tao Te Ching it says "If you want to know me, look inside your heart."

This applies to our "life's work" and life's purpose as well. This involves letting go of fear and moving toward joy. In my understanding it is just as simple and as complicated as this. Here's an example, from personal experience:

I was having lunch with friends a few days ago and the subject of "life purpose" was approached as a topic for discussion. The question was: If money was not an obstacle (say you won the lottery, for example) what would you do with your life?

Everyone agreed that they would work normal business hours - doing something they enjoyed, would take care of family...etc. Surprisingly, the answers were not extravagant. The common consensus seemed to be quite a simple task of "doing something enjoyable." And so it is. Yet, how to do this?

Three: Understand We Must Give Up All Of Our Fears To Align With Our Holographic Energy.

Far easterners understand we always get what we need when we place our energy or spirit first in our lives. They also tell us our thoughts create our reality and we must detach from negative experiences in effort to reach enlightenment. Yet what does it mean to become enlightened in the "real" world. Is it even possible? We know we could live a cloistered existence, but the notion is hardly realistic. Yet, we can be as one of my favorite authors Caronline Myss calls it, a "mystic without a monastery."

We do this by taking a page from far eastern Taoists and follow what they call "The Way." This is not about chasing dollars or selling souls to the highest bidder. This is about accepting that when we are on our holographic path - we always get what we need if we give up fear. What Taoists call "the Way" gives us this life. It does so because the experience of the way far exceeds that than any riches or earthy possessions could offer. It is about finding joy within ourselves.

To do so we must simply give up fear. How I understand it is like taking a canoe ride. We are in the canoe, we move with the current of the stream. We occasionally will need to paddle to move forward; we need to paddle to steer our boat. Yet the energies of the waters take us where they will. In my assessment it's like giving up the toys that no longer serve me. This to live a true life of service to myself and the All of everything.

In Conclusion:
Perhaps this all sounds complicated. What does becoming enlightened in the modern world have to do with not aging our bodies. In a word, "everything." Therefore, I do hope you will continue to follow me on this road to wherever it leads. Yet be forewarned, to follow the way isn't easy, it's roads are steep and travels are treacherous. Yet, I am not giving in to the difficulty and am up for the challenge. I hope you will be here with me.
