Many families have expressed interest in launching our own private school in our River’s Edge-Pecan Grove area of Richmond, TX.  The next steps are to sign up to attend our next information seminar.  Please send an email to marybeth@newcollegeprep.mcnamaras.org to get added to our mailing list.

We need at least 20 students to make this possible. So come out and learn more about the benefits of a private school in our area, and how you can give this great opportunity to your child!

We had a great informational meeting last week!  It is clear that there is a) dissatisfaction with our District’s leadership (re-zoning, etc.) and b) doubt that our local public schools can provide the best education to prepare our kids for success in college and life.
So….we are still keeping alive the plan for a small, affordable, private school in our area.  Are you interested? If enough 6-12 graders join our school we can get tuition as low as $500 month! On Thursday, July 29, at 7pm, we invite you to join our Informational Seminar for The New College Preparatory Academy.  You will meet Dr. Kuni Beasley, the Academy’s founder and current Dean, and Debbie Elder, the Executive Director. They will share the vision behind The New College Preparatory Academy, and how it works in a local setting.

Melissa was a student in the Gateway program (the name under which New College Preparatory Academy used to operate).  She set a goal of attending college classes by age sixteen–and achieved it!
