How to install Windows XP into Acer Aspire 4710 Notebook

Acer has been launched a new model Acer Aspire 4710, this model specially designed for Windows Vista. But now most of the people interested to work in windows Xp because windows vista got enough problems. Because of this model designed for Windows vista, its bios’ setting is not compactable with windows Xp. If you try to install windows xp, error will occur saying that there is "NO HARDDISK" has been found in your system, this is happens because windows not able load the SATA drivers for the installation.

How to Resolve it??
To resolve this issue and to install the windows Xp into your Acer 4710 Laptop, you have to provide the SATA drivers during the installation, unfortunately laptop doesn't have floppy drive, So you may required to update your bios version. There is an ISO file which may help you to update your bios. Download this file and burn into CD using Nero Express. Choose the option that Burn from image. Start the laptop with burned CD, it will take you into bios updating wizard where it will update the bios automatically. After updating computer will restart. Press F2 and enter into bios settings. In Main menu you able to find the option called SATA Mode, by Default it is in ACHI Mode, select the SATA mode and press enter then choose the IDE mode.(See the picture below) Press F10 and save your bios setting. Now you can boot from Windows XP CD and it is ready to install the Windows XP into your Acer Aspire Notebook. Download the Windows Xp Drivers.

1. Launch Programs and Documents: If u have a program in your start menu, Google desktop would have already indexed it. Just start typing the name of the program and it'll show up in the pop up bar. Just scroll to it and hit enter to launch the programs or documents. If you have a lot of installed programs, this is the best and easier way to choose the programs.

2. An Address bar: If you want to access the file from Network, just type the address of your file path, Google desktop can open the File.

3. File Recovery: If you mistakenly deleted a file, you able to recover from the Google Desktop Cache. You can type the file name and it will be there from the last index history.

4.Web pages Access Offline: All web pages that you make a visit are stored in the cache on your computer regardless of Internet Settings. These cached pages you can access even when you are offline.
5. Quick Search Button: You can hit Ctrl key twice to bring up the quick search box, same way you hide the search box if its covering your desktop Space. And You can filter your search only specify with file extension in this way "file name file-type:doc".

6.Dictionary: If you want to know some words specific meaning, just enter "define:abc" where "abc" is the word you want to get meaning. And more Features like calculator, just the enter calculation directly to the search bar and hit enter. And there are Hot Keys which will enable search such as Ctrl+Q for Stock Quotes, Ctrl+P for Maps, Ctrl+F for Froogle, Ctrl+N for News, Ctrl+U for Groups, Ctrl+I for images, Ctrl+K for I'm Feeling Lucky and Ctrl+D to search only within the desktop.

Dell is now launching the Blu-ray drive as an optional extra on its XPSTM M1710 notebook, aimed at high-performance gaming and technology applications. Dell have this option available to customers worldwide, though it hasn't yet been extended to any other notebooks in Dell's range. Blue ray Disc has higher storage capacity, a main feature set that can be used for data storage and high-definition content delivery, and allows for backward compatibility with CDs and DVDs.

What is Blue-rayDisc?

The name Blu-ray is derived from the blue-violet laser used to read and write this type of disc. Because of this shorter wavelength (405 nm), substantially more data can be stored on a Blu-ray Disc than on the common DVD format, which uses a red, 650 nm laser. In comparison to HD DVD, which also uses a blue laser, Blu-ray Disc has more information capacity per layer (currently 25 GB, but test media is up to 33 GB). However, Blu-Ray discs are expected to be more expensive than HD DVD discs, at least initially. Sony has released 50 GB recordable BDs and will soon be releasing 50 GB rewritable discs.

The Blu-ray Disc is a similar format to PDD, another optical disc format developed by Sony (which has been available since 2004) but offering higher data transfer speeds. PDD was not intended for home video use and was aimed at business data archiving and backup, although currently it is gaining popularity as an HD video format medium and PlayStation 3 medium. The UDO format is aimed at similar purposes. Blu-ray is currently embroiled in a bitter format war against the HD DVD disc.

It's certainly very easy to carry, but the tiny buttons in and around the multifunction selector on the back of the camera are just too close together and will confound fat-fingered photographers. Press any of the buttons with your thumb, and you get the feeling you've accidentally pressed others, too.

And features like, You can capture video, as motion JPEGs and saved as AVI files, up to the capacity of the card. You can zoom, but the facility is digital, so the image degrades. Still, our informal testing showed the SD450 footage to be as smooth as the D550's and equal in the quality of its video and sound. You wouldn't quite want to leave your camcorder at home, but digital-camera video has come a long way. And at 640-by-480 and 30 frames per second, I think you'll be using more of this feature in the future.

The SD450 scored quite well on our other tests. It averaged 1,400 lines of resolution, which is very good for a 5MP camera and just a touch better than the V530 managed. Boot time was just 2.5 secondsÂ—less than the V530 required. The 2.9-second recycle time was very good, but not as quick as the V530's 1.1 seconds and shutter lagÂ—marginally more than with the V530. And there is no significant pincushion distortion and just a bit of the usual barrel distortion.

The phone's 2-megapixel camera, with a bright LED flash, works both underwater and on dry land. You save photos and 176-by-144, 15-second videos into the 15MB of onboard photo memory (there's also an extra 20MB for downloadable games and applications), but you cant directly download the photos your PC. Instead, you must picture-message them to your e-mail address. The camera also seemed oddly nearsighted out of the water; photos taken at a distance of 10 feet or less are sharp enough, if a little soft, and photos taken at a greater distance were genuinely blurry. One main lack is. no Bluetooth, a music player, and removable memory, the G'zOne isn't a full-scale multimedia phone such as the Nextel i580.
