Enhanced cab comfort, improved drivetrain efficiency and advanced precision ag capabilities

John Deere has introduced the next generation of its 8R, 8RT and 8RX tractors, designed to deliver higher productivity, greater efficiency and improved ease of operation in the 280–410 hp segment. The updated models are available as 8R tractors from 280 to 410 hp and as 8RT and 8RX models from 310 to 410 hp. The updated tractors combine strong drawbar performance with enhanced cab comfort and advanced precision farming capabilities, making them a powerful and versatile solution for demanding large-scale farming operations with tasks ranging from heavy pull to semi-load applications and occasional transport.

Turning engine power into capacity for growth

With up to 20% more drawbar power*, the 8R 410 delivers strong pulling performance for heavy draft applications, allowing operators to work with wider implements and cover more hectares efficiently. Across the range from 280 to 410 hp, the 9.0 l PowerTech™ JD9 engine together with a wide selection of transmission options converts engine output into efficient, usable traction. This gives growing farms the pulling capacity needed to take on more acreage with an 8R tractor, without the immediate need to add another machine.

CommandView™ 4 cab: comfort meets control

Operator comfort and intuitive control are central to the new design of the 8 series. The updated CommandView™ 4 cab introduces a range of improvements aimed at reducing fatigue and simplifying daily operation. New features include door cinch soft‑close technology, push‑button start with pin code protection, 320° wiper and wireless phone charging. The redesigned CommandARM™ integrates either CommandX™ Plus or CommandX™ Pro, available for e23™, AutoPowr™ or eAutoPowr™ (for 370 and 410 models) transmission options. The standard convenience display allows operators to store and recall personalised settings for seat position, climate control and infotainment. The next-generation seat offers electronic controls for both seat and CommandARM™. On the 8RX models, the new CommandView™ 4 Plus cab removes the right‑hand console, increasing legroom by 15% and improving side visibility to the implement by 20%.

“When developing the new 8 series cab, we deliberately put the driver and the needs of large farms at the centre of every decision,” said Marcus Luchmann, Go‑to‑Market Manager Europe & CIS for Tractors above 150 PS at John Deere. “A unified operating concept for both the driver interface and precision ag technology, from 6M to 8R High-Horsepower tractors and beyond, combined with transferable driver settings across tractors, enables operators to switch machines easily without re-training. At the same time, farm owners can assign the right tractor to each task more efficiently.“

Designed for efficient seeding and mixed operations

Seeding places specific demands on a tractor: efficient partial‑load operation, precise control and minimal soil impact. The new 8 series is engineered to meet these requirements in a balanced package. Independent tests show up to 35%** higher productivity in partial‑load and combined applications, enabling higher output and the efficient use of wider implements. Thanks to its efficient drivetrain and favourable weight distribution, the tractor can operate large seeders economically, often without the need for additional ballast. Intelligent Power Management (IPM) ensures the tractor delivers exactly the power required, maximising efficiency when full output isn’t needed. The Central Tyre Inflation System (CTIS) – or the four‑track 8RX configuration – further minimises ground pressure, helping protect soil structure and yield potential. Integrated Precision Ag solutions provide centimetre‑level accuracy, while the new Reactive Command Steering ensures stable, intuitive, low‑stress handling of the tractor throughout long seeding days and makes field-to-field change-overs more easy.

Versatile performance in the field and on the road

Modern tractors must earn their keep across a wide range of tasks. The 8 series tractor is designed as a versatile all‑rounder for large farms, delivering strong performance in heavy draft work, PTO applications and transport. The eAutoPowr™ transmission provides smooth, stepless acceleration and enables 50 km/h transport at a low 1,150 RPM level, improving fuel efficiency and comfort. At low speeds (up to 5 km/h), the drivetrain operates fully electrically, offering precise control and maximum torque for demanding work such as silage pushing or heavy PTO operation. Reactive Command Steering brings car‑like steering behaviour to the 8 series, with adjustable return‑to-centre functionality improving straight‑line stability on the road. Additionally, variable steering ratios based on speed of the tractor reduces the effort needed for steering. The improved rear hitch, now with active downforce, supports specialised tasks such as silage compaction or controlled implement penetration in hard soils.

Ready for guidance today and autonomy tomorrow

Every 8R, 8RT and 8RX tractor leaves the factory precision‑ready, equipped with integrated receiver technology, a G5Plus CommandCenter™ display and JDLink™ connectivity. Field tasks, including machine settings, guidance lines and application maps – pre-planned with AutoStart in the John Deere Operations Center™ – are sent wirelessly to the machine and start automatically when crossing the filed boundary. All 8 series models offer advanced precision functionalities, including supervised autonomy features such as AutoTrac™ Turn Automation, AutoPath™ and variable rate and depth control. Passive Implement guidance, including in reverse, supports accurate operation even with wide or complex implements. Wireless data synchronisation with the John Deere Operations Center™ removes the need for manual data transfer, while in‑field data sharing allows linking multiple machines to work together seamlessly. On top, the new 8 series tractors come ready to be retrofitted with John Deere autonomy technology.

Functional styling that supports performance

The updated exterior design of the 8 series reflects its technical capability. The narrow engine frame contributes to excellent maneuverability and a 5.7 m turning radius. The integrated ILS front axle is both a visual and functional highlight, enabling less headland passes and less path-to-path work in the field. The narrow, wasp-waist body design provides excellent front axle visibility to tram lines, the front hitch or into road crossings.

Built for uptime and easy maintenance

Ease of maintenance was a key focus in the development of the new 8 series. Daily service checks can be performed from ground level, with clear access to key service points. Fluid-level and air-restriction sensors provide maintenance alerts on the G5Plus display. The engine air intake system uses a Venturi effect to keep the air filter cleaner for longer, helping extend service intervals. Additional features include the eAutoPowr™ transmission with electric drive instead of a wear-prone hydrostatic unit, and a single-line CTIS with larger seals to reduce the risk of blow-outs.

The next-generation machine bus provides up to 2,000 remote diagnostic data points, supporting faster fault identification and service response as well as improved Expert Alerts. Remote Display Control also allows adjustments to be made from a mobile device directly on the G5 CommandCenter™.

“The new 8 series is designed to deliver tangible benefits in everyday farm operations,” concluded Marcus Luchmann. “From increased usable power in the 8R High-Horsepower models for demanding cultivation work to high efficiency in partial-load applications such as seeding with the 8R 410 eAutoPowr™, the range is built for consistent performance. Combined with the advanced John Deere Precision Ag technology available across the series, these tractors help large farms operate more efficiently, expand acreage without adding machines, and manage existing land with greater precision.”

Revised cab layout, unified operating concept and new intelligent e19™ transmission across the 6M range

John Deere has introduced the Model Year 2027 (MY27) update of the 6M tractor series. The update includes a revised cab layout, a more consistent operating concept across tractor series, expanded Precision Agriculture functions and a new e19™ full powershift transmission.

“The update is all about consistency, usability and versatility,” said Marcus Luchmann, Go‑to‑Market Manager Europe & CIS for tractors above 150 PS. “By aligning cab layout, controls, and Precision Ag functionalities across the 6M range up to the latest 8R and beyond, we are making it easier to integrate 6M tractors into existing fleets without sacrificing precision technology or data management capabilities.”

e19™: Intelligent Powershift Transmission

John Deere introduces the new e19™ transmission for the 6M series, featuring 19 fully powershifted gears designed to deliver efficient performance in both field and transport applications. Building on the proven PowrQuad™ technology, it integrates a dual-clutch design and advanced proportional control valves to ensure smooth, uninterrupted gear changes and a more dynamic driving experience.

The e19™ transmission features an integrated engine and transmission management system that continuously adapts gear selection and shifting behaviour based on multiple tractor inputs, supporting efficient operation and fast gear changes with no torque interruption under varying load conditions. The system allows clutch-free operation similar to a stepless transmission. An inclination sensor adds terrain awareness to gear selection making gear changes faster and more predictive. ‘Skip Shift’ jumps multiple gears for rapid speed changes, while ‘Scroll Shift’ keeps clutches partially engaged for even faster transitions, reduced heat, and less wear. Compared to the CommandQuad™ Plus transmission, the e19™ can deliver up to 5% productivity improvements, with up to 5% reduced fuel consumption.

Operators can choose between pedal or joystick control and change seamlessly from one to the other. In automatic mode, the system selects the appropriate gear and engine speed to balance performance, fuel efficiency, and operator comfort. Cruise control functionality helps maintain a constant ground speed under changing load conditions. At transport speeds up to 50 km/h, engine speed is reduced to 1,620 rpm. The transmission can be operated via the traditional control lever, the Compact CommandARM™, or the new CommandX™ Plus joystick, offering flexible control options depending on operator preference.

The e19™ transmission will be available on most 6-cylinder models up to the 6M 250

Cab Concept and Controls

The cab has been revised with a clearer layout and a more flexible control configuration. Options range from a right‑hand console with mechanical or electric SCVs to a compact CommandARM™ with G5 CommandCenter™ and CommandX™ Plus joystick. The operating logic now follows the 6R, 7R and 8R series, supporting easier transfer between machines.

CommandX™ Plus and Compact CommandARM™

The optional CommandX™ Plus joystick is available on all e19™ and AutoPowr™ transmissions. Integrated into the Compact CommandARM™, it offers six freely assignable buttons, two set speeds, and control of tractor and ISOBUS functions familiar from the CommandPRO™ joystick. Additionally, the Compact CommandARM™ offers two SCV configurations with traditional E‑SCV switches or an electronic joystick.

G5 CommandCenter™ and Display

The optional 10.1‑inch (25.65 cm) G5 CommandCenter™ display is the main interface for tractor and Precision Ag functions, supported by a corner post display for key parameters such as speed and engine rpm. In configurations without G5, the corner post display remains the main control centre.

The G5 platform supports a wide range of Precision Ag applications, from basic guidance to advanced features such as AutoPath™. The ‘Settings Manager’ function enables storage and recall of different profiles for tractor, implement and automation settings, while the ‘Layout Manager’ enables configuration of screen layouts according to task or operator preference.

The new Remote Display Control (RDC) enables remote adjustment of G5 displays, improving operator support and reducing setup time. Satellite Map visualization supports field orientation and documentation.

Automation Functions and Work Planning

The updated 6M models support iTEC™ headland management, automating repeatable sequences such as PTO engagement, hitch movement, hydraulic functions, travel speed and gear selection based on distance.
Road transport behaviour, cab environment, precision farming features and serviceability improved across the model range

John Deere today released the model year 2027 (MY27) update of its 6R Large and Xtra Large Frame tractor range, introducing technical refinements aimed at road transport performance, operator environment, precision farming capability and long‑term operating efficiency. The updated range comprises four Large Frame models (6R 180, 6R 200, 6R 220, 6R 240) and two Xtra Large Frame models (6R 230 & 6R 260), with outputs up to 305 hp with IPM.

Ride comfort: automotive ergonomics, adaptive damping, steering and braking updates

The new 6R road transport performance has been further improved with the Sport Package Pro, combining chassis, steering and braking updates to improve stability, ride quality and steering precision on- and offroad.

Central to this package is the updated TLS™ Pro front axle suspension that combines adaptive, adjustable damping and suspension with automotive‑grade components and reinforced suspension cylinders. The system continuously adapts to speed, load and surface conditions and is calibrated to each frame size. It operates fully automatically or can be adjusted via custom mode to suit operator preferences and ballast configuration.

The next‑generation Hydraulic Cab Suspension (HCS) features new low‑friction suspension cylinders, an updated controller and revised cab mounting components. Together, these improvements reduce vibration, harshness and noise and protect the driver from uneven ground conditions.

For MY27, a redesigned steering column with foot‑operated memory adjustment improves ergonomics and ensures a consistent driving position. A new 33 cm contoured leather steering wheel and a flatter steering column angle enhance steering precision and comfort, while a new displacement‑based braking system and automotive‑style pedals deliver progressive deceleration and easy changing of pedals without lifting the heel. Adjustable seat damping, wider rim options, Variable Ratio Steering and the new Reactive Steering complement the Sport Package Pro.

CommandView™ 4 Cabin: revised layout, visibility and noise reduction

The MY27 6R tractors introduce the CommandView™ 4 versatility cabin, designed to improve ergonomics, visibility and acoustic comfort. Increased cab volume and a revised layout provide more legroom and a more natural seating position.

A redesigned cab frame with forward‑sloping C‑pillars and a curved rear window improves rear implement visibility by up to 20% compared to the previous model. Interior noise levels are specified at 66 dB(A), supported by measures such as relocating steering and braking valves outside the cab, optimised cab mounting, quieter air conditioning blowers and a sound‑absorbing cab floor.

The next‑generation CommandARM™ adds a convenience display for adjusting seat, CommandARM™ and cab settings, including climate control, media and new nine‑colour ambient lighting. The standard CommandX™ Plus or optional CommandX™ Pro joysticks are available for the new e19™ full PowerShift and AutoPowr™ transmissions. The new ‘Vision Seat’ tops the seat portfolio, offering 50° swivel, electric adjustments and premium comfort features, such as neck ventilation.

Further cab updates include a touchscreen radio with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 6.1 sound system with subwoofer, wireless phone charging as standard, up to four USB-C ports, an 8.5-litre compressor-cooled refrigerator and a more powerful air conditioning system. Additional functional improvements include automatic display pre-booting when the door is opened to enter the cabin, a 320-degree windshield wiper, a new right-hand side wiper, automatic trailer steering axle lock when reversing, and a fully integrated Category IV cabin filter.

Precision farming: hardware installed, functions activated via licence

All MY27 6R tractors are delivered with StarFire™ 7500 integrated receiver, G5 CommandCenter™ and JDLink™ modem, enabling immediate access to guidance, automation and even supervised autonomy, subject to licence selection. Available functions include AutoPath™ Rows and Boundaries, AutoTrac™ Turn Automation, Passive Implement Guidance, and satellite map visualisation. In‑field Data Sharing synchronises multiple machines working on the same job, while DataSync transfers documentation wirelessly to the John Deere Operations Center™.

Automated job reports give contractors clear, ready‑to‑invoice documentation for every task, reducing administrative effort. Real‑time machine and fleet management improves visibility of utilisation, status and logistics. ‘Work Plan Sharing’ with customers streamlines job setup and avoids errors, while optional Machine Sync enables efficient leader‑follower operation in harvesting logistics.

John Deere today announced a major update to its 500R self-propelled sprayer line-up for model year 2027 (MY27), introducing a new 6,000-litre spray tank flagship model alongside significant upgrades to boom technology, spraying performance and operator comfort. Designed for large arable farms and professional spraying operations, the MY27 500R series builds on the established front-cab, rear-engine concept and enters a higher productivity segment while maintaining a compact transport width of just 2.55 m.

New 560R model adds 6,000-litre tank capacity
The headline addition for MY27 is the new John Deere 560R, expanding the 500R range into the 6,000-litre class. The larger tank is aimed at operators working tight application windows who need to cover more hectares per day with fewer refilling stops, particularly in cereals, oilseed rape and other high-input crops. The 560R complements the existing 4,000- and 5,000-litre models, giving customers a broader choice within a single platform.

New generation spray booms up to 42 m
MY27 also marks the introduction of an all-new spray boom portfolio for the 500R series with working widths of up to 42 m. The modular steel boom design is more compact and lighter, offering significantly shorter opening and closing times. Boom widths of 30, 36 and 42 m are available, with a double- or triplefolding design and both 25 cm and 50 cm nozzle spacings. All nozzles and stainless-steel spray lines are fully protected within the boom structure, helping to reduce damage and maintenance. Despite the wider working widths, the new booms maintain a 2.55 m transport width, supporting safe and efficient road travel between fields.

Improved boom stability with BoomTrac™ Pro 2 and active yaw control
A key technical upgrade for MY27 is the introduction of BoomTrac™ Pro 2, John Deere’s latest automatic boom height control system. With five (boom widths under 36 m) or seven (36 m and over) ultrasonic sensors, the system allows the boom to closely follow ground or crop contours, maintaining consistent spray height and overlap even at higher forward speeds. In addition, the new boom centre frame incorporates active boom yaw and roll control, designed to counteract chassis movement and slope effects. This helps to keep the boom stable across the full working width, improving application accuracy and reducing operator workload.

Higher spraying speeds with consistent application quality
For MY27, the maximum spraying speed of the 500R series increases from 25km/h to 30 km/h, without compromising droplet quality. This is enabled by the combination of stable boom control and John Deere’s established
application systems, including Individual Nozzle Control (INC) Pro and ExactApply™. These systems also allow multi-rate spraying (up to 15 different rates across the boom width), turn compensation and consistent droplet size across a wide speed range, helping operators apply crop protection products accurately while maximising daily output.

Fast filling and easy rinsing with PowrSpray™ solution system
All MY27 machines benefit from the innovative PowrSpray™ dual-circuit solution system. A high-capacity clean-water filling pump delivers up to 1,200 litres per minute, reducing filling time and improving efficiency during busy spray periods. Rinsing is easily done with an intuitive interface accessible both inside and outside the cab. Automated rinse programmes, combined with AirRinse™ and AutoDilute functions, help minimise residue, reduce contamination risk and prepare the sprayer quickly for the next application.

Operator comfort and transport efficiency remain core strengths
The MY27 500R series retains the front-mounted cabin, familiar from the John Deere combines and forage harvesters, and rear-engine layout, delivering a balanced 50:50 weight distribution and a clear view of the boom. Combined with in-wheel suspension and the CommandDrive™ drivetrain with automated rpm management, the result is high ride comfort both in the field and on the road. Despite its increased capacity and wider booms, the 500R remains easy to manoeuvre on narrow roads and through villages, an important consideration for European farming conditions.

Ease of use, setup and documentation
For MY27, the 500R series places a strong emphasis on ease of use through AutoSetup, which allows operators to prepare spraying jobs before entering the field. With integrated agronomic advice and full field guidance, machine settings, application parameters and guidance lines can be transferred directly to the sprayer, helping to reduce setup time and avoid operator errors. In addition, automated documentation supports farmers and ag service providers in meeting regulatory requirements. Application records are generated automatically, can be exported as Excel files, and are ready to be submitted to governmental authorities, making it easier to fulfil Cross Compliance obligations with minimal administrative effort.

“From easy pre-work planning to the quick opening and closing of the boom, to the freedom to speed up where and when possible thanks to Pulse Width Modulation, as well as efficient road travel thanks to added comfort features, we are looking at a 10 to 15% productivity gain compared to the previous model,” said Solenne Bourgois, Go-to-Market Manager Crop Care for Europe.

MY27 availability
Production of the MY27 John Deere 500R series is scheduled to begin in late 2026, with first customer deliveries expected from early 2027, depending on model and specification.

Productivity, automation and in-cab convenience enhanced across John Deere’s walker, rotary and high-capacity combine ranges

For model year 2027 (MY27), John Deere is rolling out a comprehensive package of updates across its T5/T6, S7 and X9 combine harvester series. The latest developments focus on productivity, in-cab convenience, slope performance and advanced automation, supporting operators in achieving a lower cost of harvest under increasingly diverse field conditions.

T5 and T6: proven automation and new in-cab adjustments
Predictive Ground Speed Automation (PGSA) is being introduced to the T5 and T6 combines for MY27, following its successful launch on the S7 in MY25. The system controls the combine’s ground speed based on crop height and biomass measurements taken pre-harvest from satellite scans and from on-the-go measurements made by cab-mounted cameras, such as down crops or dense weed patches.

Machines equipped with Predictive Ground Speed Automation will also be capable of using an operator-defined crop throughput target as an additional automation setting. When enabled, Predictive Ground Speed Automation with throughput will intelligently link ground speed with grain quality to help optimize harvesting performance and allow more dynamic speed adjustments to keep grain loss within acceptable limits.

Jonathan Edwards, John Deere Go To Market Manager, said: “This is technology that no other brand can offer, and we have seen how much of an impact it can have on productivity during one of the busiest times of the year.”

MY27 brings new remote adjustment capabilities to the T5 and T6 threshing and separation system. The booster bar and separator grates can now be adjusted directly from the cab, allowing operators to react immediately to
changing crop conditions without stopping or leaving the machine. This improves productivity while keeping the cab clean and reducing downtime.

Two new unloading augers expand the T5/T6 range. A 6.10 m rigid auger improves compatibility with wider headers, while a 7.30 m foldable auger for T5 models addresses markets with stricter road homologation requirements and provides a good match for 9.1 m platforms.

S7: improved performance on slopes
Active Slope Adjustment (ASA) is now available as a full specification option across all S7 combines. Using terrain data from the StarFire™ receiver, the system automatically adjusts the active belt speed to level crop flow to the cleaning shoe on side slopes. This results in more even material distribution and effectively doubles cleaning shoe performance without compromising grain quality or capacity.

For MY27, the S7 range offers four sidehill configurations, allowing customers to select the right solution for their operating conditions. Options include the Sidehill Kit, Active Slope Adjustment and HillMaster™, providing solutions for slopes from gentle undulations to more demanding hillside terrain while maintaining grain cleanliness and reducing losses.

X9: higher capacity and new feeding options
The X9 combine range gains a new HDX 50 header for MY27. With a working width of 50 ft (15.2 m), the new header significantly increases feeding capacity, supporting the high throughput capability of the X9 and improving
operator comfort by maintaining smoother crop flow at high harvesting speeds.

New grain handling options further enhance the X9’s productivity in highyielding crops. A larger 19,400-litre grain tank option is now available, increasing productivity in the field with fewer unloading stops. Also, a new 10.7
m unloading auger supports controlled traffic farming and improves unloading efficiency in wide working widths.

MY27 also introduces new threshing and separation configurations for the X9, including TRU THRESH™ concaves. The updated design improves modularity and simplifies crop changeovers, for instance by controlling concave and separator covers from the cabin.

Technology updates across the combine portfolio
For MY27, John Deere is introducing revised technology package structures across all combine series. The available Select, Premium and Ultimate packages differ by machine family, allowing customers to tailor automation and guidance functionality to their operational needs while clearly differentiating capability levels between T5/T6, S7 and X9 combines.

Auto unload is now available on S7 and X9 combines. The system automatically guides the tractor and trailer during unloading, ensuring consistent grain distribution while reducing operator workload and stress. Live fill monitoring provides real-time feedback, allowing the combine operator to focus on crop throughput even while unloading on the move.

Harvest Settings Automation continues to evolve for MY27, expanding the number of compatible crops. New additions include oats, sunflower, triticale, rye, peas, lentils and rice, allowing automatic optimisation across a wider
range of harvesting conditions and regions.

“With the model year 2027 updates, we are making our combines more intuitive, more connected and more adaptable to harvesting conditions in the field,” concluded Jonathan Edwards, Go-to-Market Manager Combines for
Europe. “By combining proven mechanical upgrades with smarter automation across all series, we are helping customers harvest more efficiently, with greater confidence and lower cost of operation.”

John Deere’s 500R sprayer will be making its first appearance at Cereals as the company plans a show stand packed full of innovation.

The self-propelled machine was unveiled in 2025 and will be travelling to Diddly Squat in June to take part in Sprays and Sprayers Arena demonstrations, as well as lining up alongside the 300M and R975i on the stand.

John Deere combined an eye-catching new design for its largest sprayer with technology and features to optimise performance while also simplifying daily operations.

The UK and Ireland’s largest arable farmers and contractors are expected to extract the most value from the 500R, which has been developed to meet the needs of those looking for the ultimate in cab comfort, spray accuracy, droplet quality and precision telematics.

The 550R and the 540R have tank capacities of 5,000 litres or 4,000 litres respectively. Both have the option of a 30m or 36m steel boom – capacity and boom span are the only key differences in what is otherwise two almost identical standard specifications.

Chris Wiltshire, John Deere’s Tactical Marketing Manager for the UK & Ireland, said the sprayer won’t be the only new piece of equipment this year.

“We will have more news to share before the event gets underway, so there will be several very good reasons to come to our stand at what should be a really great show in its new location,” he said.

Over the past 18 months, John Deere has launched a huge array of new products, including, most recently, its 8R high-horsepower machines. While the Waterloo-built 634hp tractor will not be making its way to the Cotswolds in 2026, there will be plenty of green and yellow metal.

The flagship X9 combine, which delivers an average of 45% more capacity across all crop types with no sacrifice in grain quality – all while using 20% less fuel – will lead the harvesting line-up on the stand.

Both the 6M and 6R series tractors will also be on show, where attendees can see what makes these cost-effective tractors some of the most versatile machines on the market, with precision ag, high engine performance, and first-class cab comfort.

Attendees will also be able to learn more about John Deere’s See & Spray technology, as well as the subscription-based Precision Essentials package, which allows operators to see the benefit of precision technologies without having to purchase the equipment outright, unlocking a simple, scalable way to introduce guidance and automation onto farms.

“Cereals is about the people as well as the product, and as usual we will have a big team of experts on hand to meet customers,” Chris added. “We look forward to the chance to catch up with our existing contacts and also making some new ones.”

Hunt Forest Group has formally signed the Armed Forces Covenant, reinforcing our commitment to supporting serving personnel, veterans and their families as they transition into civilian careers.

The covenant was signed at the National Transition Event at Silverstone Circuit, alongside fellow John Deere dealer Ripon Farm Services. The initiative builds on commitments already made by Ben Burgess, Tallis Amos Group and John Deere itself.

By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, Hunt Forest Group pledges to ensure that those who serve, or have served, in the armed forces are treated fairly and face no disadvantage in access to employment and career opportunities.

This commitment aligns closely with the John Deere Military Hiring Programme, which supports service leavers into long term careers within the agriculture and turf machinery industries. The programme recognises the strong technical ability, discipline and work ethic developed through military service, particularly within engineering and technician roles.

Service leavers who join the programme receive tailored training and support, helping them transition into technician positions across the John Deere dealer network in the UK and Ireland.

“It was a privilege to represent Hunt Forest Group on the John Deere UK stand at the recent military hiring event at Silverstone,” says Nick Hill, Group Service Manager at Hunt Forest Group. “Meeting so many talented service personnel was a highlight and gave us a great opportunity to showcase our business and the career pathways available through the John Deere Military Hiring Programme.

“We were especially encouraged by the strong interest in technician roles from individuals bringing exceptional experience and technical discipline from their military careers.”

Through our involvement in the programme and our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant, Hunt Forest Group is proud to play a part in supporting service leavers into rewarding careers, while continuing to strengthen our technical teams with highly capable people.

Service members and veterans interested in learning more about the John Deere Military Hiring Programme can find further information and register their interest via the John Deere website.
