The Days are getting longer and that means that summer is right around the corner! We will be open for our 66th season on Sunday, June 2nd however, there are a few opportunities to join us in May. We will have our main dining room open for Mother’s Day on Sunday May 12th from 12:30-7pm. Beginning May 1st we will open reservations for groups of 8 or more wishing to make a reservation. Otherwise it is on a first come, first seated bases. We will also be open on Saturday May 18th and Sunday May 19th both days from 4-8pm.

We are looking forward to serving Islanders and Tourists alike in the upcoming season.

The 2024 President’s Excellence Awards Gala celebrates local entrepreneurs, their successes, innovations, community contributions, and overall business achievement across nine award categories. We were honored to not only be named as a Finalist for the Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Small Business but we were over the moon to win this award. Congratulations to all finalists and award winners on their hard work and continued success.

Closed for the season

After much discussion, we have decided to close our doors for the season. Hurricane Fiona has left a lot of damage to our little Island, time will be needed for clean up and to ensure it is safe for Islanders and visitors alike.

Thank you so much for all of your care and concern and we are looking forward to seeing you for our 65th season in 2023.

Hello September!

The days are still warm but the evenings will be getting shorter before you know it! There is still lots of time to enjoy one last visit to New Glasgow. We would like to update you on our Fall schedule, as there are certain days we will not be open this month.

Our daily hours will remain 4 pm to 8 pm every day except the following listed below:

Tuesday, September 13

Tuesday, September 20

Thursday, September 22

Tuesday, September 29 (potentially)

Thursday, September 29

Our last day open to the public will be Sunday, October 2nd, 2022

Please note the following changes to our days of operation for August. We will be open at 4pm every day other than the ones listed below.

This season has been great and we have been overwhelmed by the support of those wishing to dine with us. We want to be able to continue providing the quality experience you have come to expect, so right now we need to take care of our staff to ensure they can continue to do so.

Opening for the 2022 season

The countdown is down to days! We are opening for our 64th season this Sunday, June 5th – doors open at 4 pm daily.

Beat the summer rush and enjoy a scenic drive to beautiful New Glasgow this June. Take in all that our community has to offer from golf at Glasgow Hills, cheese and goodies from Glasgow Glen Farm, The Gardens of Hope at The PEI Preserve Co. or take the kids, stop in and help celebrate The Toy Factory’s 50th Anniversary! There is lots to do, so why not make a day of it and finish it off with a visit with us.

New Glasgow Lobster Suppers has been a part of life here on PEI since its beginning back in 1958 for both tourists and Islanders. We pride ourselves in creating a memorable experience that brings families back over the generations. We look for employees that are hardworking and can help deliver that unwavering experience no matter how busy it gets.

We are currently accepting applications for all restaurant positions ( part/full-time available) for the upcoming 2022 season.

In the kitchen, we offer a great learning environment either for those just entering the workforce or those with experience behind them. Working with our Red Seal Chef Michael Forrest, you are then teamed up with current employees who will guide you through the ins and outs of a day at NGLS. We believe in freshness, supporting local, and providing a quality product every time. We are about home-cooked food and take you back to the basics. You will learn how to make things from scratch, how to work as a team, and how to maintain that quality in a high-pressure environment.

Front of the house, you do not just deliver the food or drink. You don’t just seat the guests or handle their transactions, you meet new people. You listen, you help, you let them in on the greatest little spot that “only Islanders” know about. You provide the experience, you set the mood not to mention the bar when they compare their visit to other places on Island or off. And we want to help you learn how to be attentive, how to deliver our experience no matter how demanding the day is.

Do you love to meet new people? Or perhaps just have a love of food? Are you looking for a place to learn those skills that will stay with you throughout your life? New Glasgow Lobster Suppers could be the right fit for you.

Our 2022 season will begin in early June and wraps up in October – we are looking for staff that will be available right up to our closing day.
