God said:

The world looks for superlatives. Who is the fairest of all? Who is the smartest of all? Who is the most foolish of all? Who is the biggest? Who is the smallest? Who wins what in the Guiness Book of Records? Who becomes Miss America in one year and then is forgotten soon enough?

What does any of this matter? What is all this but a passing fancy. Enjoy as you enjoy, yet what matters any of this to your soul? Now, listen, your soul likes you. Your soul enjoys you. In this way, your soul enjoys your distractions. It makes the best of the ride you take together. All the while, your soul beckons you toward a grander frontier. Will you come?

You carry your soul within you, yet you can also consider that it is your soul who carries you. Your soul jaunts off with you beyond the commonplace. The soul – your soul – is not always nourished in this land of Earth that sometimes feels far away from even acknowledging the existence of soul. Your soul doesn’t weigh much in terms of the gravity-filled world. You can’t wrap your soul in gold. You can’t even wrap your soul in aluminium foil.

Your soul doesn’t have interest in gold or food or all the matters - even the serious life-saving matters - that your mind and body are presently indentured to. Your mind and body are alert to danger and risk. Your soul is alert to God and a whole realm that you hardly dream of.

There is an expression in the world something like “Not able to save my soul for the life of me.” Your mind and body aren’t exactly avid about saving your soul. Your mind is busy, and your body is concerned with saving its skin!

For one thing, as a matter of practice, your soul doesn’t need saving. You may have thought otherwise. You accepted a verdict somewhere along the line. I am inclined to say that you can use some saving as you mean to expand your worldly horizons, not your soul. There isn’t very far that your body can go. Even if you travel to the planets, your body and mind are well-attached and remain bounded so long as you see no further. In contrast, your soul can travel anywhere, and that means anywhere.

Your heart is in Mine, and My heart is in yours. I want to say that your soul is Our Eternal Connection wherever your body is or has been or what state you are in, yet Our Connection goes beyond body and mind to heart and soul. How connected are Heart and Soul? They do seem to go together. They stay together. Heart and Soul are of the same mind, so to speak.

The world has a mighty part in the whole scheme of things. The world is not to be fluffed off. The world has a meaning. The physical world is powerful. It wants to be inhabited by all kinds of living things, including human beings. You are the Highest of My Manifest Creations. I populated the world with you and asked you to take care of My Beautiful World.

There is more to the world than the surface of it. In the same way, there is more to you than the surface of you. There is more to everything than its apparent surface. Your body is actually made of swirling atoms. There is more than the physical heart. The physical heart goes back to dust. Is your Heart equivalent to your soul? Is it another side of your soul? It doesn’t matter. You know what a loving heart is. Your soul is Infinite and does not get carried away the way your heart may. All souls are good souls.

Therefore, the Truth of you cannot stray except on the surface. You are made of a good soul that has stood the tests of time. Good soul, good soul, you travel wide and far.

The Truth

God said:
Come to the realization that the world you call real is only one perspective of the world you live in and the life you live. It is a stark one-way interpretation. Life, as you perceive it, is Yes or No. It’s this or it’s that. It’s finite. It is infinite in its dichotomy and all the diversity it identifies. The world is finite. There is an opposite for everything, even Oneness. The world has a dividing line. Oneness doesn’t.

There is more than one dimension to the world you live in. To go along with a clear-cut division of opposites, We can talk about the Infinite World, or, We can just as well name Infinity as Heaven or Truth. Believe Me, Infinity is the Truth, and Eternity is the Truth. No matter how you perceive your life to be, I tell you absolutely that Infinity and Eternity are the Truth.

As you see it, the world is fraught with opposites, and you are familiar with temporary heartache and temporary happiness as opposites. As you see life in the world, happiness is limited, and heartache is unlimited. Is this how it is for you?

What is limited is your perception, beloveds. You tend to see the Earth World as reality and Heaven as pretty fiction when your concepts have to be reversed. Heaven is Truth, and Earth Life is fiction, exaggerated fiction, even fantasy fiction. Of course, you see only what you see. You see cause and effect as constant forces in the world. Your mother may have told you that if you don’t wear your hat in winter, you will get a bad cold, and so you wonder what I can be thinking when I say that cause and effect do not exist -- they sure seem to exist because of pseudo time and place which certainly seem solid to you no matter how many times I say what you see and touch and hear etc. are illusory.

Dear Ones, you have the world you see, and the world I speak of that you do not yet see.

And, therefore, in effect, I tell you that your senses are not to be believed. Quite naturally, you wonder: “Why on God’s Earth do we have senses if they do not proclaim Truth to us?”

The five senses are like cat whiskers that let the cat know if he can fit through an opening. The senses are about protecting you in the physical world.

The physical can convey Truth only so far. Beyond the physical, you have heart and mind. From one way of thinking, heart and mind are also physical. You do already know that there is more to life than what you see, touch, hear, taste, smell, and heart and mind are more than physical.

The five senses are pleasure-seeking, or they are warning bells. The five senses interpret the world for you. They tell you to go forward, or they caution you. While you are in a body on Earth, the five senses are necessary for you. There are also other more refined senses that are not so clear and dependable to you. Intuition comes to mind. There are subtler senses as well that arise from other than the physical body. We can say that these subtler senses are soul awareness senses.

An example would be the subtle sense of hearing Me, as in a Heavenletter. We are speaking of senses attuned to the mysterious and wondrous ways in which I perform. Yes, let’s call this Sense of Attunement as the Wondrousness of Oneness. This sense is more like seeing and hearing and understanding. You are no stranger to this subtler aspect, whatever you may think.

Be Happy to Be Alive

God said:

You want to be thoughtful and not thoughtless at the same time as you keep your head from being overloaded with thoughts. Overloaded with thoughts, you probably aren’t getting anywhere. One thought at a time. Maybe some people can juggle many thoughts and juggle many actions as well, or so it seems. I’m inclined to think that you may not be one of these. You may do best eating one food at a time even as there may be many foods on your plate.

All can be done in its turn.

Although there is gravity in the world, you are not meant to be grave.

You are to be light of foot and light of mind and heart and shine My beautiful Light within you onto the world that lies before you. Keep your light shining, and you won’t be heavy-handed in the world. Being very serious can be a bottleneck to your life. Be a lightweight. Be more like a serene ballet dancer. Serene ballet dancers in life are no longer focused on their individuality. They are focused on the dance and the story they reveal. Ballet dancers, in a sense, work at the speed of light and are light-footed to boot.

I am not sure that seriousness has its place in life in the world. One-pointed-ness has its place. Desire what you desire and go after it, yet you are not so serious that you knock others aside. If you desire to get somewhere, you still stay within the speed limit. The speed of light is true speed in that everything is accomplished before you see it. Everything is complete within an instant of thought. If healing is your goal, know that you are already healed. If a career is your strong desire, go for it and find it, yet not at the exclusion of everything else.

If wealth is your desire, what do you have when you have it? What are you going to do with it? Build a bigger house for yourself? Beloveds, do you really believe you will be happier in a bigger house or with an outstanding car or anything at all that may fill up life in the world?

Happiness is not outside you. It is within you. Be happy to be alive. Pay attention to what does give you happiness for longer than a minute. Thinking about happiness is worth a great deal, yet not the same as living happiness. Get to know happiness right now. Be happy where you are now. Happiness is not something far away from you. Be happy now and not wait for another day.

Happiness seems to come when you are not searching for it the same way when you create, you create. You are not cogitating about creating. When you are creating a sculpture or a painting or writing a play, you enter into the creative act, and you forget yourself for a welcome while.

You forget yourself in order to find yourself. The lost will be found holds a new meaning for you now. Overly conscious of yourself, you are lost to yourself.

When you love, you are living love, not exclaiming at it. Exclaiming about love is exclaiming about what is, after all, your natural state. You don’t go around saying: “Look, I am breathing!” Nor do you go around saying: “I am here in God’s heart.” Nor do you go around saying: “I am a mother,” or: “I am a father.”

A baby doesn’t go around saying: “I am a baby.” A baby is a baby.

You don’t have to go around saying: “I am God’s Child.” You are God’s Child. You don’t have to go around saying: “I am part and parcel of God, and I serve Him on Earth.” You are what you are, and you are part and parcel of God and you serve, and you serve, and you serve. One way you serve is by enjoying life on Earth. You really do enjoy serving when it is from your heart. Please do not think for one moment that serving Me is a heavy-duty thing. Serving Me is as light as air.

You don’t serve Me with a sense of duty. You don’t serve Me because you hear it is a good thing to do. You serve Me, and serving Me happens to make you happy. You are not being anything but what you already are. After all, you are made in My image.

The Wholeness of the Tree

What I love is you. This is to say that I love Myself. How could I not love Myself? I created you. I created the dear animals. It was easy to create you.

What about the foliage I created? Mountains and valleys. Dust bunnies. There is room on Earth for everyone and everything. I did not measure or record. I created the love of My life. There is not one inch of the Earth that I do not love. Deserts and wetlands. Forests and jungles. I put everyone and everything in the right place according to their requirements.

I don’t know that I thought of weather, yet how could a world be without clime and such?

Remember, I did not have to think creation through. I did not have to puzzle it out. All I had to do was to desire, and you appeared, My beloved. All are My beloved. That’s how it is. I desired you, and you appeared. And there is the world with everything in it and enough for all. I don’t have to call by name what I desire.

All of Creation popped up based on My desire for it.

Desires are powerful. You, too, will come to know that you don’t have to run after anything. Desire, and trust your desire will be fulfilled. It does not have to be, yet you trust that all you need will come to you. I do not mean idle wishes. I mean desires. Yet this could include idle wishes as well, why not?

You may not have desired rain, yet rain comes to you to give you water to drink.

You don’t have to rush after what you desire. You don’t have to be hunter of fulfillment of desires, yet it behooves you to take initiative. It behooves you to desire for seeming others. Consider that all My children are one tree. The tree wants every branch to thrive, each blossom to bloom, each fruit to flourish. There is interdependence. A tree’s roots go deep so that the furthermost leaf has all it might need. And every leaf desires the Wholeness of the Tree.

All of life is cycle and recycle. All of life is energy. All of life is made of invisible atoms. Atoms are. They are not owned. Who owns them?

And now I ask each of My children to create peace. Don’t blame elected world leaders for war and dissension. In truth, elected officials are representing you. When your vision expands, their vision will expand as well. This Heavenletter is about connections. No one is unconnected to another.

You say, "Tut Tut," regarding world leaders and how they blame what are called other countries and may make unkind petty remarks while you scald others with your words. Talk is cheap, yet talk is powerful. Bless what you call the other side, for the so-called other side is no other than you as well.

I created the Earth. I did not create other countries. I did not make maps. I made rivers and lakes and oceans, and I suppose you can say they have borders to contain them, but that’s it. I did not create the borders you uphold for dear life, as if the ground under your feet belongs to you, as if the sky belongs to you. The sky does belong to you. It also belongs to everyone.

To the best of My knowledge, no one yet has said the sky belongs to him per se, yet there may be aircraft that are not allowed to fly here or there in the name of defense. Let offensives dissolve, and who will need to defend? What will have to be protected where all share for the benefit of all?

The World Offers Enchantment

It is true. You are to follow your own heart. You are your own drummer. This is not to say that you are to necessarily follow all of your immediate impulses. You may want another ice cream sundae. This does not mean you have to say Yes to another ice cream sundae.

You may want with all your heart to have a new car. This doesn’t necessarily mean you are to buy one just now. Sometimes it isn’t a choice, or a good choice for you. It is not a bad thing when you cannot afford something. Not having the money helps you to discern and make decisions.

It is good for you to follow your dreams. Of course, all dreams aren’t about spending money. In the relative world, everything depends.

Common sense also has its place. Nor can it be said that common sense is to rule. Whose common sense is it? Yours or someone else’s? Results are not always the test. What you see as good results or unfortunate results may not tell the tale. Eventually, someone would have discovered the sought-after New World. If Christopher Columbus had initially listened to the advice of the world, it wouldn’t have been Christopher Columbus who discovered America.

It is not always so easy to know where your heart is leading you or whether it is truly your heart at all. Many a man and woman have fallen in love. Their hearts were certainly happy, and yet how many of these happy hearts married great happiness?

However much anything may be seen as a mistake, no one really knows. Something may be regretted, yet that doesn’t have to mean that it was a mistake. Oh, yes, you might choose differently now. You might unchoose the marriage you chose, for instance, yet you cannot say with accuracy that you made a mistake.

Perhaps another way to say this is that mistakes are also part of life. If it is true that there are no accidents, then, no matter how something may appear to you in hindsight, it was not a mistake.

Regardless, you may well be wiser. Or maybe not, for so it is said that many of My children seemingly repeat their mistakes.

One could say that life itself is a process of making mistakes.

I will tell you this: Life in the world would be dull without your making what you call mistakes. What if you were always on time and always in the right place at the time? What if your mascara never smudged? If you never spilled milk, what would you have to cry over? What if you never lost your keys? What if you always said the right thing? What if you never had to go to the dentist? Do you not gain some joy from the stirring that life provides?

Earth life is about the unplanned-for which may or may not have been what you wanted. Life is for the unexpected, for with unexpected, you take leaps. You have to. And often you rise above. Often you make it across a bumpy road.

If you could paint your life as you wish at any given moment, you would not be painting a true picture of life in the world. Of course, you like to dream of a perfect life. More power to you.

None of Us know at a given time what is perfect and what is not. None of Us know with certainty where a road will lead, uphill or downhill. The straight and narrow is not always better than the wild and woolly. Beauty and the Beast may not be what they seem. No one always wins the lottery. But, hey, this is life in the world. The world holds enchantment for you. Regardless of how you may sum up your life, life itself is enchanting. You always succeed in the pure living of life regardless of your evaluation of it.

I speak in Silence. You understand this, don’t you? It is not even that I have a thought. I am Beyond Thought. Yet, you are meant to hear My Words that arise as if from a fountain. My love radiates. You would say My love vibrates energy. From this energy, those that feel the light tremor construe or translate My energy into thoughts. That’s how it is that I come across to you in language and even many various languages at one time. So, yes, I am an energy that vibrates. I vibrate love. I cannot help it. I am Love, and I do not argue with it. I do not fault it. I do not question it. I accept it.

You are of the same vibration, yet you question your capacity and think too much perhaps about repercussions and a chain of possibilities. Receive My love and allow My love to flow. It will envelop you. It will envelop the world. You will be inundated in My love, and you will flourish and grow in it.

It’s all here. All My love. It is yours. You cannot hoard it, however. You have all of it, yet it does not belong to you. You are a transmitter of My love. You are a teletype machine of My love. In that sense, you are the instrument through which My love passes. My love passes through you out to the world and everyone in the world whether they know it or not. There are no boundaries to My love that passes through you like rays of the sun. There is no down-side to My love, and there is no keeping it to yourself. You are not to sequester My love or file it or put it in a bank vault.

The love I give has to be passed on right away. My love is meant to be smooth-flowing, not held aside or stored for another day. There is plenty of My love for all. My love is not to be stored, for then it becomes a possession, and you may forsake your transmission of it.

My love, the love I give, has no demarcations. There is no fine print. No instructions come with My love except to follow My example and give it away. It doesn’t have to be earmarked. It just has to be sent on its way. Love is manna from Heaven. Love becomes stale unless it moves right along. You are a dispenser of My love, yet you are not the chooser of where My love goes, you understand. It is not your choice to set it aside or earmark it.

That does not mean that you fall all over trying to disseminate My love. No one has to stand in line or have a ticket to claim My love forwarded through you. There is no label that accompanies My love. Sender: God. Recipient: Everyone.

I hear you think: “Good old God knows what He is doing.”

I know what I am doing.

When you pick up words from Me, that is My love in words.

When I send you people, that is My love in people.

When I send you material gifts, that, too, is My love in material gifts.

The main thing is the Essence of My Love.

Here is what you have to know: Whether seen or heard or noticed or not, there is not one moment in which I am not sending all My love to you. I give you an Infinity of Love. I do not know how to give less. I couldn’t give you less love if I tried. There is no effort on My side. This is the natural flow of God and Nature. It is inevitable that My love will flow to you and so through you. You are a transmitter of My love. So transmit.

Boundaries and Freedom

God said:

You are letting loose of boundaries. Little by little, you are. It isn’t that boundaries own you, beloveds. It is that you hold on to the boundaries. It is you who own the boundaries, and it is you who keep them and keep freedom away. There is a certain ease in going along with the crowd and going along what is called mainstream for however long it lasts before mainstream changes.

How frightening is the world to you without boundaries, without rules and restrictions and some kind of imagined order. You believe with all your heart that you want to be free of infringement, yet, at the same time, you fear life without bounds. You fear you might go too deeply into the middle of the sea if there were no rope to keep you close to shore. You don’t want all those leashes to hamper you. At the same time, you don’t want to be absolutely without them. You like to protest boundaries, yet, they comfort you. At the very least, boundaries give you something to tug against or to rail against. They are very real to you, these boundaries, the idea that you can go here and not there, or only this far, and not farther. You may want to come off the assembly line, and yet you may not want to diverge from it very much or at all.

What if you are really responsible for your own life, and there isn’t anything to keep you in tow? It’s possible that you like being a rebel for the sake of it yet not in actuality.

Ultimately, you are the own decider of your life. One way or another, you are. You may think you are safer within boundaries. Boundaries may be forced on you, and so you learn what is worth fighting and what is not or how to fight or just get past the boundaries. Boundaries or no boundaries, you are your own decision-maker, even when you blame your decisions on something outside you.

Look, if you are in prison, you are in prison, and you can’t just walk out. This lack of freedom is imposed upon you, and yet, if you find yourself there, you are there. Even if you are falsely imprisoned, even if imprisonment is foisted on you, you are there. Physical restrictions are restrictions whether you merit them or not. In one sense, there can be freedom within restrictions. Regardless, you have the freedom to deal with what is imposed upon you as you do choose.

You like the idea of being responsible for yourself, yet the reality of free choice isn’t always hunky-dory with you.

What it comes down to is: How do you come to terms with life as it comes before you? How do you make peace with life or go at it, kicking and screaming, even if you keep your protest within you, silent and unseen.

How as a child you yearned for the day you could do anything you wanted when you wanted, and yet, somehow, that day has never come. Did you turn away from this day or not even notice it? What context do you put your life in? Do you give yourself the illusion of freedom? What are you doing with your life? And what do you make of it?

Whatever you make of your life, however you view it, you act on it the way you see it. Or you go along with life the way others or even everyone else seems to.

Sometimes it seems to you that life is a passing fancy. That is pretty close to the truth of it, beloveds. Life is a passing fancy.

God said:
You are the delight of My Being. I cannot say you are the delight of My life, for My Being is All. I am a Being of Light, and I have no form except the forms in My Creation. My Being is very vibrant and alive. My Being is beyond life, as you understand life. I am the very Stillness from which life comes. I am the Depth, and I am the Depth of you.

Surface life, as you know it, is a dream. You go through motions as in a movie. You have a movie you are making, a story you are telling, a book you are writing, a life you are living on Earth, a stage play, a TV series, a novel your eyes and heart swim in. We could say that I live through you, even as We are One. You display yourself while I am behind the scenes. I can be summed up as Light and Love, Love and Light. I wax luxurious in Light, and so do you. I KNOW, whereas you may not KNOW. You may overlook the Silent Reality. With your conscious mind, you overlook it.

Nevertheless, you are in the same place I am, although it is not a place at all. You, of course, are accustomed to place cards, place settings and the all-seeming manifestations of place and space when, in actuality, you are nowhere at all except in My metaphorical heart, for We, I, am One Being, and you are the same One Being. The you, the I on Earth, look for entertainment and other such attractions that distract you from Silence. You have another definition of Vastness. You see Vastness as many-fold. Vastness is Oneness too. Space does not exist in Vastness, do you follow Me?

It is the same too with Infinity and Eternity. There are no limits, no limits at all. There are no perimeters. There are no boundaries. Yet Silence and Vastness exist in a realm of Beauty and Energy, the highest Energy, the Energy of Being even as Being is Stillness without attributes.

And, yet, in the world of language and life on Earth, you zoom around on Earth as if your form were a toy car, even as you, emblematic of Me, are pure Silence in the Vastness of what can be called the Everythingness of Nothingness. What a beautiful place to be. Being is not concrete but rather the Essence of Life. You are essential to Life in the World and Life out of this World as well.

While on Earth, of course you participate in daily life and daily bread. Even as you may at times crawl on Earth, you fly with Me and wonders do perform. You may think that the etheric world does not exist. Beloveds, you exist in Unbounded Vastness as you play around on what is referred to as solid ground.

Only in the world are there fiction and fantasy. To you on Earth, thoughts of other dimensions are fantastical. Your existence as a seeming separate person is fantasy, beloveds. Naturally, fantasy has its place in non-time and non-space just the same.

It all seems like a roundabout journey to you, beloveds. Sometimes you think and perhaps say:

“Why do we have it, this journey on Earth? Why don’t we skip it and cut to the chase? Why all this involvement which is lived yet not true? Why do we ever have to imagine that we depart from Heaven even for one moment? God, I know You will tell me that I came to Earth of my own volition. You say I volunteered. With You as My constant Companion, what would I not volunteer for? With You right before Me, when You ask, how could I ever say No? In Heaven I cannot say No to you, yet on Earth, I can and do. Most of the time I cannot even believe my life. Am I a Fallen Angel, God? Have I fallen to Earth?”

No, beloveds, you have risen to the challenge of playing what seems like a bit role for a moment of fictitious time when all the while you are a star in Heaven, a star on Earth seeking to remember Who and where and why you really are.

That you live on Earth is a blessing to Me and to you and the whole wide world. I am the Acme of Your Life. I am the Culmination, and you have Me right now arm in arm with you. I give you the Gift of Life. I sponsored you, and I sponsor you still.

How well I am aware of the matters that grind over and over in your mind and wear you out. You may treasure Me for the gifts I give you, yet you may not treasure Life Itself. You do not want to be so close to Life, so involved in it, so up and down in it like a peripatetic elevator. You are so caught up in the Stream of Life that you allow lesser matters to aggravate you to an extreme over and over again, do you not?

I hear you cry to Me:

“Dear God, would I learn that what has been done and not done right is not worth the aggravation I give to it. I would love to be free of aggravation, yet, apparently, I jump on the bandwagon of being upset. I often think: If only others would think ahead, all the grief there would not be.

“Of course, if only I had thought ahead. If only I had. Every time I am the culprit, God. Yes, if others had done thus and so, it would be better. Yes, if I had done thus and so, it would be better. I wouldn’t be aggravating now.

“I am in a slump. It must be that I need to sit up straight and make room in life for myself. I must stand tall. I don’t want to make myself an ant any longer climbing up and down these little hills of upset that I make so important.

“God, you have said it all. Appreciate all the good, and let go of what I don’t favor. So simple. Keep what gives happiness. Let go of what does not. Why do I keep niggling thoughts around? I toss them over my shoulder and lug them around with me. I open the duffel bag I keep them in often and examine the content like jewels. I pour over them again and again. I am like a miser of hard feelings rather than a miser of gold like King Midas. I keep nothing worth keeping in any sense of the word keeping. If only I could toss out all the dregs that run through my mind like rosary beads, one after the other.

“No longer will my allegiance be to all that is not worth keeping. I simply will focus on that which I do appreciate. May I savor the beautiful gifts You have given to me, God. That’s all I really have to do. Savor the fine linen and china and never mind anything else. You have given me enough good things to think about. God, if I could circumvent this one thing, how happy I would be.”

Beloved Child of My Heart, this is like procrastination in washing dishes and sweeping the floor, and concrete actions that clear the way for you. Get the dishes washed, dried, and put away, and cause for having them on your mind isn’t there. This is freedom from thoughts that ail you. Wash your thoughts and put them away. Sweep them clean.

This is simple subtraction. This is take-away. When you have beauty and completion before you, where is there any room for pondering and aggravating? If you must turn things over in your mind, turn over diamonds of thoughts and look at that which pleases you. Why not? Why not, indeed?

You are a natural in fulfilling My dreams. You are star of fulfilling My dreams. No one has to know that you are a star and that you fulfill My Will. You have to know. Let others think whatever they think.

When I say that you have an assignment to do on My behalf – and everyone does -- I am speaking of the work and play you do for Me which is inevitably for the good of the world and humankind. Whatever service I ask of you is on My behalf. It is Our One Unified Will that you lift the world high.

Only as you rise can you do this.

It is your destiny to rise and to serve. You can't have one without the other. Rise and serve. Rise and shine.

The rising I speak of may not be the rising that the world may think of. I am not speaking of world acclaim or riches. Please understand that I am in favor of your success in the world, yet this is not what I speak of now.

All you ever have to have, you already have, and this is Our inviolable connection you already have. Whether acknowledged or not, We are more than connected. We are entwined. We are so entwined that there is no We, only I, only Oneness Supreme.

And so I serve, and so you also serve. You serve in My Name. You speak for Me. You do for Me. And, as you do, you speak for all. You herald Me to the world. You open doors for Me and more and more.

It is understood that you do not always know the good you do and how you fulfill My Will. Often you mosey along without a clue as to how you are furthering My Will. You do understand now that through the constraints of language, I speak as if We are two when only I exist and We are joined as One. Yes, beloveds, We are One. You are My Oneness. All of life is the story of Our Oneness, My Oneness which I share with the seeming All.

You appear as My Self in many forms. Whatever your guise in the world, beggarman, merchant, chief, you are My unlimited Self. Seen or unseen, you are a Knight in Shining Armor.

All that I can do, you can do. You have done. You are a considerable force in the world. You sweep the world up in your arms and carry it to Me. The world has been wounded, and you carry it to Me to heal. And now I tell you that you are a healer in the world. The Light of the World is a healer. By your very presence, you heal the world. Stay in peace, for it is in silence that you heal.

First, heal all the slights you hold within you. Let them go. This is the past that you are letting go of. You have had enough of the past. The past has to be left behind. Bygones must be bygones. You are here and now. You are present in My heart. Stay with Me. Just be with Me. Be the heart of Me. Let Us be together in Eternity, for this is the Truth.

There is no past, no present, no future, only the Infinite and Eternal. There is no time. We exist, yet time does not. There are no clocks ticking. There is timelessness, and We are located in spacelessness. Our hearts beat as One. We are One. I am One with you, and you are One with Me. And so the world turns, and so We love. We are love and naught but love.

You are here on Earth to grow in love, and so you grow. You can only grow. Never mind how you may feel today or tomorrow. You are growing in love. You are My representative of love, and so you represent, and so you are.

The Art of Worry

God said: Listen to Me. There is nothing to worry about. You can stop worrying right now. Half the time, you don’t even know what you are worrying about. You feel something unidentifiable hanging over you, and you worry about a vagueness. Worry assails you. And if you did not worry, you might worry about not worrying. What is worry all about anyway?

Worry has been such a hanger-on with you. You don’t know how to deal with its consultations and the anxiety it stirs within you. Be done with anxiety. What would you have to worry about then?

Worry with a focus also preoccupies you, as though worry is a safety measure that will offer you dispensation from cause for worry, and so you worry without cause. You can always scrimmage around for a worry.

Let’s face it. You have become expert at worry. You have become a professional worrier. Be less practiced in the art of worry. Be a novice. Better yet, don’t worry at all.

Worry holds you back. You teeter and totter with worry. You abuse yourself with worry. Worry brings you more and more and better worries. I ask you to desist from worry. You don’t need worry to pass the time. Get out of the worry mode.

If cause for worry befalls, it befalls. You don’t have to nourish it along. You are not here on Earth for the sake of worrying. Rather, you are here for a purpose that goes far beyond the reach of worry.

You have some settling down to do. Learn the art of being worry-free. Worry is a diversion. Worry takes you away from living. It keeps you on the verge of danger. Worry itself is a dangerous hobby. Worry is up to no good. It doesn’t let you sleep at night. Worry squeezes you tight. Be done with worry. No longer be seduced into it. It takes no skill, unless you consider being captive to worry a skill. Worry gnaws at you the way a mouse might gnaw at a string.

Oh, now, are you going to worry about mice in your house? What is there that you cannot worry about? Endless are your worries with new ones cropping up. Let there be an end to worrying. Be done with it. Abscond from your attachment to worry. Abscond from worry, and live life on another plane of existence. It is time now to desist from worry. Unprong worry from you as you would fingers that grab you. Worries are not real things. Worrying is counter-productive. Worries do not help you at all. Worries crowd you. They jostle you.

The only thing good about worry is when you recognize that they are needless. Then you are relieved. The absence of worry is comforting. Get rid of worry ahead of time. There is no advantage to worry. It is no help to you. Worry aggrandizes itself. Just as you take your boots off before you walk into your house, leave those pesky worries at the door as well. Keep them out. Don’t let them into the living-room of your mind. Why would you?

Worries are barbarians. They are scoundrels. They steal peace of mind from you. They stir up trouble. You have been so afraid of worry that you have let worries barge into your peace and quiet. There is no reason for you to be hospitable to them. Worries are intruders. They crash into your life. You do not have to let them in. Do not throw parties for them. Worries are thieves in the night. Put out a No Entry sign. Get out from under the weight of worries. Be free from them. Honor yourself and your life, and honor Me. Let Me in. Off with worries, in with God. Substitute Me for worries, and watch your life soar. We will go far together, and We will stay close together. Worries are a trifling thing. No longer be swayed by them. Welcome Me into your mind instead.

In fact there are people who think that my stance on this particular subject is just more proof that I, myself am a false prophet. So what exactly is my stance on false prophets? Whose Eyes You Seek

In the world, sometimes when love is proclaimed, it may lose its sparkle. You have longed for the moment of betrothal, and, then, when the moment comes, when your love is proclaimed, a wedding date set, details to take care of, a little of the tinsel of romance may become ordinary. No longer do you feel like you are dancing on the stars. No, you are relegated to ordinariness. You are just an engaged couple now and rather fair game to the crowd. When you wed, rice and flower petals may be thrown at you. You are relegated to Earth and perhaps a performance rather than spontaneity. You would rather dance on the stars than to comply to what is expected of you. It was one thing to smile for joy with the love that welled up in you, and another to smile on occasions that call for it. Instead of spontaneity, you may feel ordered by a movie director, for now you come on stage on cue.

You may love your affianced deeply and truly, yet you feel a certain veneer and stiffness of performance as the world watches on the sidelines. You may want to dance a dance you prefer, but feel obliged to dance a dance that is called appropriate. You may feel appropriated. Life in the world gives you certain steps to follow, and you follow. Here, you are smiling away, even when your feet hurt. Society certainly has its influence on you.

When you recognize your love for Me, may you be as you are and not feel restrained. Your devotion to Me is not mandated to be official, yet it is not for very long that you can stay private and quiet. Happiness is hard to contain. Loving Me is happiness, beloveds, even though you yourself are not quite clear on Who and What I AM, and, yet, you know you live with Me and cannot be apart. We cannot be apart.

Soon enough, I press My foot lightly on the hem of your gown. You stop and feel the strength of My love. You cannot elude My love any longer. My love is simply too much for you. You are swept into My Arms of Love, and there is nowhere else you can be. There is nowhere else you can be equal to My love. Once taken by My love, you rise to My love. There is no departure.

Oh, perhaps there is a scant thought of wanting to return to your carefree ordinary life where you flitted around here and there and acted out that you were happy. Until you came into My arms, you didn’t know the yield of happiness you could hold, and yet you may long to have that old smattering back just once more. It was familiar. Like a dress that was once your favorite of all, you would like to try it on again. If you could try it on, you would find out that it no longer fits, and it can no longer be made to fit. It will never fit you again.

It is not that the color of the dress has faded. No, it is you who has brightened. Once your eyes have alighted on the Face of God, where else can your eyes look from now on? What else can pull your attention? What else can sweep you off your feet? What other face might you ever want to read? What other eyes could you immerse yourself in?

On some matters, you have no choice. Once you have seen Me, once you have seen My adoration of you, once you have seen My eyes looking into yours, it is My eyes you seek forevermore.

God said:

Beloveds, I never created you to be a shrinking violet. When you are a shrinking violet, you are being exclusive. There is a certain ego-centeredness in being timid as though you are more modest than almost everyone else in the world, as if timid becomes a benefit of some kind.

Come forth from your clam shell. Who are you not to share? Who are you to belong to a higher secret sorority or fraternity that whispers and stays covered? It is unfriendly of you to back away. In one sense, you are saying:

“World, it is for you to come to me. You have to go out of your way to come to me. I am a rare treat, and I have to be your discovery. Let’s see if the world can find me as I hide under a mushroom. I am a shrinking violet or a queenly rose. I do not intend to imply that I am too good for ordinary mortals. This is just how I am. Unless you ask me to dance, I will continue being a wallflower.”

This is not a banner life, this, to be swathed in exclusivity, beloveds. If you have something to offer the world, give it. Come down from your sequestered aerie and enter the human race. You have all the rights and privileges of all My children. You know about Oneness. You are a Divine Mortal, and so is everyone else. Even if you may be thinking that everyone else is better than you, wiser than you, more beautiful than you, you are doing a disservice to be reticent. Fly under your own colors, beloved.

I created you. You may be sure I did not create you to be self-effacing. If you are to represent Me, represent Me. I am not asking you to be a great hand-shaker. I am asking you to be vulnerable. If it is vulnerable to express yourself and be shot down, express yourself. If someone asks you what you think of something, go ahead and say what you think. You are not to choose to be upstaged, dear ones. You are not fighting for attention. You are not taking over. You are letting yourself be seen. As you acquaint the world at large with your presence, you are leading a parade that will come out of all their self-enforced limits. Revealing yourself can be done. There is no virtue in hiding yourself, not from the world, nor from your individual self. When you came to Earth, you did not come with an edict to be reticent, to hold back, to be a shy visitor to Earth.

Certainly, there is value in Silence. There is also virtue in speaking up.

Perhaps you are protecting yourself. If you do not express yourself, no one can declaim against what you say. When you do not express yourself in the first place, no one can tell you to be quiet. How safe it is to sequester yourself? I suggest you reveal yourself. You can be modest and still shine. No one is asking you to be immodest. Let your picture be taken. Strew yourself across the Universe.

I ask you to be My Messenger of Love. Yes, of course, you can send love silently. What would happen if you did more than minimum? What would be wrong with medium or even maximum?

I have to ask you what you are waiting for.

I have asked you to stay out of the past. I have never asked you to stay out of the present. I never asked you to be a bump on a log. I have never asked you to be retiring. When have I not asked you to shine My light so that all the world may see?

God said:

Just as there is no end to life, there is no end to you. There is only the present, and this means that you are in process. Something that happens on Earth may leave you feeling bereft, as if your life is at an end, all over, the meaning of your life all over, and yet you are not at the end of your life. Life does not stay the same, yet life doesn’t vanquish you.

Because something in life is against your will does not mean that you have failed. Because you go bankrupt, doesn’t mean you have failed. It means you have moved on. And if it is your heart that has gone bankrupt, you have not failed. You have just turned down a different road.

Sense of failure is a hardship that you add to your life on Earth. You cannot fail. That something important to you in your life goes kaput, does not mean you have failed. Beloveds, you are never kicked out of the Kingdom of Heaven. It may seem so to you because the world doesn’t hand you what you want, or it takes away what it has given. You are an illusionist. You make something of life that isn’t there. You read more into it than there is. It is only life.

I do not make light of your feelings at any given moment. I do not say that whatever you are going through is nothing at all. When you go through a desert, I recognize that you are thirsty. When you go through a jungle, I recognize the humidity that encompasses you. This is what I am trying to say. A desert is. A jungle is. You are not the desert. You are not the jungle. They are not you. I say that you make too much of deserts and jungles. You make too much of them because you are attached.

You have greater to rely on than your circumstances. If someone lets you down, if someone is unkind, that is his problem, not yours.

“Whoa,” you say to Me, “Whoa! I’m the one who is hurting.”

I am saying that you have to get on a different train of thought. I am saying, if someone has stolen your diamond, what the theft means to you is what the theft means to you. You are you with or without your diamond. If someone steals your heart and then abandons you, no one has broken your heart. You have broken your own heart.

I am saying that you are your own responsibility. What you see as tragedy comes down to another junction in your life. If the sweetness of love is over, you are at a turning-point. And, so, now you turn in another direction. Of necessity, you must lift yourself higher. You gain, even if imposed by force, a new way for your thoughts to travel.

No matter what has happened or not happened, you have drawn conclusions about it. You made something of it. You told yourself a story, and you wrote the ending as despair.

Now write a beginning where you are no longer captive of your thoughts. New thinking, and you are anew. Free yourself. If a situation in your life is done with, be done with it. Rise from the ashes, beloved. You are your own Sovereign Being. Your life, as it unrolls, is not the extent of you. Look up. Stand up. You do not need to wait for the count of ten and so proclaim yourself as done with. Be your own Rising Star, and rise in the East as a new dawn ever brighter than the one before, ever new, life ever dawning on you.

Self trust can be summed up as the assured reliance on your own character, ability, strength, and truth. This sounds straightforward enough. The problem is, most of us have spent our lives listening to our parents, our government, our teachers and our bosses. We have been raised with the idea that we do not know what is best for ourselves. Instead, we are taught that other people who "know more than we do"; know what is best for us. Because of this, we choose what we think we are supposed to choose. We try to live according to what our society says is "right". We allow ourselves to be who we are told that we are; and we are caught in an endless struggle of seeking approval and reaching for recognition. The result is that we loose trust in ourselves. The cost of shaping ourselves to fit the desires, preferences, and expectations of others, is losing ourselves; and when we loose ourselves we become frozen without direction, unable to make our own choices.

You may well feel that life disturbs you. What really disturbs you is yourself. You believe that you have a fatal flaw or perhaps several fatal flaws. Your appraisal of yourself is off-center. There is a tendency to view yourself as a cast-off rather than as an asset, yet you are, oh so valuable, for you are the Oneness of the Universe. You may say and believe that life on Earth does not live up to your expectations, yet the crux of the matter is that you do not believe in yourself. It is you who disappoints yourself. Wake up. You are a Being. You are God’s Being. You are My Being visiting on Earth.

From your perspective, you don’t know how you got here, what you’re doing here, or how to lift yourself above the world which is often troubled and harried. You don’t know what you really expected, yet you didn’t expect this frailty that you experience, this heaviness of heart when you are disappointed. Interesting, isn’t it, that I Myself do not experience disappointment. I am not at all like a schoolteacher who says to a child: “I am disappointed in you,” for I know without a shadow of a doubt, that you will work your way through the mire, reach the sunshine, and come shining through. This is predetermined. This is a Known. It is a given. You will rise.

You believe in sequence, a matter of time. I believe in timelessness. Quite different. It is not really that I believe in timelessness. I KNOW timelessness. I am a Being of Eternity and Infinity. You don’t quite believe this, that you are also a Being of Light. You may tend to keep thinking that all you are is flesh and bone. I personally know a greater range, even as you, the Image of Me, believe in the temporary as the End-All and Be-All of you. All the while, the temporary is a flash in the pan.

You bet your money on the flimsy. You can’t deny it. This is the Human Condition. You see The Human Condition as a cross to bear when it is really a blessed opportunity to discover the Eternal Truth of you. You are far more than a physical body. Deep down, you know this. Deep down you know you are far greater that your physical body. Deep down you know that Life on Earth is far more than you perceive beyond what you call the Daily Grind.

You live in daily life. You feel moored in the daily in’s and out’s of life as it appears in the world. Nevertheless, there is Infinity, and there is Eternity, and, yet, you feel your physical life is all there is to it. You look around you, and you think: “This is all there is.”

Beloveds, you would not long for the Something More unless it existed. You would not have a hankering for it. You would not feel dismay unless you are missing Something that exists.

You lack belief in yourself. You enter into Life on Earth as if that is all that matters. You even have the expression: “What is the matter?” In your perception, there is always something the matter, and you prove it again and again.

Ask a better question. Ask a bigger question. Get out of the details and enter a Bigger Picture. You are part of the Bigger Picture. Contained within you is Everything, and you are beginning to grasp this. Upon you, the world rests. You are not a dilettante as you may think. You are a visitor, yet you are more, far more, than a mere visitor. You are the Light of the World.

Who What When Where Why?

God said:

Nothing can contain the joy I feel. My joy overflows. Joy meets itself whenever My eyes and My thoughts and My love fall on you, My One Child, My One Self. To say that you are deep in My heart doesn’t say enough, for you are My very heart.

To say that We, you and I, are intertwined does not say enough. There is really no weaving of us. I AM, and that tells the story. It is not totally accurate to say I AM you or to say You are I, even though those are true so far as they go. There is One, and there is no distinguishing you from Me nor distancing Myself from you, yet, of course, We do contrive to do that. We do that all the time, and there is that rascal Time getting in Our way, messing up all Our discourses. Because of fictitious time, what We say incurs this or that, now or then, etc.

The Truth is that there never was a time when there ever was anything but I and I AM. There never was a time when you were even a tiny inch outside. The reducing of All That Is into sections of time, contracting, contrasting Truth and time, making one dependent upon the other when there is truly no need brings up the question When and for what duration, how long or how short. The same goes for the sense of space that consumes you and its question of where. When and Where also bring up sequence and precedent, before or after. You do begin to see that time and space are two ends of the same stick. Even time and space are not separate any more than We are or ever were or ever will be.

Because of time and space, ins and outs rise up, and complication sets in. Complications are not real. Complications are a set-up.

Perhaps ego is a child of time and space, a construct of time and space. Without time and space, how could ego, false as it is, exist, or appear to exist? Time and space gave birth to a clown, a tiny clown that blows itself up to be big. Without the concepts of time and space, where would selfishness come from? Where would all this identity and you and me and mine and yours come from? There is only One of Us.

Only, in the world of time and space, all this ownership creeps in. The idea of space yields to the idea of not enough room in the inn for all. From space comes the idea of displacement. I could go on and on, and I often do. From time and space come the ideas of protection and defense, and protection and defense arise from ownership which is a false fact. Regardless of deeds and liens and contracts in the world, there is no ownership. There is assumed ownership, understood ownership, yet ownership does not have a leg to stand in.

Time and space say differently. They are Jokers in a deck of cards.

The reality of the world is one thing. Reality is another. Much can be seen in hearts in the world, yet the only real is love. All these other manifestations are pure malarkey. They are the Emperor’s clothes washed and hung out to dry. They can even be proven in the physical world, yet how far in space or time does that take us? Nowhere.

Pennies from Heaven

God said:

It is like you have a piggy bank. Every day I drop pennies in for you. We can call these pennies from Heaven. Every day I drop in more than a penny or two for you. You can count on it. You just don’t see the pennies. The pennies are there, yet you don’t see them. I assure you I don’t miss a day. I never forget.

In a day or two, your recognition of the pennies may catch up to you. You begin to see something you hadn’t seen before. We can say that the pennies from Heaven were on their way to you all the time, yet you hadn’t quite put it all together. With better eyesight, beloveds, you would trust in Me more. With better recognition of My Presence, you would see more of your answers, and you would see them sooner. Unless you know a package is coming, you probably won’t look for it. If you know it’s coming, you’ll open the mailbox to check fast!

I have to tell you that you are quick to grab onto what you see as problems. You don’t seem to let them pass you by. Let Me ask you something: Is not the resolution of a difficulty equivalent to a penny in your piggy bank?

Unless there is something you have to resolve, how can there be a resolution for you?

Most everyone has misplaced his wallet every now and then. What panic, what running around looking for your wallet sets in. More times than not, your wallet shows up on its own. It fell here or there. You dropped it here or there and didn’t notice. You put it somewhere, and you forgot. The odds are in your favor that your wallet will show up. Even in that practical way, what you see as difficult is preparing something nice for you.

Peace, My children.

With your awareness of My attention on you, you wouldn’t worry so much as you do. Have confidence in Me, and you will have more confidence in life. Yes, all of your wishes don’t come true, but many are staring you right in the eye and you haven’t quite perceived them as yet. Your solution may well be waiting for you to look around you.

Perhaps you are looking for a ride, and you hesitate to ask. Ask. I will tell you that all you require is right before you. If not right this minute, then sooner or later. You have to remember that I have prepared all good for you.

Dear Ones, even the difficulties you see hold their blessings for you. It takes a while before you see this. Yes, beloveds, everything. Remember that you yourself are a blessing.

Even if what you face is your beloved one’s having moved on from Earth, your difficulty is not that your loved one’s body died. Your difficulty lies in your aching and mourning for your loved one, beloveds. This, that which is called death, you see as loss, and you see it as heartache. All the while, there is more for you to see than a loved one stolen from you.

I do not say that this is a cinch for you. I do say that when you lift your eyes, there is healing for you and a getting beyond and a place for you in the Universe, and a place for you to see from a different vantage, and a place for you to bless others. I commend you. Look at the blessings at hand, and, if the blessings are not yet in hand, they will soon be in hand. They are on their way to you. Keep your eyes open for all those pennies from Heaven.

If You Have a River to Cross, Cross It

Continuing with yesterday’s theme, it may be that what you are asking for advice comes down to is that you are asking for permission to live your life. You want sanction. Is this how it is for you? Is it? Are you looking for permission and approbation? Do you want a pat on the head more than anything else? What does outside approval amount to, beloveds? There may not be enough approval in the world to fill your heart to overflowing enough.

Beloveds, I have to ask you, why would you need permission to live your God-given life? You have been given life, and along with life, you have a lifetime permission, a guarantee that this is your life, and you are to live it as best you know how, to learn how, and grow in consciousness in the world and to be the best blessing you can be at any particular moment. Nowhere does it say that every choice you make must absolutely be the best possible choice in all the world. Nor, of course, does your birthright include a license to disregard the choices you make as if you are not responsible.

Right now, in the soap opera you live in, you have one life to live.

Of course, you do the best you can, and life is lived now, and you have choices to make. All the choices you have to make are not all foregone conclusions. And all your choices are not easy, yet nor are all your choices difficult either. There is a difference between making the best of life, as if it were a dreary assignment, and living life as best you can in the moment that you are living it. You are always living your life. As you read My words, you are living your life.

In life, you are not getting a Ph.D. You are not taking a college course called Living Life. In life, you learn. Life itself is the course of study, and life itself is the oral exam. You are the learner.

I say it again:

Life cannot be lived on the level of the intellect alone. It cannot. You fool yourself if you think it can. Life is lived on the level of the heart. Certainly, you do learn from life. You learn a lot. Where did the idea come about that logic must rule your life? There is much that logic might prescribe that does not contribute to your life or the warmth of the world.

Selfishness could have been a result of logic. “I have enough to do to look after myself. There is not enough for all. I’d better make sure I get my share.” That seems to add up, yet it does not add up. The premise does not add up.

Life is bigger than logic. Logic does not inspire. Logic does not make heroes. Nor is becoming a hero to the world your object. Look, it comes down to this: Your life is for your One Self. Your life is your gift to the world. Oneness does not mean one-sided.

We are not speaking of a sentimental heart that gets all cozy. Do you understand Me? I tell you that life is bigger than the details of it, and yet details add up. Nor are you to ask yourself too many questions and make so many arguments to and fro.

If you have a river to cross, you cross it. You see the other side of the river. You are going to swim to the other side, or you are going to wade across the river, or you are going to ride in a boat. You see what is at your disposal, and you go ahead. There is another side of the river that you are getting to. Make a choice. When you get to the other side, keep going from there. Take it from there, and move on. You will find Me.

Beloved beloveds, you are not the advisor to the Crown. On one hand, you and I are One. You are a reflection of Me, and, now, on the other hand, I tell you that you are not to make yourself a replica of God. In your costume as a Human Being, it is not your role to interpret Me to others. I did not appoint you. You are not the sayer of Me. The world is not your flock. In this sense, you are a member of the flock.

Erase the idea that you are My appointed Teacher, for then you presume to stand above another. I am the Teacher. Unless someone comes into your presence for the purpose of hearing what you have to say, don’t take on My robes. It is not for you to say that you know more than the person before you. It is not for you to embellish My words or for you to make the assumption that anyone needs your personal instruction. Be still.

If you, as an individual, crave a pulpit, crave an audience, crave to be wise, recognize that you do not always speak for Me. I speak for Myself.

If you want to teach, teach by example. Do not anoint yourself as an instructor, as though you have the final word. Know thyself. Teach thyself. Everyone learns Me for himself. Quote Me, fine. Support Me, fine. Speak of Me, fine. Bequeath Me, fine. Yet do not you, as an individual, take it upon yourself to teach Me to others as though you speak from on high. Be still.

The Great Spiritual Ones were humble, and so must you be and not carry an authority of All-Knowingness. What you see, not everyone has to see. What you like, not everyone has to like. Do not think you are meant to be a great explicator of Me. You are the Listener to the Crown. As an individual, you do not take over interpreting Me to the world. Frankly, the world needs Me for themselves, and not your instruction. I am available.

How do I teach? Through the human heart. The human heart isn’t a Know-It-All. Your human heart is not anyone’s Lord and Master. Allow others’ hearts to listen to Me for themselves. My children are not your children who are to sit and listen to your every word as though you are God Almighty and they, as supplicants, must learn from you. No one needs your teaching. You are not to appoint yourself Teacher. Every thought from you is not the same as My thought. Every word from you is not the same as My Word. In the world, you are on a different footing. Take Me seriously, yet do not take yourself so seriously.

I am speaking now of those who might take it on their own to be a stand-in for Me as if the world is to hang on to their every word. I am not an excuse for anyone to aggrandize himself. You do not have underlings. You do not take prisoners thinking you do so on My authority.

Does everyone in the marketplace have to know what you think? Is it your place to tell others what they are to think? For whose need is it that you comment?

Be wary of inserting yourself as an editor for Me. Do not put false gods before Me. Your voice is not always My Voice. Let not your name be vanity. Be still.

In Life, You Have Choices to Make

God said:

Lessons, knowledge, habits, do not hammer them into yourself. You are not a piece of wood that is to be hammered into. Learn at your pace. Let life take you gently by the hand.

When you go swimming at the beach, you do not have to be dunked in the water. Swim and enjoy.

Live life, learn, and enjoy. Beloveds, there is no emergency. There is no purpose in demanding too much of yourself.

You can be leisurely in life, well, depending upon your definition of leisurely. When you go to work, work. The point I want to make is that urgency or desperation don’t belong to you. Neither holds you in good standing. Be easy with everything. You don’t have to be obstinate or resistant anymore than you have to be all-embracing.

If you are a child in school, and you are obliged to learn something that is not meaningful to you, go ahead and learn it, yet know this is not really an emergency. In this case, it is something the world makes you pay attention to. It’s not worth fighting it. So just do it, and know that your life doesn’t depend upon it. Count your causes.

It is not for you to be adamant about life. You don’t have to take a stand on every matter. You do not lose your integrity by getting something done and out of the way.

Maybe you are the mother, and you don’t like doing the dishes. Okay, don’t like doing the dishes, but get them done as you go along. Take washing dishes in your stride. Don’t make doing dishes an issue. Doing dishes is a way of life in the world.

Maybe you don’t like getting up in the morning, yet getting up in the morning is a part of life. It does not have to be arduous to get up, even when you are getting up in the dark. It would be lovely if you had to get up only when the sun came up. However, life in the world at present may well not accommodate this idea. Very often, beloveds, it is for you to accommodate to life. Not everything is worth fighting. You don’t have to dig a hole for yourself in the interests of self-authentication.

Ah, now, there can be something that is false to yourself. Know when it is, and don’t be false to yourself. There is a line beyond which you cannot go. You don’t have to break the law. Even under duress, you don’t have to. You don’t have to prove anything. Fighting everything does not you a fighter make. It might make you a squabbler.

You don’t always have to give in to life, and you don’t always have to push back. You do have choices, and choices are for you to decide. A firefighter who fights fires doesn’t fight everything in life.

Nor am I saying that you must always compromise, as if you are to sell yourself short. If your wife wants to eat in a certain restaurant, what do you give up by going to the restaurant of your wife’s choice?

Everything in life may be much more simple than you may see at a particular moment. Has this not happened to you? Later, after the fact, you wonder what all the fuss was about.

We are not talking about winning a hand, beloveds, nor are We talking about playing a losing hand. Let Us be talking about being equitable in life, as if we were on a seesaw, and it is the same really whether you are up or down. What difference does it make? All aboard in life! What do you want your life to be consumed with? What is important and what isn’t important? What might you change, and what might you keep the same? Your reaction to life does not have to be automatic, beloveds. You simply have choices to make.

For those whose lives seem like a string of heartbreaks, one after the other, so unkind, so heartbreaking, you know by now, darlings, that heartbreak is something you conclude. You’ve heard about heartache. You’ve read poems about it, and you’ve experienced this reputed heartbreak time after time. It is your experience. I don’t doubt that for one minute. I’ve wiped your tears. I’ve held My hand over your heart.

Your heart was hurt. It seemed to break in two. You expressed your disappointment as heartbreak. Does not all heartbreak come down to disappointment, and you call your own disappointment as a foul play made against you? Whatever the heartbreak, it seems to you that someone did it, or nature did it, or God did it, and it was wrong. You conclude it was wrong, even when it may well have been inevitable. You lost a bet, beloveds. The bet you made you were certain was a sure thing. You convinced yourself that life would stay frozen in place because you wanted it to. You, disappointed as you have been, time after time, called the shots.

You are the one who names an occurrence or lack of occurrence as uncalled for, unfair, outrageous, cruel, demeaning, impossible to have occurred and you decided that you have been left in the lurch, in some kind of lurch.

No physical heart breaks until, perhaps, at what you call the moment of death. If your heart is beating now, it was never broken in two or anything at all like that. Of course, your heart may have paused at all the information you sent to it. Your interpretation of tragedy and sorrow become so great that you metaphorically conclude that your heart is broken, and you take the metaphor as true, as fact -- and there is an element of truth within metaphors that you can always find to make. It is you who breaks your own heart in two. No one else does. No one else can. You are the decider of the condition of your heart. You tell a tale to your heart, and your heart is always true to you, do you understand? Your heart repeats after you.

Your eyes may be swollen. You may make an ocean of tears. With each streaming tear, you carry the image of your heart cut in two. It is you who holds the image. Therefore, you are the imager. You define your heart. The tell-tale heart, obedient to you, aches. Your thoughts pinch your heart. It is as if you tell your heart:

“My loved one died. Bow down, Heart, and show your deference, your respect, your honor of my loss. And if my loved one loved someone else and left of her own accord, bow down some more. In any case, when life does not go the way I say it must, Heart, you and I have been betrayed. We are the downtrodden, and we must play the part of downtrodden well.”

You are the one who tells your heart how to beat and what performance to give. It is you who tells your heart to be downtrodden. Without your insistence on heartbreak, your heart would know only elation. What could a heart connected to Mine be but elated unless instructed otherwise by your insistence? You may say you have no jurisdiction over your heart yet, it would seem, you are telling it what to make of what has occurred. It might be possible to say that you beat up your heart, actually, that you beat it down. It may even be that you don’t love your heart as much as you have believed you do. Beloveds, have a heart when it comes to your own heart. Send it encouraging messages.

It is you who makes a decision that your place in life right now is a heartbreak or a blessing. Anyway, get up. Shake your curls. Stop pursing your lips in objection. Lose that hangdog expression. Get some life into your step, and let go of the past and look up at the stars that wink at you.

Out of this world! The world you live in is out of this world! You stand in light, and light is your whole story. You may be unaware of the light, the extent of the light, yet you are light shining, and so you shine, and so life is, and you are – WE ARE.

How are you today? You are light. What are you doing today? You are lighting up the firmament. You, who are True Light, light up a firmament that reflects your light. How blessed is light, and how blessed the light you shine. Even when you feel absorbed by darkness, you are shining light. There is no turning your light off. Your light shines. Shine your light! This is what you do anyway. This is all that you are capable of. This is what you do. Light lights. You light up, and you are light. You are My Light. This is the long and the short of it.

Holy is your light. Your purpose here on supposed Earth, this beautiful supposed Earth, is to shine your light. It is not a casual statement to say that you are the Light of World. There is nothing else you can be. You are much more than a glimmer of light. You are light. Hail to the light that My children shine. Self-absorbed in daily life, you may well be unknown to yourself. What a party you attend. What a gala you participate in. You are the light that shines in My eyes. Holy is Our Alliance.

On one level of vision, you are dust to dust. On the true level of life, you are Light to Light, and your light burns brightly.

I beam the light you shine, and I beam in your light. Light surrounds Us. Light envelops Us, the One of Us. We are an esplanade of light. We shimmer, and We shine. We bask in the light of Our Own Making. Is this not a wonderful tale I tell? I tell you that all is a tale. Only the Light is True. Only the Silence of Light is True. You are True Light, beloveds. You are more than surface appearance. You are the bending and unbending of light on Earth.

I dreamed of you, and yet you are real. You are Reality. You are the playing out of Light. Shine your light brightly. Shining your light brightly is the order of the day. This is the display of your day. You are an Announcer of the Light That Is. You are the Twirler of it. You are light, and all is light, and never is light not. Never are you not. Always you are. You are steeped in light and nothing but light. And the light you light up is love, simple pure light that lights itself.

What a wonder is My Creation and everything held within, for My sole Creation is light and nothing but light. Light Is. We are light regardless of all the suppositions you hold. And holy is Our light. Holy is the Light of Life on Earth. It was never not lit, you understand. Light is all there is. Light has never been not. You are the Shining Glory of Light just as you are. You are always lit. Our light is intermingled. All is enshrined in light. More than that, everything is light, and that is all there is to it. So shine, beloveds. Shine so that all may see.

The True State of Love

When anything weighs heavily on your heart, you may think the weight is about love. A loved one ditched you, in life or by death, and your heart is heavy. Yes, of course, you miss the loved one, and, yet, basically, your question is:

“How could you leave me?” Or, “How could God allow this to happen?”

No matter how much you loved your loved one, it is not love that asks these questions. It is not love that feels bereft. Love doesn’t get thrown for a loop when a loved one leaves. There is more going on here.

Attachment, of course, sense of loss, a sense of helplessness are going on. Feelings of attachment, loss, helplessness are not love. You feel lost. You feel that love has been lost, by will or by chance or for any reason or no reason all, and you are put out.

The physical presence may be gone, yet love is not lost. Whether you are the object of the other’s love or not, love had its day in the sunshine. I do not make little of your heartache, yet you make too much of it, as though a crime has been done, a wrongful act, a grievous error, an impossibility. Well, it is impossible for love to go away. If you had a love, you have the love still. Where have you put it?

In the case of a romance, too often the love in your heart, so long as it is requited, reigns, yet how quickly the love in your heart may turn to resentment when unrequited. This is not love at all. You feel hurt, and you may want to hurt. You will do almost anything not to have been rejected, and you may toss rejection back, yet love once given is still yours, and not to be thrown away. Love is a constant. You may not be constant. What matters is not so much what happened. What matters is what you make of the love now.

You may see the love you gave from your heart as love betrayed, and, therefore, your loved one as a betrayer. The loved one withdrew the promise of your relationship. If a loved one leaves by will, she gave what she had to give at the time. The dejection, rejection, and ejection are not about love, beloveds. The other party may no longer favor you above all, and, yet this dreadful deed -- it happened to the other party who is an innocent as you. It happened. Something happened. Something changed, and the other person discovered the change and fled from it, not knowing anything else to do. She is not your possession.

We are not talking about con artists who design to take what they want and then drop you. Yet, in any case, you desired to be loved, and when that was withdrawn, you took it as a fall from grace. Your life and love are not to be dependent upon another’s view.

Love cannot go anywhere but where it is. Love is true whether human hearts are true or not.

The true state of your heart is love, love that does not require an object to fill it. Love is not forlorn all by itself. You may feel forlorn, yet that is your own doing, beloveds. Can I say it enough times? The love in your own heart is your concern. You cannot rule any other heart but your own, and, yet, often My children try to rule another’s heart as if it were their own, as if they were to rule others’ hearts as if they were unruly children.

Love coerced, demanded, insisted upon, forced, obligated to is not love. It’s a kind of usury. Love is not owed. Love is not a payment. Tap your own love, beloveds. Find that place in your heart that is Mine and give it. Give sway to the love in your own heart, and give others leeway. No one is tethered to you. In order to love, one has to be free. Free yourself from attachment.

God said:

Are you beginning to accept that your life on Earth, as important as it is to you, is made of illusion? This illusion of life that you pursue and that pursues you, also has an importance to the Universe itself. Life on Earth is something you dream while you are sleepwalking, and, yet, the very dream serves the Universe. It is a dream circumscribed from Infinity and Eternity. The dream is not real even as it seems so real. When you wake up from the dream, then you know that the dream that seemed so real was only a dream. You watched the dream take over, and then you awoke and saw that what you thought was real was a dream dreamed.

When you wake from the dream, you know you wake up in Eternity, and that you are Infinite. In the dream, you were a piece of the puzzle. Awake, there is no puzzle. Beloveds, you are entering a new state of consciousness. Little by little, you are entering a new state of consciousness.

You used to walk on land, and now it is becoming more like you are swimming in water. What is happening is that you turn over in your sleep, and for a moment, you are awake, and then you fall asleep again. It seems infinitesimal, your dream, when all along, dream or not, you are in Infinity. You are a dream within a dream within a dream. Yes, you do wake from layers of dreaming, and you know Reality full-throttle.

There are all kinds of dreams, and you dream them all. You dream the beautiful dreams, and you dream the scary ones. The dreams certainly seem real. You tremble when you are chased and cannot yet unlock the door of fear. You smile or cry for joy at sweet dreams of unsurpassed beauty and fulfillment. You do swing upon stars, and you surpass all pictures of yourself, and you are art. What a dream you dream in the world. Sometimes your dream can be so splendid, you don’t want to wake from such wonderfulness.

Of course, when you wake, the dream recedes. It was only a dream. Now you find that Reality surpasses the dreams. The very best dreams were only a drop in the bucket. For goodness sakes, you wake to Infinity and know your Eternalness. Infinite, eternal, exquisite is Reality.

There never was anything else but Truth. Now you fly, and now you know Truth in all its glory. You have risen in awareness. You are Eternity. You are Infinity. You have never been anything else. You thought so. Yet a thought is only a thought. You can forget your thoughts and remember Truth. Truth is the climate you live in. Truth has no distance. Truth awaits you even as you and Truth never went anywhere. For a while, you imagined so. And, so, you dreamt. And in the dream you thought you were somewhere where you were not.

Your dream was like a tree with many branches, and you hung onto the limbs. You were afraid of branches breaking. You were afraid of falling. You thought you had fallen from grace. You dreamed that Heaven was in the distance, distant past or distant future, or you thought Heaven was the dream and Heaven was never going to be yours, or that Heaven Itself was untrue. You sure mixed up your why’s and wherefore’s. And you sure tried to solve your manufactured dilemmas. You so wanted to return to what you persuaded yourself was a fantasy, when Heaven was true all the time and you were with God even in your scary dreams.

I see you are waking up now. Just a little more sleep, and then you will be fully awake. You will see Me holding your hand as I say: “Wake up, beloveds. Time to wake up.”

Breaking Through Time and Space

God said:

Today let Us speak of love. In Truth, what else is there worth speaking of? What else is true? What else unites the way even talking about love does?

Would you have Us talk about troubles, woe, heartache? All those are ephemeral. Love alone breaks through the boundaries of time and space. Love is love, and love throbs in your heart. What are troubles, woe, heartache but fluctuations, whereas love is across the board.

Sometimes you imagine that love has gone missing. There has been a magic trick perpetuated upon you, and you think the magic trick is real. Only one thing is real, and that is love. What is Oneness but love? Love is beyond loving your neighbor as yourself. Love is loving yourself. Once you love yourself, all the gears of the world shift. Love is the oil you anoint everything with. It is for you to anoint the world with love and nothing but love.

Love is evidenced in many ways. When you pick a flower, this is love. When you pick up litter from the street, this is also love. When you look up at the sky, this is love. When you feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, this is love. Love is two-ways, received and given. This is how love is. At the same time, love is not dependent upon being received. We can say that love can only be given. This is enough. Just allow your love to be, and it is given.

Love is not a charade. Everything but love is illusion. Love is the only real. It is the only matter of count. It is the only true. Everything else is fallacy.

Love resides in every heart. Love may seem blocked, locked shut, out of sight, exiled, overthrown, countermanded. Just the same, love has you in its grasp. I am love, beloveds, and what I am, you are. Stay with your nature. Don’t go against it. Fall into the arms of love. The arms of love are yours. Embrace. That’s all you have to do.

What about hate, you might ask. Hate is love hammered with a mallet, crushed, made flat, cornered. Hate, which you have felt at one time or another, is love hampered, confined, squeezed. It is love twisted, and, yet, it is love nevertheless, love with the life squeezed out of it, so it seems. Even so, gold, painted black, is still gold. Love can lift its head again.

If you committed murder, you fought love so much that you turned love into hate and believed in hate. In the act of murder, you tried to kill your hate once and for all. You painted your intensity of hate onto another. You tried so hard to kill your hate, you affixed it on another.

Somewhere within you, you had the idea that if you killed someone who had offended you or someone you didn’t even know, you would kill your hate. That is what you were trying to do.

You may have also, on the surface, tried to prove your hate and prove that it was more powerful than love. You wanted to prove hate over love. You wanted to prove to yourself that you were justified not to love. You haven’t succeeded yet. No matter how you try, you will not succeed in proving that hate is merited, and love is not. You can never succeed in this. Ultimately, you will open your eyes.

When you injure anyone, you injure yourself. What a silly thing to do. There is no good reason to evidence hate. There is no reason to at all. Love is mightier. You will come to know this. No matter what you do, you cannot refute love. Love alone is, and you, whatever you think, are love. You are love.
