I have the privilege to go to Haiti over Spring Break with a mission’s team from my Church. We will be working at an orphanage in Port de Paix – which is on the North West side of the island.

To help raise money for the the trip, I am offering to produce, edit and publish a 2 minute video to help promote your ministry or event. I am asking for a donation of $200 (only $100 now!) for each video. It’s a win-win. What do I get?
You will receive one 2 minute HD (1080P) video that promotes your ministry or event. It can be in any format you choose and can be delivered either online or by DVD in the mail.

Why should I use video to promote stuff?
Video is one of the most effective forms of communication. People remember video. It’s now more accessible than ever – iPads, phones, Facebook, Etc. It shows you are serious about your event / ministry. It’s easily shared with others and has the potential to reach more people than print or spoken word. One YouTube video recently passed 1 Billion views!

What footage will be used?
You will have Three options to choose from.

1. Your own personal footage / talent – footage you shoot and then upload to “The Cloud” and allow me to download to use in your video.
2. Stock / B-roll – this will be generic footage I will find that will enhance, what is being promoted.
3. Custom Talent – footage that I shoot of an “actor” using a script that you choose for your event.

How long will it take to get the finished product?
That will depend on your deadlines. But usually two – three weeks from first contact. Videos will be delivered in the order they are ordered, so if your event is approaching quickly, confirm your order soon.
Please note: My trip to Haiti is March 17 – 24 so some videos might be delivered after my trip is completed, however your donation is not expected until you have received the product and are happy with it.

Yes, I will work with you to make sure you are happy with the finished product.

Will my video have music, if so what kind?
If you want music (which I recommend) yes it will. I will find out what style of video you are looking for and find something suitable.
Please note: I cannot use an original artist’s (i.e. Tomlin, Gaither) song because those songs are copyrighted and take a lot of time and money to get permission to use. The track I use will only be music (no words) and it will be royalty free.

Can I post the video online or make copies on DVD?
Yes, you will have legal rights to distribute the video anywhere you choose:
YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Website, DVD, Etc.

We used a countdown before each service to help people know when the service would begin.

We also used a matching loop during transitions.

Today’s New Worship Resource is TheIncrease.org.

The Increase uses film to share the life stories of athletes who have a desire for Christ to be exalted above their own names. They currently have short films from Lance Berkman (St. Louis Cardinals), Brett Carroll (Washington Nationals), Miles McPherson (former NFL player) and more. They also plan to add more stories and more athletes over time.

This is their purpose:

And I mean low.

They have Countdowns, Powerpoints, Motions, Announcement Slides, Backgrounds, Bulletin Art, and more – over 1000 files and they add new media every week.

Today’s New Worship Resource is not new, but it’s a great resource that you should consider for your Worship ministry.

G3Worship.com is a music publishing company that has been producing music for 12 years. With over 300 songs in their catalog they are sure to have something you will like and can use in your church.

G3Worship specializes in arranging music for Blended and Contemporary Worship. If you are looking to incorporate new worship songs into your worship service or contemporary arrangements of Hymns – G3Worship is a good place to start. Their arrangements are close to original artists recordings and they are set in keys that are congregationally friendly. The arrangements are very doable with just a few rehearsals. They also have quality contemporary hymn arrangements and everything is downloadable.

You can purchase music by Individual Songs, Subscriptions or Worship Paks (which are on sale!).

Individual songs are $2 for the MP3 and $3 for each part (piano, rythm, flute etc.).

Their Worship Pak Subscription is $249. With this you get instant access to 10 fresh arrangements of songs and everything you need to practice and perform those songs. Including: MP3s, Charts, Powerpoints, Rehearsal Tracks, Split Tracks, Instrumentation and much more. With each subscription you also get permission to make as many copies as you need for your Worship Team (exception: if you make copies for choir you must pay $0.50 per copy). Today’s New Worship Resource features two relatively new sites (a quick post so you can get back to work!).

Videezy.com and Vecteezy.com are two sister sites that give away FREE stock videos and FREE vectors (Definition of vectors).

The stock footage can be used for Sermon Series, B-Roll, Motion Backgrounds and more.

The vectors can be used for Graphics, Backgrounds, Announcements and more.

Both of these sites have their stock nicely organized into categories and they have good search functions, so you can find what you’re looking for quickly.

If you’ve been planning worship for very long, you know that you rarely ever sing a song in the same key an artist records it in. Most original songs are just too high for the average church attender to be able sing comfortably. You also know that it is helpful for your band and vocalists to hear and practice the song in the key they will be playing it in.
