Ann Valerie Hash Fall 2012/13 Continued + Morning fix. . . 9th March

Remember I said my photos from the Ann Valerie Hash show weren't up to standard, well here they are to prove what I meant. The catwalk basically worked in two rooms, divided by shutters down the centre. The models walked round 'a square like' catwalk to the surrounding audience, not sure if I explained that very well, but hopefully you will get what I mean from the pictures and video. Unfortunately, where I was standing was a really awkward position, as 1. taller people were in front of me and 2. the models went round in one direction, a direction at which there back was to me when I had my opportune viewing point - typical!

Mint green!! - see my obsession is stylish as well and on trend, this is a better picture of what the model was wearing.

Sheer fabrics, hints of metallic overtones and cream shoes - oh please stop teasing me.

Multi -tones, layering and textures, it's all happening in this collection - what are you starting to think of it?

I don't know why, but it isn't letting me upload the video I took from this show, which is just brilliant, but don't worry I found another video on Youtube and I have to say it is better than mine, so that's lucky for you I suppose.

Seen the video? Think back or rewind if you want to the point where the models walks through the doors, to the left are more of the audience, I was there. . . Imagine if I was on the video, how cool would have that been - maybe next time.

Ann Valerie Hash - Ready To Wear Fall 2012

I was lucky enough to be in the audience of this show - Ann Valerie Hash Fall 2012. Set in the surroundings of a lavish Parisian hotel, the models strutted their stuff down the catwalk. I'm guessing you won't be able to see me in the audience, considering some very tall female was stood right in front of me, with her stupid Iphone taking countless pictures. Unfortunately my pictures were not to the same quality as the ones above, so we thank NowFashion for these lovely ones.

Contrasting fabrics, sleek jackets and metallic tones were the back-drop to this collection. Tomorrow I will try and upload the video I took from this show, then you will understand how ANNOYING this woman was.

Hey dolls, I hope you all had a great weekend. I am back in Southampton now and back to my usual blogging routine for the next three days, because I am leaving to go to Paris Thursday morning. I am literally SO excited I can not tell you. I guess you already knew that considering I have been posting about it for the past few weeks now, but it's finally here!

I love this dress, mini-maxi dresses seem to be worn all the time now a-days and look so good either as a casual day time outfit or dressed up for the night, this black one certainly could be done either way. I like her simple accessories and ankle boots, what do you think?

Mint green, need I say more - slight obsession at the moment. It is almost as great as my love for Jeffery Campbell Lita shoes - GORGEOUS

Kind of a vintage chic, cropped trousers have been featured heavily on the runway, they are hard to pull off, especially if you're short like me, but something worth trying.

Nice up-do, cute skirt, embellished shirt - could you want much more, lovely look.

Hey dolls, sorry about the lack of post today. I am currently in Bristol with one of my best friends (the one I saw in London the other week) and we are about to getting ready to go for a night out on the town. The journey wasn't great, travelling via train at rush hour is always stressful, but I did manage to get here safely, if not somewhat late.

Hey dolls, how are we all this morning? So, I have had two lectures already and I am now in the library about to press on with work. I want to work don't get me wrong, I have loads of deadlines coming up and projects to be finished, but my mind keeps wandering to Paris. What should I wear, where exactly will I be going, what shows will be my favourite? - I'M SOOOOOO EXCITED!!! I wish I could take you all with me because I know I won't be able to show you everything I see, which is a massive shame! However, I will be doing outfit posts, showing you loads of photographs and hopefully even making a few little videos with my friends who are also going on the trip. If you want to see anything in particular, just let me know, drop me a line, you know how we do it!

In light of Paris, I have been looking at different aesthetics, this does also counts as research for university (or I at least tell myself it does), to see if I can create some stand-outish outfits for the trip. I mean I do want to look good out there. Any suggestions on what I should wear - PLEASE HELP!

I know I said I was pale, but I'm really not that pale. Doing my makeup to that extreme probably would look ridiculous on myself, but how good does she look!?! I am loving the bright pink lipstick, I have a very similar colour myself by Barry M, you definitely have to put vaseline on as a base though, because 1. it stains your lips if you don't and 2. it dries them out heavily. Great studded jacket!

Doll boutique has a great range of clothing and shoes just like these, especially in range of Jeffery Campbell, however, items are selling fast and a lot is already out of stock! I really do want a pair of shoes for my birthday, so let's hope they come back in to stock very soon.

Hey girl hey, you look rather cool in your leopard print blazer and John Lennon glasses, if only I had the guts to pull of this type of look. She's striking and definitely makes an impression, but it is a hard look to pull off.

This type of aesthetic is more me and I think I will be trying to adapt this style to suit me, what do you think?

I know it isn't really the morning, but I haven't done my morning fix for today, so it's going to have to be now: 14:11 . . and what, I'm sure you'll all get over it. This type of creeper style shoes is everywhere at the moment, I don't know what to think - do I or do I not like it, help me decide. Jeffery Campbell has some great takes on the style though, so I recommend you go have a look there.

This aesthetic is so cute, full of key seasonal trends - Pastels being the main component. Here are a few items I thought you could get to try and recreate this look:

Floral Doc Martins - not usually a fan of Doc Martin's, but they are really growing on my and you can make them look really cool.

Morning fix . . . 17th February

Typing February always baffles me, it just looks like it is spelt wrong. . . does anyone agree with me on that?

This morning, I got up early for once as, I had to be in university for a camera induction. Let's not forgot I did take A level photography, so I do know how to switch a camera on, the basic settings and how to transfer my pictures from SD card to computer - that's two hours of my life I will never get back, but I suppose you've just got to do it.

I have so many other things to press on with today, a list of things to do as long as my arm, but I thought I would do a little post before I start my fun filled day (it's packed with work and and more work, well let's not forget the cleaning, as my mother is coming to visit - so obviously not that fun - Hi mummy, seen as though she reads my blog).

I love these looks . . .

If only it was warm enough to wear those sandals, loving the mustard tones though - I can see this trend continuing for years to come.

A fairly simple combination, but it works really well - similar colour palate embellished with statement jewellery - AMAZING.

Another simple outfit that works really well, those baby blue nails are really cute - note to self, I must stop bitting my nails to be able to paint my nails like that.

Mint green, afrocentric inspired scarf, pleats and a leather jacket - all my favourite things in one.

I am going to have to buy myself a pair of Vans, unless any of you want to buy them for me? - Just thought I'd ask.
