Hello Lauren

2024-08-02T04:23:00.000-07:00

Guess who descended from someone who owned hundreds of White Irish slaves?

Kamala's mother, Shyamala Gopalan, is full Indian & her father, Donald Jasper Harris was born in Brown's Town, Jamaica. Kamala's ancestors aren't at all African-American. Kamala's father's (Donald's) parents were: Oscar Joseph Harris and Beryl Christie Finegan.

https://gw.geneanet.org/marycummins?lang=en&n=harris&p=oscar+joseph

Her grandfather, Oscar, his parents were, Joseph Alexander Harris & Christiana Brown. Christiana, Kamala's great grandmother, who went by Chrisy, was the descendant of Hamilton Brown (he was Chrisy's grandfather)

https://gw.geneanet.org/marycummins?lang=en&n=brown&p=christiana+chrishy

https://gw.geneanet.org/marycummins?lang=en&n=brown&oc=2&p=hamilton+esq+jr

Hamilton Brown was an Ulster Scot plantation & slave owner & founder of Brown's Town, Jamaica. The plot twist is that the hundreds of slaves Hamilton Brown brought over to Jamaica were White Irish slaves.

Will Kamala pay reparations to the poor White Irish descendants of slaves in Jamaica?
