Gaylene Stewart, Chelsea Mariner & Quest in the Finals

In what hosts Bland and Blander described as a very close result, the singer with a big voice Gaylene Stewart got the most votes on this week's semi-final of New Zealand’s Got Talent. What Miss Prozac would like to know, is just how many people are voting? Was it one vote out of a 1,000 or 10,000?

Magician Andre Vegas did a disappearing act of his own, and was nowhere to be seen in the voters' tally, despite making a busty blonde disappear from a flaming cage. Perhaps the voters didn't warm to his wooden interview after his performance? Such a shame as Miss Prozac was waiting for him to magic up some judge eating lions.

Unsurprisingly a cute krumping kid and 17 yo Chelsea Marriner and her border collie Quest were also popular with voters. Judges Richard Driver and Miriama Smith felt the pressure got to Ruthy Pearce and voted the performing dog and his ever-loving mum into the finals. Paul Ellis shrugged his shoulders and Chelsea and Quest set off for their next Mission Impossible.

They will be joining 6 yo hula hoop princess Americus Wilson and dancer Chaz Cummings.

Brendan Cole’s Bed Hopping Days are Over

Brendan Cole has told the Sunday Mirror his bed-hopping days are over, now he’s snagged girlfriend, model Zoe Hobbs and celebrity dance partner Lisa Snowdon, a former model.

"My mates think I'm the luckiest man alive," he tells me. "They don't know what I've done to deserve one girl, let alone two.

"I spend all day with Lisa Snowdon - then I go home and spend the night with my gorgeous Zoe. All my friends are jealous. And my single mates have been asking me to give Lisa their phone number.

In the article he shares the secrets of dancing with Lisa and describes her body as “firm”. The dancing pair had a recent rift, but it seems that's patched up now. According to a recent interview Brendan's stormy exit had nothing to do with Lisa and he feels bad about upsetting her. He says the pressure of the cameras in his face got to him and he was angry with the BBC producers

I had cameras shoved in my face and the judges were a bit rough with me. I was like ‘don’t say anything’ so I got a little bit tense and I stormed off.

You'd think he'd be used to it after five seasons of Strictly Come Dancing!

Brendan is now saying Lisa is the best celebrity partner he’s ever had. He previously rated Rachel Hunter his best celebrity dance partner. This week Brendan and Lisa are performing the Rhumba - the dance of love.

Craig Revel-Horwood Fake Wedding Immigration Scam?

Strictly Come Dancing and New Zealand Dancing with the Stars judge Craig Revel-Horwood is to be investigated after News of The World alleged that his marriage to Jane Horwood was a sham designed to allow him to gain residency in the United Kingdom. Naughty, naughty!

In his autobiography All Balls and Glitter: My Life Craig says the happy couple split up after he discovered her in bed with a mate. He applied for UK residency after they split stating he was happily married to Jane, but according to NOTW he was living with a gay partner Lloyd. NOTW say they have evidence that Craig hyphen something or other lied to Brit officials

In the second bombshell letter—dated March 16, 1992, seven months AFTER he left Jane—Horwood replies to immigration officials: “My wife and I have been married and living together since our marriage on August 20, 1990. We intend living permanently with each other as husband and wife.

My wife, Jane Horwood, confirms and supports my application and plans to live with me permanently. I have been in full-time employment during this period.”

They have also unearthed evidence that suggests ex-wife Jane was a party to the deceit and the pair planned to divorce as soon as Craig received confirmation of residency, however she denies this saying they were in love when they wed.

The Home Office say they will investigate any alleged fraud. If Craig has misrepresented his marriage there is a chance he may be sent back to convict land, Australia with his makeup, magic knickers and stilettos.

Levi Kereama's Family Deny Oz Idol Star Committed Suicide

Levi Kereama who came sixth in the first series of Australian Idol has been found dead after plunging from a hotel balcony in Brisbane, Australia.

Original reports suggested that Levi was suffering from depression and speculated that he committed suicide, however family members say the 27 year old was not depressed and did not commit suicide. They describe his death as a “tragic accident” saying

"He was a happy, outgoing, lively and loving friend, brother, son, uncle and cousin.
"He loved being with friends, fulfilling his passion of music, and making people laugh. He is remembered as a happy spirit who enjoyed life."

Kereama secured a record contract post-idol and released the album Destiny. He then went on to join family band Lethbridge.

Dominic Bowden Faking It

Dominic Bowden is heading off to LA again to seek fame and fortune. He had some success with his role hosting The Next Great American Band and hopes to score another major presenting role.

Dom has talked before about playing his "trusty blue" clarinet. He told M2 Magazine (October 2008) that he was part of the Aotea Youth Orchestra and travelled with them to Australia and Japan.

I wasn’t the most gifted clarinettist but it was a great experience.

He goes on to say he was third clarinet (first and second are more highly ranked) and that he was just pretending to play.

Yeah, I wasn’t even blowing into it.

Wife Claire Robbie will hope that that’s he’s not faking anything else…

As for the secret to his success? You’d think it would be fake it until you make it, but it seems to be more about taking your chances in life and giving it a go.

Andre Does a Disappearing Act

Tonight on the second semi-final of New Zealand’s Got Talent Richard Driver wrestled Paul Ellis for the Mr Nasty badge, and won in an undefeated knock out round. Miriama Smith showed her vivid imagination saying she went on a journey with each of the competitors. Maybe that’s how she keeps trim?

The youngster of the evening gave the audience a fright when she lost her place in her dance routine, but found her way into the hearts of the public.

All Star Cheerleaders

Miss Prozac was busy having a wine and a natter and forgot to watch this act.

Singer Caleb Jago-Ward

Clearly a talented singer but the 15 yo lacked oomph. When you’re singing a Freddy Mercury song you’ve got to have charisma plus, and Caleb didn’t. Richard Driver agreed saying he was a natural talent but a long shot for the final. Paul Ellis thought he was better with the guitar. Miriama Smith liked him and thought he was growing and astral travelled with him somewhere.

Chelsea Marriner & doggy Quest

This is a copy of Kate and Gin the Dancing Dog on Britain’s Got Talent, right down to using TV theme music (Mission Impossible). Darn cute dog, beautifully trained. Meanwhile Miss Prozac’s dog is in love and has left huge slobber marks on the TV. Miss Prozac had to hide her cellphone after the rotty started running up a huge toll bill.

Richard Driver said they were especially unique. Ummm isn’t there another human dog duo yet to come? Miriama loved that Quest worked the room and called her a show girl. It seems likely the public will love this act.

Strung Out – Musos Chris & Nick

Very talented. An enjoyable version with some added showmanship, but the public are likely to opt for the cute kids. Richard liked the audition better. Miriama liked their “awesome” performance. Paul loved their passion.

Dancer Ruthy Pearce

This little 7 yo krumper is a real go-getter. Her parents are concerned about the pressure but Ruthy is determined to win and has a darn good chance with tons of attitude and rhythm. Unfortunately she had a hiccup. In the middle of her routine she slowed down and was clearly struggling and then she came to a complete stop. The audience held their breath fearing it was all over. You could hear a collective cheer when she got back into it and strutted her stuff. She’s talented, but add in the sympathy vote and this young gun has a good chance of making it to the finals.

This wasn’t as good as her auditions, but is probably good enough to make it to the finals. Ruthy Rocks (or so the T-shirt says).

Pianist Kent Isomura

Kent hopes to inspire people to enjoy classical music. But tonight he played a Gershwin number which always sounds like that horrible music you hear in malls and in bars. Beautifully played with an original interpretation but far too much like restaurant music. He should have chosen music that people know and enjoy or something upbeat. Richard loved it and once again Miriama got taken on a journey. Say goodbye now Kent.

Singer Gaylene Stewart

There’s do doubt this woman can sing, but she needs to head on over to Homai Te Pakipaki. Has she already been on the karaoke show? She looks kind of familiar. Anyway, fantastic singer but she lacks performance quality. She’s a lounge singer and a darn good one, but not a $100,000 talent. Miriama didn’t get far on her journey this time and was “choked up”.

Illusionist Andre Vegas

The pick of the evening is Andre Vegas the illusionist. Andre, who has taken the stage name Vegas, gave us something different tonight with gals in S&M gear, a flaming box, dramatic lifts, spikes and the mysterious disappearance of blondie.

Oh this guy is good. Meanwhile blondie in her silver bikini top joggles down from the audience. Verrrry impressive act but Andre doesn’t appear relaxed in the post-act chatter and Paul Ellis knocks him for not bringing more to the stage. Can he make the judges disappear?

Results tomorrow night.

Hayley Holt & Mark Foster in the Bottom Two on SCD

Hayley Holt and her celebrity partner Mark Foster were in the bottom two this week on UK dance contest Strictly Come Dancing.

After the judges rated their tango they scored 24 out of 40, placing them fourth out of the seven male dancers that performed. But the public didn't support the pair - apparently studly Mark's promise to wear his speedos in the final wasn't enough to entice them to vote - after an average performance and comments that both Mark and Hayley are too laid back. Hayley may be getting a lot of publicity in the papers, but she has yet to win the hearts of the UK public and this may be influencing the vote. Come on Hayley show them your spark and Kiwi tenacity!

Chef Gary Rhodes and professional dancer Karen Hardy were the bottom pair after the judges scored them and were voted into the bottom two by the public.

Each couple danced again for the judges, who voted unanimously to kick Gary Rhodes out of the competition. Craig Revel-Horwood said the decision was a “no brainer”.

TVNZ Fined for Showing Breast Surgery

TVNZ has been fined, after the makers of reality television show Skin Doctors screened a woman’s breasts without her approval.

A school teacher agreed to allow her breast augmentation surgery to be filmed for Skin Doctors, a show that follows people undergoing appearance medicine treatments – anything from Botox to major reconstruction.

The woman thought it was a “tasteful” documentary style show. She agreed to be filmed subject to final approval of the footage before the show went to air. The Broadcasting Standards Authority found that producers Cream Media knowingly went ahead with including the footage of her bare breasts without her final consent.

The Authority ruled that TVNZ that were in error and ordered them to pay a total of $18,000 for compensation and legal contributions.

Hayley Holt and the Gentle Giant

Mark Foster and professional dancer Hayley Holt were interviewed on It Takes Two, where they talked about training for reality contest Strictly Come Dancing.

Mark talks about how he needs to overcome his gentleness and act for the 90 seconds of the dance to take on the character of the dance. The gentle giant apparently prefers to spend his time making cups of tea for the other competitors. If you didn't suspect he was gay before the interview your antennae will now be on full alert.

This week they performed the Tango and rehearsals showed Hayley in tears. What is going on with that? She toughed it out on Treasure Island and took away $50,000 but she can't cope with the gentle giant? She should thank her lucky stars she didn't partner Tim Shadbolt or Rodney Hide. There are far worse things than being paired with a hunk with rock hard abs...

Strictly Come Dancing - Week 3

Greetings from a cold and damp UK. Tonight, we saw the remaining men of the competition dance either a Jive or Tango on Strictly Come Dancing and pro dancer Hayley Holt cried. We are now into Week 3 and it is the last of the 'men only' shows. Next week we see the last of the ladies dancing, and then everyone competes against each other for elimination.

First to take to the floor was Austin Healey and Erin Boag, dancing a Jive. Everyone agreed that this was a fabulous routine. Sometimes dancing first can be a drawback, but tonight, Austin and Erin set the standard, that everyone strived to reach; few came close and no one managed to beat them. Lots of bounce in the dance, lots of kicks and flicks. Plenty of energy in the dance, and both looked like they were having a ball. Scores 8 8 9 9 Total 34

Next to enter the dance floor was your local lady Hayley Holt and her celeb Mark Foster. Sorry to say it, but this couple do not light up the dance floor. This week they were meant to be performing a Tango, which is meant to have lots of strong emotion and sharp movements. The training footage shown beforehand did not bode well, as it showed Hayley in tears, apparently with frustration at not getting her celeb to dance at a level that she was happy with. As it is only Week 3, it doesn't look so good for the Professional to be the one in tears!

The Tango was poorly performed, though it was a better effort than their dance in Week One. For some strange reason, known only to Hayley, the routine contained some elements of Foxtrot in it - perhaps because this is one of her favourite dances. None of the steps were performed well, either Foxtrot or Tango. This couple are struggling.

Scores 5 5 7 7 Total 24.

Car crash television continued with chef Gary Rhodes and his professional partner Karen Hardy. It was meant to be a Jive. the routine was so poor, it was embarrassing. You felt Gary's pain, and I found myself praying for the end to come, to end his obvious discomfort about being in the middle of a dance floor, with the viewing public watching his every move. Forgotten steps, no bounce, standing like a statue in places during the routine, looking apologetic throughout as he looked into Karen's eyes. Clear candidate for the dance off. Will Gary and Karen's fan base save them again this week? Scores were generous, but maybe it was out of pity: 3 4 6 5 Total 18.

Fourth couple to dance was Kristina Rihanoff and journalist John Sargeant. On paper he would be home before the postcards, but here we are in Week 3 and there is no sign that he is going home any time soon. Not because he is a brilliant dancer, but because he is loved so much by the British public.

Kristina has worked wonders by designing routines which suit John. None of the movements stretch John, or make him look or feel uncomfortable, and he in turn concentrates and takes on board most of what he is told. As a result, their routines are lovely to watch. Gentle on the eye, safe in the knowledge that there are few people who will be voted out before him, on current form - so the honeymoon period continues. This week John and Kristina danced a Tango.

The best I can say about it all is that John smiled throughout, thoroughly enjoyed himself, and did not forget his basic steps. Scores 3 6 6 7. Total 22.

Andrew Castle and Ola Jordan danced next. This week their dance was a Tango. Lots of obvious concentration on Andrew's face, and though marginally better than last week, still not enjoyable to watch. Ola did not have any distracting clothing this week, so all eyes were on Andrew.

Training footage from during the week did not indicate that things were going well, and this was confirmed by the performance tonight. A candidate for the dance off I think. Scores 4 6 7 5. Total 22.

If there is anyone considered a contender to Austin Healey in the male element of SCD this year then it is Tom Chambers and Camilla Dallerup. Tom and Camilla danced a lively Jive. Not as good as Austin's but the judges seemed to think it was fairly close in standard. I think the general public may beg to differ. What steps were there, were danced with confidence by Tom, but traditionalists would argue that more bounce and lightness needed in the flicks and kicks.

Scores 7 8 9 9. Total 33

Final couple to dance was Don Warrington and Lilia Kopylova. They danced a beautiful and dramatic Tango routine. Lots of raw emotion in their dance. Lovely to watch, took the audience along with them. Arguable whether they should have come joint second on the leaderboard, rather than third. Scores 7 7 8 8. Total 30. I think their mark was fair, and Tom's was too high. 30 seemed about right for both of them in my opinion.

The ladies Group Dance this week was Swing. Fabulous routine. Standard really good. No one danced badly, though some danced better than others. The biggest talking point was the footwear, not the steps!! This is a must watch video! I will leave you in suspense about that. All I can say about it all is 'sack the stylist!!'.

On tonight's performances it should be Gary, Mark or Andrew in the Dance Off. Gary may escape again, if the Karen fans vote in their droves. It is anyone's guess who will be voted out, but I suspect that if Karen and Gary are in the bottom two, the judges allegiance to Karen, will ensure that he is saved to dance again, and I also think the BBC/judges will not have the same allegiance to an ITV employee. We shall see. If there is any justice, Gary should go.

David Archuleta Guest Acting Role

2008 American Idol runner up David Archuleta is set to make his acting debut on iCarly. Miss Prozac doesn’t know what that is either, but it appears to be some sort of teen webshow program on Nicolodeon.

Anyway, in a huge stretch of his acting talent David Archuleta will play a contestant in a talent competition called America Sings. Oh yeah, that should be a challenge.

iCarly is all about super-talented teens so David Archuleta is an ideal fit.

Love Politics? Watch a Televised Debate Live & Be in to Winz

If you're interested in politics and live in one of the two 'swing seats' of Epsom and Ikaroa Rawhiti you can be part of the audience to watch a live televised debate on TVNZ7. You'll also get a chance to win a free Freeview television box to watch the debate.

In Swing Seats, TV ONE reporter and Agenda co-host Rawdon Christie will host a town hall-style debate for the main players. Christie, with support from Back Benches presenter Wallace Chapman, will give the candidates in these 'swing seats' a chance to tell viewers why they have the best policies for their constituents.

The Ikaroa Rawhiti debate will be held at 9.00pm on October 16, at the Lawson Field Theatre in Gisborne. The debate will provide incumbent MP, Maori Affairs Minister Parekura Horomia, a chance to go head-to-head with Maori Party challenger, Derek Fox.

The Epsom debate will be held at 9.00pm on October 23, at Epsom Girls' Grammar School, where ACT Leader Rodney Hide, National MP Richard Worth, Keith Locke (Green Party) and Kate Sutton (Labour) will debate the pressing issues in this blue-ribbon seat.

Americus Wilson Circus Performer

Cute little Americus Wilson is on her way to the finals of New Zealand’s Got Talent. She does her hula hoop routine for Loritz Circus and was a hit earlier this year at the Easter Show. Dominion Post says Americus was born under the big top and has been a part of the travelling roadshow since she was 18 months old and performs her hula hoop routine at every show. She is based in Porirua for the school holidays.

Strictly Trouble for Brendan and Lisa

Rumours of a split are circulating after pro dancer Brendan Cole stormed off while he was being interviewed with model Lisa Snowdon on Strictly Come Dancing.

Despite Brendan’s claims that he and Lisa have great chemistry and would sizzle in their salsa, they gave a mediocre performance and didn’t connect.

In post performance interviews Brendan walked out, leaving Lisa perplexed and now BBC is apparently in crisis talks to keep the couple on the show.

"Brendan went off into one of his moods and Lisa couldn’t understand what she’d done.

"She was devastated, crying and sobbing. It was very harrowing. She was very upset.

"After Brendan stormed off there was a feeling they might not get back together.

"There was a lot of sweet-talking to try to persuade them to kiss and make up."

The incident has polarised viewers. Brendan’s fans are defending him saying he took off to his man cave to recover from the disappointment of a lack lustre performance and low scores from the judges. But other viewers rate his behaviour unprofessional and immature, with the word sulky bandied around in some circles.

Rumours of a split don't jibe with Brendan's recent outing with Lisa Snowdon at a charity event. Maybe they've patched things up, or maybe the Brendan walked out for other reasons?

Whatever happens, Brendan’s reputation as the “bad boy” of ballroom looks set to continue and you can be sure to read an almost daily list of rumours in the papers. These days you just don't know who to believe...

Rachel Hunter B-List Celebrity

According to a recent survey, Catherine Zeta-Jones is the top A-list celebrity scoring 50% of the votes. Angelina Jolie came second and Nicole Kidman nabbed third place. Lucky for Catherine the poll was conducted before she appeared in public with an orange face after over enthusiastic application of bronzer.

The list also rates B, C and D-list celebrities and Rachel Hunter doyen of a new clothing range “for every woman” ranked seventh in the B-listers. Top of the B-listers were Sienna Miller and Sharon Osborne.

Lisa Lewis Quitting Erotic Dancing and Nudity!

Naked newsreader Lisa Lewis says she’s going to quit the erotic dancing industry on December 1st, 2008. That means no more lap dancing and no more taking her clothes off in public. Men everywhere will be crying in their beer.

Bisexual Lisa says she still loves dancing and feels she has been misunderstood by the public (especially after the 20/20 doco) but she rates herself a determined chick and reckons she knows when it is time to move on.

I admitted I have regrets about the Industry and the line of path I have taken in the line of work I am in and have been in.

The job taught me alot. I saw alot. That I may not have necessarily been exposed to in any other career path.

Over the past month I have reflected over what I do to make money. I go home after working in a club, and some days it has taken me a good week to move on from it.

She goes on to say that she believes her current choices are making her lonely and that a future partner may not respect her taking her clothes off. No kidding.

She wants to be happy and taking her clothes off isn’t doing it for her.

I am unhappy taking my clothes off and doing the shows i do for many different men and woman.

I like many, want a partner at home. I write this and for once in my life dont care about others opinions what individuals think in reading this.

She also says she wants to be out of the industry before her son starts school. So 2009 will be a fresh start for Lisa and she’s looking at other ways to earn a crust.

Big ups for the honesty Lisa but somehow we doubt we’ve seen the last of Lisa. There's still the "tell all" book to be launched and her next career choice…

The Best of Maorioke

This special series of Maorioke features 30 of the best singers who have appeared on the show since it first went to air in 2004. Contestants go into elimination rounds to find the best six singers, who perform in the grand final.

Now heading into its fifth season, the makers of the programme say the time has come to revisit the most talented performers discovered over the years, and bring them back for a sing off.

The grand champion will earn the title te toki o Maorioke and $10,000 prize money.

For the heats, contestants must sing two songs each – one acapella and one with a backing track – and two singers from each episode will carry on to the semi-finals.

From there, each performer will be required to deliver the goods while singing with a band, in themed episodes that span the decades – from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.

Just six will emerge from the semis, to go on to give their all in the live final, on December 5, with the winner to be decided by audience text voting. All finalists will receive $1,000.

Well-known judges Whirimako Black, Brannigan Kaa and Betty-Anne Monga return from previous shows, along with new judge, industry expert Victor Stent. Returning hosts with the most are Kingi Biddle and Cushla Tangaere-Manuel.

Jodi and Stefano in the Bottom 2 on DWTS Australia

Stefano Olivieri and celebrity dance partner Jodi Gordon narrowly avoided elimination on this week's episode of Dancing With The Stars Australia. They scored 25 for their Argentinean Tango placing them fourth out of the seven couples. However, after the public vote they dropped to the bottom two.

Red Symons and Ana Andre were eliminated allowing Stefano and Jodi to progress to the sixth round.

Nicky Watson Dating LA Snapper

Chaz Cummings First Finalist on NZ's Got Talent

Random question of the evening. Why are their four semi-finals on New Zealand’s Got Talent? Doesn’t semi mean one of two mini finals? Is maths a talent that someone at NZGT HQ needs to brush up on?

Tonight the producers managed to eek out the drama for a whole three minutes. Youth was the order of the day with the three most popular contestants after the text votes also the youngest of the batch. A tearful Chaz Cummings deservedly won the most public votes and an automatic place in the final.

The second place in the final is decided by the judges from the second and third most popular acts after the public vote. The two contenders are Americus Wilson and after a very long pause junior jivers The Mini Mes. Yvette Pugh and Chase Limmer aka The Mini Mes were one of the couples who featured on DWTS.

It seems a foregone conclusion that cute chocolate loving Americus will be the judges' favourite, but surprisingly Richard Driver voted for The Mini Mes. A very breathless Miriama Smith who sounded like she'd just run a marathon voted for Americus as did Paul Ellis. So tiny Americus Wilson and dance sensation Chaz Cummings are through to the finals.

Hayley Holt Hot in UK

Hayley Holt’s agent Sara Tetro of 62 Management is being kept busy. She told the Sunday Star-Times she was fielding several calls a week from British media wanting to find out more about Hayley and asking for pictures.

"The interest in her is really building and she is getting stopped in the street by people."

Hayley has previously said she would like to pursue a television career, and it looks like doors could be opening for her.

News of the World are suggesting that Richie McCaw is insecure about their long distance relationship while Hayley quicksteps with swimmer Mark Foster. Hasn’t anyone told him Mark is strongly rumoured to be gay? It’s hard to believe Richie would be insecure. He’s had a lot of experience with long distance relationships including a little over a year courting Hayley and two years with Miss Popularity winner Jessie Gurunathan.

Hayley disclosed in a recent interview that Richie is very relaxed about the time apart and not worried that she’ll tango off into the sunset. NOTW also quote Hayley as saying snowboarding is her first love ahead of dancing.

Richie, who has been invited to star on New Zealand’s Dancing with the Stars, told Sunday News he “wouldn’t be caught dead” on the dance floor and “It scares the sh*t out of me”. Who would have thought a big boy like that would be scared of a little lycra and sequins?

Americus Wilson Has Got Talent

Six year old Americus Wilson most definitely has talent and looks a likely contender for the final of New Zealand’s Got Talent. She also has outstanding taste, having decided that she is going to spend her $100,000 on chocolate. She just won Miss Prozac’s heart. Americus stepped it up this time - wow and wow again. She did acrobatics as well as keeping 17 hula hoops whizzing around her waist.

Also on the show, Jeremy Ansley found himself in hot water with the judges when he capered around twirling a cape. Where was the penguin flip they asked?

Another favourite has to be self taught dancer Chaz Cummings who showed a lot of originality and flair. Singer Olaf John also showed originality with his interpretation of I Heard it On the Grapevine while the Mini Mes with their Latin dancing looked polished as did opera singer Edward Owen who was originally rejected from the shortlist.

Chaz and Americus will surely be the two that make it to the final.

Suzanne Paul Visualising Her Way to Oprah?

Suzanne Paul is planning to visualise her way to success. She told Australian Women’s Weekly that she’s been visualising herself being interviewed on the Oprah Show on the comeback trail to fame and fortune.

Now, normally I’d snigger at all this visualisation stuff, because you know you’ve got to ask how well it’s working for her. By her own admission she’s broke, driving a crappy car, renting a home and struggling to repay her creditors.

But I was watching one of those underage gymnasts at the Beijing Olympics and the commentator said that she was mentally rehearsing her routine and visualising its perfect execution and the whole visualisation thing seemed to be working pretty good for her. So, I suppose there’s a chance Suzanne can visualise her way to being the richest woman in New Zealand and repaying her creditors.

When she does she plans to buy a gold Mercedes with cream interior. I almost feel sorry for her. You just know that such an ostentatious display of wealth as a gold Mercedes is going to get coined or scratched in the first five minutes it’s out of her sight.
