Well done to Pete (Our man of the match) taking 5 goals to add to his tally, Neil with his first for the Panthers, Craig with an excellent finish, Rich with a far post finish and with the goal of the match Silver Steve taking an amazing free kick from far out!

Training is back!

ALSO a film maker has been in touch with me asking to coming along to training and matches for research. He is doing a short film on a young gay lad playing football on a straight team. The film makers name is Chris and might be filming but will NOT be using the footage for anything other than research.

Football Training is here!

Well we have finally sorted out a training day & time! Neil Curling has kindly spoke to his work place and arrange regular astro turf training. It's held behind the Tesco Bank building in Longbenton NE12 8BU.
The first session is on Monday 31st October and every monday after that. Training starts at 7pm-8pm so please be there for 6.45pm.
Remember we need numbers for this to continue, so arrange your own way there with friends or other panthers. If you need contact numbers please contact me so I pass them on.

Panthers & Supporters

The calendars are finally here! Well done to the lads involved and made it such a fun project to be apart of. We all have at least 30 each to sell. There is a prize for the player that sells their 30 first. Themselves and a date will be going to the cinema and pizza hut for an evening.

Each calendar is £5 each and all profits go to the club to fund the season. They will also be sold at Nice 'n' Naughty & Sauna 52. Nearer Christmas we will hit the scene for the hard sale.

Newcastle Panthers Calendar 2012- Photoshoot

Hi lads,

Firstly I'd like to say well done to the players that made it to the photo shoot of the 2012 calendar, it was an excellent night. I've already seen some sample pics and it looks amazing.
If you did or didn't know the naked calendar is being produced to make the club some money for this season and next. For this to happen we need to sell at least 500. Between 15 of us, this should be easy! The RRP for the calendars will be between £8-10 each. We are looking to get them by October, so please let everyone you know they are coming! The perfect Christmas present!

Hello Lads,

Following the well deserved rest after our cup win, we are now getting back into the swing of things.

Firstly we have a training session at Dunston (Just off the A1) this Tuesday 19th July @ 7pm. Bring along studs. If you can't get there please let John know asap on 077791464648. Lifts from switch @ 6.45pm )no later)

Secondly, our first friendly of the season against our old friends from Consett. This will be played on Sunday 24th July. Please stand by for further details.

Remember the lads who are doing the calendar shoot, it's on Tuesday 9th August 9pm at the sauna, so do ya last minute sit-ups and only eat salad if you wanna look great hahahaha

Newcastle Pride,The Panthers & the naked calender!

Hi lads,

Firstly thank you for everyone who came along to the end of season bash, the numbers were a little low but it didn't stop us having a good time!
So if you weren't there, here are the things you missed-

1) Newcastle Pride on 16th July- The Panthers have been asked to lead the march with a "Cup winners banner" This is a massive ask and I for one is very proud to do this job. We need all the players to take part, stand up and be proud of our achievement. Details on where to meet will soon be sent to everyone.

2) As promised (on national TV) I have donated money to the club for next season. This will half the cost that every player is paying for subs, travel etc. I'm very proud of this club....look how far we have come in 3 years! Don't let me down lads, let's keep this momentum going.

3)And finally...the big announcement! Me, john and Pete have come up with a way of raising money for the club. A naked calender!!! We will be shooting it in August (Date to be announced) Please message me the month you would like to appear in....it'll be a great experience!

Firstly I just want to say on the behalf of me, Pete and John WELL DONE in the GFSN final!

So with that in mind...it's time to celebrate!!! The end of season will be on 25th June in Easy Street. There will be awards for Manager's Player, Player's player, Goal of the season and Most improved player. John will text round to get your vote for Player's player soon. Also food and drinks.

Hope you all can make it. You all deserve a good old fashioned piss up!

Falcons Match- IMPORTANT!

Lads,

As you may or may not know, we have an away match again the London Falcons on Sunday 10th April. The kick off will be around 1/2pm so you need to get to Richmond before then. The best train to get for London King's cross is the Newcastle 7.45am. So far I know that Pete has booked that one. Train ticket go up in price the later you book, so please book now. As John has text before, if we don't go down with a full team The Panthers WILL be kicked out of the league!
So far this season we have played amazingly well, so don't let The Panther's down so late on in the season.

Another way of raising money for the Newcastle Panthers FC, is to register with the web site and shop through. Every major internet retailer is on it.

Registering is easy, simply go on http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/newcastlepanthers and enter in your details. Then, when you come to buy anything from amazon products to House of fraser products the Newcastle Panthers will get a % of that sale. How cool is that!!!!

Once again guys, we can't do this with 5 people so please register and raise money for the club

Right lads,

This is your chance to raise money for the club....without getting off your armchair!!!! I've signed up to a website called 'easyfundraising.org.uk' This is where you use a personalised search engine to raise money. When you use this just 15 times a day, you can raise £25 a year for the club! You probably thinking 'That's a tiny amount!' but if everyone in the club, friends and family use the Newcastle Panthers search engine we could play for football balls, pitches and ref fees.

For example- Based on 16 players on the team with 1 friend= 32 people with the search engine (default)
32 x £25 = £800 for the year!!!

This amount would pay for our season. If you have a job based in an office and use the web every day, all the better! If this is going to work I need all of you to pull together.
