Flag Day, is a day for all Americans to celebrate and show respect for our flag, its designers and makers. Our flag is representative of our independence and our unity as a nation.....one nation, under God, indivisible. Our flag has a proud and glorious history. It was at the lead of every battle fought by Americans. Many people have died protecting it. It even stands proudly on the surface of the moon.
As Americans, we have every right to be proud of our culture, our nation, and our flag. So raise the flag June 14th and every day with pride!
Properly Display Our Flag
Care and handling of the American flag is steeped in tradition and respect. There is a right way and a wrong way to display the flag. This is called Flag Etiquette. The American flag should be held in the highest of regards. It represents our nation and the many people who gave their lives for our country and our flag. Here are the basics on displaying the American flag:
• flag is normally flown from sunrise to sunset.
• In the morning, raise the flag briskly. At sunset, lower it slowly. Always, raise and lower it ceremoniously.
• The flag should not be flown at night without a light on it.
• The flag should not be flown in the rain or inclement weather.
• After a tragedy or death, the flag is flown at half staff for 30 days. It's called "half staff" on land ,and "half mast" on a ship.
• When flown vertically on a pole, the stars and blue field , or "union", is at the top and at the end of the pole (away from your house).
• The American flag is always flown at the top of the pole. Your state flag and other flags fly below it.
• The union is always on top. When displayed in print, the stars and blue field are always on the left.
• Never let your flag touch the ground, never...period.
• Fold your flag when storing. Don't just stuff it in a drawer or box.
• When your flag is old and has seen better days, it is time to retire it. Old flags should be burned or buried. Please do not throw it in the trash.
Did you Know? There is a very special ceremony for retiring the flag by burning it. It is a ceremony everyone should see.Your local Boy Scout group knows the proper ceremony and performs it on a regular basis. If you have an old flag, give it to them. And, attend the ceremony.

time warner shield tool
I bought this to replace another silver one. Kind of happy I lost it because the other one used to slip and not grip tightly on some compression fittings. Thinking that was just the way they were made, but this one doesn't slip and fits all compression fittings I have tried including the gold RG6. dealing with multi-vendor telecom sites, I see the gold RG6 security shields on most time warner coaxial cables, which is mostly what I run into and use. It fits snug inside the silver shields.
solid tool, not that cheap metal crap
In the field allot and this tool gives me access to rg6 fitting under shield covers. Most use come from install of fittings to coax junction box tho. I use it (mostly) on installing traps for internet and some phone service.

I found the website when I was looking for time warner dat shield tools. time warnes dat locks require a special tool. I normally call these twc cable digital box security tools. on time and as advertised. Using the cable tv wrench 7/16 saved my fingers for coax were over tightened. the cable tv wrench 7/16 me reach tight spots. It is a good little tool to have that will see multiple uses over the years.

after ordering and receiving the comcast security tool. i found it was Made of chrome plated, hardened steel as advertised. my previous tool was hardened with 4130 steel, this one appears just as strong. on few uses i have found the spring steel handle provides additional leverage for those tightened filters. really good buy.
a must purchase
on the back of my cable box was a round cylinder that wouldn't allow me to move my cable box from one room to another. for whatever reason the cable installer placed it on my cable tv box. Well, with this unlocking tool, let me into the cable box protection shield to unscrew the coax cable. The funny thing is I can also use it outside on the side of my house. finally fixed what those cable installers hacked up and left poor connections killing my tv signals and the main purpose of the locking tool cable GR 6 was to move my cable box from the living room into the bed room when I wanted to.
