Perhaps, like me, you need some inspiration.

I started to feel everything was taking a turn for the chaotic earlier this week. I even thought a good first sentence to a novel could be something like The world spiraled into chaos when it struck me that the world couldn't spiral into chaos

Futurist and writer of Future Shock, The Third Wave and Power Shift, Toffler makes all the changes surrounding me make sense and gives me clear glimpses of where we're heading.Don't let the fact that Power Shift was published twenty years ago, in 1990, make you think it's not relevant. Toffler's writing in 1990 is a spot on

He said that those who adapted the best to change survived.This makes much more sense to me than the notion of the fittest surviving. It also reminded me of how difficult it can be to deal with change when what changes is not to your advantage. Even if you are human and therefore, according to Darwin, extremely well

I am not an ignoramus. I know lots of stuff, such as which year the Second World War ended, who Einstein was, why you don't mix your alcohol with your medication. But, I confess, I never realized I was a Coen brother's fan.

Parents often give their children classic children's books to read and this is a good start.
