Its December, and you know what that means? 

SANTA

Our plan this year is to stop at common areas where large groups of people can gather to see Santa. We cannot make it to every street, this way we can give everybody an equal opportunity to see Santa by having our community come to him.

It's important to note that Santa cannot get down from the fire engine. His large belly makes it tough to get up and down. If needed, one of our firefighters can pass a message to him.

Let us know you’re there, flashlights and flashing porch lights help. 

There are some streets that we just can't get down easily. If your neighborhood is listed for that night and you hear sirens, try to get out to a larger road to see Santa. Especially for dead-end streets and tight courts.

If you have a special need for Santa to visit your home, please send us a private message and we will TRY to accommodate requests. Santa is pretty busy this time of year. We ask for a donation of your choice to the fire company to do this.  

Sometimes we have to take Santa on emergency calls with us. If we can, we will get right back out after the call. If not, stay posted to Facebook for updates on makeup dates. 

Don't forget that tree sales are still going on at the fire station. Stop down if you need a tree.

Santa Claus will begin his visits around 6:00PM and he will finish around 8:30PM. This is weather dependent as we don’t want Santa getting rained or snowed on!

Our annual Christmas Tree Sales fundraiser starts on Saturday, November 28th at 10:00 AM. Our volunteers will be available to help you pick the perfect tree:

• WEEKDAYS 3PM - 9PM

• WEEKENDS 10AM - 9PM  

Our Maryland grown trees are available starting at $50 and were freshly cut last week.  Free local contactless delivery to your doorstep is available. Due to COVID19 we are unable to enter your home.  We accept cash, check, and Visa/MasterCard.

Please note that masks are required when shopping at OMVFCo.

Just before 10PM on the 30th, as our volunteers were returning to the station from a call, they witnessed a two vehicle collision on Owings Mills Blvd.

Owings Mills Ambulance 315 quickly responded along with Truck 313. Two patients were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Our volunteers were alerted for a second vehicle collision at 6AM on Tuesday the 1st on Red Run Blvd.

A unit from Pulse Medical Transport was first on scene and quickly began rendering aid.

Owings Mills Truck 313 arrived to find that a driver, who was standing outside of a disabled vehicle, had been struck by a vehicle traveling on Red Run Blvd.

Medic 56 transported one patient to a trauma center, while 118 transported two other patients to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Our Volunteers responded to find a single vehicle accident. The SUV struck a tree and rolled over onto its side. The occupant self extricated and was transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries by Medic 18.

Owings Mills Truck 313 laddered side alpha and checked the roof while the crew of OM Engine 312 checked the second division.

It was determined that the source of smoke was from a small electrical appliance. The appliance was removed. Baltimore County T18 and OM T313 ventilated the building. All units cleared without incident.

Owings Mills Engine 312 arrived on scene to find two cars involved. One patient was transported by Medic 56 of Baltimore County’s Franklin station to an area hospital.

Our volunteers arrived on scene to find a patient who had been hit by one vehicle, and then run over by another. The second vehicle continued and left the scene.

Units from all over Baltimore County, including Pikesville and Garrison, were on scene to assist with moving the patient into emergency medical helicopter transport, Trooper 1.

The patient was flown to a local trauma hospital, where they were immediately taken into surgery.

UPDATE 6/9/2019: WBAL is now reporting that the pedestrian, a 21 year old male, later died at Shock Trauma.

Owings Mills Engine 312 arrived to find a pickup truck struck by a delivery vehicle while changing a tire off of the roadway. Medic 18 from Randallstown and Medic 325 from Pikesville transported three patients from the scene to area hospitals.

Engine 312 deployed an attack line and performed an interior fire attack after arriving on scene to find smoke showing from all sides and from the eaves of the single story dwelling. A quick knock was made and Engine 19, Medic 19, Engine 2, Engine 56 and Truck 18 assisted with overhaul and ventilation.

Thank you to the Engine 312 crew that quickly responded this afternoon!

Engine 312 arrived on scene, at Greenspring Valley Rd, just before Moales Lane, along with Medic 2. No patients were transported, and the scene was stabilized.

Engine 312 arrived with a mulch fire showing, and put the fire out with a quickly deployed handline.

OMVFCo Truck 313 arrived with units from all over Baltimore County, including Reisterstown and Glyndon for patient care and scene stabilization. One patient was transported.

After evaluating patients, OMVFCo was able to determine that there weren’t any injuries on scene requiring transport.

Engine 312 arrived to find the scene with no injuries - only property damage. County Engineer, Medic 2, EMS 5, and Battalion Chief 22 were on scene working to asses the situation.

Crews from Baltimore County Stations: 19, 32, 56, 18, and 14 responded. OMVFCo Engine 312 crew knocked the fire on the second floor with a quickly deployed handline, while Engine 19 knocked the fire on the first floor.
