This weekend was, well, epic. There's not really another way to put it, except perhaps to quote my fellow reporter, Meagan, and say that it was "excellentabulously Claud-frelling-tastic", which may be a mixture of made-up words, but at least it's an accurate one. I doubt I've ever had a better time than I did this past weekend, nor have I spent my time in a better way. All of our activities have been listed in prior posts, so I'll provide just a few of the highlights of the Farscape convention in this one. Read more

News about the third Stargate SG-1 movie have been revealed on the Internet. Brad Wright, producer and writer of SG-1, had a question and answer in Joseph Mallozzi's weblog where he answered a lot of questions of Stagate SG-1 and Atlantis fans.
Brad Wright confirmed that the movie will focus on Jack O'Neill, who will be played by Richard Dean Anderson again. So it looks like some of the official cast members won't be in the third SG-1 movie because some of them could be working on another projects or some of their characters weren't in the SG-1 team when Jack was leading the Stargate command. Some details about Uncharted 2: Among Thieves have been revealed on the Internet. The story is about Nathan Drake's quest for some ships that Marco Polo carelessly lost. The people who have programmed this game say that this one will push the PS3 nearly to the limit of its graphics power.
According to some sources on the GameFAQs forums who got his information on the first preview, Naughty Dog says that this game will be very close to the 100% of the PS3's computing power. The story is about Lieutenant Jake Dunn, a United States Army Delta Force soldier. As Crysis begins, an American team of archaeologists are taken captive by the North Korean Army, just as they were making an important discovery in the South China Sea. The United States responds by sending a team of Delta Force soldiers who begin to engage the large military installations of North Koreans. We have confirmed the release date of the first SG-1 DVD movie in the USA and Canada. The Ark of Truth will arrive on DVD this March 11th. It will cost $26.98 in the USA, and $37.98 in Canada.
This 97-minute long production will be presented in widescreen, with English Dolby 5.1 audio, French and Spanish Dolby Surround audio, and subtitles in English and Spanish. There isn't any information about the extras yet.
At this moment we can only confirm the release of this DVD in Region 1 but we are keeping our eyes on the future official press release for the European edition. Read more

Life: Claudia Black was scheduled to have a recurring role in the NBC show Life, and even appeared in some early TV ads for the show. But she was dropped out due to scheduling conflicts about her character and her pregnancy in the real world, but if the show is successful, the producer would like to find another role for her.

"Stargate: The Ark of Truth" is a planned direct-to-DVD movie that will be written and directed by executive producer of both Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis Robert C. Cooper. So, here you can see the DVD region 1 cover design with 4 characters on it. I wonder...where is Vala? and where is Claudia?. The final filming days on movies or TV shows are very special for the cast and crew because they have been worked together for a very long time and especially on Stargate SG-1 where Amanda, Chris and Michael have been friends during 10 years. Ben and Claudia were on this show for the last two years.
I'm sure this final moment, this final filming day was very hard for them because they had to say goodbye to everything, their work, their dreams, and the most important and emotional thing that make people more human: friendship. Of course they will be friends forever but it will be different too because they will work in other places, in other movies or TV shows. A few months ago I asked this question to the visitors and the fans of Claudia:
What is your favourite Farscape season?.
The voting time has ended and here are the results that we have got.
With a total votes of 86 we could say that the visitors have selected Season 4 as their favourite. That season has received the 27,9% of those votes. Then Season 3 is on the second place with 24,4% and The Peacekeeper Wars mini series is on third position with 19,8%.
The least voted Season has been the number 1, the first one of Farscape, with only 11,6%. Read more

The Spanish free broadcasting channel "LaSexta" will air "The Peacekeeper Wars" mini series for the first time in this country.
It means a very long delay from the US premiere on the SciFi Channel in 2004, so the fans have been waiting almost three years to see the real ending of Farscape saga on Television.

There has been 214 episodes during these 10 years in which every member of the crew have grown up together with us, they have shared their space adventures, their sense of humour, their friendship and their charisma.

Nobody knows enough about an animated movie project called "Stolen Life", is a low budget project designed by Nanoflix Company. The idea to make a Farscape fan video was planning around my head a long time ago and I thought that this was the right moment to make it. "Black Is Black" was my first Claudia video and I made it especially to learn video editing. The next video I made was this "Pure Shores" and I decided to host it in the same web.
The planning of this video started with a song, then I captured the clips from the Farscape episodes, and the last step was the editing to give it life, rhythm and fun. There was a song I liked a lot, and I like it right now, it was "Pure Shores" by All Saints which they premiered in 2000 with a huge success all over the world with a lot number ones in many countries and being included in "The Beach" Original Soundtrack. The story of the creation of that video is something like if you have a vision after you hit your head with an object because in one of the promotional videos of Stargate SG-1 season 10 premiere I could see how Michael Shanks was doing a word trick with "back" and "Black", something like "Black is back". So that's the inspiration to make this video. But I needed a song for the editing procress, I searched everywhere and I found "Black Is Black" by the Spanish group of the sixties Los Bravos. They recorded this song in 1966 and it was their biggest international success.
The rest of the process went really well capturing the right scenes where Vala appeared on season nine, the editing part of every clip with special effects using Sony Vegas 6.0 software and the encoding part where I chose Xvid and mp3 to finish this experiment and reduced it to be hosted on YouTube without loosing much quality. No luck this time for Claudia Black in the Saturn Awards because Katee Sackoff won for Best Supporting TV Character. The Ceremony began on May the 2nd and it established Galactica as the Best TV Cable/Syndicate Show of the year. It also won Best TV Actor for James Callis and the previously mentioned Best Supporting TV Actress.
But Claudia didn't leave the Ceremony with empty hands because the videogame God Of War was selected the Best Game Of The Year and Claudia was part of it with the voice of Artemis character.
Claudia Black and Ben Browder weren't there because they have a lot of work to do on Stargate SG-1 season ten, they were filming a few scenes for the show.

The longest Sci-Fi TV Show is 200 episodes old and everybody had been invited to the birthday party that the team of the show build on the filming set. Stargate SG-1 is on TV since 1997 and that means 10 countinous years where the actors and their characters have evolved a lot. Actors like Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping o Michael Shanks.
Last year Claudia and Ben were regular characters on the show (Claudia signed to be a regular character in season 10) and a fresh air wind has come to the set, it's the Farscape wind that Claudia and Ben have on their roles and that wind is sweeping a lot of fans along.

The Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror Academy was ready to celebrate on May 3tr in Universal City Hilton Hotel of Los Angeles(California) their anual Awards for best movies and TV shows about these genres. Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars won three awards included Best Cable/Syndicate TV Presentation, Best Actor for Ben Browder and Best Actress for her work partner Claudia Black.
