Friday, May 25th, we will be spraying zones 3 & 6. We will also have a truck in the greenways. Please be patient, we are trying to knock down the mosquitoes.

This morning, the Commission and the crew of Amelia Island Mosquito Control District, is mourning the passing of a great man and Commissioner, Mr. Clyde L. Goodbread. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loving wife Mrs. Goodbread and Family.

Tommorrow, May 17, 2012, we will be spraying zones 2, 5 an 10. The trucks will leave the compound at 4:30 a.m. Please watch for our yellow flashing lights.

We will be out and about tonight spraying. The zones we will be covering will be 2,3 &5. The trucks will leave our office at 700 pm and will conclude spraying at 1000 pm. Please be aware of your yellow flashing lights.

Also, during the same time frame, we will have a truck spraying through the greenways from Atlantic Ave to Sadler Road. This will cut down on the salt marsh mosquitoes that are out and about.

Please be aware that our red trucks will be out in the morning spraying zones 2, 3, and 8. The trucks will leave our shop at 430 am. The greenways will also be sprayed in the morning at 800 am. Please watch for our yellow lights while they are flashing. Our spray machines run constantly but they are not spraying chemicals if the yellow lights are not flashing.

If you are unsure of which zone you live in, please feel free to call our office and we will advise you to your zone.

2012 SEASON HAS BEGUN!!

Hi all residents,

Well it looks as if another spray season is beginning. We will be out checking areas again and treating as often as needed.

Tonight, March 22, a truck will be out spraying zone 1 between 730 pm — 1030 pm. Tomorrow morning, March 23, a truck will be out spraying zone 2 between 430 a.m. and 730 am. The Amelia River Golf Course will also be sprayed in the morning.

Please be aware of the red trucks with yellow flashing lights!! Its us.

Due to the large counts of mosquitoes in our traps, we will be spraying. Tonight zones 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be sprayed. The trucks will be rolling out at 700 pm. Wednesday night, our trucks will cover zones 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 beginning at 700 pm. Please watch for our trucks.
