The 2010 Academy Awards will commence at 8:30 PM Eastern Time. It is scheduled to be shown in ABC. However, at 8:00 PM EST, red carpet show will be shown.

Rodney Stuckey is now on a stable condition and is now resting in a Cleveland clinic. The Detroit Piston’s player was earlier seen on a stretcher after collapsing during a game timeout against Cleveland Cavaliers. Rodney seemed to suffer from seizure and was knocked out unconscious.

Before the timeout, Rodney still appeared to be in good condition.

The game proceeded after about a ten-minute delay. At fourth quarter Rodney was seen conscious and in good condition but the game ended with the Cavaliers winning the game at 99-92

The news about Marie Osmond losing a son to suicide was mentioned here previously. Marie Osmond’s son Michael Blosil jumped off from an 8th floor apartment building in Los Angeles and died on the spot. Apparently, Michael was suffering depression which led to his death.

A private funeral is being planned and is set to happen in Utah on Monday. According to “E News!”, Marie’s ex-husband Brian Blosil had confirmed his attendance along with Marie’s relatives.

After those Toyota Recalls, Nissan released an announcement for the recall of a total of 539,864 vehicles due to defective brakes and fuel gauges. There are six models that are involved in this recall: Armada, Frontier, Pathfinder, Titan, Quest, and Xterra, as well as some Infinitis (QX56). Most of these vehicles are sold in the US.

The recall was not prompted due to any accidents involving these vehicles. Nissan received reports of brake pedal pins partially disengaging which was traced to a manufacturing error by one of their suppliers. In addition, defective fuel gauges was also observed: the indicator still indicated NOT empty even if the car had run out of fuel.

According to the Nissan site,

Beginning in March, owners of potentially affected vehicles in the brake pedal pin recall are being notified to bring their vehicles to a Nissan or Infiniti dealership for a quick, simple, visual inspection and, if necessary, repair.

Also beginning in March, owners of potentially affected vehicles under the recalls for fuel gauge inaccuracies will be notified as to when they should bring their vehicles to their dealers for repair. Until their fuel gauge senders are repaired, customers with potentially affected vehicles are encouraged to maintain a fuel level of at least a half-tank.

VEHICLES INVOLVED
Models and numbers of vehicles with potentially affected brake pedal pins are:

• 2008 through 2010 model year Nissan Titan, Armada, Quest and Infiniti QX56
• 178,916 in the U.S., 25,869 outside the U.S. (see box for locations)

• 2005 through 2008 model year Nissan Titan, Armada and Infiniti QX56

FAMU is now famous in social networks for the sex video that has been circulating around the web. These videos are accessible through the ZShare, a large video sharing site.

Jillian Michaels filed defamation lawsuits against three class-action lawsuits against her. The class-action lawsuits claim is for misleading advertisement where people can just take “Two Capsules Before Main Meals and You Lose Weight…That’s It.”

Although there aren’t fat pictures shown by Jillian, she discusses her struggle with fat during her adolescence.

San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore confirmed that the body found near the Lake Hodges shoreline was that of the missing Poway teen Chelsea King.

Her body was found in a shallow grave. Investigators found a shoe first, which eventually led them to the discovery of her body.

On this announcement, thousands flocked to the candlelight vigil to mourn her loss.

The suspect, John Albert Gardner III, was already in the hands of the authorities. He will tried for charges of rape and murder in connection with this missing girl.

Marie Osmond’s 18 year old son, Michael Blosil, jumped to his death from the eighth floor level of an apartment building in Los Angeles.

Police are now investigating the case, looking beyond the possibility of any foul play committed in this seemingly suicide case. Toxicology tests can tell whether Michael had taken in some drugs before this incident happened.

In 2007, Marie Osmond admitted in an interview with a TV show that her son was admitted to a rehab. However, there was no exact details of the treatment given to her son.
