EC announces Gujarat Election dates

Election commission at last announces Gujarat election dates today.
Gujarat assembly election will be held on 9th and 14th December 2017 , in two phases and the Gujarat election result will be announced later on 18th December, 2017.
EC also announce that 50128 polling booths will be set up for Gujarat election 2017.
As a security measure, CCTV cameras will be installed at Gujarat state borders. EC also rules out that a candidate can spend not more than 28 lakh on campaigning and publicity expenditure. Totl seats for Gujarat assembly polls will be 182.
