Christmas and New Year Opening Times

Please note that Caffé Caruso will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, i.e. Tuesday 25th & Wednesday 26th of December 2012. We will re-open at 9am on Thursday 27th December and then it will be business as usual until New Year's Eve.

We are open from 9am on New Year's Eve, i.e. Monday 31st December 2012. The evening session of our New Year's Eve party is now fully booked. However, there may still be some availability for late afternoon and early evening. To enquire, please telephone 01925 416921 during our normal opening hours.

Then we will be closed again on New Year's Day, i.e. Tuesday 1st January 2013. Our normal opening times will resume at 9am on Wednesday 2nd January 2013.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.

Warrington Christmas Lights will be switched on during an event in the Old Market Square on Friday 16th November from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. New Evening Menu

Caffé Caruso is pleased to announce that we have a new evening restaurant menu. It still includes our traditional Italian staples including pizza and pasta, but also Marco's excellent meat, poultry and seafood. A wide selection of cakes and deserts is available too. Also, our regular special offers have been changed slightly. However, Happy Thursday Pizza and Pasta for £5.50, and Bacon Barm and Coffee for £3.50, are still outstanding value for money in these difficult times. See our website for more details of Caffé Caruso special offers.

Happy Thursday continues at Caffé Caruso. Thursday evenings, after 4pm, get any Pizza or Pasta from our main evening menu for the new price of only £5.50. And you can add any side-salad or chips for only £1.50 each.

Regular daytime customers will also be pleased to see that our Bacon Barm Special Offer is still available. Get a Bacon Barm with either any regular Coffee or Tea for the new price of just £3.50.

Please note that the "Happy Thursday" special offer(any Pizza or Pasta for £5.50) is not available on St. Valentine's Day and other seasonal holidays or celebrations. The Management reserve the right to withdraw or change the terms of any special offers without notice.

We are pleased to announce that the 2012 Christmas Menu is now available. The menu includes our usual wide selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian options. At £21.90 per person for three courses it still represents outstanding value for money in these difficult times.

The Christmas Menu will be served in the evenings from early November until the New Year and will completely replace our usual Party Menu. Please note that for parties of ten or more we can only supply one bill to the table at the end of your meal. Your cooperation is appreciated at this busy time.

Diamond Jubilee Opening

Everyone here at Caffé Caruso would like to wish all our customers best wishes, and congratulations, on the occasion of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. If you would like to celebrate with us, we will be open as usual on Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd, and Tuesday 5th of June.

Caffé Caruso is always closed on Sundays, to give our staff a well earned break, and we will then remain closed for the rescheduled Spring Bank Holiday on Monday 4th of June.

We will be open during the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday from 9am until about 4pm on Tuesday 5th of June. If you are in the town centre for the Jubilee celebrations and the weather stays warm, don't forget that we now have Special Iced Coffee for only £2.00.

Easter Opening 2012

Please note that Caffé Caruso will be closed on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

We will be open as usual on Good Friday(6th April) and Easter Saturday(7th April). We are closed as usual on Sunday but we will remain closed for the Easter Monday Bank Holiday on the 9th of April 2012.

We will re-open for business as usual at 9am on Tuesday 10th April.

The 2012 Valentine's Day Menu is now available and includes three courses, including a choice of meat, fish, and vegetarian options, all for £19.00 per person.

Don't forget that 2012 is a leap year and traditionally this is the time for all the single ladies to get themselves a piece of the action. they also say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, so if your man is acting reluctant, drag him along to Caffé Caruso and our Valentine's Day Menu will get him in the mood.

This year St. Valentine's Day, the 14th of February, is on a Tuesday and Caffé Caruso will be opening specially throughout the evening in addition to our usual daytime opening. The special 2012 Valentine's Day Menu will also be available in the evenings of Friday 10th and Saturday 11th February.

Following the announcement on the front of today's Warrington Guardian about the Bridge Street regeneration plan, we would like to remind everyone that Caffé Caruso is still open for business as usual. The plans for the redevelopment of Times Square have not been confirmed yet and we are expecting to remain in our current premises for a while yet. We continue to offer new and old customers alike, a warm Italian welcome, good food and great value for money.

Art at Caffé Caruso

The more observant amongst our regulars may have noticed that Marco has been making a few changes around the walls. In addition to La Belle Ferronière which has been with us for a little while, we now have a contemporary work depicting a typical Italian piazza in Florence.

Latest Nick Giles Charity Cycle News

A few years ago, we mentioned ex-professional cyclist Nick Giles's efforts to raise money for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund with his "Toe-2-Toe" charity cycle ride.

Now Nick has a new challenge called "Tip-2-Tip". He is hoping to cycle from San Roque(the Tip of Spain) to John O'Groats(the Tip of the UK) via Valencia and Lands End, a total of 3800km(2400miles).

However, all this is only in the provisional stages at present because everything depends on obtaining sufficient sponsorship for the trip. If you can help with this, or think you know someone else who can, then please contact Nick via his website.

Sign-makers were hard at work outside Caffé Caruso today, installing our new illuminated sign. When the power is connected later this week we hope that both new and returning customers will find their way to us more easily.

St. Valentine's Day 2011

St. Valentine's Day, 14th February, is on a Monday this year and Caffé Caruso will be opening specially throughout the evening in addition to our usual daytime opening.

This year's Valentine's Day Menu offers a choice starter, main course and dessert for just £18 per person with a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian options.

The special 2011 Valentine's Day Menu will also be available in the evenings of Friday 11th and Saturday 12th February. To book please contact us.

Website Offline

Our main website is currently offline. The webhost that supplies the pages for "caffecaruso.co.uk" has had a serious breakdown at their data centre in Germany.

This blog is hosted separately and is unaffected by the breakdown. More news will be posted here when it becomes available.
