Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus apple and samsung A long struggle

2015-08-11T18:20:00.003+01:00

The Galaxy Note is not the only PHABLET
Traditionally, Samsung presents its phablettes at IFA held in September in Berlin. But this year the manufacturer organizes a press conference in New York a few weeks before the IFA. To precede and the latest Apple iPhone expected around September 9?

By increasing the size of the iPhone screen and launching its own PHABLET, the iPhone 6 Plus, Apple has come more directly compete with Samsung and its Galaxy Note. This bigger screen "creates pressure on Samsung to launch it earlier than he would have done to boost sales as a whole" comments Jan Dawson, an analyst Jackdaw Research. It is "a way of saying, if you are ready for an upgrade, here's a terminal."

Samsung is indeed no longer alone on this category of smartphones with large screens, and he now faces strong competition in a market where volumes have not been huge. Consumers do not want to pay the high prices charged by Samsung while many similar models and cheaper Android are available.

For the first time, Samsung will launch the latest addition to the range Note facing him with an iPhone equipped with a display of comparable size (5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus). And in September Apple should add a new competitor: the iPhone 6S Plus.

But a two-week or even a month, can he really make the difference in a market that is no longer the beginnings of the Galaxy Note? This is unlikely. After seven consecutive quarters of decline in profits, Samsung has again convinced. And the manufacturer's why ready to sacrifice. Prices of Galaxy Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have for example been lowered.

sasmsung galaxy note5

Samsung knows the market phablettes he created in 2011 by launching the Galaxy Note 5.3 inches. Initially, this one raises questions. But the terminal gradually attracting a growing number of customers. In 2013, Note 3 seduced, including among other manufacturers who engage in turn in this segment. Samsung needs to stand out. Thus in 2014, the Korean launches two phablettes the Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge, its first smartphone with a curved screen to the side.

13% of smartphone 5.5 inch +
But with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Apple eclipsed the advantage seemed to enjoy Samsung. In the last quarter alone, the US has seen its smartphone sales grow by 35% to 47.5 million units.

The entrance of Apple has energized a segment already growing. And more generally, the trend is a growth in the average size of the smartphone screen. In the United States, during the second quarter, 13% of smartphone sales were for terminals 5.5 inches and more, against 5.5% a year earlier. And according to Kantar Worldpanel, Apple is now prevailing on these models, rather than Samsung.

If we're pretty sure that the Taiwanese manufacturer should deport this technology to the webcam, as on the Desire 826, giving it more legitimacy, it should, however, to overlook Sony for the main camera of his very next flagship. Samsung Galaxy S6: the manufacturer confirms charging without native thread

Samsung has revealed a slightly more important information about its upcoming Galaxy S6 and probably all future top models. On its official blog, the Korean manufacturer has in fact posted a long article to get back on the wireless charging virtues. Although he never explicitly mentions the Galaxy S6, the allusions are clear enough for the avoidance of doubt on the matter. He promises that with "Galaxy smartphones coming, users will enter a new wireless world like never before."
it includes mainly the S6 and S6 Edge its probable variant should integrate charging without native. On way wire is hard to see the promise bells and whistles on it if it is still an optional feature. Especially as many smartphones are already consistent with such a function, including Google Nexus 5 and 6, the LG G3, the Nokia Lumia 930, 1520, etc.

We also learn that since the first products agreeing wireless charging appeared on the market there about ten years, this chipset has drastically lost weight, never to occupy today that 10% of the total space that he had at the time. The thickness for his part was divided by three, while the price has also dropped dramatically, from 90%. Finally, and this is probably the most interesting information on use: there are three, wireless charging was a snail that was operating only between 20% and 30% as quickly as charging wired. Since, even if they have not yet balanced, speed nonetheless doubled to 60%.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge :

March 7, 2015 lifted the veil on Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, during a special event during which the Korean opened the ball MWC 2015. After a difficult 2014 due particularly disastrous sales of the Galaxy S5. Its plastic shell was considered the worst effect at a time when competitors like HTC, Sony and LG were offering products with premium materials, Samsung has finally decided to make the transition metal.

A premium design

One of the most often cited complaints about the Samsung Galaxy S5 was related to its design. Its plastic shell was considered the worst effect at a time when competitors like HTC, Sony and LG were offering products with premium materials.
With his last two flagships, Samsung has finally decided to make the transition metal. A change long overdue from its users and sketched over the last few months with the Galaxy Alpha, the Galaxy Note 4 and of course, the Galaxy range A.

32, 64 and 128 GB of storage:

By offering three storage options for 32, 64 and 128 GB and integrating its latest memory module UFS 2.0 turns out to be 2.7 times faster than the 5.0 eMMC memory we found so far in the high-end phones.

A screen 5.1 inch Quad HD resolution

the screen of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge goes for a Full HD 1080p definition Quad HD 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Both terminals and provide a resolution of 577 dpi, while providing a brightness 600 cd / m. The screen of the two flagships of the glass is covered strongest protection of the market, Gorilla Glass 4, we already found on the Alpha Galaxy and Galaxy Note 4.

Galaxy Edge S6

Like the Note 4, the Galaxy S6 is entitled to its curved variant. The originality of this variant is that the screen is curved, not just the right but at the level of the two tranches

ipad 2 screen resolution

2011-05-14T12:28:00.001+01:00

It all started with IOS version 4.3 which was released to developers. Details suggest that Apple would opt for a change of GPU (Graphical Processor Unit) with a SGX543 (a driver is listed in the IOS 4.3) instead of PowerVR SGX535 introduced the iPhone 3G and present in the iPhone and iPad 4. And this new more powerful GPU would aim to support the resolution of the iPad 2.
The iPhone 3G had a resolution of 480 by 320 pixels and iPhone 4 saw the resolution doubling, then to 960 by 640 pixels with density 326ppp (pixels per inch) of its Retina Display. But the iPad would follow the same (r) evolution. If it has a resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels at the moment, it could double the iPad 2 and thus pass to 2048 by 1536 pixels (ie number of pixels multiplied by 4 pixels per inch and doubled).
This is version 1.1 of the application iBooks (as well as version 1.2) that was inadvertently left a fourth icon to show its application with the indication 'iPadx2 "(the others being that of the iPhone, that of iPhone 4 and that of the iPad). And the resolution of the icon "iPadx2" iBooks to the application is twice as large as that for the iPad (ie twice as many pixels per inch).

Blackberry Desktop Manager 6

This new version 6 of the Blackberry Desktop Manager for PC does not have much news but fixes some bugs and adds better support for new devices .
Whole interface is really easy to use. Everything just seems more organized in the sidebar rather than the six icons in earlier versions. I personally just because you do not need an unlock code to install.

Blackberry Desktop Manager 6 home screen is much nicer than the old Desktop Manager. You feel more heat in this new interface.

BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6 can only confirm the progress that RIM has made in recent months to climb an additional step in the creation of these programs v6. We look forward to version 6 software from the terminal to confirm our claim.
