After all the struggles and all the pain and all the battles, we ended up victorious. Every challenge and every tough situation was in some way or another taken care of. It is time to reap what we sowed. To be close to our loved ones and to appreciate the opportunity of life…

A new beginning awaits us. The time to choose the right path. A time to rise and make our dreams a reality. To understand the importance of family and to unite one another in peace. To believe in something and to be the best we can be. To get closer to understanding love and not only understanding it, but accepting it and most important, enjoying it…

Grab hold of true love and never let go. True love is real, real love is forever and forever is love…

Gamble

Is it wise to gamble? I guess the answer would be no if you lose but if you win someone might consider it to be wise. Something to think about… If you do gamble, are you trying to make a lot of money with a small investment? Or perhaps the method you are using is not working? All and all, why is it so hard to beat the casino? Why do they always win and we never do? Well the answer shall now be revealed…

I decided not to label what I do as gambling, rather I decided to call it investing wisely… In other words, I will invest my money, by placing a wager based on personal knowledge of the game I am wagering on. Why wager anything on something you know nothing of??? What is your passion?

VERY IMPORTANT: Something that is always overseen is that when pay out is good the odds are against you. Meaning, if you parlay, the more teams you add the more money you will get, why do you think? Obviously because that is the hook… You see your 5 or 10 dollars multiply to 200 dollars, trust me, we take the bait… We end up losing while “casino” gets fatter…

Personally I am a fan of the NFL (National Football League). I enjoy every game, from technicality, team stats, individual stats to great plays and big hits being that is a contact sport. It’s just a great sport for me… Since I am involved and interested, it is much easier for me to make a proper judgment on a game. You can never account for the upsets, unfortunately they happen. However, if you find that “for sure” win, in whichever your sport or passion might be, don't be afraid to get money. Don’t parlay it with other teams that might not be “for sure” and try to make more than your investment. Instead collect patiently, wait for the good one, go big and beat the casino... Global Warming, 2012. The End?

Is the world coming to an end? Speculations, theories and predictions all surround this uncertainty. It seems time has caught up, and now there are many events taking place this year. The famous or infamous year of 2012, also known as the year of the dragon according to the Chinese zodiac calendar. Also happens to fall under the culmination of the Mayan calendar, ending on December 21, 2012.

The Mayans have three different calendars. The solar calendar(made up of 365 days), the ceremonial calendar(consisting of 260 days), and the long count calendar, which depicts dates in a series of five digits, each digit less than 20. Somewhat how we tell time, a series of two digits, both under 60(mins). The first day in this calendar is noted as 0.0.0.0.0, which would relate to our calendar as August 11, 3114 BC. After every baktun, or every 144,000 days, the first number increments. This starts a new baktun. Basically their calendar will be changing from 12.19.19.17.19 over to 13.0.0.0.0. Marking the end of the Mayan calendar to the day. There is no evidence that can prove they were expecting an apocalypse or predicting the end of our world.

There are believes that 2012 will mark a new era of positive spiritual and physical well being for all mankind. However, there are also believes that there will be a cataclysmic event that will end our world, such as getting hit by an asteroid, a planet called “Nibiru” or the arrival of the new solar maximum. This time is when the sun completes its 11 year cycle and has the most solar activity within those years. Solar flares rise the highest in this stage and may very well impact our earth. Carrying us into the world of science and physics.

Global Warming

By definition, global warming is an increase in the earth’s atmospheric temperature that causes changes in our climate. This believed to be caused by the greenhouse effect. Earth’s mean temperature has risen approximately 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit (0.8 Celsius), reflecting two thirds of its increase from 1980. It is expected to rise in the 21^st century from 2-5 degrees F for the lowest greenhouse emission scenario and from 4-12 degrees for the highest emission scenario. Global warming will affect stronger in the Arctic causing glaciers to break and continue on with sea ice. This in turn affecting sea temperature and rise in sea level. Also effects may come as extreme change in weather and in precipitation, causing droughts in certain places and excessive rain in others. Ultimately making certain species extinct and jeopardizing human welfare. Furthermore, if earth’s mean temperature rises 7.2 degrees Fahrenheit(4 Celsius), in most part, human adaptation limit would exceed and natural ecosystem services as well. We depend on these for every day life...

As for things we can do to help mother earth would be to be energy efficient. By reducing the use of fossil fuels, the amount of carbon dioxide would reduce as well as pollutants which cause acid rain. Lets not forget to turn lights and heat off when we're not home and if destination is at a walking distance, take a walk, it’s good for you:)

Will we ever see a world of peace? A world where helping one another exists and a mind of prosperity and good will prevails? It so seems people all around the world are learning more and more to accept others beliefs and ideas. Its not common anymore to find a person who is racist either. I never understood why. Literally, skin us all and we are all the same. Don’t understand why color of skin makes any difference. I think it makes us all interesting. Strange ideas…

What about the topic of world war 3? Is Israel going to attack Iran and if so will this break out another world war? Its possible we witness that in the near future. With its definitive no, to removal of nuclear weapons, Iran insists those are but a safety for their country. They state they will not initiate a war against any country but if attacked, they will not stop their counterattack until enemy is annihilated. Basically telling all who don't agree with them having nuclear weapons, “you want them? Come and get them!”

After the storm, there will be peace. I believe dense clouds are forming. Getting ready for the storm, ready for the worst but hoping for the best. Turmoil is eminent, but peace will follow. At the end it will be what you and I want. After all, everything is determined by you and me. What ever it is we look for or desire is in the palm of our hands. We look for peace, we look for happiness and we look for freedom when in reality those things are within us. Always looking to see what’s around, losing focus of what’s within. Never mind the negative. Dispose of it. Lets live and embrace whats within. This will lead us to the future and as generations pass, we will plant our seed to eventually see this world flourish...

Could we live with out it? Probably not, at least not now a days. However people did back in time. Money has become an issue rather than a solution. Economy is at a low level all across the world yet the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. This may sound like a shot at the wealthy but believe me when I say that this is a shot only to those that abuse their employees by conspiring to pay as little as possible to generate as much as possible…

I guess by this time you must be thinking that this is how it is and fact of the matter is that you are right. If we really think about it, someone that earns 500 dollars per week and gives 5 dollars to a homeless every week, he or she is giving 1% of earnings per week. It wouldn't even make a dent on your wallet. So for a large corporation that generates 1 million dollars a week, why is it so hard to dish out 1% for anything? That would be 10,000 dollars. Lets not talk about the Billion dollar companies. Imagine those 10,000 dollars bumping up to 100,000 dollars. How many people could be helped by this kind of “donation” on a weekly basis? Instead, an executive goes out and buys another yacht…

Sad but true, I guess people forgot how to be human. Now their life functions as a machine which uses money to operate. Having the power to help and not doing it, is not only something you have to live with, but also something everyone will know…

Their beauty, their warmth and their sensitivity attract us. Their gentleness and of course their cooking, win us over. They posses something that in a way completes us just as we posses something that completes them. There is more to a woman than we can imagine. Their complexity keeps us searching for the right answers and their unconditional love is what will overcome any adversity...

The ability to carry a child and become a mother is something that at times can be taken for granted or forgotten. So special and intriguing that all men should be thankful. You carried us and brought us into this world. Thank you! How would I be here without my mother? Impossible…

Speaking freely, I believe women are princesses and it ultimately comes down to each and every one of them to become queens. I’m pretty sure just as I am looking for a queen, they are looking for their king…

No longer left behind in education. In 21 out of the 27 OECD countries with comparable data, women are graduating from university level programs at the same rate if not more than men, and at 15, girls tend to show higher expectation for their careers than boys of same age. We are strong but they are strong with us. Unity always strengthens. Appreciation for women, appreciation for men and appreciation for life should always be present. Without one of these ingredients we would not be here. Perhaps we will never understand them but if we can understand the blessing that comes with them, then we will know what we once knew...

Hope is the emotional state that promotes belief in a positive outcome pertaining to circumstances in our life. According to psychologists hope is cultivated when there is a goal in mind and we have determination to finish this goal. Not only determination but also a plan on how to obtain it…

Hope can be present in our life and for that matter it should be. While there is life, there is hope., and if there is hope, there is a will and if there’s a will, there is a way. Charles Snyder, Ph.D determined that hope is the sum of mental willpower and waypower that we posses for our goals. Defining willpower as the driving force in hopeful thinking and waypower as reflecting mental plans or road maps that guide hopeful thought. Basically hope is the outline to accomplishing a goal, if and when we can implement both willpower and waypower…

In matters that we have given up hope, more likely than not, we haven’t obtained our goal. Be it in the business, financial or love world. We essentially gave up on a certain dream because time that we were not counting on elapsed and all hope was lost. Regaining hope on certain circumstances requires us to focus and understand that time will pass and will never stop. Thats why the phrase comes to mind, “patience is a virtue”, very true…

Before you consider to stop hoping for an outcome in a current situation, think of the importance of this matter. Can you live your life knowing you gave up hope on something or someone? Why is it that we come across people? What outcome comes from different associations? As time’s gone by I’ve understood that each and every contact is important. The importance being that we can learn from everyone…

Learning, after all is not compulsory it is contextual. So we are not forced to learn but rather it depends on us what we want to learn. At times we get caught up in our own knowledge or our own customs that we forget that we are able to learn from everyone. It is sad on occasions when someone forgets who you are and most importantly who they are. They get to a stage where learning is not part of them. At the end making a disconnection. Sometimes peacefully and sometimes rudely…

Meeting someone or playing a role in someone ‘s life is a gift. Many people take the gift of relationships for granted. Hard to touch topic, but why is it that when someone passes away, people are so moved that they send a huge floral arrangement but during life never ever showed up for a simple chat? Why wait till I’m dead to bring flowers, I guarantee I wouldn’t enjoy them as much as if I were alive..Don’t wait till tomorrow to do what you can do today. Something to think about...

Finally, we can break through barriers if we join in the race to learn from one another. To find and to be found. So many types of peoples, so many personalities so many intriguing new adventures to be lived. Never stop learning because we never stop growing. Just how we did before, all the knowledge we’ve gained, all the people we’ve met and all our great experiences, can continue on if we continue to learn. That’s why this we already knew...

Where did we come from? Where are we headed? Sometimes we question our existence. Is it mere coincidence that we’re alive ?Was it “luck”? Or could it be possible that somehow we were chosen to come to earth.

Many people have many beliefs. Who is right? Who is wrong? I believe we know what was taught to us. So when someone else tells us any different we automatically think they are wrong. Naturally. If all your life you were taught to take your shoes off in your home and someone for the first time came into your house with shoes on, you would automatically see it as wrong or non-customary. Basically everybody sees everybody else’s beliefs, if they do not concur with their own, as wrong.

What I do know is that we are winners. We won the race! We are not quitters. When we were swimming as sperm to fertilize the egg, we beat out millions. Why that happened, will soon be discovered and we have a life time to continue on and win this life. Also, always remember that you will be remembered by many. How you are remembered is up to you…

Some how we impact people. Mainly our family and people who are close to us. The importance of being alive is not to know were we came from or where we are going, but instead of what are we going to do with our life. What kind of person are we going to be and what impact are we going to cause in people around us. The answer to where you came from and where you are going lies in you. We know what is right and what is wrong. So if we follow righteousness, our purpose in this lifetime shall reveal itself and ultimately lead to our own great history. The history we started when we came into this world. So this is not new to us, we were meant for greatness, so this we already new...

Is it real? I can understand they have to have a name for every thing, but stress? Every time we are feeling down, tired, worried and all those negative emotions we tend to say we are stressed. So what is stress?

Stress is a word that’s been around for a long time. It describes a negative concept that can impact mental and physical health, BUT, is unclear exactly what defines it and whether or not it’s a cause, effect or the process in between that connects both. Before it was attached to refer to external factors that disrupt HOMEOSTASIS. In 1926, doctor Walter Cannon used this term,” stress” to describe external factors that disrupt the organisms optimal condition, which he called homeostasis. Basically stress would take away and disrupt our optimal state of being. Prior to 1920, the word didn't have its contemporary connotation. It’s a form of Middle English destresse, derived from Latin word stringere, or to draw tight. It had been in use in physics to describe internal distribution of a force exerted on a material body, which resulted in strain. In the 1920’s and in the 1930’s it was occasionally used among biological and psychological groups to describe a harmful environmental agent that could cause illness. Basically, it was believed since then, that stress could potentially make us sick...

The power of being stress free is obtainable! Why believe in a word so much as to make it real. Instead of believing in a negative word, believe in a positive word. Yeah you’re getting off a long day at work or just been busy all day, feeling what? “STRESSED”. Why not say I’m HAPPY. Not only say it but believe it. Just like you believed in stress, now you can believe in any condition you want to be in…

So easy to believe in the negative, yet so difficult to believe what is real. Positive emotions and feelings lead to a stress-free environment. If we go back, and really think of the times when we were young, we were living in a stress-free environment, or so it felt like it to us. The reason being, was because we believed in the positive, maybe even on a subconscious level. In turn, obviously leading to a happy state of mind. Now that we have full understanding and know how to focus our energy and concentration, It shall become easier to obtain what we all want, to be stress–free. If you can believe how you once believed, than all this will not be so new. Therefore, this we already new...

Not So New, SO in current events, I am flabbergasted to see how we are beginning to view the world… those who want to believe that the end is coming in the form of destruction, are creating havoc, just for the reason that blows my mind, unappreciation of LIFE. We will unite as one… that is what I see now, each one of my brothers and sisters enjoying LOVE at its most perfect form. Whether it is through art, music, sports, WRITING… What an amazing reality to know that we are here to help one another, love each other to be able to understand that we are part of this wonderful universe. Seems surreal, I am speechless in amazement, that the time for the true revolution, is commencing, and we want freedom, our minds long for the TRUTH.

I am reading through reports, it all indicates that mental slavery has been abolished. Our government officials, Kings and Queens, Sultans, and leaders of the world are unifying their people with aid, that before was not provided in this rich manner. I see the time nearing where everyone will enjoy abundance, and though it will be beautiful, good fortune and long life will accompany those who administrated wisely… WE WILL.

Young at Heart

What do you think about age? It seems the older we get, the less we think about it. Is it because we are scared to even think of the possibility of becoming “old”? Or because now we can understand that age is really just a number . Of coarse, speaking of only those that have developed into a full mature adulthood. Sure, our appearance may age, thus making us older but internally we are who we’ve always been…

Why not grab hold of that and always be young? Is it really that hard to stay young and be happy all the time? Young happy… Why do we embrace getting old, instead of embracing youth. Our organism is not a weak one. At all. If we can treat our body well by having a good diet, exercising regularly and most importantly being young and happy, youth will be our friend....

Being in a happy state of mind all the time can be a challenge due to situations that may arise. If we can keep our heads up and transmit our positive aura, even in those hard times we will be lifted. Not only will we contribute to our wellness , but will contribute to help others. Happiness, its contagious, so lets pass it around. We can do it!

You can look, you can feel and you can be whoever you want to be. Let it all go. Embrace anew project , embrace a new goal. The knowledge and wisdom we’ve acquired will be our guide. Frankie said it once before, ”fairy tales can come true, it can happen to you”, “if your young at heart.” Youth is not passing us by. Youth is coming to be by our side.. UNFAITHFUL

Have you ever been unfaithful or has someone been unfaithful to you? There is always two sides of the story, it seems. Example: If we speak to someone who’s been unfaithful to their spouse or partner, they may say they were lonely or they were having issues with their partner. If we spoke to the party who was on the opposite end, they may say that they don't know why their loved one would cheat.

So who is wrong? I think we all would be quick to judge and point out the “cheater”, right? There is more to this than the naked eye could see. So deep , leading to a question: Did this happen so we could understand something? To realize something? To learn something? Yes, yes, yes.

Immense feelings and emotions are involved and this is not an easy situation. In order to come out and continue on, we must take the teaching behind it. For the one who was unfaithful: Learn to be single until you are able to commit, but most importantly know the pain and anguish someone who loved you felt, and never repeat it. For the counterpart; Learn it is not the end but the beginning. Learn you are self sufficient and aspire for who you truly deserve. That person that fills your eyes, nothing more nothing less.

Sometimes we get caught up in difficult situations in our romantic relationships. However, some way or another we end up in the clear. Just as the storm passes there will be calmness and the sun will shine again. After all, we already knew.

INDOLENCE

My father always said, “ the lazy always work double”. A very simple saying that has an immense deal of knowledge. Its strange that if you tell this to someone , their reply would be, “are you calling me lazy?”. At this point and time, we think to ourselves, duh, yes! Naturally we say no, and just forget about it. If it clicks, let it click, and if not, well, too bad…

Thankfully, I learned at a young age, making my life a lot easier. Who wants to work double? Right? Many people. Its hard to understand but this is reality. I’ve caught myself skipping through an instructional, wanting to finish some sort of project faster. After all that time spent , I end up having to go back and read everything and basically doing it twice. Going back to the simple phrase. I guess this would be far from those that decide to do the least as possible because they just rather not. Sad. I’ve visited homes where basically everything is laying out, clothes, trash, food I mean everything. Just dirty. Why? Is it because they just like to live dirty? I believe it all comes down to who is lazy and who is not. My father also told me, “if you’re going to do something, do it right” I believe we’ve all heard this, maybe in a different way, but its been part of our life somehow.

Let it not be contagious and deliver yourself from those who are infected. Give them the antivirus, and let them decide if they want to be healed. If not, good bye, you don't want to catch it. All this, you already knew.

Achieve Your Goals

Its another day, and its another opportunity to obtain or get closer to obtaining our goals. What are our goals? How long before we see these become realities? They say," there’s a time and a place for everything", well I say , the time is now and the place is here…

When goals haven’t been reached by a certain age, we become trapped in the idea that by this time, that particular goal should have been materialized. We go into the negative part of the scenario. This in turn affecting us as individuals and ultimately never allowing ourselves to finish the race.

If we could get over the fact that we had set goals for a certain age and here we are passed it, we can then re-establish that goal or commence a new one. This time around focusing on completing the new task at hand and learning from the experience of not being able to be where you originally intended to. “ Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me!” Just came into mind, I don't know why…

We reap what we sow, so true. Your effort, persistence and most importantly your CONSTANT POSITIVE STATE OF MIND, will ultimately be the key you need to unlock that door and walk straight through it. Never forget the positive part. That’s what makes us or breaks us. When we first started to walk, we fell and fell and fell. We did, but then we got up again. We prevailed. So this, I believe, we already knew...

KEEP FIGHTING

Have you ever felt you hit bottom and every door you want to walk through, some way or another, seems to be shut? Why is it that we find ourselves in situations like these? How will we find our way out? To be honest, sometimes we don't understand why we have to go through tough times. Who wants that?

Well, the answer is no one . The importance of a bad experience, is the good knowledge we will acquire from it. I know it seems so easy to say it when everything is OK or already passed. However, I figure there is a greater purpose for those bad times. Sounds silly, but through these times is when we must be the most positive. Even after a horrible day, or week, or month, or year, never forget to be grateful for life, health and family. If we keep on fighting, never look back and never give up, victory shall be ours…

Remember the time you were young? That situation you felt you couldn't overcome? Eventually we came out alive but through the process we injured ourselves. By injuries, I mean the stress, the sadness, the guilt and basically all those negative emotions that damage our mental and physical well being.

With that being said, if you are going through a bad time in your life, let it all go. Let all that negativity fade away and replace it with absolutely nothing but positive and good. Don't hurt yourself with all those negative emotions. Instead, start to fight and never stop. Remember that this, you already knew...

SELF EXAMINE

Self examination is something not a lot of people think about. Not physically, but personality wise. It is human nature to evaluate other personalities but not our own. The reason for this, is that it is easier to see a defect or a flaw in someone else rather than oneself…

Have you ever been around someone you thought was completely annoying? I think I know the answer to that. Do you think they know this about themselves? The answer is no. Who wants to be a jerk or an a**hole (annoying) ? Have you noticed that when we point it out to that person, all they do is get offended and upset. This eventually turning them against you. I believe this being the result of a lack of willingness to self examine, and to become their own personality critic. How can we say this to people? I guess we really can’t. A famous phrase comes to mind, "monkey see, monkey do”.

If we start by being our own personal critic, what can anybody say? They can just ask, right? Why are you such a great person? Self-examination! The rest wont be on you or me, but will lie directly under their own power to make the decision of joining the personal critic club. After all, we already know what annoying is, so why be part of the annoying club. This may come as news, but really, we already knew…

MARRIAGE

Sometimes I wonder why there are so many cases of infidelity and divorce. How can this occur? If when this couple decided to tie the knot, there was so much respect, sincerity and most importantly, love. Or was there? Love being the keyword here. Can someone fall out of love just as easy as falling in love? I guess the answer for everyone would be yes. More than falling out of love, I think people in general are always looking for something else, something they don't presently have. In other words, people get bored…

What about the couples that grow old together? You might ask. In these scenarios, I believe circumstances have a lot to do with it. Of course never denying the possibility of true love. The love that all prevails. We are always looking for that person that is going to love us unconditionally. When we find them, more likely than not, we end up marrying them. Never thinking about our part. Are we going to love them unconditionally too? Something to think about. Love is a two way street, but sometimes we get caught up only going one way. Life is too short and it is never too late. This, we already knew.

Many of us have experienced betrayal. Maybe even been an accessory to it at one point without even intending to. Anyhow, it’s human nature to feel disappointed or even outraged when a developed trust is suddenly broken into pieces and at the same time your heart is also broken. Betrayal..

At this point and time, automatically your brain works and sends images or memories of a betrayal. Why? Because you have not been able to first of all, forgive, but most importantly, to forget. I’ve heard comments making reference to chains holding us down. Metaphorically speaking of course. Placing the pieces together, chains would be considered to be betrayals or moments in your life that you hold some sort of grudge towards. Basically an occasion of disappointment..

Get the news today. True happiness awaits. Let go of the past, forgive and forget, after all ,what good can come from bad? Right? Deliver yourself from those chains that tie you down and run towards your goal without looking back. It’s not the race that counts, but rather the victor. All this, I think, we already knew.

After much thought and analysis, I’ve considered the possibility that love, wealth, and wisdom, all come from a same source. The energy that is involved in you, experiencing or having any of the three, is energy coming directly from the source, your source. Example: when we experience any of them, we feel a sense of accomplishment, even if we are lacking a part of the complete package. Maybe you are rich but currently don't have that person in your life that fills your eyes. Opposite, might be desperately in love, with the love of your life, yet can’t afford to shower the money tree. Furthermore, some find themselves in an all around the clock job, that’s basically eliminating the possibility of obtaining a college degree, due to must live first rule. Families and mortgages, and everyday living expenses. All that, falling under wisdom and knowledge.
