Advanced Backup

2015-10-26T22:42:00.002+00:00

Immortal Files have created a free program - also called Immortal Files, that allows you to selectively sync files to Dropbox. Shockingly, Dropbox doesn't already offer this feature, and it's usually only offered as a paid option by third party companies.

The software looks brilliant and works really well. As a bonus, as well as allowing you to chose what to sync, it also allows you to enable to encryption on the files, so no one would be able to view them apart from you, even if your Dropbox account became compromised.

What if I don't use Dropbox?

Well, not to worry! Immortal Files also works with Google Drive, so you can have the best of both worlds.

If you would like to find out more about this great new software, following the link below:

What is a Bitcoin?

2013-04-04T12:05:00.006+01:00

You may have heard about Bitcoin's recently, and how the total value is now around $1.5 billion! But the whole concept is quite new, so you may be wondering how you can find out more about Bitcoins, and how you can get some yourself.

Here is a brief overview,

Bitcoin (BTC) is a decentralized digital currency based on an open-source, peer-to-peer internet protocol. It was introduced by a pseudonymous developer named Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009.
Bitcoins can be exchanged through a computer or smartphone locally or internationally without an intermediate financial institution. In trade, one bitcoin is subdivided into 100 million smaller units called satoshis, defined by eight decimal points.
Bitcoin is not managed like typical currencies: it has no central bank or central organization. Instead, it relies on an internet-based peer-to-peer network. The money supply is automated and given to servers or "bitcoin miners" that confirm bitcoin transactions as they add them to a decentralized and archived transaction log approximately every 10 minutes.

Now, you are interested check out Bitcoin Beginner. They will help you out with your first few steps into this new world of currency, and teach you everything you need to know!

2013-02-06T19:02:00.002+00:00

Car Cameras for Recording Useful Data and Events

Security is fast becoming a major concern for everyone, not only at businesses and homes but also in the vehicles that you travel in. So, today you can find cars fitted with a car camera which is extremely useful to catch car thieves, people who vandalise cars or even accident events.

A vehicle camera along with a driving recorder captures interior and outside views. The system also capture GPS information permitting video viewing. with this fitted in your car, you don't have to worry about proof of an accident or any other problem you may encounter. It's ideal for cab companies, law enforcement agencies and just any car owner.

You can also get a black box with a GPS event footage system. This enables recording continuously for over 8
hours. There are different recording modes such as normal, parking mode and event recording. The GPS captures the speed of the car and also the status information.

The unit is attached onto the windshield. lt is connected to power with the help of the adaptor of the cigarette lighter. After the data is recorded, the SD card is removed to playback the footage on your system.

A car camera comes in different brands performing various functions. It is not only useful for cab companies, the police and other security personnel; it is also very helpful especially when you are involved in an accident. In a potential collision, you have the evidence and you can defend yourself from incorrect claims. it is helpful during a recreational trip when you can capture the beautiful moments during your drive. Taxi drivers can be monitored easily by their bosses; this will make them more careful, Cab owners can check if their drivers are following company rules. Just one SD card can store a lot of data of several days.

Tips on Buying the Right Car Camera
Before you shop for car cameras, know the features of various brands. Car Cam Warehouse offer many types of car camera. There should be dual cameras in the black box. A GPS logger is another requirement; this helps you to record your driving speed, the track, date and the time. The G-Sensor is an attachment that identifies and records sudden motion or brake. A touchscreen too is good to have.

If I have convinced you, please check out Car Cam Warehouse at carcamwarehouse.com I highly recommend them!
