Judge denies Blac Chyna’s request to redo testimony in Kardashian-Jenner trial

Judge denies Blac Chyna’s request to redo testimony in Kardashian-Jenner trial

Model Blac Chyna’s request to redo her testimony in her lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner family has been denied by the judge on Thursday.

The model, 33, has sued Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner for $100 million over defamation and accused them of having the second season of her reality show Rob & Chyna canceled.

Chyna, born Angela White, had requested to redo her testimony after saying she had felt triggered by the Kardashian-Jenner family’s lawyer, Michael Rhodes, who showed the model’s naked pictures during her initial cross-examination.

Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, argued in court that seeing the intimate snaps – which were included in the 2017 restraining order request she filed against Rob Kardashian – affected Chyna’s testimony.

Judge Gregory Alarcon refused to grant Chyna’s request to take the stand again. He said that the plaintiff has already taken the stand for a total of 11 hours and had plenty of time to raise other issues and concerns.

Alarcon reminded the group of 12 jurors that each defendant should be given separate consideration.

The judge also told jurors that they should consider that Chyna might have deliberately hid her finances when she didn’t provide any financial statements, tax returns, and other documents pertaining to her income or expenses, despite being given almost six years to file those documents.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle need to ‘stay far, far away’ from Queen Elizabeth

2022-04-29T20:07:00.000+05:00

Experts have issued urgent pleas at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, amid concerns surrounding Queen Elizabeth’s declining health.

This exasperated plea has been issued by, Richard Eden, the Daily Mail’s diary editor.

He spoke of it to the Mail’s talk show, Palace Confidential and was quoted saying, “I really get the impression that Harry and Meghan are loving all the speculation about whether they’ll come for the Jubilee or not.”

“What should be the wonderful celebrations of the Queen’s amazing long reign, instead it’s sort of becoming this saga or will-they-won’t-they-come?”

Even fellow editor Richard Kay chimed in and admitted, “I think it’s tragic for her. The last thing she wants is these ongoing, bitter rows with her own grandchildren and the family.”

“They had so much trouble in the 1990s which they had hoped they had put behind them, but this is somehow even worse and it must be enormously difficult for her and quite despairing.”

Amanda Bynes apologises for accusing fiance of drug use

Amanda Bynes late on Thursday issued an apology for accusing her fiance, Paul Michael, of using drugs in an explosive video shared to Instagram earlier in the day.

The Easy A actor, who was recently released from a long-overdrawn conservatorship, took to Instagram stories on Thursday to allege that Michael had relapsed and often consumed questionable porn. She also said that she had kicked him out of her house.

Soon after, Michael told E! News that the accusations were false, and stated that he was “not using drugs now”.

Following this, Bynes issued an apology, claiming that Michael had, in fact, tested negative on a home drug test.

Talking to E! News, Bynes shared: “I thought Paul relapsed, but I was wrong. He drug tested for me from a drug test kit I bought from CVS. The drug test was negative for all substances.

She also apologised to her fans and confirmed that she is still with Michael, saying: “Paul and I are staying together. I am so sorry for the confusion I caused.”

Earlier in the day, TMZ cited LAPD sources in reporting that Michael had called the police in the morning after Bynes kicked him out of the house after a dispute.

A LAPD spokesperson told E! News: “Officers responded to a call about a verbal dispute around 2:30 in the morning. They met and spoke with both parties and stood by as one of the parties gathered their belongings and left the location. No arrest was made.”

Bynes’ lawyer also offered a statement saying: “Amanda and Paul had an argument Wednesday evening. Amanda left her home, where Paul has been residing, for her safety before the situation escalated. She was not there when police arrived.”

Lizzo brags about her friendship with BTS: ‘I got J-Hope’s number’

Lizzo recently bragged about enjoying good ties with BTS as she revealed texting to the septet’s member J-Hope.

During her appearance on the Audacy podcast, the American singer-rapper talked about her friendship with the Chicken Noodle Soup rapper.

“I got J-Hope’s number, so we be texting,” she shared before adding, “He’s a great texter, expressive.”

“He does not leave you unread. If it’s been awhile since he’s texted, he’s like ‘I’m so sorry,’ and he apologises for how long it’s taken,” she added.

Moreover, the About Damn Time singer also showered praise on the South Korean pop band.

“I think that’s always why I’ve gravitated towards BTS because they remind me of myself where it’s like, self-love and this positive energy and the way they love their fans,” she said.

“I feel the same way and they genuinely have just a pure, positive energy all the time,” Lizzo added.

Spilling beans on her potential collaboration with the Butter hitmakers, she said, “I have to be careful because their fans are fierce! But absolutely, I would just say [I’d like to collaborate with BTS]. I would love to.”
