The End of the Era of Big Four?

2011-08-08T04:36:00.000-07:00

Competition Barclays Premier League (BPL) 2011/2012 season will soon be rolling in the next week. Stretching teams established and medium on the trading floor will certainly make the competition more fierce. So, how bout a picture that BPL will be held starting August 13 the next?

If you view the competition in recent years the British, of course, everyone remembered by the term "Big Four" nickname commonly pinned by fans to describe the dominance of the four teams always compete at the top. They are Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

However, the term 'Big Four' will likely erode in the next season, stretching as shown teams that usually only be a consolation to strengthen his squad next season. Could it be, the dominance of the Big Four would be shifted?

Given the strength of existing maps, Manchester United still seems to be one of the most favorite team to win the title next season. Foster children of Sir Alex Ferguson, who last season won the title of champion of the BPL-19, continued to show maturity.

In strengthening his squad, Sir Alex Ferguson is not a lot of reforms in addition to patch the holes left by three players who decided to retire (Gary Neville, Edwin van der Sar and Paul Scholes). Fergie merekut potensional three young players such as Phil Jones (Blackburn), Ashley Young and young Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea.

With not much change in the squad, United certainly have no trouble finding his best game. Now, just how mature the ranks Fergie young players compete to be reliable in the title hunt to-20.

In addition to United, Chelsea also be reckoned as one of strong candidates. Club-owned Russian oil tycoon Roman Abramovich is also not a lot of big spending as in previous years. However, with a formidable squad that has now, plus the entry of phenomenal coach Andre Villas-Boas a huge success with his former club FC Porto, Abramovich can expect the Blues to compete success.

North London club, Arsenal are also still deserve to go to seed list. Although the risk of losing the two main pillars, Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, but Arsene Wenger's squad this direction is believed to be a strong competitor in the next season. Because the number of young players polish 'The Professor' like Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott, has begun to show maturity. Now, just how Wenger maintains the consistency of the game foster children until the end of the competition. Because, it is at the main constraint London cannon squad competed last season.

One more member of the Big Four, Liverpool in the last few seasons have failed to show his class, for this time seems not to be taken next to the eye. The presence of figures such as Kenny Dalglish intelligent coaches in the middle of last season, proved capable of raising the prestige of the Reds until finally able to end the season in the top six standings after the previous board had fallen on the bottom of the standings.

In addition to know how to mix a slick strategy, the coach who was familiarly called King Kenny is also an expert in finding ammunition that can boost the performance of his team. The presence of Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll in the middle of last season to be evidence of the genius of a Dalglish. Now, the living legend of Anfield back adds ammunition to recruit two tough midfielder Charlie Adam and Stewart Downing, as well as veteran goalkeeper Alexander Doni.

In addition to the four teams that are familiar so-called Big Four above, there are a number of other teams are also to be reckoned with. Manchester City become one of the teams that continue to show big ambition to be able to break through the ranks of elite English team. Attendance figures wealthy home owners Arab Emirates, Sheik Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan became the starting point of the resurrection of The Citizens.

After last season's success to undermine the dominance of the Big Four was ranked as the three final standings, the City is increasingly ambitious to become the best team in the realm of England. Massive recruits were again carried the team diarsiteki Roberto Mancini, with Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Kun Aguero.

By remaining in the transfer market that has continued until the end of August, the squad for the Sky Blues still seems to be shocking the football world with their big shopping. One name that is now crowded associated with the Manchester City club is Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder.

Manchester City, certainly not the only team that could potentially undermine the dominance of the Big Four. Club rivals Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur has also been a thorn for the big clubs in the last few seasons. Fleet Harry Redknapp did not do a lot of movement on the bourses.

However, relying on players last season as a mainstay in Gareth Bale, Rafael van der Vaart and the possibility of Luka Modric (if it does not move), then the Spurs could potentially end the era of the Big Four and open a new era, the Big Six ..?
