“The Voice” was preempted in Oklahoma City Monday night because of the devastating and deadly tornadoes that ripped through Moore and south Oklahoma City earlier in the day.

But the reality show had to go on for Muskogee’s The Swon Brothers, who again showed off their tight sibling harmonies on a fun rendition of the Randy Houser hit “How Country Feels.” Check out the performance embedded below.

CBS pulls comedy season-ender because of tornado

NEW YORK (AP) — CBS has taken the scheduled season-ending episode of "Mike & Molly" off the air because its plot line revolved around a tornado threatening the couple.

The network said it replaced the comedy with a rerun on Monday out of sensitivity to victims of the deadly tornado in Oklahoma.

CBS said the show's season finale will air "at an appropriate date.

“The Voice” live playoffs continue at 7 tonight on NBC, and Muskogee’s The Swon Brothers will be performing, along with the rest of the Top 10.

Oklahomans Zach and Colton Swon are the first duo to make it to “The Voice” live rounds, but their minds won’t just be on the show tonight, considering the destructive and deadly tornadoes that have ripped through the state Sunday and earlier today.

"The Glades" has haunting Season Four debut on Memorial Day

Summer’s almost here and that means it’s time for the return of “The Glades.”

Season Four of the A&E drama centered on witty Florida detective Jim Longworth (Matt Passmore) begins with a case involving the murder of an heiress at a house on a plantation – a haunted house.

The reaction by Carlos (Carlos Gomez) to the ghostly case is especially humorous, and Jim’s whittling down of the suspects is as clever and precise as usual.

And, about that answer to the marriage proposal from Jim that “Glades” fans have been waiting for from Callie (Kiele Sanchez) … no spoiler here.

You’ll have to watch the fourth season premiere for her response. “The Glades” airs at 8 p.m.

NBC hires news division chief from Britain

NEW YORK (AP) — NBC went out of the company and out of the country to find a president for its news division, on Monday naming the first woman to hold the top job.

Deborah Turness, former editor of ITV News in Britain, replaces Steve Capus, who resigned earlier this year, and will begin her new job in August.

Turness will take over a news division bruised by the "Today" show losing its long-held dominant position in the morning to ABC's "Good Morning America.

NEW YORK (AP) — A couple of stars from TV's "Chuck" and "Smash" will soon be dating on Broadway.

Producers said Monday that Zachary Levi and Krysta Rodriguez will headline the new romantic musical comedy "First Date" by "Gossip Girl" writer Austin Winsberg.

The music and lyrics are by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner.

"First Date" centers on an uptight young investment banker who meets a serial-dater at a local bistro.

Brady kids return to Kings Island

MASON, Ohio (AP) — Three of the actors from "The Brady Bunch" television series are returning to Kings Island for an anniversary celebration.

Actors Barry Williams (Greg Brady), Christopher Knight (Peter Brady) and Susan Olsen (Cindy Brady) were invited to the Cincinnati-area theme park Sunday to celebrate the 40th anniversary of a popular episode of the iconic 1970s TV show.

The episode that aired in 1973 was filmed at Kings Island.

Check out this video of Oklahoma country music superstar Blake Shelton and his all-country team – Muskogee duo The Swon Brothers, 16-year-old Texan Danielle Bradbury and Baylor University student Holly Tucker – performing the Brooks & Dunn hit “Play Something Country” on Tuesday’s episode of “The Voice.”

Okies Zach and Colton Swon, who are the first duo to make it to “The Voice” live rounds, lead off on this fun group performance.

As previously reported, it was another elimination episode Tuesday night, but all three members of Team Blake got enough public votes to stay in the competition.

“Congratulations #TeamBlake… Well done my friends… Well done.” Shelton quickly posted on Twitter (@blakeshelton).

As the finalists were whittled from the Top 12 to the Top 10 tonight, the two lowest vote-getters were eliminated: Garrett Gardner from Team Shakira and Vedo from Team Usher.

“The Voice” live playoffs continue at 7 p.m.

Network 'upfronts' reveal genius of Netflix

Last week's “upfronts,” the big five networks' announcements of what will grace their prime-time schedules for the 2013-14 season, included a fair number of solid prospects for repeat viewing, including the Rebel Wilson-led ABC comedy “Super Fun Night” and NBC's “Dracula” and “The Blacklist.”

But the promising series pilots that the networks left on the table — and the reasons why they passed on them — speak volumes about why their programming model might be on the way out, and why the streaming services have an opportunity to completely change the game.

Take, for instance, “Super Clyde,” a comedy about a fast-food employee played by Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley in the “Harry Potter” films) who decides to moonlight as a superhero.

Actor Ed O'Neill to be honored in Ohio hometown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — It's a big day in northeast Ohio for a hometown guy who made it big in Hollywood.

Actor Ed O'Neill of TV's "Modern Family" will receive an honorary Doctor of Arts degree at Saturday's spring commencement at Youngstown State University.

O'Neill, a Youngstown native, attended Ursuline High School, Ohio University and Youngstown State.

He broke into acting after signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers and then was cut in training camp.

NEW YORK (AP) — "The Voice" is leaving the judging drama to its rivals.

The NBC singing contest said Friday that Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will return for "The Voice" Season 5, joining Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

Their midseason replacements — Shakira and Usher — will be back for Season 6, which will air in midseason 2014.

Meanwhile Fox is scrambling to revive "American Idol" after record low ratings for Thursday's finale, with 14.3 million viewers.

'Mad Men' Vincent Kartheiser finds a new role

NEW YORK (AP) — To find their Mr. Darcy, the Guthrie Theater in Minnesota has turned to a Mad Man.

Vincent Kartheiser, who plays the malcontent Pete Campbell on AMC's "Mad Men," will star this summer in a new Guthrie production of "Pride and Prejudice" as the brooding hero of Jane Austen's most famous novel.

"It's interesting playing a character that people have such strong feelings about before I've even begun playing him," he said Friday by phone from Los Angeles.
