KBS2′s ”Age of Feeling” is an intricate and action packed drama with plenty of fight scenes. The drama is about the various gangs that rule and operate the smuggling underworld of China. In the first two episodes, we are introduced to a slew of gangsters and criminals that play a role in the smuggling operations of illegal American goods into China from North Korea.
The first scene of the drama starts of with the thrilling scene of Deguchi Ga-ya stabbing someone in the middle of the night. From there, the action keeps rolling with another fight scene between main character Jung Tae and an opponent during a black market showcase fight in Manchuria 1936. Jung Tae loses the contest, but we learn later that he purposely lost the fight when the two fighters go at each other again in the bar. After the fight in the bar ends, he is approached by an older influential looking character who informs him that his father has passed away and is being buried in Shanghai. Jung Tae replies that he doesn’t have a father, but the man hands Jung Tae a ticket to Shanghai, and Jung Tae finds himself of a boat to the Shanghai. We also learn that Deguchi Ga-Ya is also on her way to the city by train.

Now we go into a flashback eight years ago to the border city of Shin Ui Ju in North Korea along the Yalu river. We see Jung Tae as an innocent teenager making an honest living pulling carriages. He sees the younger Dagechi Ga-ya being beaten by two men, and he intervenes and saves her. In this scene, we learn that there the two things that Jung Tae hates in this world: men hitting woman, and his father. Instead of being thankful for Jung Tae’s help, Dagechi Ga-ya slaps him across the face with a sharp object causing him to bleed. I think this foreshadows the complicated relationship the two will share in the future.
We are given more insight about Jung Tae’s early life in the episode. His best friend Jjang Ttol talks a lot, but also knows a lot of what goes on in the streets. However, he is also naive and causes many problems for Jung Tae. In fact, Jjang Ttol was responsible for losing all of Jung Tae’s hard earned savings in a scam to become a smuggler. He was scammed by a neighborhood gangster posing as another gangster. This event will become the starting point of Jung Tae’s entrance into the underworld. In order to get his money back, Jung Tae fights the Dobinori gang, who he thinks is responsible for the scam. He doesn’t succeed, but his toughness and spirit impresses the gangsters.
We also see Jung-Tae’s sick little sister Chung Ah who requires an expensive operation to make her healthy. Her sickness is what causes Jung Tae to try getting riches in the smuggling operations. We are also introduced to Ok Ryeon who is in love with Jung Tae. She works at the medicine shop and her mother is a courtesan.

The second episode begins with the members of the Dobinori gang and Jjang Ttol discussing what happened. Hwang Bong Shik is the tough leader of the Dobinori gang and Poong Cha is the second in command. Jjang Ttol explains the situation in detail, revealing that the Boolgum gang has been impersonating members of the Dobinori gang. The Dobinori decides to act against the Boolgum gang. Jang Tae also joins the Dobinori gang in this episode. He is given the details about the gang, and learns that the train runners of the smuggling operation are well paid, but also the most dangerous jobs of the gang.
We also see Dagechi Gaya smuggling things, and this is the reason why she is always getting attacked. In this episode, she is saved by a mysterious Japanese man. We also meet Jung Tae’s father, and Jung Tae tells him to never to show up again. Jung Tae’s father actually saved Jung Tae’s sick little sister by taking her to the hospital. The second episode ends with Jung Tae jumping off a bridge to prove his toughness to become a train runner.

The drama just began, but we are introduced to many different factions and characters. The drama might require additional viewing to fully understand what is going on. The drama is action packed and it’s interesting to see the way people lived in the 1930′s. The different accents and vintage culture makes this drama particularly captivating. You can watch this drama on KBS2 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:55pm.

What foreign languages do K-pop artists learn? Can they learn by themselves or they have to have special teachers? How it is in your situation? How many and what languages do you speak? (Even if you can just few words)

The foreign languages for K-pop artists mostly will choose the Japanese, Chinese and English. In my situation I learned from my work and friends. I could speak 2 languages include Japanese and Chinese, a bit of Spanish and English, oh! If you count Korean is well, there are 5 at least?

Does your fan club have a special name? If doesn’t – can you tell us/me how do you call you fans as a solo artist of course.

My fan club is named「KAZOKU」 which means family in Japanese, because I take my fans as my family.

Would you tell us which artist, excluding Park Jung Min, Romeo and SS501, do you respect the most?

I do respect them all; I cannot prefer which the most like. They are having different fascination and meaning to me.

Why did you decide to do the tour in Europe? Do you have any fears because of your European concerts?
I know I have a lot of fans from Europe, when I read through my twitter. I always wanted to have concerts in Europe, so I am glad that I finally could have opportunity to meet my fans here. Of cause I do feel nervous, but now it’s turn to be excited and really looking forward to it.

How do you feel about your first concert/concerts in Europe? Are there any differences between the energy of European fans and your fans from Asia? And with this knowledge, would you like to come back here after this tour?

The ratings for "Pretty Man" proved that.

Fortunately, "Inspiring Generation" already looks like it will have even more to offer than star power. The KBS drama is visually appealing, showing the benefit of two years of planning, location scouting and millions of dollars spent on sets and clothes for the production.

The story began with a backward glance at the childhood relationships between the main characters. Kim Hyun Joong plays streetfighter Jung Tae as an adult and Kwak Dong Yeon plays him as a boy. During the shoot he opened about playing his character Shin Jung Tae in his upcoming drama as he shared, “Although I know the feeling of pure love, it is not easy to portray it… But I am having fun fighting. But I feel more at ease when I’m on the receiving end of the attacks rather than when I’m the one giving out the punches.”

Additional photos of Korean singer/actor Kim Hyun-joong on the set of his upcoming TV series have been released.
Through a press release on Tuesday, the show’s production company Ray & Mo unveiled photos of Kim exuding his manly charm on his upcoming series “Inspiring Generation.”
Kim was quoted in a statement as saying, “Since the show is based on the 30s when there were no workout instrument and protein supplement that we have today, I went for a bulkier, realistic look by mainly consuming meat and vegetables. So if you watch the show, my body may not seem ‘perfect.’”
He then added, “Because there were a lot of wire action that took place during the shoot, it was tough and truly physical. I always had cuts and bruises on me but the show will depict real action that embraces the 30s.”
Kim takes on a faithful fighter named Shin Jung-tae, who does everything for his loving younger sister.
The comic book-based drama will be set in Shanghai in the 1930s and will highlight the topics of love, friendship, patriotism and ambition that youngsters of the time experienced.
As the follow-up to KBS’s romcom “Bel Ami,” Kim’s first drama in three years is slated to hit air on Wednesday.

Korean singer/actor Kim Hyung Jun is holding a concert next month.

Kim’s agency S-PLUS Entertainment said through a press release on Tuesday that the singer will hold an exclusive concert titled “He, His Story,” marking his 3rd anniversary since his solo debut, in Seoul on February 8.

Kim will sing a duet with SS501 band mate Park Jung Min, the agency added. The star is also revving up to release a new album this year.

Kim, who is currently starring in KBS weekday series “Melody of Love,” is currently on his first-ever South American tour concert in Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Ecuador.

The 26-year-old star will then provide support for South American children in need by raising funds, which will be delivered to local orphanages by the star himself along with profits from the tour afterwards. He will fly back to Korea next Monday.

As Park Jung Min will be missing out on meeting his dedicated UK fans, London Oppa have been able to interview Park Jung Min exclusively, so he can at least access his UK fans. Q: What is SS501 to you?

A: SS501 is like home to me. Where I was born, always make me feel warm and safe.

Q: Your drama fondant garden was very successful; do you have plans to participate in more dramas?

A: If there a good opportunity. Sure will do more. And now I have movie shooting schedule in Japan this February, and another Korean movie is planning.

Q: What’s the thing you like most about yourself?

A: I am good at leading people, well organize and optimistic.

Q: Do you have plans to do more musicals?

A: No, plan at current, but it will be nice if I could do once a year.

Q: When will you be doing Korean promotions again?

A: I already have a lot plan; I think I will start acting in Korea first, please look forward to it.

A: I received a lot of support and love start when I am SS501. I want people to know how I grow up those years, from IDOL Park Jung Min to ARTIST Park Jung Min. Now is the time for fans to know, I could have many different appearance.

Q: What inspired you for Romeo to be a vampire?

A: Deep inside of Park Jung Min may have some part like vampire? Where is the inspiration come from? I think is come from the heart.

A: Danny is my first acting, I was had a lot of fun. It’s a precious memory. I do contact with other actors sometimes.
