As they further moved into the westernmost part of Oak Island, they unearthed human remains, coins, metal items, and artifacts that they checked out with the help of invited archeologists, paleontologists, and specialists. 

Another noteworthy element to point out from season ten was that Jack and Gary managed to find a tunnel entrance with a stone structure that’s very similar to how the Italians used to build them in the old country.

The Curse of Oak Island Season 11 Renewal Status

As of now, the official release for The Curse of Oak Island season 11 hasn’t been announced yet by History Channel. Across ten seasons, we’ve seen the Laginas and their crew come up with all sorts of stuff from underground: From broken pieces of wood, coins, rusted crucifixes, a couple of broken mirrors, and the like to significant discoveries, like busted gold mines shafts and a gold cross.

With season ten wrapping up, marking it as one of the best-rated in the show’s trajectory, The Curse of Oak Island remains one of History Channel’s best-unscripted exploration and adventure productions.

Since in season ten, we saw how the exploration crew approached the coveted treasure’s location; it’s very unlikely that a network like History Channel would balk at filming another season where the Laginas could potentially hit a mother lode and finally get their hands on that coveted, mysterious treasure on Oak Island.

There has been recent news that a California father took his own life before murdering his 7 years old child. Everyone seems to get in shock after getting to know this news they all started to go over the internet to know more about it. According to the authorities, this case seems very similar to the part of a murder-suicide. At their residence in the upscale Los Angeles suburb of Thousand Oaks on Tuesday night, Blaine Paddock and his young son, whose name has not been published, were discovered unresponsive, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.

According to authorities, a man called 911 just before 7 p.m. to report a probable suicide at a house in the 2300 block of Chiquita Lane. Inside the house, Paddock and his young son were both lifeless when deputies arrived. The father was declared dead on the spot by emergency personnel. At Los Robles Regional Medical Centre, where he was later confirmed dead, his child was transferred there. After conducting an autopsy on the father and kid, the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled that strangling was the child’s cause of death. The medical term for a hanging, ligature strangulation, is how Paddock passed away. It was determined that he committed suicide.

At Paddock’s residence, detectives from the sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit carried out a search order. What they discovered and if the father had written a suicide note were not disclosed. According to investigators, there are no other suspects in connection with the murder-suicide. An instant motive was not immediately known. Californians were shocked to learn that the father had killed himself before killing the child, who was 7 years old. After hearing this news, everyone appeared to be in disbelief and immediately began searching online for further information. Authorities claim that there are many similarities between this case and a murder-suicide.

A 70-year-old man identified as Ben Duamlong, has graduated with a first class degree from the University of Jos (UNIJOS).

DailyTrust reports that Duamlong was among the 20,532 students that graduated from the university in 2022/2023 set.

The aged student said he said he enrolled into the undergraduate programme out of his passion for education after his retirement as a football coach.

The Septuagenarian, who spoke on how people see obtaining a first class degree as a big task for students, said it ought not to be so.

“What prompted me to go back to the university at this age is because of my passion for art. All my life, I have always drawn but never painted. I like painting. I can draw but I can’t paint.

So, after retiring in 2014, as a footballer, I stayed home doing nothing. That is why I decided to go back to school,” Duamlong said.

The 31-year-old man who was in the Department of Social Work, bagged a first class at UNN, and said he worked hard to achieve the feat so that he could change the narrative surrounding people like him.

He also said that he wasn’t born blind, however, he faced stereotypes and stigmatisation because of his condition.

Nweke said his achievement has paved the way for other visually impaired people and it’s the legacy he’s leaving at UNN.

Speaking on how he bagged a first class despite being visually impaired, he said; “Wanting to change the narrative ignited my passion. Naturally, a visually impaired student will be seen by others as someone that won’t do well. I wasn’t born blind, so, facing all manner of stereotyped stigmatisation, I felt that I could as well do it (graduate with a first-class degree) and make people believe that I can do it.

Vision is propelled by the heart and not sight. I wanted to just change the narrative and make a new landmark. So, I just wanted to do something remarkable. I felt fulfilled. I felt I had laid the foundation for any other visually impaired person coming to Social Work. I know it’s a legacy that I have left at UNN.

On the flip side, in the Nigerian system, people don’t appreciate bright and intelligent minds. So, the question that pops up in my head is, “What’s next?” I was happy and grateful to God for making it a reality but the phobia of the larger society on how to pay my bills and all that is the situation for me.”

The anime streaming platform HIDIVE has announced on Thursday, June 1, 2023 that the platform will soon start the streaming of English dub Farming Life in Another World anime with the release date out

For those unversed, the anime series is a television adaptation of the same-named light novel series by author Kinosuke Naito and illustrator Yasumo.

The Farming Life in Another World novel series debuted on December 29, 2016, with no illustrations under the title Shosetsuka ni Naro. A light novel series began serialization a year later under Kadokawa’s Enterbrain imprint, and Yasumo agreed to provide illustrations for the series.
