It was chaotic!

This story is about four of these little guys:

Hydro aka Hydrogen aka “Boss”
Nitro aka Nitrogen
Oxy aka Oxygen
Carb aka Carbon

One day these four were going about their routine when they all came together at exactly the same point.

BANG …

“Huh … WTH … What happened??” said Hydro.

“Whoa, Where am I?” said Nitro,  “And who are you guys and why are we stuck together.”

“Hey, this feels cool being stuck with you guys!” said Carb. “Sure is dark in here though.”

“I dunno? Kinda blows doesn’t it?” sighed Oxy. “I was having fun just bangin around. Now I don’t even feel like my old self.”

“Well your not!” said Nitro “You re new!  And however we got together doesn’t matter. We are together now and it feels like we are in it for the long haul .  There some other guys still bouncing around out there but something special has happened here. The four of us together have become a team. Who cares why? The only thing that matters is what is happening right NOW!

We need a team name.”

“How about dog?” says Hydro

“No, I’m saving that for something special.” Carb replied.

“I know! How about HONC? Would be great for bumper stickers,” said Oxy.

“No, looks like a typo.” commented Nitro.

“Wow!! Do I ever feel perfect right now.”  blurted Carb.

“Of course you’re perfect Carb. How can you not be? There’s only one of us. Hey that’s it!

ONE

We’ll call ourselves ONE. And we don’t need any other names cause we are all that is.” announced Nitro.

“Oh Nitro, that’s perfect. We are ONE. Its official. All agreed? said Hydro.

“We can add more names too, cant we? I feel alive right now. Maybe we can be LIFE.”  Said Oxy.

“LIFE .. that’s good too.” Hydro said.

“Hey! How bout god? I was thinking of that when Hydro said dog, ha ha!”  laughed Carb.

“Well sure, we can have lots of names but it doesn’t really matter what we label ourselves cause there is only ONE of us. So lets go with ONE. It’ll be an inside joke for us, as we get called everything else.

Ok so now what?

“Maybe we should look around a bit. Check this place out. Pretty dark out there. Pretty empty too.  It feels like we’re alone but we won’t know until we explore.” said Oxy, “Where do we start?”

“Lets go up first see whats up there. See what we can get into” said Hydro. “I’m full of ENERGY.”

“Wow …  Does this “up” never end? I think we should go back to where we started and go another way. Lets call it a day” said Oxy.

“Ok, Tomorrow lets go down. There was still no-thing up so maybe its down.” Carb replied.

Down they went. Same result. Seemed like it went on for eternity, but it was only one day.

Day 3 they went left. Day 4 right.

“Ok guys we haven’t found too much but its been an experience. We’ve been up, down, left, right. Now where?” Nitro asked.

“Lets go backward. Maybe there’s something  there.” said Oxy

So day 5 they went back and back and back.

“Ok guys its Day 6 and we only have one more way to go. Maybe this is our day. Out front we go.” Hydro announced.

“Whew that was a long day and now we’ve gone every way we can. What are we gonna do tomorrow?” said Nitro.

“I vote for R&R. I’m tired. We’ve worked hard. Plus now that we’ve created this LIFE, its time to enjoy it isn’t it?” Hydro asked.

“I’ll get the beer!” said Nitro.

“We gotta talk about whats next too, guys.”  reminded Hydro.

So Day 7 they rested and they partied … hard … What joy. What fun. Ya, they were really livin it up!

“Ok guys,” said Hydro, “Here`s an idea. You know we`ve been all the ways there is but what about all that space between? I think theres a lot more of this place to check out.”

“You’re right Boss! I want to experience it all.”  Carb said.

“You’re such a brown nose Carb.”  joked Nitro.

“Ok, there’s a lot of ways to go out there and I was thinking if we separate into pieces we can cover more ground. But of course we`re not really separate cause there is only one of us. Doesn’t matter where we go we will always be with each other.  Even though we will be stretched there will always be the invisible web of strings that keeps us connected to the ONE. We can experience every way and all do it together. The possibilities are LIMITLESS.”  Hydro remarked.

“What happens if we run out of ways to go?” asked Oxy.

“Ok. got that covered too. We just start again only we move one step over and one step up. Like and L. Or a staircase. When we step up one L we have a clean slate to start again. Course the old one is still there just down a step. And then we just keep adding on and expanding. For eternity!.”  Hydro exclaimed.

“Like a staircase huh? What should we call these new things?”  asked Nitro.

“How about dimensions!” blurted Oxy.

“Where did you come up with that?”  Hydro wondered.

“I dunno? Just sounded good,”  said Oxy

“And Carb, you know you are special right?” said Hydro.

Hydro continued, “And we can only use you in special situations. That’s because you may be small but you are really thick. So you got to jump in when we need to see something, when there is form, otherwise the three of us are gonna stay colorless and odorless and FORMLESS, filling in all the space between. No one will be able to see us so they will have to believe, without proof,  that we exist.

Carb, you will be the star.  The front man.  The maker of forms.  Quite a role, my brother.”  Hydro stated seriously.

“I am honored Boss. I will make some awesome forms with the help of you guys.”  Carb humbly replied. “I’ve been practicing before the party. If we just shape ourselves this way like an eye shape,  look what happens!”

“Whoooaaa … Look! … It’s light!  …  Hey!  Now I can see!” yelled Oxy.

“See Carb, I told you would be a star! Look what happens when we add light to this whole thing. It just adds endless possibilities for our creating. ” Hydro gawked in amazement.

“Can you feel the warmth of that light? Wow it feels LOVEly” gushed Nitro.

“Oh Carb, now we have ALL WE NEED. I think this Love/Light is going to be really big.” sighed Hydro.

“Ok guys. Today we party! Tomorrow we explore and experience and create and enjoy every second of our creations.”

“Hey we must be a CREATOR!  That’s cool!”  shouted Oxy.

“Oh yeah, One more thing, guys. When we’re creating out there, we’ve got to have a pattern to use and use it for everything so we don’t get confused if we need to go and change things. We’ll always go up and down in 2’s – 2,4,6,8 …. up or down to eternity since we have no beginning or end. We’ll call it the Golden Mean Ratio. And yes, I just made that up.” Hydro said proudly.

And we have to use those other guys I used to bump into and give them a break from the chaos.  In particular this one named Helio. And there be lots of him cause I was always busting into him. He can be hot! We’ve had some fiery encounters! And it wasn’t his fault he wasn’t in the right place at the right time. ” Hydro recalled.  

“We will HARMONIZE with them and they will become ONE with us because we are LOVE, and when you add love to anything it becomes LOVE. And we are LIFE so without us there is no LIFE. And as Nitro said before, we are something special. You were right!” Carb exclaimed. 

“Now we are all on the same wavelength and we have our blueprint. Let’s get it on!” Oxy said with a cheer.

So off they went in a million directions, in a million pieces, looking in every nook and cranny. Carb playing with forms. Sprinkling his creations along the way. An orb here and a spiral there. A tree here. A rock there. And this light thing is really fun to play with. And Hydro and Nitro loved to get together and play in the pool they would create with their union. All just pieces of the ONE but with Carbs help, making things appear separate. What fun. And what perfection.

Then one day, oh, about Day 15 Billion or so, Nitro came to Boss and said,
`
“Boss this is fun and all but its almost feeling like work and you know we’re not made for that so what can we do to spice this up a bit?”

“Funny you should say that Nitro. I must have read your thoughts cause I just thought up a  GAME we can play.” answered Hydro.

“A GAME!!  … Yahoo !!!” said Oxy, “Whats the rules Boss?”

“Ok, check this out.

You know those forms Carb has been playing with. The ones on that little blue planet he created last week.” said Hydro..

“Ya” they chimed.

“Well lets take one of those forms and have some fun with it. Lets create a form and then put this blanket over our head and hide from it. They will forget who they are cause they can’t see us. And they’ll run around looking all over the place for us. We can get the popcorn and sit and watch them from a front row seat and have some laughs. And all the other forms we made on that planet can join in the fun and laugh along with us.

We will watch the drama unfold as they keep looking outside themselves for us. We’ll be able to experience all kinds of new things with these forms that have forgotten.

Then we’ll give them little hints and nudges telling them that they don’t have to look far. And we’ll show them how it feels when they get a glimpse of us. And if they really look,  they will see us in everything. And when they connect with us they will feel the LIMITLESS POWER OF CREATION that we have.  And when they create like we do, we’ll stand up and applaud and cheer from the balcony.

We will even write it in their blueprint so if they are looking with the right perspective they will see it. We’ll write “GOD IS WITHIN” and see if they can figure it out. (Yes Carb they did use that one, ha ha)

But If they lift up the blanket and see that we are in them then the jigs up. GAME OVER. We’ve been found. The first thing they’ll say is,

“Geez, you were inside the whole time?”

Then we’ll have a group hug and the party will be on. The celebration of the ONE. And the stories. Oh, how we’ll laugh at the stories. What imaginations!

The party will go on, but now when they know who they are. When they know they are creating everything that surrounds them. When they become AWARE that they get to create anything they desire. They can LIVE just like us. They will rejoice and want to spread their inner knowing to others.”

“What do ya thinks guys?” Hydro asked.

“Well are you sure we’re not going to “hurt” them with this game?” said Oxy..

“Oxy, Oxy, cmon, How can we be hurt if there is only ONE of us?. Who’s gonna hurt us? We are ALL THAT IS.”  Hydro reminded.

“Oh ya right. Geez, even I forget sometimes.”  lamented Oxy.

“I was thinking Hydro, you know our blueprint for LIFE the Golden Mean. Well its a blueprint for eternity, right? No beginning or end.” Nitro explained. Well if we’re playing this game with them if they never wake up and find us inside they could go for eternity creating experiences designed to remember who they are. And you know they love to suffer but I don’t want to see them suffer for eterntity. Any ideas guys?”

“Oh good point Nitro.” agreed Hydro. “I’ve got a solution though. Let’s change up the pattern. But just a little tweak. When they look for the pattern they won’t be able to tell the difference. Well maybe this Fibonacci guy might figure it out but we’ll see. So with that Carb if we use this new pattern, can you create an illusionary end to their lifetime so they don’t have to suffer too long?  So if they don’t find us in 70 yrs or so we can pack up and leave, return to ONE and start again fresh, leaving a little bit of you behind.”

“Ya sure Boss. So if I create an end then there’s also a beginning. That solves Nitro’s problem and will make the game even more interesting cause we’ll get to party with them every time they leave and go back and lay bets with them whether it will be the next lifetime that they find us inside. Pure genius Hydro!” Carb added.

“So they are going to believe that LIFE has an end, so they will create that to end their pain. Ok that sounds nicer.” Nitro said.

“Ok thats it then. Get going Carb. Lets the games begin!” announced Hydro.

“Wow Boss!  We’ve got an awful lot of possibilities to experience now.  And this sounds like much more fun than making these rocks.” Carb added.

“Yes Carb, and we shall keep creating and expanding and adding on, eternally.” said Hydro furtively.

“And you know the blue planet is just one. Once we figure out it works we can make more.”

“Do you guys ever think about how lucky we are that we met?” Nitro asked.

“Oh yes! What a miracle it was. One in a zillion. We could be still bouncing around with no direction or order or purpose.” Oxy said.

“Bet it’s going to drive our game players crazy trying to figure our how and why we got together.” said Carb. “But hopefully they will remember our conversation when it happened. That it doesn’t matter why or how or when. Only what is. How we feel right NOW.”

“Yes and when our players figure out who they are and that there is order and purpose and meaning to LIFE.  And when they discover how easy it all is they will kick themselves.  And they will help each other remember, because they know we are all in this together.

They will feel the warmth of the light like we do. They will become the light as we are. And the light will make it easier to see us in all things.

They will know when we come to town the party’s on. And that we are the mover and shakers. We get it happening. We are the catalyst. We are the LIFE of the party and without us the party is dead. And who doesn’t love a good party? Who doesn’t love to feel ALIVE? 

They will call us SPIRIT and LOVE and GOD and YAHWEH and on and on. They will worship us as if we are special until they see that we are ONE

And they will RE-MEMBER. 

They will know that they are a piece of the ONE.

And ONE IS ALL THAT IS!”

I am not so naive to think that Obama is the messiah or even a lightworker as I alluded to in the previous post. He has grown up in the old political system so may be prone to the influences by the special interest groups and lobbyists that pervade the system. That is yet to be seen as is any of the changes that he has promised in his campaign. One aspect that he has been criticized for is his lack of experience in foreign affairs. But a consistent theme I have heard from him and a major change in the way the US deals with the world is that he says he wants to talk to so-called enemies instead of dealing with them with six guns blazing while dictating how they should live. An approach of cooperation, communication and an allowing of differences all of which are aspects that I use to describe new human behaviour. This change, if it happens, will help to bring the first of the three positive results of the Obama Presidency.

The US And It’s World Reputation

It’s not news that the actions of the Bush administration has given the United States and by extension it’s citizens a negative image in the world. After the election, I was speaking to a guy from Cambridge NY who was vacationing here in Mexico and he said  that he could now tell people he was from the US instead of saying he was from Canada. I have spoken to lots of Americans while travelling out of North America that have told me that they often tell people they are from Canada. In the last 8 years the reputation of America around the world has gone from respect to one where some are embarrassed to say they are American. Such a shame that a governments actions have to reflect on its citizenry. No one likes a bully and unfortunately that is the label that has been put on the Bush administration. The election proved to me that these foreign relation tactics are not held by the majority of the people.

On Tuesday populations around the world celebrated Obamas victory. I read a interview with a man-on-the-street in Africa who said, “I thought The US was run by white people. Now I see that I was wrong.” This is the start of a new era for the US but especially for the attitude of the global community towards the US. This is a positive step for accomplishing the world unity and co-operation that are aspects of the next age.

Empowerment Of All Americans

The second change I see from the election of Obama was described perfectly by Mark Cuban on his blog – Blog Maverick. Mark is a self professed Republican that voted for Obama. This is his reason why;

Its simple. Having an elected black President will do more to energize this country than any economic or social policy ever could. In a single day of voting, our amazing country once again reinvigorated the dream that any child in this country, no matter what circumstances they are born into, can grow up to be anything they want, including President of the United States.

That dream, staying viable, being reinvigorated, will do more for this country than any economic policy or any legislation that could ever be passed.

Color Blind

The last and biggest factor that the election results demonstrated to me was that, as of November 4th 2008, the United States became officially color blind. There may be some areas of the country where race was a factor in deciding the vote but obviously by the results, the majority of Americans looked past the factor of skin color and elected the person they felt would be the best for the job. Awesome stuff, citizens of the US. I applaud you. This one factor in itself can be the catalyst for adopting the key factor of the shift – understanding we are one. When we can see past the color of skin or gender or any other seeming difference to examine the heart and intent of the person we are getting closer to the realization that there is no difference or separation. That’s unity consciousness in practice.

Energizing. Empowering people. Increasing self-esteem. Showing them that they can trust in their abilities. Understanding that people can create any reality for themselves they choose. These are all factors of the awakening human that I describe for next age. Mark may be describing this from a different perspective but we are saying the same thing.

It feels like the slate is clean. A new beginning for not only the people of America but for the world. We were all watching and cheering for the American people and they came through with flying colors. Now if we can take the feeling generated by this event  and put the promise of real change into reality, we will look back on these days as a major turning point in our awakening to the next age.

I was as far away from anything “new age” before 2000 as anyone could be. I didn’t even know what the words meant. I had given little thought to these concepts in my life, although I had always considered myself spiritual in my own way.

The basic premise of the next age is that we are coming into a time where everything as we know it today will change. This change begins with individual consciousness then spreads to the mass consciousness of all humanity. I believe that we are in the early stages of going into the next step in human evolution. A complete paradigm shift of how humans interact with themselves and all things around them. This has happened once before in our history as we know it. This evolution will take us to the third stage.

The first stage had similar attributes to the stage we are shifting to now. The belief was that we were one with every living thing including mother earth and father sky. One difference is that in the first stage we looked for God outside our ourselves and believed there was a god that controlled all aspects of nature. This can best be seen in aboriginal cultures and still exists today.

The second stage or duality consciousness is the stage we have been in as humans for thousands of years. Well 6000 years anyway which in earth time is not very long. The reason it’s called duality is because it includes concepts like good and bad, right and wrong, male and female, God and the devil, heaven and hell. All concepts that have an opposite attribute to each other. In duality the shared belief is that we are separate from each other and all things. Whether it be individuals or countries or races or nature or the earth, we feel that we stand alone. The adages of survival of the fittest, I am stronger, faster, smarter than you, I live the right way and you are wrong, are aspects of duality consciousness.

Duality also carries the belief that “they” control our lives. Everything that is outside ourselves like governments, society schools, laws, God, religion, doctors, authorities of any kind are to be followed and obeyed. Described by the adage of “follow the leader”. The belief that we are in this alone and have to fight for what we desire. Seeking happiness and fulfillment outside of our selves. Comparing our progress by certain standards that “they” dictate to us from birth.

The third stage, which some have labeled unity consciousness, Christ consciousness, the great shift, ascension, enlightenment, etc. has concepts that will achieve a total overhaul of the way humans react and relate to each other along with the relationship that we have with all other things. We will go from a practice of “following the leader” to one of “following our selves”.

These concepts will form the basis of the next stage or as I call it next age. They are listed here with a short description but go into detail about each attribute in successive posts. I will attempt to give you a simple explanation for each one from my personal experience. I know that if you can adopt the first two then the rest will just follow along naturally. I also know that is easier said then done because they have to be totally incorporated into your being without doubts and with complete trust in yourself. The reward is worth the work.

1. Unity – The cornerstone of the next age. The knowledge that will take us out of duality and back to the one that we have always been. The inner knowing that we are all made up of the same stuff and therefore there can be no separation or differences. We are connected to each other and all things. We are one with the earth, the animals, the plants, the waters, the sky, the moon, the universe. Knowing that what we do to another we do to ourselves. We are connected with an invisible web of love that allows us to feel that love unconditionally for ourselves and by extension, all things. We will understand that we are one consciousness which will play a major role in our awakening to the next age.




2. We are God also – The knowing that we are the creators of our own reality. Jesus Christ, Buddha and all the masters of human history have told us that we are like them. We can do and feel all the same things that they did. That we are all pieces of God, and that God is within not only all of us but in all things. With this knowledge there will be no need to look outside ourselves for anything. This is the recognition of our true self and with it the possibilities are limitless.




3. Releasing Judgment – This is the natural progression of a concept that will fall away when we remember who we truly are. How can we judge when we know that we are all the same. That right and wrong is an illusion of duality and that nothing is good or bad it just is.




4. Attachment – This is an easy concept to explain but a very difficult one to truly believe. When we take ownership of something outside of our self we then carry that around. We become responsible for it yet have no control over what happens to it.It is pretty easy when explained in relation to my house or my car or my stuff but gets especially difficult when the subject of my kids or my wife/husband or my sister is considered in terms of attachment. We love to feel that attachment to the people part of our lives yet by doing this it sets up a myriad of feelings from not being able to “make” them be how we expect them to be. We will explore new energy relationships in this segment. This concept will be explained in great detail in the series as it is a very hard concept to grasp.




5. Joy and Happiness – The final entry in the series will discuss what happiness is and where it comes from. I will explain the difference between joy and happiness. happiness is the one thing that humans in duality consciousness crave the most. And for good reason. This is the one concept that seems to be so elusive and is the base motivation for everything we do. We will discuss the concepts of living in the now, of having no expectations, of making no plans, quieting the mind and having inner peace, all components of the incorporating of joy into our beings.

These are the five attributes of human behavior in the next age. I am hoping that you can see the truth inside them and that this site can help anyone who desires the changes that I have experienced from living these concepts.

It is an exciting time to be on earth. I truly believe that for this shift to happen we all have to do it together. We all have to jump on the ladder. I want to speak to the people who are just beginning to ask questions. My purpose is to be a lighthouse to show the way to anyone who wants to hear the message. Knowing that each of us has free will to choose, so like the lighthouse, I am not trying to stop the boat from hitting the rocks. Just shining the light to help the ship see the path.

Not preaching or trying to convert. Merely giving my perspective and cheering everyone on. Being there to answer questions. To support, and to join hands with anyone who desires the change that I desire. I know it is happening. I can feel it. Together, we are in the process of creating a new earth, a new human for the next age.

The article explains that at the University of Southampton in England a team of scientists will examine some 1500 people over a three year period. The people will be classified as clinically dead but then brought back to life. They will use patients from hospitals in the UK and the US. They will interview these people but also do some tests to determine, in their estimation, if there is a separation of consciousness and body during these times.

Of course they will be looking at it from a clinical basis with possibly a bias as to the veracity of the people’s stories. They will do things like put images high up on shelves in the patients rooms so they can only be seen from above and then ask them if they can recall what the pictures were.

I laughed at this quote from one of the doctors on the project;

‘If you can demonstrate that consciousness continues after the brain switches off, it allows for the possibility that the consciousness is a separate entity.

It is unlikely that we will find many cases where this happens, but we have to be open-minded’

The stories that I have read about people who have had near-death experiences have so many obvious similarities that I am not sure how anyone could doubt that consciousness or the soul or spirit is not a separate entity from the body.

It will be fun to hear the results of this study although it will be a long time before it is released. Lot’s of things can and will happen in this, the critical times coming that may make it a moot point. I love it when science gets into studying spirit.

Let me repeat what I have said in the past about North America. We, and that includes Canada, and to a lesser extent Europe, have been living in a society of separateness, competition and consumerism. I have also said, for humanity to get to the next step, we in North America would have to completely change our way of being. Compared to many other societies in the world, we have the most work to do. So what I’m about to talk about is not an attack on the US but merely observations with this premise in mind.

I wrote a post a while ago called Barack Obama – A Lightworker. That was probably stretching it a bit because I don’t see Obama as a fully awakened human… yet. He certainly does feel more in line with the new energy than his opponent. The US, since Bush, has taken a huge blow to it’s reputation in the world. They are looked at as aggressive and manipulative. A lot has to do with their foreign policy but also their economic strength. Not many people like the bully on the block.

This is not news. It has been observed and written about by many. There was a poll done in other countries about who they would like to see win the US election and the numbers were, on average, 60% wanted to see Obama elected with 12% for McCain. And this site which is allowing people from around the world to vote for Obama or McCain. The numbers are staggering in support of Obama. This says a lot to me about how an Obama presidency could go a long way to repair the reputation of the U.S. around the world.

I also know that with Obama as President, my perspective of a wholesale change in western society becomes much easier to accomplish. You can be a cynic and paint all politicians with the same brush and say nothing will change, but I like to look from a positive outlook knowing that there needs to be a big shakeup for my vision of the next age to happen. I also see the recent events in the US economy from this same viewpoint.

Since the breakup of the Soviet Union, the US has been, by far, the most dominant country in the world. It has virtually dictated its policies to the world. The reason for this dominance, in my view, is because of their economic power. With economic power comes the ability to have the military power to enforce their wishes. I talk about the awakening of the world to a new paradigm of unity, tolerance and co-operation. A next new age where we know that we are one and there is no one entity that is better or stronger or wiser than the other. Where there are no borders or separation between us and where we can acknowledge our unity yet allow individual truths. How can we accomplish this when one country has so much power over all the rest.

This may be touchy for some Americans reading this but I feel that it is the one thing needs to happen. The US (including Canada) needs to have it’s power more in harmony with the rest of the world. It needs to have it’s economic status more in line with the others. With an even playground the bully status will be gone. We can’t have a world bully if we are to recognize our unity.

It seems that we North Americans need to be hit in the wallets before we can stand back and examine what is important in life. Sure, if life is equated to how many things we can buy then there will be tough times for people with that perspective. It’s in the times of chaos where things change. Where introspection yields a new set of priorities and possibly the change that I have spoken about so many times.

If we can look past the immediate “crisis” of the situation and look at it from a bigger picture it may help make sense of what is going on.

Is this bail out just the beginning of a shift in the world’s economic power distribution? A shift where we will all deal with each other as equals. Or is it the beginning of a complete change of the world economic system and how we interact with this energy called money?

Does there have to be something or someone to blame? If there is blame to hand out, then it has to be equally shared. Not just by governments or greedy bankers, but by all of us who took that easy credit without really knowing whether it can be paid. Using it to buy the things that we felt we needed to be happy or successful. Can you see that the thing that may bring North American power more in line with the rest of the world, is the one factor that needs to change to accomplish a shift from our infatuation with consumerism to a whole new way of being. Coincidence? I don’t think so. Seems to fit in the puzzle for me.

This economic upheaval is coming at a synchronistic time for Obama. Even though, as I said, the GOP shouldn’t have to shoulder all the blame but it will probably not bode well for McCain’s chances at victory. From what I see, it can put Obama in a can’t lose position. At the very least for McCain, a guy who doesn’t know how many houses he owns, it made it tougher to separate himself from the Bush administration. This action shouldn’t have anything to do with the election because it is a situation that has been coming for a long time but I have a feeling it will. Obama certainly couldn’t have wanted this to happen but I am sure he also sees the timing as being pretty interesting. I sure do.

I like at look at events this way. It is the universe helping Obama to the White House. It is mass consciousness at work. It’s funny that his mantra is change. Mine too. Sure, his idea of change is different than mine but the universe doesn’t know that. Now if Obama will only help to usher in the change that I desire. The awakening to the next age.

I said that science was the new source of truth for our society. Where we didn’t believe anything until science had verified it to be true. When I look at science I see so many similarities to someone who is seeking spiritual “truths” and the way a scientist looks at a theory. A scientist will look at big questions like, Why are we here-Why do things work this way-How did the universe begin-Who or what created it, and expand their perspective to allow for any possibility, then come up with a theory and try to prove it. It’s that examining and desire to find answers that drives them. This is the same process that a person goes through to look for answers to the same kinds of questions, only from a spiritual perspective. Is it really any different?

As I mentioned in the previous post, science is looking at similar concepts to ones that new age spiritualists has been discussing for 40 years. Topics like dimensions, unseen connecting forces and multiple realities, are all possibilities that science is taking seriously and examining right now. Leo Kim is one scientist that can see the connection between science and spirituality and is working on bridging the gap between the two. Scientists already have the position of “gurus’ in our society. Pretty cool if they turn out to be the new spiritual gurus.

Here’s is an excerpt from his blog that cleary shows how he relates the two aspects of human truth seeking;

Leo Kim is a respected scientist with over 50 scientific publications and patents. He has also studied with the likes of Deepak Chopra, Bernie Siegel and many others, which has helped to give him a wide perspective to look at the issue of the supposed gap between the two. I have not read his book as it is due out in October but from reading his blog articles it is obvious to me that this man is on the same wavelength as me.

Thanks Becky for showing me Dr Kim’s site. It was a perfect example of the idea I was conveying. I am hoping that his information will be read by many. We are getting very close to the answers to these big questions. The uniting of science and spirituality is happening now. I know that it will probably take verification from science for these new age truths to be incorporated into mass consciousness. They have the authority and we seem to have an unwavering faith in science.

Oneness is not new. Aboriginal cultures have always acknowledged oneness as a basic component of human experience. Even science using quantum physics is recognizing this connection. I have devoted many words on the Next Age to the concept of unity being a major part of our collective awakening. What will it take for all of us to not only hear these words, or say them ourselves, but to live them?

Mainstream initiatives like the  Global Oneness Project is one organization that is contributing to the spread of this message. It is a project supported by the Kalliopeia Foundation and is an offshoot from the movie ONE, The Movie. It is a web-based video project where they travel the world interviewing people from all cultures discussing how oneness is expressed for them. They make the videos available on their site for viewing and distribution.

Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee is a Sufi sheikh who in 2000 awoke to the concept of global oneness. The Emerging Consciousness of Oneness.

The Global Oneness Project is one of many that are being formed around this key factor to our awakening to the next age. The more we hear this message the better the chance of global consciousness changing. In one of the videos a comment was as follows

We have to make the structures of society unable to bear separation as a way of approaching things, much like we do of the practice of slavery today.

Now is the time for us to return to the knowing that we are one with not only each other, but with the earth and by extension the universe.

For most of our human history we have lived closely with the energy of nature. Modern society has increasingly become disconnected to nature. We live in cities where the energy that surrounds us is fast-paced. Constant noise and lighting that is on 24 hours a day. The rat race. We assimilate the energy of our surroundings.

Many times people will shut down their senses because their minds and bodies can’t take the frantic energy that pervades urban living. Some, who are more attuned to the energy around them, will create an imbalance within themselves. Could this be the cause for the numerous personal disorders we see in modern society?

Have you ever noticed that people who live in the mountains or by the sea or in any natural environment that is void of the energies of the city, have a different “feel” about them? A calmer feel. When you look into their eyes, you can you see a peace and serenity that is different than city dwellers? The people that live in the natural areas can also tell if you are from the city. They can feel it. They may not verbalize it, but it’s a feeling. That feeling is the energy that people take on from the place they live.

Where do city people go when they get time off? Camping, hiking, skiing, going to the beach, to the mountains. There is a reason for that. We are drawn to the energy of nature. It takes a few days to take on the energy but when we do it is a glorious feeling. We calm down. We slow down. We start to notice the beauty of things around us. We reconnect to the stars that we can seldom see in the city. We forget the daily worries that are constantly occupying our minds. We rejuvenate the connection to our soul. We balance our bodies with the energy of nature.

Can it be any wonder that people dream of getting out of the city to be able to rekindle that feeling. We are drawn back to nature because we have the inner urge and inner knowing that this is how we should feel. That we were meant to be connected to the energy of nature because we are part of nature. It is our true state of being. Nature’s energy is what the mind and body desires and what it needs to sustain balanced health.

For some, the urge can get so strong that they will leave the city to relocate to a natural environment. Most will come back to the realities of jobs and obligations but look forward to their next weekend or vacation. 

In 2007 MIND, the UK mental health organization released a report about how our connection with nature is an essential part of a healthy human psyche. The evidence in their findings was so strong that they recommended that UK doctors prescribe Ecotherapy to combat stress and depression rather than drugs. This is another excellent source for info on Ecotherapy. The words may be different than my perspective of the energy of nature but they are saying the same thing.

Yes, it would be nice if we could all live in nature, but it’s not practical in modern society. There are ways to use the balancing energy of nature even in the city. A quiet walk in the park. Digging in the garden. Sitting by a river. These places can have a similar balancing effect. It has to be more than just visiting a natural area and taking pictures, it’s the experience of communing with nature and flowing in harmony with the natural rhythms of life.

The rejuvenating aspect of that weekend at the lake or a vacation in the mountains is well known. It will reduce stress, increase sensory awareness and boost creativity. Many also know what a spiritual experience connecting with nature can be. Balance of body, mind and spirit is the key to health and longevity. It is because we are energy. We are nature. We are one with all things in nature. Health is balance. Nature is balanced energy. Now you have an energy healing perspective of why it is so important.

I just read an article on how they are suggesting that children who have been diagnosed with ADHD show a big improvement in their ability to concentrate if they are allowed to be in nature before they are asked to do any school work. These new kids know what the benefits of balanced energy.

When we spend time in nature, it brings us back to our own nature. The nature that has been misplaced or lost in the city. Our bodies feel it. Our minds know it. Absorbing the energy of nature is like plugging into the source of life.

It’s the middle of summer, so a perfect time to get out and soak up the healing, balancing energy of nature. If we understand why it is so important, maybe we can alter our priorities to give this practice of reconnecting with nature the prominence it deserves. As a bonus to our health benefits, it’s also inspirational, enjoyable and a heck of a lot of fun.
