Jake Locker QB (TEN)

Locker comes into camp battling Matt Hasselbeck for the starting position. He has the talent and a rocket arm to be a good NFL QB. The Titans were smart to draft him 8th overall and to have him mentored by Hasselbeck. He might not be the starting QB by week one but he'll definitely be the starter shortly after. Look for the Titans to throw the ball more this year with Locker at the helm.

Evan Royster RB (WAS)

Royster is in a cluttered backfield but he has received high praise from OC Kyle Shanahan. He's not a back that will blow you away with speed but his hard running in between tackles will be liked by the Redskins. Its very hard to trust Mike Shanahan and his running back rotation but he might fall in love with Royster's hard nosed running style. Royster's numbers will increase after the midway point of the season. Don't count on him to save your fantasy team but he can be a valuable asset towards the stretch run into the playoffs.

Isaiah Pead RB (STL)

Steven Jackson just turned 29 last month and still looks to be in great shape but the Rams have drafted a Darren Sproles type of back in Pead. He's a great compliment to Jackson and will help to keep him fresh and healthier this season. Jackson only played a full season twice in his career and will break down sooner or later and Pead is waiting in the wings to take a larger role in the offense. Jackson will still rush for over 1,000 yards this year but Pead will slowly start taking a larger role in the offense.

Kendall Wright WR (TEN)

It's true, I have two Titans in my second edition of Fantasy Football Sleepers. Even though he's behind Kenny Britt and Nate Washington on the dept chart he has a ton of penitential. He's learned all three WR positions and will be used mostly in the slot. The Titans were smart using their 20th pick on him since Britt's knee as well as other off the field problems will keep him off the field for at least the first four games of the season, if not more. I look for him to shine when he fills in for Britt and to push Washington for more playing time.

Randall Cobb WR (GB)

Since 2006 Donald Driver's receptions have gone down year after year. Cobb is in-line to take over the slot position sometime this year. He has already won the kick-off and punt return role and is a big upgrade over Driver. Once Cobb takes over the slot position he will be a top 30 WR but he'll still have to fight for receptions with Jennings, Nelson and Finley on the roster.

Jermaine Gresham TE (CIN)

Gresham is entering his 3rd year in the league and is poised to take the next step to be a top tier TE. Still only 24 years old he has yet become a big star like many had projected. I think this will be the year he jumps into the top 12. He's a big target in the red-zone and will continue to be a main part of the Bengals offense. If it's late in your draft and you want a solid TE2 draft Gresham with confidence.

2012 Fantasy Football Busts

Matt Schaub QB (HOU)

The Texans have become a run first team and that has shown as Schaub's passing attempts have gone down each year from 2009. He only threw over 300 yards twice last year and isn't a sure bet to stay healthy again this year. Foster is the guy in town that will carry this team, not Schaub.

Frank Gore RB (SF)

Gore finished with 299 total touches last year but he had a large drop off in the passing game. Last year Gore had 17 catches while in the previous two years he had 98 total. His burst is gone and so is his big play ability. Brandon Jacobs was brought into town to steal goal-line work as well. Let's someone else deal with this headache.

Michael Turner RB (ATL)

Turner was a workhorse, evident by his 635 carries in the last 2 season. He also didn't miss a game but that will start to tail off this year. What still saves him is his goal-line work but he won't break 250 touches this year. He's a good RB3 but I wouldn't count on him as one of my two main RBs. The Falcons will also open up their passing attack under offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis RB (CIN)

I know he scored 24 touchdowns in the last 2 season but he's not in New England anymore. I'm not saying the Bengals are bad but they won't have as many goal-line opportunities as the Patriots. With Bernard Scott set to steal about half the carries B.G.E. should only be taken after the 8th round. Anything before that is way too early.

Sidney Rice WR (SEA)

Don't get me wrong Rice has upset but it's totally offset by his injury risk. He has had 3 concussions in a 12 month span. He is the Javid Best of wide receivers. Matt Flynn is a big upgrade over Tarvaris Jackson but Rice is too shaky to count on week-in and week-out basis. I rather draft Robert Meachem (SD).

Vincent Jackson WR (TB)

Jackson has never had more than 70 catches in a season which is understandable since he's a down-field threat but he won't even come close this year. The Bucs are a run first team with a new head coach Greg Schiano. He should still break 1,000 yards receiving but it's going to be very close. I wouldn't take him before the 6th round.

Santonio Holmes WR (NYJ)

The last time Holmes was a game changer was back in 2009 when he had Big Ben throwing to him. Sanchez and Tebow don't have the arm strength or the accuracy to make Holmes better. He barely broke 50 catches in his last two season with the Jets and with the Jets going back to the run more this year look for Holmes to drop off even more.

Dallas Clark TE (TB)

It doesn't look good for the Bucs passing game if two of their options are on my "Fantasy Busts" list. Forget his name for a moment and look at his numbers. His best year ever was back in 2009 when he had 100 catches for 1106 yards and 10 TDs. I would be shocked if he had half those stats this year. At 33 he's only going to get worse, stay away.

Matt Flynn QB (SEA)

After playing backup behind one of the best QBs in the league Matt Flynn has a chance to show the league why he was one of the most highly regarded free agents this year. He has the talent around him with Rice, Tate, Miller and Lynch. The Seahawks should be fighting for the NFC West title in 2012.

Matt Cassel QB (KC)

Cassel is coming off a bad year in 2011 were he only started 9 games. The Chiefs are loaded on offense but their defense will need to keep them in games. Cassel has one of the best supporting casts in the league with Charles, Bowe, Breaston, Baldwin and Moeaki. The signing of Peyton Hillis will help grind out the tough inside the numbers.

Steven Ridley RB (NE)

Ridley showed flashes late last year which opened a lot of eyes. He's a solid three down back that will carry the bulk of the load in New England. Joseph Addai was signed in the off season but I don't expect him to challenge a better talented back in Ridley.

David Wilson RB (NYG)

The Giants didn't use their 32nd pick in the draft for this guy to ride the bench. Wilson is very explosive but he has to work on pass protection to get more snaps. He will play a complimentary role next to Ahmad Bradshaw were his role will grow as the season progresses.

Mikel Leshoure RB (DET)

Leshoure says he's 100% healthy after his Achilles surgery in the off-season. He'll be suspended the first two games of the season which means Leshoure might not get drafted in your league. Javid Best is one big hit away from going down and Kevin Smith isn't a workhorse anymore. If healthy Leshoure has a chance to lead the team in rushing TDs.

Eric Decker WR (DEN)

I compare Decker to Jordy Nelson from last year. I don't think he'll score 15 TDs but he has a real shot at hitting double digits touchdowns. Plus the signing of Peyton Manning will help everyone on offense and defense. He's being drafted in the 6th to 8th rounds, anywhere after that is a steal.

Torrey Smith WR (BAL)

Baltimore being known as a run-first team is about to open the playbook some more with the emergence of Smith. His big play ability will help Baltimore stretch the field and give Joe Flacco the deep threat he's been looking for. He won't come close to 90 catches but he should reach 1,000 yards. That's not bad for a WR who's being drafted between the 9th and 12th rounds.

Robert Meachem WR (SD)

Drew Brees didn't like seeing Meachem go but he's going to a team where he'll be the go-to guy in San Diego. Philip Rivers will look to replace Vincent Jackson and Meachem is that guy. I think he'll go over 1,100 yards and come close to double digit TDs. Don't be afraid to draft him anywhere after the 6th round.

Jacob Tamme TE (DEN)

This is probably the deepest position in fantasy football. After Gronkowski and Graham there is a huge drop-off. Wait on drafting a TE and you could have Tamme in the 10th through 13th round. Manning loves his TEs and he didn't push the Broncos to sign him so he could block. He will definitely finish in the top 10 for TEs this year.

Brandon Pettigrew TE (DET)

Pettigrew has never caught more than 5 TDs but his yards make up for that. With Calvin Johnson drawing so much attention Pettigrew gets a lot of single coverage looks. Detroit's pass happy offense keep Pettigrew involved even though their WRs get a lot of work. He's another TE that can break into the top 10 with ease.

NFL Gambling Solution - Divisional Round

What a wild bunch of games we had last weekend. We all saw Tim Tebow shock the world and defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Giants easily defeated the Falcons. Saints made some adjustments and pulled away in the second half against the Lions. The Texans win with their running game being too much for the Bengals defense to handle. Now, we're down to eight teams and the top two teams from each division get into action. Which team will stay hot and which team will drop the ball. Let's break down each game this weekend.

GAME 1: Saints (-3.5) at 49ers - Over/Under 46.5

This will be a classic match-up of a high powered offense going against a stout defense. The Saints don't have a great playoff record on the road and the Niners haven't been in the playoffs since 2002. This is probably one of the hardest games to bet on since that 1/2 a point could make or break your bet. I do think the game will be under 46.5 points. The Saints and the Niners have solid running games which will kill some clock. If I had to bet my life on it I would go with my gut feeling and select the Saints over the 49ers. The 49ers defense will keep it close but you can't hold Drew Brees down for 4 quarters.

Final Score: Saints 24 San Fran 13

GAME 2: Broncos (+13.5) at Patriots - Over/Under 49.5

The most anticipated game of the week will be one of the most dullest. The game might be close in the first half but like we saw in week 15 the Patriots offense is on a different level compared to the Broncos. (NE 41 DEN 23) Brady has been preparing for this game as if it was the Super Bowl. He might not have great WRs but he has the best TE tandem in the NFL to go along with the best slot receiver in Welker. The Patriots will keep their foot on the gas and pour on the points tonight in a blow out. The Broncos would have fared better against the Ravens but their run will end tonight.

Final Score: Patriots 38 Broncos 20

GAME 3: Texans (+7.5) at Ravens - Over/Under 36.5

This might be the least watched game of the weekend. No one is really giving the Texans a fighting chance to win this game and I tend to agree. Without Matt Schaub the Texans are one dimensional. Playing the Ravens is tough but playing them at home in a divisional round playoff game is another story. The Ravens balanced attack with Ray Rice and Joe Flacco will be too much for the best defense in the league. Arian Foster will try his best to carry his team but he can only do so much. The Ravens will pull away in the second half and put the Texans Super Bowl dreams on ice.

Final Score: Ravens 23 Texans 13

GAME 4: Giants (+7.5) at Packers - Over/Under 53

Will history repeat it's self Sunday night? I remember this game in 2007 when the Giants beat the Packers in OT 23-20 to win the NFC Championship. The Giants are going into this game the same way they were four years ago, as under dogs. I'm really looking forward to this game and I can't wait to see the quarterback dual between Rodgers and Manning. This will be a back and forth game and the team with the last possession will win the game. I'll be pulling for my Giants to win but I think Rodgers is playing on a level that we have never seen before. The Giants front four need to apply pressure for this game to stay close. If Rodgers has time he will pick apart the Giants secondary. This game will be a nail bitter but Rodgers will pull it out in the end.

NFL Gambling Solution - Wild Card Weekend

The Playoffs have arrived! Just in time to continue my winning ways. I was up and down this NFL season but I was able to finish 3 games above 500. It's looking like another difficult weekend to make picks and parlays but I'm going to give it my best shot. This is do or die time and teams with better defenses usually win in the playoff games. Throughout the playoffs I'm going to pick the winners of these games. Remember to bet on teams going into the playoffs hot, like the Packers last year and the Giants a few years back. Both were #6 seeds and had all their games on the road. Everyone assumes that the Patriots and Packers will face off this year in the Super Bowl but who is that dark horse that will rise to Super Bowl greatness? Will it be the Ravens, Niners, Saints or will it be the Giants, Steelers or Lions who come out and shock the world.

The Bengals are getting +3 points on Saturday against the best defense in the NFL. I'm not too worried since I picked the Bengals as my moneyline pick of the week. The Bengals have a solid run defense and a better offense attack. I know the Texans have Arian Foster but the Bengals will stack the box and force T.J Yates to beat them. Andre Johnson still isn't at a 100% and Owen Daniels has been hot/cold. This will be a low scoring game and I think the Bengals will win by a FG late in the game.

Final Score: Bengals 20 Texans 17

The offensive show will be on display Saturday night when the Lions roar south to New Orleans and red hot Drew Brees. I as well as everyone else expect this game to be a barn burner. Both QBs are red hot going into the match with high flying WRs. The Lions have the edge with Calvin Johnson but the Saints have the dominate edge in the running game. This game will boil down to special teams and defense. Which defense will make more stops? Which team will control ball possession? The more I evaluate this game the more I think the Saints are going to squeak by a victory. The spread has the Lions getting +10.5 points. I would take the points and hope for a shootout. The Lions can hang with anyone in the league but their inexperience will cut short their dreams of moving on in the playoffs.

On Sunday afternoon we have a close match up between the Giants and the Falcons. This game is a battle between brothers. I say that because both teams are mirror imagines of each other. Both have solid defense and balanced offenses. Both teams won big last last week to push their way into the playoffs and are looking to stay hot. This game will ultimately decided by quarterback play. Can Matty "Ice" take his team into MetLife stadium and pull out a win? The Falcons are getting +3 point which goes to show you how close this game can be. I just don't think the Falcons have what it takes to going to the Meadowlands and beat the Giants on Sunday. Eli will spread the ball around and pick apart the Falcons secondary and pull away late in the second half.

Final Score: Giants 27 Falcons 17

And then there was the Steelers at the Broncos. The classic David vs. Goliath. Tim Tebow and the Broncos are ice cold backing their way into the playoffs while the Steelers are limping along with a bruised and battered offense. The majority of experts think the Steelers are going to kill the Broncos, hence the Steelers favored by -8 points but I think other wise. The weather, low 30's with a chance of snow, isn't going to be a factor since both teams are cold weather teams. The running game is going to be key here. The Broncos have the edge here with McGahee and Tebow making plays on the ground. Big Ben has the edge in the passing game even though he has a bum ankle. Even though Mile High will be praying for Tim Tebow and the Broncos to bring them to victory the Steelers are too experienced to lose. Experience > Excitement
