Our continuous search for game changing technologies has led to our recent partnership with Snapizzi, a one of a kind suite of imaging tools; designed to simplify the management, organization, and sales of event photographs. For several months we have been working directly with Jesper Sondergaard, founder of Snapizzi and a former Getty Images executive. Our collaboration has led to the development of a robust system designed especially for event photography that is fast, efficient, intuitive and adaptable to the needs of our demanding corporate clients.

We are confident that our partnership with Snapizzi will allow us to enhance the experience of event photography for our clients, in ways that our competition cannot.

Briefly, Snapizzi technology provides the technology to identify each individual photograph and organize it with a unique ID code. Think barcodes for photographs, with the ability to search at the most granular level: by the individual.

The following is a description that will clarify how the technology can be used to add value to the event photography experience:

1. Pre Event: We work with our clients to gather attendees information, typically the attendees name and email address.

2. Pre Event: We develop/design/deploy an event branded website landing page that will be the point of entry for all event guests.

3. Pre Event: We create a group of IZ tags that can be combined with event name badges, or printed on a variety of media. Each of these IZ tags has a unique 3-D barcode and IZ number.

4. During the Event: We photograph the attendees wearing their IZ tag.

5. During the Event: We edit, retouch and upload the images hourly/daily to our image management system, which automatically reads the IZ tags, sorts the images, and creates online galleries for each individual attendee.

6. During the Event and Post Event: Attendees visit the website landing page, log in with an email address, and enter their unique IZ tag number. This is where the magic really happens… The Snapizzi system matches the search tag with all of the photos in our database that contain that unique IZ tag… and then displays the images in an easy to browse online gallery. Attendees can review photos, order prints, order mouse pads, coffee mugs, etc… or email their images. And, all of this is done without the attendee having to search through hundreds or thousands of images from their event. Of course, if the attendees want to see all of the photos, they are also available in an online gallery.
(Note: email addresses can be captured and stored by our login system for follow ups, traffic analysis and email harvesting)

7. During the Event and Post Event: Need to find a photo of the CEO taken during the Awards Banquet? Done. Need to know how many times the VP of Marketing has been photographed during an event? Done. Need a list of all of the attendees who have not had their photo taken? Done. Once the photos are in our system, they are just another field in a database… which means they can be sliced and diced and analyzed and reported and tracked and analyzed. Pretty cool, huh?

Here are a couple of examples of this system in action:
We used this system at The National Memorial Day Parade, in Washington, D.C.. The name tags had already been produce so we improvised and printed IZ tags for the event VIPs. The VIPs were asked to wear a 4″ X 2″ inch adhesive tag.
Here are the results. After four hours of shooting, our photographers selected and uploaded 1,734 images in one online gallery. Who would look through all of those photos to find a single photo of themselves? Unfortunately, our experience tells us not many will.

Selected as an official VIP photographer for the National Memorial Day Parade, the NFrame team was given unequaled access to the parade route and the VIP area for dignitaries and celebrities. The parade, which drew almost 300,000 patriotic Americans, was a day long tribute to the men and women of the armed services.

Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna were on hand to serve as Grand Marshalls.

The parade was the debut of NFrame Photography’s amazing new image tagging technology. With the help of our new partners the technology allows the VIPS  to instantly find their images online after the event without having to sort  through hundreds (or thousands) of photos to find the perfect image.

This technique uses special software to combine multiple exposures of the same scene into a single image.
The results are truly amazing, and are often described as surreal, painterly, or hyper realistic.

Children and their families were photographed on green screen with their favorite costumed characters: Clifford the Big Red Dog®, Maya & Miguel™, and WordGirl™. The photos were combined with a fun background and custom designed foreground graphics. Guests were then treated to instant lab quality, matted 5×7 images.  WOW WHAT A TREAT!!! The children and their families were all smiles as the NFrame team shot, composited and printed free photos for one and all.
