We celebrated Mother’s Day with a delicious slow cooked chicken dish followed by a white chocolate cheesecake. Yum!
All the trees in our yard turned orange, yellow and red before all but blowing away in the winter wind.
We had a date night at the cinema and saw ‘The Great Gatsby’.
And enjoyed one very lazy Sunday. A rarity in itself.
The last few weeks have been a bit of whirlwind to say the least, so after much debate (in my own head that is) I’ve decided I need to take a mini break from blogging. It's not you, it's me. Really :)
Rather than spend another month beating myself up over sporadically posting somewhat disconnected content, I'm hoping that after a time out for myself for the whole month of May…eek, I will come back refreshed and full of renewed enthusiasm.

Well peeps, after a few chilly nights and early mornings I think it's safe to say that Autumn has arrived. I love this time of year because while the days are still sunny and bright, at night I can curl up with a cozy blanket. Best of both worlds right?
