I truly believe that most people are failing online, or in their business, because they are NOT implementing due to fear of failure. It’s time to get over that fear RIGHT NOW and start implementing new sills, techniques and strategies into your business.

“Happy Valentines Day!”

What do you think when you hear that?  Cards?  Chocolates?  Gifts?  Hallmark Holiday?

Truth is, most of forget what to really think about.  What Valentines day is really all about… LOVE!

I have to admit.  I used to think that Valentines Day was just a “Hallmark Holiday” designed to make money for yet another big corporation.  But, that was before I truly appreciated and understood all of the Love that is around me on a daily basis.

Fact is, in today’s society that finds it hard to look up from our laptops, phones, gadgets, coffees, energy drinks for more than 3 seconds to even say hi to one another… we NEED Valentines Day.  We NEED a day dedicated to feeling, to receiving and, most importantly, to giving the one thing that truly makes the world such an amazing place… LOVE.

Think about your greatest moments in life for a second.  Without question, most of them involve the giving, receiving, or feeling of love for somebody or something.

I want to challenge you today to give this day it’s true deserve and to put out as much LOVE into the world as possible.  Tell everyone that makes your life more amazing that you love them.  Truly feel the love that is given to you and give it back 1000 times over to somebody else.

It’s amazing to “feel” love when it is given to you, but to appreciate and to really feel the power of love, you MUST be able to give love back to the world.  Love is the most amazing gift  in the world and it ALWAYS feels better to give than to receive.

Start with those that it’s easy to give love to.  Those that are a part of your life and contribute to it’s abundance.  Give them some love today.  Feel the love that you have for them, appreciate the love that you have for them, and give it back 1000 times over.  But realise that the power of love doesn’t stop with those closest to us and that it’s not just about “giving” more love, it’s about “being” more loving.

Not just to those closest to us, but to ALL things, to all people.  Come from a place of giving love at all times and see what happens.  BE a loving person and see what happens.  There is love and abundance all around us every second of the day.  We choose whether or not to feel it.  We choose whether or not to BE a part of it. 

I challenge you right now to BE a part of the love and abundance that’s around you at all times.  I challenge you to GIVE as much love to the world as possible.  I challenge you to be unconditional with your love (yes, the crabby clerk on the other side of the counter needs love too!)  I challenge you to feel and give love in every situation in life and see what happens.  Even if you feel some sort of lack… GIVE.  Give to somebody else what you feel you are missing and see what happens.

LOVE really is what makes the world go ’round.  As cliche as that sounds, it’s 100% true.  Challenge yourself and those around you to give love UNCONDITIONALLY.  Challenge yourself to BE more loving.

When we can come from a place of love at all times, we can appreciate and experience life and it’s abundance on an entirely new level.

Ok… so now you know that YOU are your business, it’s time to learn how to plaster YOU all over the internet and look like an expert in the next 14 days or less.  By following the instructions in this post… you will OWN the search engines for your name.  When people come searching for you, they will see an expert who provides tremendous value.

And what do you think this means for you?  I’ll tell you… more leads, more signups, more sales, and more SUCCESS!

Here is your 14 day action plan to plaster yourself all over the internet and own the search engines for your name.  You will need only 5 things:

1. A blog
2. A Facebook FAN account
3. A Twitter account
4. A Youtube account
5. A little elbow grease

Step 1:  Get a Blog Set Up ASAP!

If you don’t have a blog yet, you absolutely need one.  Your blog will serve as YOU central.  It will be your main source of providing FREE value to people.  Here are the steps to getting your blog set up…

1. Register the domain www.YOURNAME.com – You want it to be your name for a couple of reasons.  First, it’s great branding.  Second, and very important, is that the search engines will love it and rank it higher.  Remember, the entire purpose here is to dominate the search engines for your name.  The more you make the search engines love you, the easier that will be.  You can register a domain name at www.godaddy.com
2. Get hosting - You absolutely want to host your blog on your own servers.  You can get hosting for less than $8 a month at Hostgator.  The cool thing about Hostgator is that you can install a blog on your server in just one step that’s as easy as clicking your mouse.
3. Install Blog – After you have your domain name and your hosting, log into www.YOURNAME.com/cpanel.  When you log in, scroll down to the “software/services” tab and click on the Fantastico option:

    

4. On the left navigation menu, you will see “Wordpress.”  Simply click that and follow the simple instructions to install your blog.  It is push button easy.

Ok… so now that you have a blog installed, you need to add VALUEABLE content to it.  Because this is a new blog… you want to add content to it for a minimum of 7-10 straight days.  The more days, the better.  After the initial 10 days, you should post 2 to 3 times per week… minimum.

Where to get content.  If you are new and saying “I am new… what do I post…”  here are some of my favorite spots for FREE, valueable content.  Learn something new at these resources EVERY DAY,and then blog about what you learned.  In addition to giving you some amazing content to post on your blog, learning from these sites daily will contribute to your success and help you to become a real expert in the industry.

Important note:  Do not copy and paste from these sites.  LEARN something new every day, put it into your own words and post it on your blog.  Remember to post VALUEABLE content that will help others to be successful.  Try and over deliver on value as much as possible.  You can link out to your company or opportunity from your posts AFTER you have provided some value.  People will be more open to clicking on them when you are coming off as somebody who is providing value and tying to help as opposed to somebody who is force feeding their opportunity.

Tips for optimizing content (posts) for the search engines:  Be sure to include your name in the post and if you can, in the title of the post.  Be natural about it.  an easy way to do this is to always sign off at the end of each post.  For example, I write things like:

Final Note:  You can install some really cool FREE themes to make your blog look unique.  Simply google “Free Wordpress Themes” and a ton of really cool sites will come up.  Do not spend days or hours trying to find the perfect theme.  For now, just get something that is clean and professional.  You can always change it later.  The object here is to get your name plastered all over the internet as quickly as possible.

Step 2:  Get a Facebook FAN Page

Notice I said “FAN” page.  Fan pages are cool for a few reasons.  Most importantly.. they rank in the search engines.  Plus, they have no limit to the number of fans.  Regular facebook accounts have a 5000 “friend” limit.   You don’t want to limit the number of people who can learn from and follow you.  A fan page allows you to be a little more business focused.  Your facebook fan page is NOT to be a place where you post a bunch of junk that nobody really cares about.  It’s not a place where you are joining games and other “waste of time” activities.

Your fanpage is going to be a place where you interact with your “fans” on a personal and professional level.  Allow them to get to know you while you continue to provide them with amazing value and content.  The focus of your fan page is to build relationships with people and provide value.  You want to establish yourself as a person that people WANT to follow.  Check out and become a fan of my fanpage to see what I mean.

So… here’s what to do:

1. Get a facebook fanpage here – Be sure to make your username YOUR NAME.  This will help with search engines.
2. Post Valueable content DAILY

NOTE:  Be sure to become a fan of my page to get training, mentoring, success tips and to get a free look at how to run a successful Facebook fan page.  Click here and become a fan right now.  I love to give free recognition and interact with my fans, so it’s a great chance to interact directly with someone highly successful and get some recognition that will help build your business.

Step 3:  Get a Twitter Account

Twitter is another excellent spot to continue to build your brand while providing valueable content.  Just like your fan page, your Twitter account should be used to build your brand and provide value to those who are choosing to follow you.  Remember, you want people to WANT to follow you.  If you are posting about what you had for lunch on a daily basis, or other useless stuff… who is really going to look forward to your posts?

Steps to getting Twitter account:

1. Goto www.Twitter.com
2. Register an account with the username being YOUR NAME.  This is important for the search engine recognition.  For example, mine is www.twitter.com/nickbramble.  If you have a Twitter account already that does not utilize your name, get a new one.
3. Post VALUEABLE content on a daily basis (especially in the first 14 days) that makes people look forward to hearing from you.

Step 4:  Get a Youtube Account

If you aren’t doing videos yet on a regular basis… what the heck are you thinking!  If you are afraid, or uncomfortable for some reason about getting into the video world, here’s 3 words for you… GET OVER IT!

Video is an absolute MUST in today’s age.  There is NO better, more personal way to interact with lots and lots of people at a single time.  Video allows you to ”connect” with people in a way that text, and audio just don’t allow.  You can look into the camera and when somebody is watching the video from the other end, it’s like you are talking to them directly.  It’s very powerful.  Plus… the search engines still LOVE Youtube!  So, it’s a great way to rank not only for your own name, but as you get more into video marketing, you can use it to help you rank for any term that you want to.

Bottom line… if you want to be successful in this industry, video is a MUST.

Steps for getting a Youtube account and using it to get your name all over the search engines:

1. Get a youtube account here
2. Make sure that your username includes YOUR NAME.  for example, my youtube account is www.youtube.com/nickbramblevideo
3. Post content driven videos as often as possible.  Especially in this first 14 days while you are trying to get as much content into the search engines as possible.

Here’s a tip for you for content.  Use the content you are already posting and “read” it into your camera to make a video.  This way, you can get two uses out of a single source of content.

Some tips to optimize your videos correctly:

• When you upload a video, it will give you an option to put a title, description, and keywords.  During this first 14 days when you are trying to get your name all over the search engines, make sure that the title includes YOUR NAME.  In the description, make sure that the first thing you type is your blog address (making sure to include the http://)  For example, if I made a video and wanted to link to my blog in the description, the first thing I would type is:  http://www.nickbramble.com.  I would then include my name in the description as well.  Finally, for keywords, be sure to use your name.

Ok… so now we have FOUR different resources that google loves and that if you are posting daily will start to rank in the search engines really quickly.  You can now own nearly half of the first page of google.  So when somebody types your name into the search engines, you are already DOMINATING the results!  But, I am going to show you how to take it to the next level and have content showing across MULTIPLE pages.

Step 5:  A Little Extra Elbow Grease

If you take this next step, along with posting daily at the resources above, you can dominate multiple pages in the search engines and look like a total expert.  This next step you should be doing IN ADDITION to the above.

Post an article a day EVERY DAY for 14 days at www.ezinearticles.com

The search engines, google especially,  LOVES this article site.  The articles that you write there can show up within 24 hours in the search engines.  So, if you write a content driven, value based article every day for 14 days and submit it to EzineArticles, you will have multiple pieces of content flying all over the internet.  If you are providing valueable content, you are looking like an expert that people will want to know more about.  An expert that people will trust when looking to start and join a business online.

Steps to posting articles and dominating the search engines for you name:

1. Get an account at www.ezinearticles.com
2. It allows you to set up a profile with multiple links.  Be sure to write a little blurb about yourself and include all of the links from above in the links section (your blog, facebook, twitter, and youtube)
3. Write an valueable, content driven article EVERY DAY for 14 days.  (See content links above for places to learn new info and skills to write about.)
4. To best optimize for your name, include your name in the title AND body of the article.  The title is most important.  Make sure that each article has your name in the title.
5. Each article you post will include an author box.  Include info about you, your name, and your lnks in the author box.  You can include multiple links in the author box, or… vary the links you put there.  For example, in one article include your blog link, in another, your facebook link, etc.

HOT TIP:  Link to the post pages of your blog as well as the main blog page.  This will get MULTIPLE pages of your blog indexed and showing up in the search engines.

If you do this final step, you will not only have content across multiple pages in the search engines, but when people search for you, they will see that you are an expert in the industry.  An expert that is worth learning from, following, and eventually partnering with (joining whatever company you are a part of, buying your products, etc.).

Ok… so you now have a 14 day action plan to totally dominate the search engines for your name.  This is a super simple action plan that ANYONE can do and that can, and should, be started TODAY.

If you are not promoting YOU online, you are setting yourself up for failure.  I am not joking when I say that this blog post can change this industry.   Too many people are failing because they join a company and do nothing but talk about how great the company is, how great the products are, how unique the compensation plan is etc.  Guess what… there are literally thousands of companies out there all offering basically the same thing.

What will really set you apart is becoming a person that offers extraordinary VALUE.  Remember this… whenever a person gets started in an online business.. they are joining the PERSON, not the business.  Knowing that, it makes no sense to be company focused… right?

Does that title even make any sense?  It will in a second… let me explain by first allowing you to read one of the most powerful statements that you may ever read when it comes to being successful…

“The amount of wealth that you create in this industry is directly proportional to the amount of VALUE that YOU provide.”

To clear up the title of this post, most people in this industry are simply promoting their business up front without paying any attention to VALUE.  This will kill your online business.  What it is that the company you are promoting supplies in terms of product, compensation plan, etc. gives YOU no value.  What the company provides is their value, not yours.

You need to develop value within yourself that YOU can provide to others.  To put it bluntly, when you are not providing value to others, you do not DESERVE success.  To be successful, you have to be valuable in some way, shape, or form to others.

What you need to understand to help you fully take this in, is that you are NOT promoting a company, or products, or compensation plan.  You are promoting YOU.  YOU are your business.  When you have that realization, it is easy to see that YOU must have some value to provide in order to be successful.

The amount of value that you can provide, plus the amount of people that you can provide your value to… determines your overall success.  The really cool thing about this industry is that YOU get to determine how much value that you can provide, and how many people that you can provide this value to.  Which means ultimately… YOU determine the amount of success you are able to achieve.

Did you read that? YOU are responsible for your own success.  If you can handle that responsibility, your potential to create wealth in this industry truly has no limits.

Take responsibility for your business (YOU Inc.) right now and go out and start accumulating VALUE.  Give people a reason to choose YOU.  Because at the end of the day… YOU are what you are promoting.  YOU are your business.

There is tremendous power in Dreams.  But dreams are only realized through hard work, dedication, passion, and the proper ACTION taken to make that dream come true. 

In my experience in working with lots of “Dreamers,” there are actually two types of dreamers…. an ”Action Dreamer” and a “Wishful Dreamer.”

While it’s good to have dreams and to be a dreamer… being the wrong kind of dreamer can actually sabotage any dreams that you may have and result in those dreams never being realised.

So what’s the difference?

Well… if you are a “Wishful Dreamer,” you have dreams, but the only step that you take to realise those dreams is to “wish” that things would happen.  As a wishful dreamer, you will “wish” for more money, or a better job, or for a more abundant life, but never take any action steps to make anything happen.  This not only results in none of your dreams being realised, but creates a state of self destruction and frustration as you feel like nothing every happens “for you.”

I have some news for you, nothing just “happens” for you or anyone else.  Dreams do not simply “come true.”  Every dream that you achieve, or do not achieve in life is a direct result of the actions that you take or do not take.  If you have dreams that you want to be realised, you must take ACTION to MAKE them happen.

And it goes even further than just taking action.  You have to take the RIGHT action.  For example… if you are dreaming about having a better financial situation, buying a lottery ticket is not the right action.  Doing that puts you in the ”wishful” mentality where you are wishing that something miraculous will happen so that you can realise your dream.

If you are an “Action Dreamer,” you are in position to realise all of your dreams.  As an action dreamer, you have a dream and then you take the right action steps to realise those dreams.  Action dreamers do not wish for anything, or hope that things will happen for them.  Action dreamers say “I want this… and I am going to do this to make it happen.”  As an action dreamer, you take responsibility for yourself and for your life.  you know that YOU are in charge of your life and that YOU create the life and the dreams that you desire.

Action dreamers believe in themselves and know that anything is possible if they just want it bad enough.  Action dreamers are willing work hard to make it happen. 

Action dreamers are successful people who’s dreams are realised on a regular basis.

There is also a “Snowball Effect” to dreams being realised when you CHOOSE to be an action dreamer (yes, everything in life is a CHOICE made by YOU).  As you take the proper steps to make your dreams come true, dreams are realised and your belief, trust, and love in yourself grows.  Dreams become grander, your belief in yourself intensifies, and soon you KNOW that anything in life is possible. 

When you know that anything in life is possible, you appreciate life in ways that most cannot even comprehend.  When you appreciate life, you can actually LIVE life.  You see, most people go through life, they don’t actually LIVE life.  They don’t appreciate the magic of each and every moment.  Every moment in life is magical.

When you can feel the “magic” of every moment in life, you achieve levels of abundance in life that cannot be measured by money, cars, houses, or things.  You experience the true abundance of life and of having the chance to live it to it’s full potetial.

Remember this as you dream about having more time,more money, more freedom, or more abundance in your life… Dreams do not just come true, they are MADE to become true through hard work, dedication, a passion towards reaching that dream, and MASSIVE ACTION to make it happen.

And when YOU MAKE them happen, truly magical things can happen.
