I so often shoot a wedding in a house like this and wished I had the time to shoot a model here, so this was a great opportunity for me to include some of the fantastic venue features in the photos.  I shot the entire shoot with natural light and high ISO or using HMI continuous lighting from a Kobold soft light or my Lupo unit for hard light.

This was my first shot of the day, a beautiful reflection of Katy in the mirror in the corner of the room next to the window. I was using natural light from the window to the right as the key light and a soft light high to the left as a fill/kicker light. This was shot on a monopod at 1/80 @ f/2.8

This shot of Victoria was shot in the same corner of the bridal suite as the above image, I placed Victoria looking out of the window to get very soft light onto her face and used the same soft light from behind as a kicker, again shot using 1/80 @ f/2.8

This was one of my last shots of the day downstairs in the library, it was getting very dark at this point. I placed Katy in the corner in her beautiful dress and lit her with just a soft light high to me left. This was shot on a monopod at 1/60 @ f/4

Here I wanted to shoot art, not boudoir, not glamour.  So I had to keep this sensual and beautiful, to do this I decided to loose eye contact and shape Victoria’s body right. I shot this with a soft light high to my right and on a monopod using 1/80 @ f/2.8

Here I placed Katy on the table with just covered with a piece or red fabric using two window for the light source, the window in view is the kicker and the window to my right provided key light. I shot this on a monopod at 1/60 f/2.8 3200 ISO.
