I’ve hit 500 posts! I started this blog 4 years ago when I was just a few weeks pregnant with our little man.

I know I have a good amount of readers, so leave me some love by telling me how long you have been following my blog.

To celebrate 500 posts, here are my kids….the reason I started this blog in the first place.

Our little super hero. He ties his “blankie” around his neck as his cape…because he is a Super Hero and he can fly, ya know. We had an disagreement the other day because he wanted to “fly” off the couch. He couldn’t understand why I was telling him no, because in his mind he can fly!

And I thought this girl was going to be my quiet, shy one. Turns out I was wrong. She is an EXTREME people person and very alert. (They must get it from the Italian in me!) She just wants someone to look at her and talk to her. If so, she smiles and coos all day long.

She also furrows her brow often, like she is really trying to understand what you are saying.

Not sure what is going one here…

Love cloth diapering! I’ll blog about it soon.

Sage had a major growth spurt so she had to get a new brace. As you can see, she isn’t phased at all by this massive contractions. Love this girl!

Once again…NO PANTS!

That’s all folks!

It’s a beautiful thing watching Abel love on Sage. He constantly squeezes her checks (sometimes a little too hard) and says “Oh, Sageee Sageee…I love you. You are sooooo cute!” And you can see in Sage’s eyes how she just adores him. She constantly is staring at him and when she hears his voice (which is often since he never stops talking) she tries to find him with her eyes. The other day, Abel was talking to her and she gave him a big smile and Abel starts shouting, “SHE SMILED AT ME!!! SHE SMILED AT ME!!!”

I love these 2 so much! It had been weeks since I had taken any pictures of them so this past week I made it a point to take a bunch of pictures. I love hanging with these 2 kids!

And yes, my firstborn barely wears clothes, especially now since he knows how to take them off. The other morning, I was greeted by him butt naked throwing a costume in my face.

And I just can’t help myself from putting huge flowers on my daughter’s head.

And a little more Sage love coming at you…And girlfriend is packing on the weight. We all joke that I must produce cream for breastmilk since my babies just exploded after birth.

I couldn’t wait till I could sneak away and snap some pics of my girl in her tutu. I had a few minutes tonight and I love these images.

This girl will never know I much I love her until she has a child of her own.

It was a MUST to get our two newborns together for a photo session. We let our other boys loose and they had a blast destroying the house as we “played photographers”. Sage & Levi are exactly one month apart and Sage looks like a beast next to little Levi.

We couldn’t be more thrilled for Heather, Nick and Owen and we look forward to watching Levi grow.

Born at just 5lbs 11oz, he is pure goodness. Enjoy our “works of art.”

These were taken when Levi was just 2 weeks and Sage was 6 weeks. I realize she looks like a BEAST next to him. We hope soon he will catch up to her, but with Sage’s extreme eating habits she will most likely be bigger than him for awhile. Girl knows how to pack it away. (I also just realized it has be 3 weeks since I have photographed her. She is now 9 weeks old!)

Happy 10th Birthday to my FAVORITE NEPHEW! (I can say that since he is my only nephew, as of now that is. My SIL is due in October with a “surprise” so I might have another nephew soon.)

So happy Seth captured a yawn! Babies are so cute when they yawn.

This one could have been good, but Sage kept sinking down into the basket.

The kids had so much fun with the dead crabs. Every year we catch crabs, but this year they died on us before Seth could cook them. So, the kids enjoyed making “crab soup.”

This monster truck  is on our way to the beach and we knew Abel would enjoy it so we pulled over and had some fun at The Grave Digger’s headquarters.

Sage has been giving us big smiles for about a month and I finally got it on video last week.

In other news, we are so excited to launch our new Nickerson Studios website (way over due…we realize that). I’ll be sure to let you all know when it goes live! I will be blogging all our latest work there. Don’t worry, this blog is staying around just letting you all know there will be another blog out there for you to read.

We have a picture of us as a family of 4! Only took 6 weeks. Kinda sad. We are so that “shoemaker who never has any new shoes”!

Thanks to my brother in-law Graham for snapping this picture. I’m pretty impressed with his skills considering we just handed him the massive camera with the lens that weighs 10lbs and he took it without any problems or complaints! Thanks Graham!

Seven years is how long I have been married to the man of my dreams!

Sadly, with all the chaos and craziness going on in our lives (good stuff) we kinda forgot about our anniversary. We got home really late last night after shooting a wedding and we did remember then and kissed each other and said “Happy Anniversary” at like 12:30am before dozing off to sleep. This morning as we rushing around trying to not be extremely late for church we both get text messages…low and behold, my mother in law sends us a “Happy Anniversary” text and reminded us how we had both forgotten. Ha!

I love you, babe, more than words could express. I wish I had the time to write a long post for my love for Seth, but currently I have a baby sleeping on my chest as I type this and one grumpy toddler begging me to get off the computer.

So to my Seth:
Life has taken us through many different twists & turns, ups & downs and I am so grateful you were the one by my side through all of it. Thank you for being the most adoring husband and loving me on my most awful days when I am not a pleasant girl to be around,. Thank you for taking care of us and providing for our little family. Thank you for being the most amazing daddy to our 2 beautiful children and thank you for being my faithful and brilliant business partner. I love you!

I found this awesome basket in the beach house and knew I needed to put my little model in it and take some pictures of her. I really wanted to steal this basket, but the honest girl in me held back.
