Type “about:config” in your Firefox address bar and press Enter.

Right click anywhere on the list and select New > Boolean from the menu.

Copy and paste network.manage-offline-status into the box and click OK.

Set to false to disable automatic offline mode.

Create shortcuts for switch user, log off, standby and shutdown

Right Click on your desktop and select new > shortcut

Copy and paste the text from one of the code boxes and click next

Switch User:

%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation

Log Off:

shutdown.exe -L

Standby:

%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState

Shutdown:

shutdown.exe -s -t 00 -f

If you want a delay and notification before shutdown, replace the number 00 above with a number in seconds. 00 by itself gives an immediate shutdown without notification.
"-f" forces any running Windows process to close without warning.

Type a name for your shortcut and click finish.

To change the icon right click on it and select properties, click change icon then browse to the location where you have your icons saved. I got mine from here.

Pros:

1) More Powerful than canned air
2) You can use at any angle unlike canned air
3) 12 foot power cord

Cons:

1) Price
2) About as loud as an average vacuum cleaner

Rename a .jpg file "folder" and that image will be used as the thumbnail for the folder in which it resides.

You can also do this by right clicking the folder and selecting properties > customize > choose file.

Type or copy and paste "MaxRichResults" in Filter box.

Double click "browser.urlbar.maxRichResults" or right click and select modify.

Enter the number of results you want default is 12 I use 50 and click OK

Restart Firefox for changes to take effect.

if you want to include only bookmarks or only history in results. Click Tools > Options.

click privacy at top, select what you want included and click OK.

Increase The Amount of Firefox Recently Closed Tabs Shown

type or copy and paste “max_tabs_undo” in the Filter box and hit Enter.

Double click “browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo” or right click and select modify.

Enter the number of tabs you want shown in Recently Closed Tabs and click OK. The default value is 10, I use 20.
