Long time no holler!

Hi Guys,
Long time no post. Hope everyone has been great. I simply cannot believe it has been years since my last post. I lost my blogging mojo due to being uber-busy with school.
When I initially started this blog (before I reverted >90% of my posts back to drafts), I was an undergraduate student. Since then, I have graduated undergrad, graduated with an masters degree, completed a professional degree and I am currently six months away from residency completion! I say all that to say I have been very busy and my priorities changed :(

Lately, I started having the urge to write again so I decided to re-visit my blog. I don't have a pre-determined writing frequency but I promise to at least check in once in a while from now on.

Leaving you with this video because I have watched it a zillion times and I am amused everytime I see it. The lady is a hot-stepper and the gentleman is my new "dancing boo-in-my-head"! LOL!

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas; I am also wishing you all a prosperous 2016!

With Love,
Amazonian Naija Queen

......getting flaked on!!! Why can't people just honor their commitments? Uggghhh!

Random ish

Why do some people have to be sooooo freaking condescending, feeling the need to talk down to others, especially talking down to the less privileged?
The disappointing moment when you realize that someone you've held in high esteem for so long might actually be just another numskull.
I need to learn the choreography to Beyonce's "Dance for you", it just makes me wanna move!!!!
I need to figure out what exactly I want to do with my life and commit to it!
Ever noticed when venting sometimes that you don't get the same satisfaction until you let a few expletives slip?

Hello all,
Long time no holler! I decided to revert all my old posts to drafts and start afresh! Hopefully, I'll be more motivated this time around to blog more about the random ish that happens with me and around me. I attempted deleting the old posts totally but couldn't get myself to do so. This new blog is just going to contain all my random ramblings, no real structure to it. Don't really care for structure at this point :o

I am currently in Las Vegas, here for a conference but I am flying out in about 5 hours.

I have realized lately that my reality isn't exactly the same as others. Some things that excite people to no end have no effect on me. I came with a crew of people that I go to school with for this conference and they've been partying their asses off since we got here but I have opted to stay in nightly. It gets dark early around here (around 4:30pm), and it's too cold outside for that mess.
Also, this is not my first time in Vegas, maybe that's why I am not as excited as I used to be about partying. I kinda have that "been there, done that" approach to Vegas partying.

Random: Is it THAT weird that I am a 25 year old that's never been drunk or tipsy? Why are people always so shocked? Some people care to and live for getting drunk every weekend, I'd much rather do other things with my time.

Anyway, what's been up with you all? Do I even have any readers left at this point? LOL!

Toodles

:)
