Hi Chris - I am lost without this lovely extension in 3.5 - I know you are busy and probably still in far off lands (hope it is going well) but can you find a little time (I am assuming!) to make it OK for 3.5

Deas,

The new JLPT starts July 2010. We’ve been involved with the test creators, and as I understand things, there isn’t really going to be a new list of kanji. They are planning to add a new level between levels 1 and 2, so some of the kanji will be juggled around between the levels, But we haven’t heard anything about the JOYO list actually changing. Did you hear something different?

So I think you are safe to buy the poster now–assuming it’s something you’re interested in. The new JLPT is a year away, and the actual list of kanji list is the same.

Cheers,
Max Hodges
Publisher
White Rabbit Press

AnkiMini for the iPhone/iPod touch was released recently, it syncs with the Anki server and allows you to do reviews offline. The only thing is that because Apple won't support it in its current form, you have to jailbreak to use it. But I've been using it for the past couple days and it's perfect, my whole Anki deck on the go, offline. Here's the link: http://ichi2.net/anki/ankimini/

Hi Chris,
Congratulations ..omedetougozaimasu! Sounds like you're having a great time.
I can see why Papigiulio quite JBP2 in the middle. It changes tempo at that point; suddenly reducing the written tasks, increasing reading tasks and all with a major shift to nominalizing sentences and modifying clauses. Which, for me, is actually quite a nice change. Until recently, I was on JBP3, lesson 5. I've temporarily stopped as I'm reviewing JP1 and JP2. Reason being, I've started a skype language exchange with two guys in Tokyo twice a week so, all my knowledge is being tested. Absolutely great!
Anyway, have a terrific time.
Kind regards, Jeff
