those pages. So crisp were those edges. Slipping and falling at every comma.
Sprinting, dodging every exclamations. When at your end I felt so lonely. Like

Slowly the sun sets out of the metal frame. The nature
darkens while the building burns in the explosion of sparkling lights.
Chirpings of the evening birds is now faded out. I woke up rubbing my eyes,
looking out of the sliding glass. “Did you sleep well?” she asks over my
shoulder. “Yes.” I say turning around. Still in the hangover from the last sip
of alcohol, I brush my hair with a gentle blow of my fingers letting out a deep
breath. “Have a bath, you’ll feel good.” She says directing me towards the
washroom.

               Standing
naked below the shower, feeling each strike of the cold water on my head, I
kept my eyes closed trying to recall the afternoon. There was a blurry image.
Though it was shaken, it was sharply focused in my subconscious. Two bodies lying beside each other.

The room was lighted with its incandescent light. Artificial breeze
was being spread by the rotating blades. I was lying in her lap. Eyes closed.
“How are you feeling now?” she asked looking down. I contracted my lungs. “How
many times did I kiss you?” I said looking at the motion of the blades. “Ooh”
turning my gaze to her. She’s blushing,
she’s pink.

“Lying in her lap, he watched her
talking endlessly. Unable to resist he pulled her down, placing a kiss on her
cheeks. She expected it to be the lips. Grinning, pulling her again, he
completed her wish.”

That felt so… umm… soft. Well, it
was our first. Okay, again.

               Another bottle of alcohol was
gulped down to its bottom. My veins were now running on the fuzziness of that
fermented drink. The clock ticked at midnight. My vision was again going
blurry. The room was now lit in the gaunt ambiance spread by the bulb in the
corner of the room. I found her besides me. Her
pale skin glowing in the dusty light. Lower lip clenched between her teeth.
Those blink in her eyes. Those eyelashes. That blush, that love, that greed.
I was drowning in that beauty she possessed. Placing my hand below her jaw, I
kept caressing her cheeks. I want to kiss
them again. “You’re beautiful!” Her parted lips meet mine. Slowly they
caught rhythm. Exploring each other.
I pull her by her waist, opening my eyes I whisper, “Your lips. They’re so
soft… juicy.” I hear giggles. “I love them.” I blow a small kiss. “Only them?”
She’s teasing me now. “They drive me crazy, so does your smile.” *sighs* “Okay.
You love only this.” She says placing a finger on her lips, “Not me.”

“Of course the whole of you. Everything
about you drives me to a level of insanity… Everything you possess is the
reason for this madness.” I say out loud, “I mean look at you, rather look at me. I have totally soaked myself
into you. You are the one for me… I mean… just too cute… just beautiful…
mesmerizing. Your eyes, sharper than any blade. Smile, addictive even more than
a drug. Your body. You. Everything. I love the whole of you.” She was red,
flaming red. Blushing she said, “I love the whole of you.”

all of that. I guess a little more than that.

People passing by were giving me odd looks, as it was considered to be one of the most irritating games of all time. I just reached a decent 100 when the screen switched to an incoming call notifier. Sliding my thumb across the screen I answered the call, pressing the earpiece in I tried to listen to the voice on the other end.

“Hello... Okay now? Can you?” I said standing up.

“Yes!” The person replied, “Where are you?”

“Canteen.”

The line went dead, navigating me back to the game window, where the bird stood frozen in mid air waiting for a tap on the screen. I did without any further delay, but the bird crashed on the bright green colored pipe. *Game Over*

“Enough!” I said to myself making an exit from the game, opening the media player. I was halfway down my playlist when I remembered the wasted earphone jack and the speaker of my mobile phone. Returning to my home screen, I kept staring at the regularly used application icons.

“Sir!” A guy shouted, pushing my thoughts aside making me think about this ‘Sir’ who comes to the college canteen at these evening hours, making students shout his name with a feeling of excitement.

I was sitting in front of the water cooler, my vision stretched till the coupon counter. And there he was! The loud 'Sir' now made sense to my thoughts. Shaking hands with the guy from the junior college, he came directly towards me. Throwing his backpack over the black marble he made himself comfortable on that humble setting. Wait, 'Sir' can't just come and settle down besides you.

(Ten seconds earlier)

The junior guy made a hustle towards his 'sir', shook hands with him and received his warm blessings. Already done with signing autographs in thin air, ‘Sir’ made a move. I could see him walking towards me, unplugging the ear phones which he shoved into his backpack. Tackling the spiced air in the canteen with his fairly built structure, he set his short trimmed hair. As if it were choreographed, he dabbed clean the few droplets of sweat with his polo t-shirt. As he walked down the lime colored ceramic ramp, he made limelight for himself. Someone had quoted very well, “He walks like a celebrity.” Indeed he does. The charismatic persona, he carried a spotlight over himself making others doubt their own presence. He was Rohan. Mr. ROHAN NAGOTKAR.

(Back to real time)

“Where's everyone?” He asked in his vernacularly urban accent.

“Abhishek just left, Gaurav and Vishal are on their way to college and um... Yea that's it!” I replied.

“Good.” Without any further inquiries he asked, “What’s the scene?”

“What scene are you talking about?”

“The Sayali scene.”

“What are you saying?”

“In simple words, it is always beneficial to be with a writer.” I replied to her baffled reaction.

“And how is that?”

“If a writer falls in love with you, you can never die.” I quoted a line from the internet.

“I'm still not getting you.”

“See, if a guy who is a writer falls in love with a girl, he will compose poems, write stories and quotes for her. And the literal meaning of it is, she will live eternally in his writings.”

“I have decided. I want a writer.” She replied without any hesitation, greedy about an infinite life tied up in someone else's words.

“Well, you're talking to one.”

“Hehe, yes!”

“I know, I'm not that good. But give me a chance. You won't regret.”

“Actually
you're pretty good.”

“So what's the problem?”

“Eh... I don't know.”

“Haha... I'm so bad at flirting.”

“Indeed!”

“Hmm... Better luck next time girl.”

“I wish you luck!” She replied by adding a thumbs up.

“Thanks a lot. I need it.”

“Never mind!” She typed further, “How's it going with Paridhi?”

*sighs*

“The same actually.”

“You talk to her, right?”

“Of course I do.”

“Good! Just wait for things to work out.”

“Yes.”

“Yeah!”

*Awkward silence*

Another ray of hope coming from nowhere.

                                                         - To be continued...

The Second Wave

My heart was pounding hard while the 'Online' status of Paridhi
changed to 'typing...'. It wasn't changing, I thought she was writing a long
essay, 'a long critical appreciation essay'. Two minutes... Three minutes...
Five minutes... Wait. Something's not quiet right. I tried going back to my
conversation window, nothing. The screen stood frozen. It was then that I
realized my phone was hanged to death. Software issues! Removing the battery
pack, I hurriedly pushed it back into the battery compartment. No sooner I
pressed and kept holding the power button, the screen came back to life,
illuminating my face in the dimly lit room. Then came all the unwanted graphics
provided by the manufacturer. A failed attempt to give a warm welcome to the
users. A few more minutes to connect the internet and my mobile phone beeped,
sending vibrations through my palms. "1 new message from Paridhi."
Inhaling a huge amount of midnight oxygen I commanded the device to open it.
"Wow..." Read the message, when the mobile phone beeped again.
"That was a sweet thing you did there. Any girl would love to read
something written for her. And that piece was..."
Quick deep breaths.
"You find any chances?"
"Of course I do!" Replied Sayali, "I told you she's going to
like it. Now the only thing you have to do is talk. Regular talks.
REGULAR!"
Sayali was anxious to know what Paridhi's reaction to the confession was. So I
forwarded her the screenshots of my unwanted, absurd confession to the girl,
Paridhi. After going through all the screenshots, Sayali was now offering me
the "light of hope".
"Well I can manage to do so."
"You have to!"
"I will."
"That's the sprit!" She said adding a winking smiley.

Another normal day. I entered in the vast quadrangle through the foyer of the
senior college building. I have been following the rule of calling or texting
my friends beforehand than arriving at the college and wandering like a loner.
But today, my schedule had shifted a little on the reckless side. I stopped
short in the middle of the quadrangle after realizing I'd arrived alot earlier
than usual. 11 am. Maybe not too early, but I enjoy my final sleeping hours
during this time. Anyways.
Then with a sudden outburst, a familiar voice called out.
"Nikam!"

Shetty and I were sitting on the red roofed stage on the left of the quadrangle.
Talking about our journey in "Ruia". 'Explore. Experience. Excel'.
The sun was pouring its harsh light on the surface. Felt like mid-summer in the
month of February. Both of us moved under the shed on the right.
The last space under the shed is usually
isolated due to the graffiti of shit created by the residential birds, making
the black marble look white. But we were lucky enough to find the place wiped
clean by the housekeepers. A square foot of space was enough for both of us to
settle down our lean torsos. In front of us was the canteen window, where the
juniors were passing time. Off lecture, maybe. They were approximately 30 yards
from us, but I could tell that they were not into any dialogue with each other,
rather punching the mobile phone with their thumbs. To our far right hand,
students had queued up outside the office windows waiting restlessly & sleepily,
at the same time, to get their work done. The quadrangle was totally occupied
to edges thanks to the shade it provided against the sweating winter heat.
We were engaged in a conversation where Shetty was
educating me about how awesome his new phone, 'Nexus 5' is. He showed me some
advanced features supported by the newly launched gadget. Shailesh came in. And
now, he was telling, rather showing off the functions of his not so new iPhone
4s. I was the technically backward guy here. Still on Gingerbread. So I drifted
my conscious away from the current conversation and stared dead at the first
floor chemistry lab's corridor.
While they both were engrossed in the faceoff between iOS and Android, I caught
a glimpse of Aanchal outside the chemistry lab. I kept on looking. It went vacant. Meanwhile Vishwesh joined us.
"I
got myself a new mobile." Vishwesh announced.
"Great!
Which?" I questioned.
"Nexus
5" he declared placing the shining new phone covered in a matt red cover
on my palm.
"Dude,
I have bought the same!" Shetty said.
Now
the three of them kept on arguing which one is better. I pushed my mobile deep
inside my left pocket of the casual trouser.
There
she was again, standing in the corridor. This time I smiled at her waving my
hand at shoulder level. Then came Chetna. She waved at me with her teeth
clinching smile. I waved back. Two short people were behind them. From this
perspective I could only see one of the forehead. One person moved ahead, her
eyes now visible to me. "It's her!" My mind shouted. It was just a
fraction of second when she stepped back. Loud laughs and unclear dialogues
were audible even at this distance, when Aanchal screamed, "Fugga!"
Some
rough movements were seen outside the chemistry lab. Efforts were taken to pull
someone towards the edge of the corridor by Aanchal and Chetna. The person was
indeed 'Sayali', 'Fugga' as they called her. Aanchal came up with this name,
reason her fluffy cheeks which looked like balloon. Even Sayali loved balloons,
so "Fugga". Sayali turned herself and sat on the chair edging the
first floor corridor. She was now facing the opposite side from me. I was
staring dumbly. Aanchal looked at me and smiled. I smiled back. She looked at
Sayali sitting down in front of her, said something, turned her gaze to me,
smiling even more. I looked at Chetna. She was smiling too. I didn't knew the
fourth person, but she was smiling at me too.
"What's
wrong?" I asked myself trying to look away.
Aanchal
pulled up Sayali making her stand. Turning her like a valve, she shouted,
"Rohit!"
I
looked at her. She looked at me already blushing, yet trying to make an obvious
hiding from the unplanned moment. Waving at her I smiled. She waved back.
"Hie!"
That was not even audible. I read the parting of her lips. Benefits of a good
eyesight. Wait! How does that 'hie' sound? I had never heard her voice.
Anyways, keep that thought aside. I kept waving like a fool. Seemed like some
fairytale. Rapunzel standing on the top, dropping her mile long hair for me to
make a climb, reach her and say... Instead I could use the stairs. Yeah that
was a better option. She stood still, not moving an inch. Wow! Felt like the
time has frozen. We were lost in each other. Wait. No! It was Aanchal the time
freezer, who kept holding Sayali from behind, by her waist. With a force full
push Sayali escaped, storming away from my vision. Aanchal followed her. Chetna
still smiling at me.
That
was the longest time we were staring at each other. "3 seconds"
This
was the second time we waved at each other. The first time was when I walked in
the quadrangle, late evening when we came across Swati, Snehal and Sayali. One
more girl, I didn't knew her then. Aishwarya.
"Hie!"
I waved at her.
"Hie!"
She waved back with a blissful smile.
Simple?

Confession

We were all staring at the laptop's screen, watching Aumkar and Nikhil sorting out the engagement pictures they'd captured a week ago, as they were assigned to it. We occupied the second last table towards the junior college in the deserted canteen. It was one of many other jobless evenings spent in the college premises. No sooner I stretched myself from the end of my spine to give a clumsy yawn, than my eyes noticed someone at the other end of this narrow roofed space. Hiding myself, going low on the seat and engaging in useless activity on my mobile phone, I tried ignoring. Very tactfully, I caught a glimpse from the corner of my eye.
Just after some gaunt giggles and low pitched humming falling on my ears, I found Sayali storming away from Aanchal, hiding an obvious blush on her face, moving rapidly and unstably towards the junior college. A few steps and she was about to pass by us, when our eyes met.
"Hey!" She waved, pasting a nervous smile on her face.
It was just a blink of second, when I smiled back at her, when she, with a great momentum of her legs, got away from my eyesight. Aanchal was chasing her, asking her to stop. She greeted me with her sparkling smile and continued her chase. I kept staring at the laptop's screen, covering my lips that were already smiling at her with those sweaty palms. Later realizing eight pairs of questioning eyes were directed towards me, and the storm of silly questions.

“That's your crush?”
“She was!”
“She's pretty!”
“Ah! I know. She is.”
“Does she know?”
“So far... No!”
Going topic less after all the formal and informal talks, we were now talking about our crushes. Because my list was as long as drives on a circular track which never ended, she asked me to shortlist the names of those whom I actually liked. So now we were talking about ‘Paridhi’ my classmate. The girl I had a big time crush on. Sayali was keen to know about her. She was continuously asking me questions, “Is she in our college? Where is she now? Do both of you talk? Etc” She even asked me to send her a picture. I did so without hesitation. I continued answering all her further questions.
“Why didn't you tell her?”
“Is it necessary?”
“This isn’t fair!”
“Then what is?”
“She should know about it. At least express what you feel.”
“It’s better I don't.”
“You should!”
“Bad idea, Sayali.”
“But...”
“Never mind.” I tried adding a full stop to the topic. But she was on the urge of getting my feelings confessed to Paridhi, straight from me.
“Why don't you give it a try?” She continued.
“What better can it do?”
“A lot! You never know.” She said in a convincing text, “See, girls never express themselves in the first place. So whatever initiative is taken must be taken by you.”
I had to think over those words. Yes they were accurate. A girl would never come forward to propose a guy. It’s us, who need to make a move.
“Are you sure?” I questioned, “Because I don't want it to tremble our friendship!”
“I guarantee! It will not.”
“But I can't tell her directly. Lack of guts you know.”
“Haha! I can understand.” Laughing she continued, “Do what you can do easily. Write!”
“Oh yes! Like a confession. I can give it a try!”
“You better do!” She ordered.
“Okay then. Done!” I ended up saying, “I will send the write-up to you first, get an approval and then forward it to Paridhi.”
“Feel free to do that.” She replied with a winking smiley.

I managed to jumble up the write-up till the next evening. Sayali was the first person to receive it.
“Let me know how it is.” I added, “Your reviews decide the forwarding of this piece.”
Hours passed by, but it seemed Sayali didn't bother to reply even after receiving the text. I logged in to Facebook where I found some messages in my inbox.
“Rohit, listen. Network problems. Just wanted to tell you that the write-up is awesome! Send it to her. She'll be flattered.”

“Paridhi! I have written something for you. Wait, I'll send.”

“The Confession
I want to confess! The things I've kept hidden, from
YOU, though it’s late, though its waste.
It was your first glimpse which made my eyes
search for you, in the silence of the classroom, in
the restless quad, in the aromatic canteen, on your
way back home.
Those few moments we share together, making Me
think of you more than ever.
I now confess all the things I've kept hidden this
far, hidden from you, from the world so vast.
Just your smile makes my soul go crazy, every
time you talk with me, the time goes lazy. Lost in
the laziness of the time, I lye here wondering,
“When will my subconscious heart express its
conscious feelings, such is the theme of the
dreams I'm weaving.”
Collecting the courage was all I did this far, even
though not subtle enough to stack up the words in
this final hour. Somehow I managed to create this
piece, unable to elaborate till its finest keys.
This is the confession I make, in front of YOU,
“That...”
“I just read the last line!” Exclaimed Paridhi, “...I have a crush on you!”

Normal, simple, the usual ones. They aren't in love! Nor in a relationship! So what do they exactly share? What is it that keeps them both attached to each other without being so keen about their feelings?
Okay lets analyse the situation.
The beginning.
They met. Got introduced. Now were friends. Thats it.
What else?
Sharing thread's of messages on Facebook? Or just the increase in the conversation due to the exchange of cellphone numbers?
When was the time they were struck with the lightning of caressing?
Now at present.
They talk. Fight on useless topics. Going topic less sometimes. Then again digging for something new.
Flirting! Yes! Flirting. Its common, isn't it? Well you know it is when you're up to it intentionally. Why does one flirt? To make the person at the other screen smile just for a second? Maybe it is all worth it, when you get a text back with a blushing smiley. You know the person is blushing himself, smiling without a reason. Now that's the reason you'll smile. Smile from the core of your heart. Yes! Thats the smile I'm talking about. Natural, fatal because it had already stabbed someone deep inside, making them go insane for you.
Now when they both are so close, they ain't going back to the time where it all started. Just a "Hie" and all the formal topics. Now they keep staring at the mobile phone, in a wish that it'll beep the next moment. And when it beeps, they wish further for it to be that person, sharing the longest thread of message's on the messenger.
Good Mornings are spoken before the person is awake. And "good night" won't be spoken till the person is already in dreams.
Getting possessive is just a reason. A reason to keep the person safe in your arms. Scolding them at the wrong time in a right way, is all they do to intensify the care.
So what is it?
Is it love?
Is it care?
Is it passion?
Never mind.
Giving this relation a rigid name would be a thoughtless act. Let it be how it seems to be!
Normal, simple and usual. Though the unusualness of these feelings can't be measured.

The Connection

I was constantly staring at the ceiling fan, moving in a circular motion, yet not able to provide me with any supply of air, due to its speed. Though the temperature in Alibaug falls down by the night, the mosquitoes don't.

Vishal was lying beside me, engaging himself in the same act, that of mine. *Lying still and straight. Hands folded behind head, using it as a double for the pillow. Eyes focused straight on the machine hanging on the ceiling. Empty mind.*

No sooner my cell phone beeped, I jumped across Vishal, landing on the marble flooring; cracking some spilled chips and kicking the cold drinks bottles which were already gulped down by us. Reaching the window where laid my mobile. The only place, in the entire room where it got hold of some network provided by the service provider, who claimed of reaching the most orthodox corners of India.

“Who is it?” questioned Vishal.

“The same person who was minutes ago.” I said reading the message.

“Continue!”

I replied to the text and plugged my pocket buddy to suck some power from the electric switch. Hopping back on the bed, I returned to the position I was suspended from.

Breathing deep, I said, “It’s so quite here."

“Hmmm.”

“I don't feel like returning home with such peace around. This is exactly what we need in our hectic lives.”

No reply.

I turned towards him when he said, “Rohit! Can I tell you something?”

“Yes, of course! What is it?”

“Why don't you try out with Sayali?”

I couldn't control the sudden burst of laughter.

“It’s your call, I'm just saying.”

“It does sound good. But hey, it’s me. Rohit, remember?” I replied sarcastically.

“That’s why I'm asking you so!” His voice pitched serious this time. “Anyways, let it be. I only suggested.”

“Not a bad suggestion at all” I said more to myself than to him.

It was just a few minutes of silence when my mobile beeped again.

“See, it’s still a free suggestion!” Vishal smiled teasingly.

“Keep it to yourself!” I replied, rushing towards the mobile.

“Actually, I didn't notice you during the RNC's trek.” I replied awkwardly to her question.

“Really?”

“Ummn.... Yes!”

"So when did you came to know about my existence?" She sounded harsh this time.

"With Chetna. You were with Chetna. That's when I noticed you for the first time." I typed hurriedly and pressed enter.

"Oh! Okay."

Killer! That was a conversation killer.

                                                                                                            - To be continued...

Afternoon

A lazy summer afternoon, the sun burning bright over our heads, tanning our bodies. We walked across the bridge talking on useless topics. Laughing, commenting on the posters hung across the buildings, sweating, dehydrating due to the heat. The sun poured on this side of the earth. The conversation was more about the nonsensical topics rather than that of flirting and romance, like most of the couples do.

The person besides me was the one who made her presence in my life without even making me aware of it. It was a sudden turnover which created a strong bond between the both of us. It was just a handful of meetings when we both were together, alone, still maintaining a distance.

We kept walking till we found a place to rest ourselves on. Tired and exhausted, sitting on the concrete stretch of diversion cornering the two footpaths. The huge peepal tree, providing its shade and the continuous flow of the cold breeze in this warm afternoon. The sound of vehicles and the loudness of the people around were interrupting the dialogues we had. But it was the reason she paused, smiled and hid her face into her palms, due to the incomplete sentences; it was all worth it. I was the one sitting quite most of the time, watching her giggle form time to time at her own flaws.

Her cheeks turning pink, making my eyes gaze at them, smiling to myself like an idiot. I was consciously subconscious at the moment, filling my eyes with the tanned beauty.

There was a sudden silence, when she turned to face me, ticking her untied hair behind her ears and narrowing her sharp eyes at mine.

"What?" I asked.

"I'm the one who is talking all this time. You're just nodding!" she pointed out nodding herself.

"Oh! Right. Well.......” I laughed, still illiterate about how to continue the conversation.

"Say something no!" She said stretching her voice.

"Ummmnn..." *A Big Pause*

She, now watching the moving traffic, covered her lips with her fingers.

Breaking out the chaotic silence I asked in a minor tone,

"Where did it all began?"

                                                                                                                                    -To be continued...

Echos of the footsteps, falling on my ears. So silent, so numb was the corridor, with me alone. Darkness so black such no light could enter, breathing heavy, blind sighted, I kept moving in search of that unlocked door.
In the corner I saw a streak of light, unfolding the black with its mighty white. It was a door which was made of gold, bright and sparkling, engraved with the finest carvings. Studded with jewels and diamonds, giving off a shimmering reflection. Possessing richness, royalty, pride and prestige, it stood high, strong in its stance, latched with platinum, locked with arrogance.
I thought knocking on it, but failed. Feeling the uneasiness to bear the richness the pain behind it. I moved my hands on the shimmering gold, the precious jewels. They all together were pulling me towards them. I was the iron, they the magnet.
Moving a step behind, I kept praising the beauty, so far, yet so beautiful. Turning around, I decided to blindfold myself, in the pitch blackness. Ignoring the presence of the vast, enormous door to find a refuge. It kept calling me, teasing me, making me go numb whenever I turned around to look at it.
I kept walking. Away from the monument so rich, so adored. Making the movements of my lower body go infinite on the slippery turned surface.
At a distance, I found an opening, just a circular opening. Bright and white. Small and cramped. I walked towards it, in an attempt to get refuge on the other-side. Making me go on my knees, I passed through it. Entering a place of total whiteness.
Though the darkness was overthrown, I was surprised to find the same golden door, which I left behind. Now standing in front of it once again getting a chance to knock. So did I, tearing the silence of the scene. The door remained locked. Starting to fade into thin air, making me stand baffled on the pearl surface. Before I could collect my senses, another door emerged out of no where. Wooden texture, fine carvings, yet lacking arrogance. The warmth of its beauty was enough to melt me down just by looking at it.
How badly I was hoping to get refuge on the other-side, moving ahead to make an attempt, though carrying the fear of dismissal. No sooner I reached close, it unlocked itself, making it half open for me. It was just a gentle push I made, to enter the world so lively, so vibrant. Getting a haven I never expected of.

While lying on your bed, pillow below your head, in the cozy pajamas, the tangled hairs. Tired all day long. Still in an attempt to stay the whole night to talk. You rest those sharply curved eyes, unexpectedly. Leaving this conversation undone. Incomplete are those words, those lines, the thread of those messages we share. Without the blink of your reply on the screen.
I lye here, waiting, wandering, and hoping you may be awake. Then realizing that, you've already gone in the calmness of total darkness.
Trying not to concern the notion of reality, I make an effort to close my eyes, and leave the world behind.
A slide show of images start running through my mind, linking the previous image with the unlinked other.
Then appears a face, faded. Making it's presence far away from my vision, narrowed and keenly focused. Slowly gaining sharpness. I start smiling knowing the fact that the face needs no introduction to make it's identity.
First I look in those eyes, so sharp in its stroke, highlighted with a black stroke of mascara, followed by a thin line of kajal. Untied hairs, black as darkness, fuzzy yet so silky; some falling on the face so fair and charming, covering a part of it. Both together reflecting the light, adding a glow to the surrounding. Perfectly carved nose, placed above the most breathtaking pair of lips, which curved upwards forming the most exquisite smile, making those eyes so narrow, so fluffy those cheeks.
Not only I was attracted to this face, the beauty, the attitude it possessed. But I felt the warmth of the transparency in her soul, which was loud, lost, which was buried within.
Non other was the face, but it was you, giving this Nocturnally active bird a chance to compose few lines, appreciating the beauty, who entered his life with a sudden hush, making him smile whenever he thinks of you.

Shall I compare you, to the seasons I know. Starting with the freezing winter, the dead autumn, bright summer and the lucid monsoon.
Just when the winds strikes my bare body, their is a sudden shiver, in my veins. I know the winter has arrived. I then start to rub my hands, in a attempt to gain the warmth again, to rejuvenate the life again. Everything now, in the Winter, seems to be so blissful, so nurtured. Finding beauty in everything my eyes come parallel of. The mountains, which are difficult to reach, now covered with a peaceful snow. Watching them from a distance, also makes these eyes go numb. Praising the beauty. So wonderful. So peaceful.
Then comes the Autumn. Symbol of death. Where the life is being introduce to the most cruel notion of reality. "End". But I find something interesting even in this season. The roads, covered with the parched leaves, making it colorize than ever in the annum. A hope, of rebirth, replenishment, a new beginning. It possess all.
It is the Summer, so bright and warm; making my time go lazy and calm. Some curse it, though some of them enjoy; the tanning light, a warm breeze, a day well spend on the exquisite beach. The dazzling sun, burning with might, so immense is his pride. Spreading the life, so jubilant, so nice.
Then come the rains, pouring the immaculate showers, sometimes fast, sometimes fierce. Cleaning the dust from the trees, the roads, the alleys so keen. It is the time of blossom, when the life is nurtured and taken care of, under a view of dense clouds; showering the rains, till they go out. The sounds of splatter, the scent of soaked land, the colors of nature so vivid, so clean.
So is my definition for each of the season I enjoy, I live, I feel; comparing you with the adored and pretty sides of it.

The clock, ticking each second. Making its hands move in a circular motion. Then came a time when both the sticks pointed the northern direction, and she heard a knock. She was surprised, "knock on the door, at this time?" Almost midnight. Covering herself with a shirt, she made her way to the entrance of her flat. Getting hold of the knob, she paused. Thinking about the person behind the wooden piece.
"Who is it?" She questioned.
"Who do you want me to be?" Said the person in a clichè tone.
The sound echoed from the walls, pacing her breathing. She recognized it without a blink of a second.
She unlocked the door. Moving behind some steps without opening it. Folding her arms behind, staring at the rectangular material.
Then their was a gentle push on the door from the other side. Tearing the silence of this night, due to the rusty door-frame. He peeped through the half open door, finding the objective he was there for, standing in a pale green, untidy room.
She was standing still. Wearing a loose shirt, over-sizing her toned body. Hair roughly clipped, narrowed eyes biting her lower lip, smiling with a glimpse of naughtiness.
He entered shutting the door behind, locking it. Turning around again to fill his eyes with the most of her beauty and shyness after so long.
She stood watching him come closer, step by step, slowly slowly. Freezing the time. He was the same; tall, dark and skinny though powerful enough to melt her raging body, measuring till his chest.
He spread his arms with a blissful smile. She without missing the moment collided her body to his. Hugging him tightly, as if they will never meet. Tucking the hair behind her ear, falling on her face buried deep into his chest, he whispered,
"The time kept playing games with me to win this closeness."
"Hmm..."
"I've been living in hell so long, so far from you. Leaving her behind, alone in the loneliness of this crowded city. Though they used to talk on the messenger, the warmth of reality and those two moral creatures heated up by this Retrouvaille.
"I love you!" Were his next dialogues.
She was silent.
He picked her face by her chin, realizing the wetness in her gentle eyes. He flicked his eyebrows once, asking her for the reason of this silence.
Saying, "I missed you!" She rose her body, holding his face in her palms, pulling it close. Their lips made a contact the next second.
"The first kiss."
Bolt of lightning struck them both, igniting up the passion in their veins. He held her face, caressing her soft cheeks with his thumbs, giving a long and tender kiss, which seemed to be stretched for infinity.
So rang the phone, notifying her about his text, when she realized that, she was all alone this far, lying in the dark cramped room. Smiling and blushing about this arousing dream. Embracing the curiosity of their first kiss and hoping for retrouvaille so beautiful.

I want to confess! The things I've kept hidden, from YOU, though its late, though its waste.
It was your first glimpse which made my eyes search for you, in the silence of the classroom, in the restless quad, in the aromatic canteen, on your way back home.
Those few moments we share together, making Me think of you more than ever.
I now confess all the things I've kept hidden this far, hidden from you, from the world so vast.
Just your smile makes my soul go crazy, every time you talk with me, the time goes lazy. Lost in the laziness of the time, I lye here wondering, "When will my subconscious heart express its conscious feelings, such is the theme of the dreams I'm weaving."
Collecting the courage was all I did this far, even though not subtle enough to stack up the words in this final hour. Some how I managed to create this piece, unable to elaborate till its finest keys.
This is the confession I make, in front of YOU, "That I have a crush on you!"
