Zoella is a self confessed Mustard (the colour!) addict, so it’s no wonder she likes our Custard Cream.

A few weeks ago we sneaked some photos of our shiny new biscuit foil prints onto our instagram- and you loved them! We’ve now added these to our online store as individual prints at £12.50 and also as a set of all three for the deal price of £35.

Unlike all other Sample Sales before, our 2015 Sample Sale will be hosted online only- giving those who live near and far the chance to grab a bargain!

Our Studio & Online Sample Sales have previously sold out in a matter of hours- so set your alarm and make sure you’re there sharp!

Our 2015 Sample Sale will be in two drops:

1) 7am Mystery Cushion Drop: Snap up a bargain ahead of the main sale- great for those who like a surprise!

2) 7pm Full Sample Sale Drop: Choose from our selection of samples, never before seen one-offs and slight seconds.

2015 Sample Sale Shopping Guidelines:

1) At 7am our Mystery Cushions will be available to purchase at the price of £15. These will be sample stock- some of which are previously unseen. Mystery Cushions will be available to purchase until 5pm (or until they sell out). Any remaining Mystery Cushions will be available in the main sale at the price of £18.

2) At 7pm the Main Sale opens. This will include a mixture of samples,  slight seconds and never before seen one-offs at up to 50% OFF their RRP.

2) All Sample Sale items are non returnable.

3) Due to high volumes of sales, P&P costs on multiple Sample Sale transactions cannot be combined. To get your order out to you as quickly as we can, we’ll ship orders as they come in.

4) Stock is limited. Orders will be taken on a First Come, First Served basis. We can’t reserve or hold Sample Sale stock.

This year I marked each month with a series of photos that were significant- [Each Month] in Pictures.  We say it all the time- but the days and months pass so quickly- so I wanted to find a way to reflect on each month. As a visual person- instagrams seemed like the perfect way!

Each block of 9 photos (see the original Month in Pictures posts here) tell the story of each small segment of time- what a year it’s been!

I had my nails done by one of my mani-heroes, Nancy Mc. We launched my now favourite cushion- the 2014 Jammy Heart, along with limited edition Mean Girls inspired Custard Cream cushions and a whole bunch of new charm necklace designs.

I attended the very first Blogtacular in London and met so many awesome people. We travelled to Lisbon and ate our weight in Pastel de Nata, got some wheels (hello Klaus the car!) and bought our very first home!

This also meant that we moved across the country from Dundee- the place we’d called home for 10 years- for new adventures in Central Scotland! We set up our new office in the forth valley and brought home a new furry team member: Frankie! Frankie got his own instagram (@frankietheforestcat) and is the cutest/most mischievous/cleverest wee thing on 4 legs that we know.

We had a fantastic festive season and were blown away by the support and kindness of our customers. To everyone who shopped with us, told their friends about our things, sent us lovely post, shared a facebook post, tweeted us, pinned one of our photos or chatted with us on instagram- we feel so lucky and grateful to have you.

Looking forward- I’ve been busy making plans for new projects in 2015- and I can’t wait to share them with you!

I’m posting the December in pictures post a wee bit early this month- as I’ve got a special post lined up for tomorrow!

December has whizzed by in the blink of an eye- here’s what we did:

1. I visited Etsy House in London where our Biscuit Cushions were on sale for their first ever UK pop-up! (see the video here)

2. We launched our collaboration with Boomf magical mallows! Our box of edible treats are available to order for a limited time here.

3. Our kitten Frankie turned 6 months old and got totally wrapped up in the festive season! He has his own Instagram account now too- follow him @frankietheforestcat.

4. We upheld our tradition of baked bacon & eggs for breakfast on Christmas morning (recipe here)

5. Our Teacake cushions were looking all kinds of festive on their way to their new homes!

6. We celebrated our first Christmas in our new home. I’m still in love with our mint green front door- I wish we could hang our wreath all year round!

7. Gift-wrapping was super popular for our festive orders!

8. You kept us busier than ever packing up mailbags of Christmas treats!

9. Our new kitchen was finished just in time for cooking some festive delicacies. I couldn’t help but chalk up a Christmassy message on our new fridge chalkboard!

A super quick November in pictures post this month- as we’re now well and truly into December and we are super duper busy! This month, we’re going to let the pictures speak for themselves.

With Christmas only 4 weeks away we’re getting properly into the festive mood here at Biscuit Towers! We’re always looking for seasonal ways to pay tribute to the loves in life- which obviously has to include the noble Tunnocks Teacake- which inspired us to create our best-selling cushions!

These little Christmas puds are super easy to do and make an excellent alternative to petit fours during Christmas dinner.

You will need:

-  1 pack of Tunnocks Teacakes 

-  Icing: mixed to a thick consistency

- Strawberry Laces

- Miniature Holly

How to:

These are very easy to put together! Just open up your Teacakes & top with icing. Cut up your Strawberry laces (the thicker kind are best for this) with kitchen scissors and carefully place them on top. If your icing is thick enough, they shouldn’t slide off. Trim some of your miniature Holly (I got mine from B&Q) and place around your “berries”.  The holly can be pretty spiky, so an adult should do this.

NB: Remember to remind those eating them to remove the holly- this is not edible!
