Steve Jobs has stepped down as CEO of Apple, although he didn't state health reasons, it is no secret that he battled cancer and underwent a liver transplant. While Apple stock saw a slight drop after the news, no doubt it will bounce back!

A certain blog is at it again, but this time the are trying to compare Keri Hilson and Ciara. I feel the same as I did yesterday, I would not compare these two on the basis of who's better because I think while they may seem similar on the surface they are different types of performers. I am not going to elaborate because anyone who has common sense can see where the differences lie. I think both ladies are fabulous and should be celebrated as individuals!

Verizon Workers Head Back to Work

Open Letter to Bloggers, Bow Wow and Romeo are not Comparable

I was reading one of the blogs this morning and they decided that they were going to compare the careers of Bow Wow and Romeo. Just because two kids grow up in an industry as artist doesn't mean they are alike in any way. These are two completely different men who had two completely different lives growing up. Ok they both grew up rapping and acting but that's were the similarities end. GOD made us all unique and we all think differently, so comparing people like cattle in never an option. Who are any of us to judge these two, who obviously chose different paths to get to where they are today. Their success is defined by them, not us. It is absolutely disgusting for people to compare others in such an obvious attempt to prove one is better than the other. People should never be looked at as better than but different from one another. These two have done a great job of transitioning from child stars and they did it in two very different ways. GOD bless them both and we wish them both continued success!!

I love their dynamic, I love their personalities, and I love how they really depend on each other. Sources say that Jessica Simpson is focusing her talents on her fashion empire and is no longer concerned with being a pop star. Her empire is worth a fortune so does anyone blame her. It is also said that Jessica will also be focusing more on television projects now and in the future. Jessica Simpson will appear along side Nicole Ritchie in NBC's new show Fashion Star, the two will serve as mentors to contestants. Jessica currently has a billion dollar fashion and accessories empire so does she even care about the music anymore. Personally we think she is a talented artist but surprisingly she's an even better business woman, we say go where the money takes you if you're happy. Congrats to her and Nicole on the new show and we wish them luck!!

Some are speculating that Kim Kardashian and basketball player Kris Humphries will marry before summers end! No doubt there is some mystery surrounding the couple who were engaged after about 6 months of long distance dating. Relationship experts have said that you don't even really know a person until you have been with them for about five years, if you ever really know someone at all. So is this a real world wind romance or a business transaction made for E! We hope it's the real thing because everyone deserves to find that special someone to spend the rest of their life with. We here at Nina Monroe Says want to congratulate Bow Wow on becoming a father, we know he wants to keep the matter some what private and we respect that. Babies are a true blessing so we always celebrate them! As for any thing else regarding the baby we will let Bow Wow address that when he is ready, the baby has beautiful parents so we are sure the baby is gorgeous!!

Bow Wow wrote a heart felt letter to his fans announcing he is a father and that his baby girl Shai saved his life. Bow Wow, who once contemplated suicide, says he now has something to live for. Good for him, we hope that he and the baby's mother, Joie Chavis, can keep it civil for the sake of their beautiful baby girl. The baby didn't ask to be here so now that she is she deserves to have two loving parents in her life. Work together guys and give baby Shai what she deserves, congrats again to the both of you!!

Ok, so my commentary on this week's celebrity news pretty much surrounds the controversy pertaining to Chris Brown's appearance on Dancing With The Stars. Because of his outburst on GMA the previous week people were up in arms because DWTS did not cancel Chris' appearance. I think Chris still needs to work on his anger issues and he is lucky that no one got hurt from the shards of glass. That being said, I can't help but think there is a double standard on how certain celebrities are treated when it comes to issues like this. Granted Charlie Sheen has never been convicted of beating his significant others but it is well documented that he does and did to just about everyone he has ever dated or married. Correct me if I am wrong didn't he shoot Kelly Preston in the arm when they were dating, I could be wrong but........ Violence is wrong no matter who or where it comes from but why is it that certain celebrities are condemned and others get a free pass.

Chris did an outstanding job on DWTS, I enjoyed the performance but I think he needs to surround himself with people who can help him better 'express his anger.' And by the by, Chris' appearance garnered DWTS its best ratings so far this season and his CD F.A.M.E, which is currently in stores, is #1 in the country right now!
