Blank Canvas Cosmetics Brush Folio Review

Hey my beauties how are you all doing today :)

Awwww im so excited about this blog post in particular because today is the official launch of the New Brush Folio By Blank Canvas Cosmetics

Along with some other new products in which I will surely be buying myself ;) I will include a picture at the end these new items are on special offer for the weekend only exciting :) :)

Anyway back to the Brush Folio might I add I LOVE THE NAME because when you end up filling this case up it literally looks like a Brush Folio :)

The Brush Folio is basically a black brush case with with 4 compartments. On the outside of the case have the official BCC logo and name :) Its simple and thats the way I like it. The brush folio is actually quite easy to clean with a simple wet cloth if you have any makeup disasters which is even better :)

The original price of this Fantastic creation is only €19.99 but for this weekend you are going to get it for €15.99

The Brush Folio contains 20 compartments for all of your brushes which are split up into 5 x 4 places

So you could put your face brushes on the first 2 folds and then your eye and lip brushes on the last 2 folds. Another great thing about this is that each compartment has a flap to go over your brushes to protect them :)

When I got this i immediately grabbed all my BCC Brushes and started to fill this little beauty up I actually thought there would be no way that this would hold all brushes especially the big face ones and be able to shut fully without any pressure on the zip but I was truely wrong :)

Look at my lovely face brushes awww im so proud of them :) There is a few in there that are new and I have to review yet ;)

I have it nearly full just 9 spaces to fill, perfect for the new brushes that are been launched tonight ;)

I am so so impressed with this Brush Folio it closes absolutely perfectly with no pressure on the zip whatsoever. This is an absolute perfect size for travelling even in your handbag (the big ones we do carry around). I I cant believe so many brushes can fit into a small case like this :) My perfect Brush Folio full of BCC Brushes :) Im loving it :)

I highly recommend this to anyone who had alot of brushes or anyone who travels alot to clients to do makeup or if you are one who likes to use more than 10 brushes at a time most of the time to do their makeup and are travelling alot :)

I am planning on getting another for myself for my kit as it will take up less room in my case and more room for makeup :)

Day 22: Blog Everyday In May.............. 13 Year old you

Hello my beauties how are you all doing today

I have been a Naughty girl with the Blog Everyday in May Challenge

I think I have missed about 4 days of it now in the month so far but life took over and by the time i got down to settle it was too late to do the post

I hope that you can forgive me :) :) :)

But I am back on track again and today the Topic is 13 year old me

Now to be honest its not too long ago I did a Blog post on something like this

Called Advice I'd Give my teenage self so I thought instead of typing it all out again

I at 13 grew up way too fast and had alot of responsibilities my mum was sick at the time and I had to take on the role of big sister/acting mum sooner than i wanted to even though it was natural to me. If there was one thing I could add to the big list of things I would tell to the 13 year old me would be things will get better and talk to someone more that you trust. Teens always seem to keep things to themselves and either end up rebelling in ways that get them into trouble or end up worse Talk Talk Talk its the best way to relieve those frustrations and confusions about life

Catrice Absolute Nude Eye-shadow Palette Review

Hey Everyone I hope you are all well :)

Today I am Reviewing the Ever so popular Absolute Nude Eyeshadow Palette by Catrice

Boy oh Boy have I been waiting a while to try this palette out. I first heard about this palette been release along with alot more new permanent products in February. I have gotten most of the new products now and have been using them quite a bit but I Decided this palette is one of the top on the list because I have been asked by a few of you out there have I tried it yet and because of my experience with it :)

If you are a lover of neutral shades this is the palette for you which i can safely say all of us are neutral lovers :)
The palette contains 6 eyeshadows for only €5.49 which is a bargain in itself if you ask me. The moment I saw this palette and the shades I instantly thought "Awwwww a mini Naked Palette" but of course I had to test them out to see if they were even close to some shades you get on the naked palette. To find out if there is dupes you will have to read on but for now lets show you this little beauty.
I like the packaging Its slim, black and has a transparent lid to make the shades visable, it doesnt feel cheap and the lid is very sturdy.

The one thing I did notice about the eyeshadows is there is no matte shade. They are all shimmery. To be honest it would have been nice to get at least one matte either with a light or dark shade but hey we cant always get what we want :)

The shades you are getting are
A shimmery champagne: This eyeshadow is a little on the chalky side and had little chunks of glitter. At first i thought hmmmmm this is not going to work but to be honest with a tap of the brush its works quite well only thing is you lose more of the eyeshadow than gaining
A Light Mauvey pink: This shade is alot easier to work with and looks stunning even on its own. This is not as chalky as the first shade which means you are gaining more than losing :)
A Coppery Brown with mauve and pink specks: This shade is nicely pigmented and works brilliant its soft and very easy to work with.
A Beautiful bronze with golden undertones: This shade is actually quite pigmented and looks amazing its also a pleasure to work with as they is little to no fall out with it.
A Medium Brown with silver shimmer: This is again another pigmented shade a little goes a long way
A Dark brown with gold shimmer: This is another very pigmented shade but also chalky there will be some fall out if not careful

As i Said earlier when I first seen this palette I thought the colours looks almost familar to some shades of the naked palette so I just had to check it out and below you will see swatches of each shade and next to it the near dupe from the UD Palette now they are not exact but they are not far off it either :)

As you can see the pigmentation is not too far off Urban Decay which says alot for a drugstore brand Well done Catrice :) Ok the lasting powder and the pigmentation is not as good as UD obviously but for people who dont own UD and cant afford the more expensive price tagged palette can easily get away it duping some of its shades through this palette

Lasting power is pretty darn good too I have to say. I wore these shadows for over 10 hours and with only a little bit of wearing off they lasted all day long with a good primer :)

They blend brilliantly and are so easy to apply. They feel silky when in contact with the eyes which I love. The only shade I had problems with was the first one as it is very chalky and does need a base either a primer or a cream shadow.

I have to say I am impressed and this is perfect for times I want to save my UD palette and use this on a ordinary day. This is a perfect palette for a bride who is doing her own makeup on the day or anyone who loves wearing neutral shades.

Here is just a quick everyday "Wake me up" look I created with the Catrice Absolute Nude Palette and in the picture I have the eyeshadows on about 5 hours :)

Day 18: Blog Everyday in May..............Best Friends

Hey my beauties how are you all doing today :)

We got a lovely spell of sunshine and heat yesterday delighted !!!!

Today ??? Rain and cold AGAIN

Typical Irish weather but hey what can you do eh?

Todays topic is Best Friends......... Who are your best friends and what makes them so special?

Well I am only going to talk about one best friend today and this person I have known all of my life from the day she was born. There is 6 years between us and I am the oldest :) Even though it doesnt feel like there is 6 years between us at all we have both got the same mind frame.

If you havent guessed it by now My bestest friend is my Sister Sarah

Isnt she a stunner ???

I love this girl so much she is an amazing person

Growing up Sarah and I were typical sisters. I used to be a real mammy when she was born I minded her wanted her to hurry up and grow up and play with me :)

She is going to kill me for putting up this photo but don't worry Sarah Plenty more to come hehehehehe :) & You cant stop me cause this is Nina's Bargain Beauty emphasising NINA'S Wahahahahahahahahahaha

Anyways Myself and Sarah growing up were not exactly close, in fact we used to kill each other all the time she was the typical younger sister who wanted to do everything I was doing I hated it lol you know what its like lol

But then when we were not fighting we had such amazing times. We shared the same room and had some amazing times making up the most silliest games ever but we had fun. I still had the mothering streak over her and told her when she was naughty (which was all the time) lol (only kidding)

Once we got older aka when I was in my teens and sarah was hitting the Tweens we got even closer. Sarah used to come to me all the time about her tween "problems" and we barely fought.

When I hit 19 and had my first baby She was first on the list to become Godmother to my baby girl and still to this day she is an amazing godmother and aunty to her. When she had her first baby I was the one she came to be godmother :)

When I moved home when my little woman was a year old we grew even closer

We from then on became more best friends than sisters. We Talked about everything. She came to me when she experienced all her first in life all of them. She would often refer to me as her 2nd mum which made me feel amazing :)

We have been through the most hardest times and together we pulled ourselves through it. She has been my rock when i needed her the most. We have had our rows but couldnt stay mad at each other for too long because we would miss each other too much. Any time we would go anywhere big we would ask each other did they want to come. I have even brought her along to some blogger meet ups just because it would feel weird not bringing her to such an amazing event. Going on day outs which doesnt happen too often because we both have children is such a laugh. We both act like complete kids ourselves even our own kiddies think we are crazy

awwww I love this girl so much. We are each others rocks. When life doesnt go our way we are there for each other as quick as you can click your fingers. We even know when one of us is not having a good time even by text message. We even say the same things sometime like twins would do when they are together and even finish each others sentences its unreal and we dont even live with each other. I know everything about her and she me.

This girl is my sister, my life and most of all the bestest friend I have ever had.

If she is away from me too long my heart breaks for her

Sarah if you are reading this I LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU FOR BEEN YOU

I FEEL ABSOLUTELY LUCKY TO HAVE YOU IN MY LIFE AS WELL AS THOSE 2 BEAUTIFUL BABIES YOU GAVE BIRTH TOO

YOUR HEART IS AS BIG A THE WORLD, YOUR ARE AN AMAZING MUM, AN AMAZING SISTER AND AN AMAZING DAUGHTER

NEVER STOP BEEN WHO YOU ARE AND NEVER EVER FORGET YOU ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY BEST FRIEND XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Ok I think that's enough soppiness for one day lol

I do have best friends but to be honest if you have sisters who you have grown up with stay close to them as they are the only people in the world apart from your parents who Know you inside out :)

And believe me there are times in your life where you are going to need them more than anyone they are your blood they are your life and nothing and i mean nothing should ever come between you :) :)

Day 16: Blog Everyday In May....... Pampering

Hey my beauties How are you all doing today :)

Wow todays topic Is all about Pampering What is your ideal way to pamper yourself and relax?

Haha when I seen this topic I couldnt help but laugh, smile and shrug my shoulders :)

You see having a house full of kiddies there is no time whatsoever to relax chill out or pamper myself lol

Now dont get me wrong I dont mind it one little bit but its hard to fit in time for pampering when there is dishes to wash clothes to sort out dinners to cook and been a referee about 20 times a day and so on

Getting both hands painted with a new nail polish is like a dream come through I go around half of the day with one hand painted so I can use the other hand to do stuff without smudging my other hand and then my the time I have the time i get the other hand painted its evening lol

I probably look like a i dont know what when someone calls to the door on my new nail polish days

So my Idea and what I do to Pamper and relax might not be big to you but it certainly is to me and boy its heaven

Bath time

This is my utmost enjoyable relaxing time this is what I call heaven. Its not what I use in the Bath its the Bath full stop. This is where I close my eyes with my home-made face mask on, take deep long breaths and imagine myself in the ocean with the sounds of waves in my ears and the birds singing Peace and quiet. A time to clear my head for 30 minutes without any worries or stresses or anything :) What I put in the bath is an even more of a bonus be it a bath bomb, radox whatever helps me relax. :) :) Adding bubbles candles and music just polishes it off nicely :)

Reading my favourite magazines :)

I love catching up on my favourite magazines every month and week. When the kiddies goes to bed I sit down with a cuppa and my magazines and enjoy a peaceful read :) :) as well as getting information on up coming beauty products and fashion Ideas and lots more :) Its something I look forward to every month :)

Been a mum of 5 is absolutely amazing but at times can get very very stressful. My patience is amazingly high according to alot of people who have been to my home and heard and seen what goes on lol but to me kids need to be kids after all they grow up so so fast but as I said times can get stressful and I do feel the tension on my body and my head. So even 5 minutes outside in the fresh air is relaxing to me I love to go for walks as its the best was to de-stress and relax

I find anything at all that takes me away from the home for a little while relaxing even with the kids. I love to bring the kiddies to a play centre as its amusing for them and its relazing for me it gives me a chance to be able to watch them laugh and have fun aswell as having a latte or two with my sister friends or who ever comes along.

The one thing I would love more than anything is to experience a day or two in a spa to be pampered as I have never been. I never got my nails done or anything like that. I get to go to a hairdressers about 2 times a year and I find that a real treat :)

At the end of the I dont miss what I never had and I appreciate even the few hours in the evening when the kiddies is in bed asleep and the house is silent thats my most relaxing time unless they are sick or wake up :) I even find doing my own makeup is a lovely way to pamper myself. After all its the simple things in life we need to appreciate been full time mums :) :) Anything that comes after that is a bonus :)

Day 15: Blog Everyday In May.............. Life's a Lesson

Hey my beauties How are you all doing today :)

Well now I had to put my serious thinking hat on for todays topic

"Life's A Lesson" What is the single most important lesson you have ever had?

Wow that is a tough one as my whole life has been just one big lesson believe me. I haven't had the easiest life but I know for a fact people have had worse but instead of dwelling on the hard times I have turned them into life's lessons.

Today I rattled my head of what one lesson points out to me and then bam this is one lesson I have learned that will benefit others ;)

Been a teen and going into my early 20's Smear tests were never really mentioned. Not like they are today. But after I had my first child about 2 years later someone asked my in conversation "Have you had your smear test done" I looked at them and shrugged my shoulders and said "no" I wasnt really bothered I just thought aww just another test

My mum I dont think ever had a Smear test done and I never thought any more about it until one day I read an article in a magazine about a girl at 19 diagnosed with cervical cancer and she was dying. In the space of a month all I was hearing was the words "Smear Tests" and "Cervical Cancer"

I took this as a message and finally booked myself in for a Smear Test. I think nerves was always getting in the way as I heard stories (as you do) and I didnt know what to expect. I went In and got my test done which was not at all bad. I found it a small bit uncomfortable but that was it.

It was done in 5 minutes and I thought no more about it.

Until one day about 2 weeks later I got a phone call from my GP telling me the results came back abnormal. He reassured me that sometimes it will come back abnormal and that I would have to get another test done to see clearer results

I went to a clinic where they carried out another Smear I thought that this would be the end of it and thats why i decided to go there on my own. The results came through again abnormal so they had to carry out another test called A colposcopy

This is basically the same test as a smear only the doctor looks at your womb through a Microscope

The results came back that I had high abnormal cells which were not cancerous but if not treat may turn cancerous in the future. Some test will come back low abnormal cells and can go away on their own

So what next?

I had to have treatment there and then under a local anastetic and the procedure took about 15 minutes Basically the doctor had to burn away the abnormal cells which doesnt hurt at all. I did feel a little sensitive and felt a little pain the next day which felt like very faint period pains but my mind was at ease.

I have to say that day was a lesson learned.... I went around thinking I didnt need this done I was fine and the results will be clear............. If I had continued with this attitude Those abnormal cells would have turned into something alot worse

I am not saying everyones results are going to be the same by no means at all but what i am saying is that If there is important tests that need to be done to help provent something serious in the future do not refuse.

Lush "Hello Gorgeous" Gift Box

How are you today :)

One day I got a phone call from my friend saying he was passing by Lush did I want anything I was like "Eh Hell Ye" you see Lush is about 40+ miles away from me and i find it very hard to get up there to try anything so basically Lush is like a luxury pleasure for me to even get walking in to smell their amazing product and to try out.

The thing is when I got the call I was put on the spot and had no idea what to try out. So I told my friend I wanted to try out a few things up on a budget and to surprise me

So He ended up getting advice from the lovely ladies who work there at Lush just off Grafton Street Dublin. They were that helpful they even put on a display on how to use bath bombs etc :) He was actually very interested. So he ended up bringing me home this lovely gift box which I instantly fell in love with because the box is sooooooooo girlie :)

Isnt it so girlie :) and Reusable :) I love it I love the colours I love the design everything :)

Not only that but the ribbon is so cute and I can use it on my daughters hair :)

Oh my goodness when I got this box into my hands I could hear a choir singing in the backround AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW :) :)

Not only was i excited about the box but i was even more excited to realise that I had 5 products to try 5 of them

So this little box of joy cost €27.50 altogether and what you are getting for that is the following :

So as the song goes "Hi ho Hi Ho its off to the bath I go" I just couldnt wait to try these babies out :) :)

So How did and do I get on with these read on to find out :)

So after my 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th bath I have come to a decision about these products and here is what I think and thought :)

Think Pink Bath Ballistic on its own costs €3.75

This is actually one of the best selling Bath Bombs sold by Lush. The scent of this from the moment you take it out of the box is incredible. Ladies this bath ballistic is definitely thought out for us for sure. With the pink colour, the flowers and then the surprise love heart confetti inside this is all OURS :) Not only is this bursting with the scent of Tonka and Vanilla but its also suitable for Vegans. The scent of this is absolutely amazing......so amazing it floated all thought the house I could smell it in my hall, in my kitchen everywhere. The pleasure of watching this bath bomb while I smelled the sweet aroma was amazing and then been surprised with the confetti put a smile on my face before I even jumped in.

Just soaking in the bath was heaven and I will certainly be repurchasing this again for sure :) :)

Next up is

The Comforter :) on its own this is €5.60 for a 200g bar

This is not a new product to me as I have tried it before :) :) And I absolutely love this especially on my stress days or days I feel alot of tension. You can use the whole bar in one bath or break it in 2 like I do. This is literally what it says "A big Bubbly duvet" You just feel nothing but softness against your skin and the scent is to die for. Try not to have a bath with this bar if you are feeling very tired because I can safely say you will fall asleep ( I know because I did once) I highly recommend this to all of you busy stressed out mums, workers etc :)

Next up is the shower :)

Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub on its own it costs €9.95 for 330g

I was super excited to see this in the box as I have never tried anything like this from Lush ok ok I havent tried alot but im getting there slowly haha. Even though this is not full sized the amount I have got will do me a while believe me when I say a little goes a long way. This is basically your everyday shower gel only better :) Not only are you getting a shower gel but you are getting a gentle exfoliator for everyday use. With one of the main ingredient been fine sea salt when you wash with this bad boy you feel so so so clean but without the harshness of a normal exfoiliator. I love how Lush has made this in the colour blue setting the scene of the ocean ;) sea salt + blue = ocean :) Love it.

Other ingredients such as lemon juice, lemon oil Orange flower and Jasmine help make you feel refreshed and ready for the day

The scent is very hard to explain but believe me its beautiful you get the scent of the lemon oil and lemon juice while you are washing which is also brilliant for taking away that dead skin but then when its on your skin a while you get a floral scent I absolutely love how I feel after using this and my skin has actually improved alot I dont suffer with as much dryness and you certain dont see the dry flakes I have been suffering with for a while now

This will definitely be a big part of my life for sure :)

Next up (is an absolute favourite of mine now)

Vanilla Dee-Lite Body Lotion normal size 250g for €16.75

I have to admit the moment I set eyes on this bottle of body lotion I kind of had my mind set on me not liking it. I am not a huge fan of strong vanilla scents never was I dont mind a little vanilla but not full blown pure vanilla scents as the sweetness of it gives me headache for some reason. I opened it up and instantly got the strong scent of vanilla but I decided i would try it out anyway as the scent says nothing about what the product can actually do does it? :) Well now I am glad I tried it out because I AM IN LOVE with this product. Oh my goodness Its amazing.

This little bottle of joy is jammed with amazing ingredients such as extra virgin coconut oil and coconut but also it has kiwi which is full of vitamins and antioxidants. This also helps to dissolve dead cells. This I found has rescued my skin so so much since i started to use it. You know those areas such as your knees elbows around you hip area and feet that gets extra dryness I suffer so bad in them areas and since using this I found I have less dry flaky skin and more softness and moisture. Another thing i love about this body lotion is that it soaks right into the skin but you feel completely moisturised all day and all night long and the scent??? I love it. I love how the moment it hits your warm skin it smells like cupcakes when they are cooking in the oven mmmmmmm and it lingers a full day and night too I actually smell like vanilla cupcakes my kiddies are forever smelling me and it also lingers on your clothes until you wash them again :) BEAUTIFUL :)

Lastly is

Gorgeous Facial Moisturiser normal size 45g for €49.95

Wow this is one pricey package this is actually the most expensive moisturiser available in Lush. I was afraid to try it incase I ended up loving it to be honest But they threw in a sample of their new moisturiser to try out. I am actually going to quote some facts from the lush store to explain why this is the most expensive.

A loose emulsion, rather than a thick heavy one, means that the ingredients are available to the skin and free to sink in, rather than locked together.The oils are a combination that are rich enough to soften and moisturise the skin whilst leaving it feeling light and soft.
The pineapple has enzymes which act on the skin whilst the lemon and orange will help the skin stay matte and naturally contain alpha hydroxy acids.
Orange blossom honey soothes and moisturises the skin.Combine all of these benefits with the fact that we have the absolute minimum amount of preservative in here – just enough to keep the product pure but not too much to damage the natural micro-flora of your skin.We make this fresh, in small batches, and get it to our shops quickly – so you can buy it fresh and use it whilst it is still vital and active.Plant oils can be extracted by heat extraction or by cold pressing.
We have chosen expensive cold-pressed oils for this cream, so none of their natural properties have been damaged by the heat.

Using this cream I did find it effective and very moisturising not only that but my face looked amazing refreshed and moisturised and more awake. I dont think to be honest I would go to the extent of wanting to buy it on a full time basis as i feel there are more affordable moisturiser out there that do the same thing but if you can afford this I would recommend trying it out :) After all the history of this cream is going back to royalty :)

So that is it phew that was alot to go through but overall I am super happy with everything I got from this box. Its really great that I got to try out different products and got full sized and good sized samples of them all. I have a couple of favourites that I do intend on buying again and that Vanilla Body Moisturiser is going to be a staple in my life for sure :)

If you want something amazing a sort of self pampering kit for yourself "Hello Gorgeous" is the one for you. Any men out there wondering what to bring home to you lovely ladies next get this box she will love it from the box itself to the contents in it. She will smell amazing, feel amazing and thank you in alot of ways ;) maybe even treat you to a "Comforter" bath of your own sharing is caring ladies ;) Ok now shoo (in a nice way) Nina is in need for a bit a relaxation just me and my "Hello Gorgeous" Box :)

Well todays topic is none other that Food Glorious Food :) :)

Well let me tell you growing up we didnt exactly have the most luxurious of foods :)

or breakfasts consisted of either egg and toast and cereals

lunches were always sandwiches

and dinners were simple Stews, chicken curries or sausages beans and potatoes simply things like that

Even though They were delish at the time and still to this day I would eat them as I loved them

But me I like trying out different foods I Like trying anything new having a big family of my own I like to give my kiddies all different dishes to try out and I still need to learn more about cooking myself

Sometimes its easy to just put stuff in the oven or chip pan to cook quickly especially for hungry kids but I do try to make dishes on a regular basis that my kids will feed their kids or my kids will come back in years to come and say mum can i have the recipe of this and that :) ;)

I love when my kids come after school and get excited with the smell of the kitchen and say "Mammy did you cook your curry today" it feels amazing and its special too :) I am not a cook in any way and i am not a professional under no circumstances I have alot to learn but I will share with you some recipes I have up already on my blog and Some of my favourite dishes I like to eat and make for my kiddies :)

First of all the most popular dish in my house is

Lasange

Kids find it very hard to eat vegetables when you ask them too they make such a great big deal out of eating them as we all probably did when we were kids but been a parent its very frustrating if your kids dont get their daily dose

So Why not add them to their favourite dish

I have already got the recipe up to this check it out I do make more than what i should so I can put some in the freezer and take it out on days I know im going to be too busy to prepare a dinner :)

Spaghetti and Meatballs

This is not my own recipe but I got this recipe for the sauce from Someone else a long time ago and stick to it ever since its delish :)

1 onion, chopped

about 4 cloves of garlic, minced

4 small cans tomato paste

4 cans water

2 tall cans (15 oz) tomato sauce

garlic powder

basil

oregano

thyme

bay leaves

salt and pepper

sugar(optional)

parmesan cheese

Add all the veg you want which I normally do

Saute the onion and garlic in a bit of olive oil. Combine all the ingredients in the crockpot or large cooking pot on the stove. I didn’t measure any of the spices, but used about 2 tsp of each, less for the garlic powder. I use 2 bay leaves. Salt and pepper are to taste. I used about 2 tsp of sugar and about 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese.

Chicken Casserole

4 to 5 chicken fillets

4 to 5 carrots chopped

2 onions

2 sticks of celery (option)

You can add what ever vegetables you like :)

25g butter

500ml of chicken stock

25 g of flour

Salt and pepper

fresh thyme

parsley

200mls of fresh milk

Cooked the chicken and butter for about 5 minutes in a pot on a low heat. all all the rest of the ingredients aka vegetables, parsley, salt pepper and thyme cook for a further 5 minutes Add the flour Add the stock and the milk and stir continously until the mixture thickens up slightly

Transfer all into a casserole dish and cook in the oven at 180 for 50 minutes

Desserts and treat are a favourite too in our house here is some recipes and desserts I have for you

This is another favourite and I get asked all the time if im making it in my house. Once anyone gets wind im making it I get alot of visitors lol

Day 13: Blog Everyday In May............. Go Green

Hey my beauties

I have been a very naughty girl (slaps hand)

I missed yesterdays Blog post Day 11 as it was just a crazy day and I just couldnt calm myself down enough to sit at the laptop to do the post :( my bad :) :)

But I am back on track today and todays topic is.......... Go Green :) Talk about being green, eco-friendly or ethical. What do you do to make a difference?

I like to think I do my bit when it comes to this subject but I have to admit I could be better in all fairness I think we all could :)

I hate it when you see places that are complete destroyed in peoples waste or people burning their waste anywhere they can etc etc

As I said I do feel we do our bit as a family to help the Environment and today I will share with you what we do so maybe even some of you out there who have big families might get some tips or maybe you have tips of your own to share with me :)

We do Reduce Reuse Recycle :) We have a bin we fill every week for recycling and nearly fill it every week :) We reuse boxes plastic bags paper bags and juice bottles....... for instance every week i sent the kids to school with juice but reuse their plastic bottles for that week :) If i ever get a take away and get something with a plastic container and a lid I reuse them for anything such as dinners I have prepared and want to freeze etc
We use Energy saving bulbs :)
We plug out everything we do not use and knock off the switches when the plugs are not in use.
We only fill the kettle for what ever we need
I try to use the tumble dryer less and if at all possible dry the clothes in the house on racks and on the stair case :) Any line drying them on good days
I pay my bills online or direct debit which saves bills coming in which saves paper
I was my clothes on a 30oC wash ;)
We always always always give our unused items to charity :) no matter what we never throw out clothing unless they are totally not wearable :)
We always pay visits to charity shops/thift stores to see if there is anything we can reuse after all alot of items now a days are like new that people just don't or never use
Most of all we walk or take the local transport most places. I have had to use my dads car a good few times but going From driving everywhere to only walking and taking transport an odd time to the total opposite is a big thing I think :) plus its healthier :) and its saving on fuel and pollution.
We do try to shop at local farms but to be honest it is hard as there isnt many of them around and any shops who do sell them sell them at a really unaffordable price
I donate all my magazines I find it a shame throwing out paper so I hand them into either a local hairdressers or someone I know :)
When it comes to food I feel very strongly about no wastage I am not one to be able to scrape out any sort of food into a bin its not right if at all I either store it in the fridge for someone else to eat the next day or ask an elderly person nearest to us would they like some left overs that will not be eaten or I will feed the birdies as they are hungry too but it is not good the throw away food and also it cant be good for the environment to be dumping food in the bin as it causes smells and rats.
When shopping I try to buy items that are made from recycling for example toilet paper etc.

I thinks thats about all we do but its enough for me to know we are taking part for now. i would love to start growing my own vegetables etc but at the moment i am not in the right area for that :) I would love to be able to afford to eat and wear organic but here in Ireland its way too expensive and I have 5 kiddies mouths to feed :)

I thought I would do a different sort of a post today

As Its coming into Holiday time alot of people are planning out their trips and some people have been planning to come over to good auld Ireland :) Yeee great choice Ireland is just the best place ever :)

I am going to get you into the whole Irish spirit Irish world before you come over.

The thing is in Ireland all over everyone has different accents and sayings that come into everyday conversation and some of you would be left standing think "what was that he/she said" Even I find it hard understand some sayings people come out with who are from a different county haha

like for instance Dublin Being the Capital of Ireland has their own accent and sounds totally different to say people who are from Kerry another city in Ireland

I have to admit us Irish are known for having some unbelieveable sayings that mean the total opposite to the actual sentence or word that comes out

Today I am going to share with you some of the most popular and regular sayings so it might give you more of an understanding when you do pay a visit to us :) Some popular places to visit and some popular foods to try

Some of these are so funny and some are very confusing

Any Irish people out there reading this if I leave any out please add them to the comment boxes for our lovely visitors :)

I am also going to give you some information on how to survive in Ireland lol

Wow this is going to be fun :)

Before you leave your home, make sure you have wellies, rain jackets, an umbrella or two and hats and scarves because 90% of the time Irish weather is rain rain and more rain lol ok packing all of them is a bit much but make sure you have suitable clothing for both warm and wet days. These day Irish weather is a bit bipolar. One minute your sweating, the next you get hit in the face with a hail stone, the next you lose you favourite hat with the big gust of wind that nearly knocks you over then the sun shines and you have to take your jacket off that you only just put on you 5 minutes ago lol

Ok the first thing you will need to know before you even start talking to anyone is that if you are renting a car our cars take either Petrol or Diesel So make sure to ask the people you rent off what FUEL the car need Just so you get that mixed up are the car will be banjaxed (eh meaning if you put the wrong fuel in the car it will chuckle down the road make a big bang and die on you lol) Oh and dont forget we drive on the left not the right ;)

If you are not renting a car and want a taxi this requires a phone call none of the whistles or lifting the arm will work im afraid :)

Oh by the way before you come over Try and get used your body used to drinking tea for at least 2 weeks before you come over because if you are planning on visiting or staying with Irish people you will be guarenteed to be asked about 100 times a day "Would ye like a cuppa" mean would you like a cup of tea now normally in an Irish home a cuppa is only tea so if you are a coffee drinker make sure to state you would like a coffee otherwise its will be Lyons or Barrys tea all the way :)

Now for some of the Slang for you to get used to when you do arrive in Ireland Ok some of us dont speak like this but we all understand each other when its spoken :)

Greetings: "Well" "Howya" "Hows it goin" "Whats the Craic" "Long time no see" These basically mean "Hello" "Story bud?" "How's she cuttin" lol our replies when you ask us how we are: "ah sure not too bad" "awww sure no point in complaining" "Not a bother on me" "Im grand and yourself?"
"See ye later" "Mind yourself" "Talk to ye" "Right Goodluck" "Slan" Means "Goodbye"
Weather: Jaysus its horrid close out there ...... meaning humid weather, "It would freeze the b**ls of a Brass monkey" meaning its freezing cold, "jaysus come in you'll catch your death" come in or you will freeze "its Lashing" or "Its foamin" Its raining
The Irish are particularly fond of the "Odd" bad word they will 90% of the time bring a "rude" bad word into conversation but its nothing to take offence to its literally part of the Irish speaking

First of all in some countries sticking up you index and middle finder on their own means you are rudely telling someone to F**k off and we take offence to that where as it might mean "Peace" or something else in other countries

but we always include either "Feckin" "Kiss me arse" "Ah feck it" "Holy Shit" "For feck sake" ok i think you can get the idea of what im talking about but most of the time these curse words come into any conversations for instance if you compliment someone of their hair or clothes they could reply by saying " awww will ye feck off sure ive had this outfit for years or awwww will ye shut up I look like ive been dragged through a ditch" but it really means thanks very much I think most of the time we Irish just cant take a compliment publicly lol

When we talk food: "me stomach thinks me throat is cut" "I'm Starvin" "ah sure you'll have a little" this little will be a plate full that will feed an army believe me........ "Ah jaysus I caould ate a horse" meaning I am really hungry and i feel like I would eat loads "awwww me eyes were bigger than me belly" meaning I ate too much.

Spuds..... is potatoes

Rashers is bacon

bacon is a big lump of ham

Chips is Fries

crisps(packet of Tayto is chips

ketchup is "red sauce" tomato ketchup

Chipper..... Fish and chip shop

Fry up........... (Irish Breakfast) Sausages Rashers, eggs, beans, pudding etc

Now Drinking is a big thing in Ireland Going to the pub having a laugh having the craic having a ceili is a big thing We love the auld (old) pint and dance around :) Everything is a celebration in the pub.....Winning a football match, winning anything lol, a birthday, an achievement, leaving school, a funeral everything is celebrated with a pint or 10 or 20 in the pub so when it comes to drink the most popular Beers ales alcholic drinks are

Guiness but be warn guiness is a heavy beer so be sure to eat before you try ;)

Whiskey is a popular short you have to try in Ireland oh whiskey is great I tell ye it even cures the pain on gums :) also great for the flu (so we say )

Smithwicks is another popular beer :)

Bulmers is a cider made from apples

Oh the good auld Baileys Irish cream Liquer you have to try it mmmmmm

Poitin boy oh boy this is a strong spirit and great for warming you up

Irish Coffee you simple everyday coffee with a shot of whiskey ;)

You will more than likely be asked the next day after a good night out "Are you goin for the cure" that means are you going to the pub lol

You will also hear if you are out with us "Jaysus you were langered last night" meaning you were very very drunk

Ladies when your in the pub and an Irish lad comes up to you he will more than likely start a conversation with "What ye havin" and "Your not from around here" or "howya gorgeous" or "Are ye well cause ye look it" "your place or mine" usually means he is interested in you :)

Day 11: Blog Everyday In May............... Book Love

Hey my beauties How are you doing today :)

Wow or weather has totally changed in the past week

Last week I didnt light my fire once this week i have lit it everday its cray cray and its suppose to be the summer :(

But hey It could be alot worse :)

Todays Topic is about Book Love .............."Tell us about your favourite book. Or maybe give us a top 5 of the books that changed your life."

Hmmmmm I actually was not going to do this one and maybe replace it with something else for today but I decided "No this is the topic so there must be something I can write about"

You see I am not a big book reader. I love books dont get me wrong I think Its very soothing and relaxing but I just cant find the time to read a full book. I will sit read about 5 chapters get engrossed then something else will take over be it kids or blog or something else .

In fact i mad a packed with myself that I will challenge myself into reading a full book. I got the Fifty Shades of Grey Book (Actually I got all 3) because that was such a popular book at the time started to read it, made it to half way through the first book and bam 5 months later my book mark is still in the middle of the book lol

So I decided in this post I would share with you books I remember loving as a kid and teen and always will remember as I have even bought some of them for my kiddies

The Book I ever remember getting and loving because my Aunty used to have stacks and stack of them in her house from when she was a teen was

Bunty wow the memories

I used to go to my Aunties to stay for a week or two in the summer and the one thing I used to be more excited about was reading the Bunty books :)

It was the perfect book for my age group which was around the teens :) It was originally a weekly magazine but my aunty had all the Annuals which was even better as it was jammed full of different stories and puzzles and everything

Bunty Had a main story in it which I was excited everytime to read and it was about the life of 4 teens all called Mary aka "The 4 Marys"

The all lived in a boarding school and often got into trouble with teachers, school work school trips etc.

It was so funny and made me wish I had close friends like they were :)

Enid Blyton was a Huge part of my life growing up I loved her books and was totally engrossed in any of her books that I got as gives I remember simply lying on my bed reading and my world changed from my bedroom to what ever story I was reading :)

I loved this one Amelia was such a naughtly kid but deep down all she craved for was friends but she was just too naughty and she couldnt help herself lol There was numerous amounts of these books and i found them so funny. She used to play tricks on the other characters all the time. My 8 year old has started reading one of these books and he is already engrossed and laughs to himself now and again :) Great book for 8 - 12 year olds

The Famous Five :)

About 3 Boys 1 Girl and a dog and they always seemed to be around when the bad people was up to something the funny thing was they were always the ones who solved the mysteries and get the bad people put away. Every mystery was as interesting as each other and soon this book was turned into a tv programme which was even more brilliant I loved it

Now when I was in secondary school when I was around 14-17 years old 2 books I read I absolutely loved and still rememeber to this day is

Roll of Thunder here My Cry

This book I studied as part of my English Project and enjoyed every last page. It took me literally 2 days to read this and I had my project done within a week and handed in. I also got an A in it by the way ;) This was the most knowlegable story I ever read and made me understand things I never knew or was told about like the KKK and about the black community and the torture they were put through years ago and still to this day which is a pity :(

The Book was set in 1933 and was based on a family called the Logan but most based on a 12 year old called Stacey and 9 year old called Cassie and her two brothers living through Cassie who was 9 tells the story of life on a Mississippi farm and along with other black families in 1933 are often treated unfairly.(having to walk to school, unlike white children who get to ride a bus, being called offensive names, receiving old, broken, or dirty school supplies, etc.) Cassie and her family must overcome the many struggles of being an African-American family, as well as finding their way through the Great Depression. Cassie and her brothers wind their way through life while getting in trouble with their cranky teacher, Ms.Crocker, planning revenge on their peers, exploring, learning lessons, and adapting to life in them times. I was totally shocked with the behaviour of others aka white people towards them and it really opened my eyes to the reality of life.

Lastly is another book that opened up my eyes

The Twelfth of July

This was another project I did in school for english and again got great marks for it.

This story is set in Belfast Ireland and is based in around 1970's. Joan Lingard herself lived in Belfast until she was 18 so she had a good insight to what life was like living in Belfast around the times when Catholics and Protestants did not get on at all in fact there used to be wars between them.

The story is about Sadie who is a a catholic and Kevin who is a protestant and what life was like through their eyes living in Belfast. The part of the city where they live is separated into a Protestant area and a Catholic area. The 12^th day of July is one of the most important holidays for the Protestants, for to celebrate and remember the famous William of Orange. Therefore there is a great fuss in the Protestant area and everybody attempts to decorate his street.

Once Kevin paints with big letters on a wall in the “enemy’s” area: Down with King Billy (=William of Orange).

Kevin and Sadie became friends and found it very hard to stay away from each other Kevin could not understand why Sadie made a great big deal about this celebration and when he done what he done its cause the biggest faud between the catholics and protestants. Sadie and her brother tommy catches Kevin destroying the wall that night and she is very angry with him but they have a connection which both can not stay away from.

I believe the main theme of the novel is crossing barricades. I do believe that this make a point the sometimes children are more mature than adults. The fact that its the adults who start the wars and dont forgive as quick as children do, that adults do not give people the chance to show themselves for who they really are just because of religion or their beliefs. If we just get to know one another, and not act upon our disbeliefs, the world would be a better place. Even though this book has not worked any miracles into solving anything between the two religions its does give us a more understanding of what life is like in bother the childrens lives and the adult very interesting book :)

So thats the most favourite reads I can think of As I said i am not a huge reader apart from my favourite magazines as i just do not have the time but I think once the kiddies all of them are in school i will get back to reading books again :)

Travel Dreams............ If you could go anywhere in the world right now where would it be?

Awwwww I have always wanted to travel it has been my dream for a very long time but of course been put on hold since I had my first baby. In fact I have never even been on an aeroplane :O

Ok i am going to tell you about a few places I want to visit before I leave this earth :) Place i have always wanted to visit and hope some day I will :)

The first place and this place has always been a dream from when I was knee high to a grass hopper is of course

My heart is even pounding looking at this photo. New York City its always on top of my places to visit. I want to see everything.

I want to see The Statue of Liberty

Times Square

Brooklyn Bridge

Empire State Building (King Kong)

Central Park

Oh I want to visit 5th avenue which is suppose to be one of the most expensive streets in New York. I may not have the cash to shop but I just want to walk through and look around. 5th Avenue also has some amazing Museums I would love to go see

And most of all I would love to see the biggest Christmas tree in the world which is situated in Times Square Oh how I have dreams to be there in person and then spend a full weekend Christmas shopping Its suppose to be the most amazing experience :)

The next place I would love to visit would be of course

Paris oh wow the most romantic country in the world

Why would any woman not want to visit it :)

Of course the first place i would go would be Disney Land come on after all the years of watching nothing but Disney movies and still after so many years I watch them you cant tell me you would not like to visit it too be a child for one day lol

Then there is the food France is know for having the most amazing foods (mouth watering while I type) mmmmmmmmmm

And of course the shopping :) :)

The next place I would love to visit would be

Italy :)

Just everything about it looks amazing the food the people everything but the most places I would love to see in Italy is

Venice for the canals and the whole romantic experience how more romantic can it get sitting in a little boat going through the town

I would also love to visit the Cinque Terre, Rio Maggiore the 5 land of colourful houses by the sea wow

As you can probably tell I love scenic places and to be honest if I could I would go to every scenic place I know about to see them for myself all over the world

for instance

The grand Canyon in USA

awwww or the Glow worm Caves in New Zealand

The marble caves in Chile

The list goes on and on and on

Wow you would seriously want to be a billionaire to visit every amazing scenic place in the world but you can always dream eh :)

Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Candy Cane & Giveaway

Hey everyone How are you all doing today :)

If you are a regular reader you will know I am a HUGE fan of Sleek Makeup

I have tried their Eyeshadow Palettes in which are just Amazing and If you are look for amazing quality eyeshadows at amazingly affordable prices check them out

I also love their blushes

and lastly I love their contour and highlight kit which has been a favourite for the past 2 years

I never really tried anything else until a few months ago I got a Lipstick by Sleek in one of my Glossyboxes. The sleek lipsticks I have heard alot of good things about but never actually got to try out until then. The shade was of course a tad bit too dark for me even though I would wear it on a special occasion so I decided to go buy another shade to try out :)

So I went with Candy Cane as it looks bright and cheerful and suitable for Spring/Summer by the swatches on the site.

Not only that but i ordered one extra why??? find out at the end of this post :)

Sleek lipsticks come in two finishes Sheen and Matte and as you can see "Cherry" is a sheen lipstick :)

There are about 20 shades of lipstick to choose from shades to suit everyone :) and on the Sleek site its actually has swatches of each lipstick on three different skin tones which is brilliant as you will get an idea what lipstick suits your skin tone. Each lipstick costs £4.99 each for 3.5g which is great value :) Plus they are sold in Superdrug where they are always doing deals like 3 for 2 or buy 2 for a cheaper price :)

In my last review I told you I instantly fell in love with this lipstick
Firstly for the packaging Its hard to explain but the packaging almost has a grip like feeling to it its black and small and perfect for any sized purse

Oh Ladies When i seen this shade in person I was kinda scared lol Its so bright :) But yet I could not wait to apply to my lips straight away. This is a Sheen lipstick with means its a semi matte shade. Like Cherry (the one I already own) This is hugely pigmented and a little goes a long long way. Not only is it highly pigmented but feels amazing on the lips. Its easy to apply and very moisturising. Again you can apply this lipstick as light sheer as you want or as bold as you want as its buildable :)
Candy Cane is a stunning (& I mean Stunning) Pinky Coral shade with reddish undertones :)
Overall this is a stunning shade for Spring and Even better for Summer I love it.

The lasting power of this lipstick is amazing. I did put it to the kiss test kissing every one of my babies (5) and it was still going strong on my lips after ward in fact it leaves a stain I love it :) lol the faces the pulled was so funny here are 4 of them posing with the lippy on their cheeks

Hello My Fantastic Social Media Friends :) How are you all doing today :)

Its Day 9 of the Blog Everyday in May Challenge and today's topic is Favourite Social Media Channel

Let me just begin by saying "Hi my name is Nina and I am a Social Media Addict"

There its all out in the open I am an Addict

I can not go through a day without even checking mail, notifications etc.

I just can unless I have no credit in my phone and I'm away from the laptop lol

You see this is what I get for becoming a Blogger

Before I became a Blogger I was only ever signed up to one site and that was

I chatted away to people on it and shared photos etc. but to be honest I wasn't even addicted to that I would go for days before I would check to see if anyone wrote to me or not.

That's until another site came along and got me interested about 4 years ago actually when Bebo announced they would be no more

I signed up to the famous

I remember I was pregnant with my twins when I signed up to facebook and i have to admit thats the reason I signed up. I knew I was going to be extremely pregnant and not going to be able to get out and about much so the only way to keep up with everyone (that didn't cost much money aka phone calls and texting) was Facebook. Then lots of people from school I hadn't talked to in years started adding me and I found it brilliant to be able to catch up with them. After that I started slowly getting hooked. Again I would go days without checking Facebook and then that all changed about 3 years ago. When the twins was born I literally got no sleep at all so the only way to keep me busy and keep me awake was facebook. Then I started noticing people had blogs. Hmmmmmmm interesting and even more hooked. I decided 2 years ago to start up my own blog and BAMMMM Thats when the addiction set in :) :) Now obviously I am not on it 24 hours a day but I have my facebook on my phone now as well so I don't miss out on my notifications blah blah blah you know it all you are probably the same. In the mornings after the kiddies are gone to school I am checking facebook catching up etc.

Facebook is definitely one of my most visited Social Media sites

What i have noticed now about facebook is I am only ever on it because of my blog. I used to and still do have a personal page on facebook which i very rarely be on anymore. I am literally only ever on my facebook page for my blog. I am on it everyday for the blogging community and to be honest if I wasnt involved in the blogging community I wouldnt be on facebook as much. Facebook has changed alot since I started using it for instance

Facebook is very very Dangerous too though Like there is kids as young as 8 on facebook which is crazy as there is alot of creepy people on there and there is some horrible stuff been posted up. My sister who is 14 is on facebook but I make sure to check up on her account every week to see who she is friends with and what does be said to her she has experienced some bullying which i have dealt with but it doesn't stop the bullying or the fact that things has been said to her I dont think anyone who cant deal with bullying should be allowed on facebook as there is a a chance they will be bullied and you have all seen that some teens have taken their own lives over this. Even though its the same on my social media site Facebook is one of the most popular ones and where alot of bullying takes place.

Another thing I find so so annoying is seeing a million statuses put up say by one person putting up what they have eating how they are feeling when they wake up when they go toilet etc. These statuses saying "Like if you think im good looking comment if you think im ugly" come on like seriously get a grip people your looking for trouble putting up stats like that.

awwww Youtube has literally taken over the Tv for me. I dont really watch TV anymore since starting Youtube. I have watched numerous youtube videos and especially watch makeup ones. I have learned so much from them already and seem to enjoy them more anything from how to videos to vlogs to anything of my Interests. You tube is amazing and so much better than any soap operas or tv programs out there. No matter what you want to learn or find out about you will always find it on youtube. I even went to the extent of starting up my own channel which i have taken a break from but will soon be back making them myself Its also a great way to meet people from all over the world watching their vlogs is amazing I love to see how people live and what their traditions are and it shows that just because they are from different countries they can be alot in common with you.

Its also great to see videos of different countries views, landscapes etc as you might never get going to these places

Another site im hooked on now is

I am loving twitter lately and to be honest never actually see any bullying going on there. The best thing about twitter is you can see what your favourite celeb is getting up too literally everyone is on it and I think its great. I have met some amazing bloggers through twitter who barely be on facebook.

Its great i love it :)

I have been a member about a year now. I think its a great site for everyone :)

Instagram I only really started up about 3 months ago and i have to admit I absolutely love it so much so that when i got my new phone and realised it wasnt compatible for Instagram i was raging. I love photos love seen what my friends post up after all whatever they post up is what is either their favourite things or of where they are from or what ever its part of their lives and its so so interesting :) Now the whole posting up every meal you eat is a little on the annoying side but again different countries have different foods etc and its interesting :) I love it :) thank goodness I kept my old phone so I can still be involved on Instagram and not miss out :)

At the end of the day yes i am officially hooked on the whole social media life because as a mum of 5 I dont get out that much and I like to keep up to date with the going ons in the world, but there is life outside of that. I can stay away from it too I have to I am a mother and showing my kids that sitting in front of a laptop all day is not the way of life so i am careful of that too. when they sleep im on it or when they are playing im on it but when they want mummy time i will always put them first. There is more to life than social media and always remember that. Make sure to give yourself a limit while using it as there is nothing worse than trying to have a conversation with someone who is stuck on their phones, pads or whatever and not listening to you. Marriages and relationships have broken up because of Social Media which is sad because verbal communication has totally when out the window in some homes because of people bee hooked and that damages alot of families.

Use with caution I say and Enjoy the real life as we all still have to live it

Day 8: Blog Everyday In May.......First Job

Hello my beauties how are you all doing today :)

There is a reason I have the above picture up and you will find out why in a moment

Todays topic is First Job...... Tell us about your first job. Did you love it or was it horrendous?

Wow this brings me back years and I smile while I remember my first job because I absolutely loved it :)

I was 11 years old and in Ireland at that time the weather in the Summer was actually beautiful in fact the summers used to be so so hot and lasted a good 3 months which doesnt happen any more :(

I was so excited to have landed myself a job doing Raspberry Picking :)

It ment I was getting my own money and also getting out of the house in the summer which in all honesty was a blessing as I lived in the country and none of my true friends were living beside me so it ended up the summers were a little too lonely for me and in all fairness there was only so much of your little brothers and sister you could take at that age after all my hormones were everywhere and I needed that to "make me happy" lol

So I had to be there at 8 am in the morning until about 4 in the day and that was fine with me. I remember my first day I could not contain myself I was that excited I got there a half hour before work started.

I remember the mornings bee so crisp and misty that you could tell the day was going to be hot and sunny I loved them mornings in fact I still do

I remember literally been given a bucket and shown to the back of the owners house and all I could see was lengths of bushes apon bushes of raspberrys (the picture above is not the actual place but its exactly how it looked like)

I was given one lane which seemed to go on forever and told to pick the best and leave the ones that were not ripe enough. When I had my bucket filled I was to go back and get the bucket weighed and they would keep an account of how much i picked. I got to work straight away. I remember meeting this boy who was given the other side of my lane and every so often we used to meet each others hands lol it was so funny of all the raspberries we had on both sides we ended up reaching for the same one.

I cant even remember his name but we became chatting buddies as we made our way up our sides on the lanes :)

The owner was well impressed with me at how quick I was picking that he said I was better off bringing two buckets with me to save me travelling up and down to the garage and thats what i did.

I remember the days there been so so hot It was so nice to sit under the tree and have my lunch. There used to be a stream down the road to where I was working and I used to go down to it and wet my feet. I remember how peaceful that job was and how peaceful it was just to be on my own at the stream eating my lunch . It was heaven

One Thing I remember about the raspberry picking was the fact I didnt even like Raspberries which meant I didnt eat any and there was more in my bucket

ok I have to admit now when I think of the pay we use to get for the hard work we did was nothing. i mean I think at that time we got something like 50 pence per punnet you filled believe me that was a small amount for the work you put into picking

I remember on my first week when Friday came and the owner was adding up all of the buckets we picked some peoples end of the week wages used to add up to £5 some peoples was £10 but when he came to mine I will never forget his face , he added up looked at me added up again looked at me and smiled saying "this girl has to be the hardest fastest worker we every had" I was so proud of myself I couldnt wait to tell my daddy lol and my wages????? £36 I was jumping with excitement of course the weeks after the wages got a little less because the Raspberries started to run low and the days seemed to have got longer and longer because it was more difficult to find raspberries to fill a bucket but It was still fun and I will never forget my first job :)

Day 7: Blog Everyday In May......... Pets ...... Animals I love and would love to own ;)

Hey everybody How are you all doing today :)

Todays topic is on Pets...... bout ones we own or used to own but to be honest I thought I would change this around a little and share with you all what my favourite animals are and which ones I would love to have as pets :) I love Animals full stop I think they are so cute and adorable, cute and so so loyal :)

My first favourite Animal of course has to be

Huskys are a long long long time favourite of mine. Oh my goodness I want one now even looking these photos. They are known to be the fastest dog ever and used for pulling sleighs they are the hardest working dogs and so dedicated to their owners The next dog to them is the Alaskan Malamute which are the largest and most powerful sled dogs and of course again very dedicated to their owners :)

I did have one :( last year but I had to pass him onto someone who could look after him better as they had more space than me here is a photo of him :(

This is Huchi Wasnt he absolutely adorable :) :) But he is in a better place with more space and freedom :) I still miss him :(

The next favourite animal of mine

The Cheetah

I have found a new love for these amazing Cats. Not only are they the fastest Animals in the world, she is also the most amazing mother in the world. The lengths that she will go just to protect her young is amazing. She will battle everything and anything no matter how big or small to protect her young. She has to literally take care of her young from the moment she has them as the father leaves the pack as soon as they are both. She puts me in mind of us human mums out there. She teaches her cubs everything she knows and then when she feels they are ready to fend for themselves she leaves them be but always checks on them Love it :)

My next favourite animals are

The most amazing Tigers

Just look at the eye of him in that photo wouldnt you look at that photo forever !!!!

Now the funny thing is I am not a lover of Cats because of a bad experience I had when I was a kid with them but here I am putting 2 different species of cats up as my favourite animals lol

The Tiger is the Largest Cat of all. I love how they sit so proudly and they way they move you can see how muscular and how clever they move. Their coat is amazing I love everything about them I would love one as a pet to cuddle up to I bet they are so warm and cosy :)

The Grey Squirrel

I know that these are more aggressive than the red squirrel but they are so so cute. My mum lives in an apartment which is 3 storeys high and she has a balcony where there is alot of trees around and if you sit in the balcony you will see nothing but grey squirrels running 2 and fro from tree to tree there is something so peaceful about watching them

Penguins

Awwww do I even need to tell you why I love them

They are just too cute with their little woddle and stuff :)

Pandas

They are so fluffy and cuddly and cute and squishy and I want one beside me in my bed at night you would never need an electric blanket or a man in your life if you had one beside you hehehehe

Ok I think I will stop there lol :)

I think you get the picture I love animals so much but these would have to be my top favourite and actually on my wishlist to own even though I would never actually get to own one but hey I can still dream eh?

Day 6: Blog Everyday In May............ Bank Holiday Fun

Hey Everybody Its Monday Bank Holiday once again Wow these days I fine Bank Holiday creeping up on me like no mans business. Its mad Years ago I found Bank Holidays would never come :) Especially when you would be looking forward to a good weekend out :) In Ireland Bank Holidays 90% of the time is a weekend to look forward to going out in the town with your friends and having a good knees up :) aka plenty of drinking and craic :)

When I had My first baby Them weekends Reduced to maybe one or two weekends out

Now with 5 kiddies going out on a Bank Holiday Weekend exists no more :)

I actually can not even remember the Last Bank Holiday Weekend I was out in the town but to be honest I dont miss it either especially when I look on Facebook Monday Mornings and see the sayings "Oh my poor head" or "I am never drinking again" or the good auld saying in Ireland "Anyone coming for a cure" lol

It doesnt mean I will never go out on a Bank Holiday again but at the moment they are on hold and I dont mind it one little bit.

Now onto how I spend my Bank Holidays :)

Well like every other day that varies but I do like to make sure that I do Something with the kiddies after all they are off school and when its either raining, snowing or the sun is shining its nice to get out and about

So As I said weekend differ in my house so I will share with you what happened so far this weekend

Well for the first time ever 3 out of my 5 kiddies were asked to stay over either in their friends houses or in their grandparents which in deed has been a treat for both them and me :) :)

They are having an absolute ball

So that leaves me with the twins now in all honesty the twins felt a little out of place because the house felt so empty poor little mites. It showed me more than anything this weekend how close each one of my kiddies are with each other which I love :)

So I decided yesterday to bring the twins to their favourite playcentre in which they had a ball :)

They were so excited and we had our lunch out and got sweeties after it. Today they will be coming away with me to visit my aunty who they have only met once since they were born I am excited about that. I am hoping it will perk her up as she is not feeling too good but she adores kids and it will be lovely for her to see them. The rest of my gang is coming home later today so I have a movie night planned out for them. Popcorn the lot and they have no idea I am doing it :) Its these moments I treasure more than spending alot of money going out in the town (dont get me wrong I love to go out its nice to get a break too) but seeing huge smiles on your childrens faces and making beautiful childhood memories for you children is worth everything

They going out on the Bank Holiday Weekend will happen again but im in no rush to get back to it yet. This is the time to make amazing memories for your children after all when we are adults most of or memories go back to our childhood some of us have had really crappy childhoods some of us have had a brilliant childhood but at the end of the day Its worth seeing a child smile :) :)
Another thing I really got to enjoy for the first time in god knows how long was the MOST AMAZING LONGEST LUSH BATH EVER without been disturbed in anyway oh my goodness its was a night to remember because normally when i have a bath I literally get about 10 minutes before someone calls out "Mammy......" but after the twins went to bed I was literally in the bath like a shot and spent a full hour in it awwwwww bliss

So thats my weekend so far :)

Day 5: Blog Everyday In May................Fit and Healthy

Hey my beautifuls I am very proud of myself I am on day 5 and still havent missed a day yet wahoo for the Nina baby :)

I hope you are enjoying these posts I really love the whole challenge thing I havents even looked at the calender with the list of topics we have to write about each day until the day its due as a surprise for myself plus its an extra challenge as I do not have time to plan the post :)

Todays post is Fit And Healthy: "What do you do to stay fit or be a healthy individual? Share any useful tips and advice. Or tell us about your plans to get healthier."

I am going to be honest straight out to you all I am not one to keep a Health plan or im not a fitness person in any way. I dont stick to any food plan or I have never once entered a Gym. Sounds bad I know but to be honest I never really had the time to go to the Gym not with 5 kids

People are always asking me how I keep trim and healthy looking and I basically answer them the same reply "Its my kiddies who keep me this way" lol because its true.

When it comes to fitness I have to admit I am in no way fit at all but I do walk alot. I always bring the kiddies out for a walk (depending on the weather) for an hour a day so that in my eyes is plenty of exercise for the day. I love playing games and doing activities with my kids and thats what keeps me trim too. You remember being a child once all you did was run around and play and no matter what you ate as a child you burned it off instantly well whats wrong with lifting a football going to the park and playing footy with the kiddies or going swimming with them or simply bringing them to the park and playing with them lol Jump onto that trampoline its fun and a great way to keep fit. Getting a bouncing castle for your childs birthday ?? Join in with them who cares who is looking at you its fun and your kids think its so funny that you are jumping with them. I dont like sitting around all day doing nothing its not in my nature. Even when I am sitting at the laptop doing my blog posts at some stage I have to get up, do something and go back to it.

Food wise I dont restrict myself against any foods because to be honest I believe once you restrict yourself you crave for it more and that leads to binging on that particular food type be it chocolate, carbs etc.
I believe eat in moderation and your body will not crave for it. Listen to your body If you crave for something ALLOW YOURSELF WHAT YOU CRAVE FOR but also know when to stop.
I do believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day, if you skip it then you can not function properly a good breakfast means no dipping into the biscuit tin or heading to the shop for a bar of chocolate and a packet of crisps.
Eating out of boredom is a no no because you feel like poo basically try entertaining yourself in other ways like going for a nice relaxing bath, painting your nails or going for a walk. Your body doesnt need boredom food so dont give in
I suffer with IBS which means that I have had to learn the hard way that White pasta, Too much chocolate, White breads etc is a no no for me so I have had to train myself to buy brown of everything. Fruits is very hard on my stomach because of IBS which is horrible as I love fruit so I cant eat it but I do stew my fruits and that is easier on my stomach its the same with vegetables I cant eat them raw but I do half cook them as I love a crunch in my veg and that works for me too.
Once you train yourself to shop properly you will be healthy. Never shop on an empty stomach !!!!!!!!!!! You end up buying foods that you will not even eat or you buy pure junk foods which is ok in moderation but you will notice at the check out that half of your shopping is junk food hmmmmmmm.
I love sweets anything sweet around me is consumed and I will not restrict myself come on its hard to say no to a lovely slice of chocolate cake or a bowl of icecream or a packet of your favourite sweets but there is a thing call portions and once you stick to portions your fine you do not need to go over the portion to be satisfied
I tend go healthy 2 days in the week to give my body a little detoxing time which means I have a healthy dinner lunch etc containing lots of vegetables and either white meat or fish.
I also very rarely fry my food when doing stir frys or cooking meat I either roast or boil and it tastes just as good.

To be honest ladies and gents at the moment I am actually trying to put on weight which hard to believe is just as hard as trying to lose it as im sure there is some of you out there in the same boat Believe me there is nothing sexy about been stick thin and its no fun trying to dress. I am proud of myself lately I have gained weight and went up a dress size but it has been hard to do especially with my busy schedules and especially when I dont want to feel like im a waste bin inside. I wanted to do this in a healthy way not just totally binge of junk food and end up feeling like crap but thats another blog post when I reach my goal weight and dress size I will be sharing with you all how i did it :)

Always remember one thing and that is YOUR ARE BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER WHAT SHAPE OR SIZE YOU ARE AND DO NOT CHANGE YOURSELF FOR ANYBODY ONLY YOURSELF !!!!!!!

To be honest Its too difficult to choose honestly I absolutely love reading all different types of blogs. Where do I start with Joanne This girl is beautiful inside and out :) Her blog is absolutely amazing I am so jelly of her newly designed blog. From the moment you click into her blog you will be entertained with either product review, fashion posts, tutorials and so on. She has a new youtube channel which has been a hit from day one. She is a very talented Makeup artist, Curvy model, stylist and amazing reviewer. She is a very independant woman and an inspiration to all women. She supports alot of companies but one major company she has teamed up with is Scarlet Jewellery an Irish Company who sell amazing costume jewellery. Awwww This girl is a little sweetheart who I have met in person a few times now and have become good friends with in the past year or so. We literally chat everyday and we have so much in common. Before I got to know Sarah I loved her blog from day one. To be honest she deserves alot more exposure than she gets :) She has an amazing fashion sense and could literally come into your home and make amazing outfits out of your wardrobe even out of the clothes you have stuffed into the back because you haven't a clue how to style them up. She can copy any celeb outfit and make a more affordable look similar to the celeb's outfit. She is also a quality Beauty Therapist and does some random makeup tutorials on her you-tube channel. She has a passion for what she does and you can see that in her posts and videos. Love this girl Only for her I wouldn't know how to dress my shape :)

Pixy Almond Milk Face Scrub Review

Hey everyone How are you all doing today :)

The weather has dramatically changed since yesterday here

Its rainy windy and not so bright and cheery but hey at least its not freezing cold :)

Today I am bringing you another Pixy Review. I know Im kind of getting addicted but I just cant help myself. The products are amazingly affordable and just smells irresistible.

Today's review is on the newest item (Along with my big haul of items I got from the site :)

The Almond Milk Face Scrub. I was a tad bit wary about getting this because funny enough there is not many reviews about it but to tell you the truth thats what made me want to buy it more. I love trying out products that dont have many reviews about them as I like the surprise :)

Our Almond Milk Face Scrub is crammed full of skin softening ingredients like jojoba and apricot oils and buttermilk and yoghurt powders, to nourish and protect as it gently exfoliates leaving a delicious almond fragrance.

The scrub comes in a tin like container with a screw on/off lid and there is 50g of product which costs 9.95 euro :) which is a bargain believe me :)

When I opened up the container I was greeted with the strong scent of almond mmmmmmmm delish :)

As you can see the tin is jammed to the top that there is even some product on the lid I love that. Lol when i seen this first it made me thing of frog spawn lol sorry I just had to share that come on does it not look like frog spawn to you :) Comment below :)

Anyhooooooo

Well you all know how much I love the Pixy Cleansing Mud . Oh boy that stuff is amazing and leave my skin feeling oh so soft its just beautiful (might not look beautiful) lol

So I had high hopes for this and tried it out straight away.

The instructions is straight forward basically

Wet your face

Apply a small amount to your face

Massage gently using circular motions

And rinse off using warm water

Let me tell you now this stuff is super thick so you really only need a small amount to do your entire face :)

When the scrub meets your warm face it instantly softens up and you get this amazing whiff of Almond as you massage. It reminds me of Christmas every time I use this even though I dont like Christmas cake I love the smell of marzipan and it smells like that :)

The beads look big but they are not at all rough on the face as long as you do not scrub vigorously. The scrub does not lather in any way and sort of feels a little oily while you was washing but once you rinse it off that oily feeling is gone.

My skin felt smooth and I did not have that dry tight feeling I get from some facial scrubs I have used in the past. The fact that this scrub has all the nice natural ingredients in it make it even more pleasurable to use :)

This scrub is so gentle to use that you could get away with using it everyday but to be honest I dont I would use this 3 times a week depending on how much I feel I need to use it.

I have to say I do love this and if you are an apricot lover You will love this.

I cant say I prefer this over the Pixy Cleansing Mud because I dont It surely comes first but I do recommend This scrub to you all to try out :)

Day 3: Blog Everyday In May.......... A Day in The Life of Miss Nina

Top of the morning to you all :) :)

Well now todays blog post is about a Day in the Life of MEEEEEEE

Wow this is going to be cray cray lol

After all I do have kiddies but I will try to have everything straight to the point and not long winded I promise :) I will tell you about my day yesterday and add a little of what normally goes on in my house

Ok first of all as you see by the picture above I normal am up in the morns in time to see the sun rise. I was up at 5.30 because a little visitior decided to jump in beside me at 3.30am and since that ive be kicked, head-butted, dribbled on and of course have landed with a creak in my neck because i didnt want to move out an awkward possition in case i woke him. Poor thing had a bad dream so I couldnt say no to him :)

7.00am School Rush can be hard work as the oldest and the youngest out of the 3 are not morning people but Nina snaps them into reality usually by a big breakfast or threaten them with the "awwww maybe you need vitamins if your so tired all the time" lol they surely pick up the pace :) You see there was one time I got vitamins that didnt taste nice and they were not impressed I kinda kept them in the press just for those day i need them to move faster (Cruel? Nah i would never actually give them the vitamins lol im not that bad)

8am: The 3 oldest is gone to school by bus and its now time to get the twins who are 3 their brekkie :) and of course mummy needs her brekkie and cup of tea where I like to sit down and check my emails, maybe read a blog post or two or 5 lol, and maybe start on one myself.

9am: Time for a shower which normally happens with the twins playing in my bedroom with my makeup brushes (i have some set aside for them to play with ;)) they love playing with them or their brothers ds's

Depending on the day But I normally do my makeup or have a makeup free day which i like to do. Today is a "No Makeup day" So its literally a 5 minute look just enough to cover the dark circles from the night before :)

10-12 am Is clean up time normally the simple everyday house hold chores like washing dishes , washing clothes folding clothes bladdy blah blah :) sometimes I get my photos taken at this time because the sun is in my back garden at this time so perfect opportunity

1PM: The twins have their dinner and normally I prepare the dinner for the 3 oldest when they come in from school they usually are in their words "Starvin" lol

2pm -4pm The 3 oldest are home and of course my 14 year old sister comes in the door at this stage as she goes to school in the same town as me so its handier for her to come here after school. They all sit to eat then BOOM EXPLOSION "Homework time" "mammy I cant do this" "mammy will you help me" "Nina I need this signed" lol brilliant Love it but most days they are all ok to do their homework themselves :)

The twins of course are given their own papers and pencils to "do their homeworks ;)

After Homework they all go outside to play and I sit with a cuppa in front of the laptop to do more on my blog post. Normally disturbed about 20 times in the space of a half hour but one or all of the kiddies lol

5pm Time for a walk up town to treat the kiddies to some sweeties I do this once a week(the sweeties part i mean) I do love to take them all out for a walk for an hour a day just because its healthy for them and me :)

6pm-8pm Tea time, play-time, storytime and bedtime busy but bliss when the house falls silent YES!!!!!

Now time for me to get ready for bed time I love jumping into my pjs, tidy over and relaxing for the evening and having my dinner in peace. Usually at this time I do blog posts, catch up on my favourite blogs watch videos and all that good stuff.

Sleep can vary as the twins usually wake up twice a night still yes i know but they were born 2 months premature so they are stuck in a routine they used to have to be woken every hour when they were born for months so its not their fault but when i give them in a drink they usually go straight back to sleep. My sleep is between 5-6 hours which believe me is alot compared to what I got for the first 2 years of the twins lives I survived on 2 hours a night :)

I like to keep a routine when it comes to the kiddies food times and bed times after that you never know what the day brings from one day to the next which I love more than anything. I love being a mum because im so busy everyday and thats they way I always have been

I hope this wasnt too long winded and boring for you lol

As i sit here this morning I think wow today was different already and its not even 9.30am yet :) For example my 7 year old is in Dublin with his dad now getting fitted for a new eye as he has taken a sudden growth spirt and the eye he has got is getting too small and causing him a little agro and he is getting his eye that he has now polished up (If you are new and dont know what i mean check out this blog post to fill you in ) plus I have to help my oldest daughter, my teen sister and her friend get ready for a junior disco later this evening awwwww its never ending :)

Day 2: Blog Everyday in May....... Spring is here

Hello everybody :) Today's Blog Everyday in May topic is ....Spring is here

To be honest I actually had to wreck my brains to think of a blog post to write on this heading. Its seems easy enough but when you put fingers to keypad for some reason you get typist block if thats such a thing so I decided I will point out a few thing and include picture of how I know when spring is here in Ireland because for many countries Spring time is different. I suppose its basically my favourite things about Spring time :)

Now in all honesty spring time did not start great here they weather was so bad that it felt like winter and some weeks we would be stuck inside because of the awful wind rain and even snow at some points. All was not lost because at mid April the weather started to pick up the evenings started looking brighter and the mornings start off bright and crisp so much so I started seeing one of my favourites sites in my life....... The Sun Rise most morning :) :)

What I also love is the sound of the birds chirping in the mornings and even during the day. Its such a sweet beautiful sound so peaceful and you cant help but smile when you wake to a super bright morning and lots of birds chirping. I have a big tree in my back garden with lots of nests full of old and new birds my garden does be filled with birds eating food that i have left out for them I love it :)

Another thing I love about the spring time is the flowers blooming there is nothing more exciting and beautiful than seeing your garden brighter and fresher from the flowers you have planted the bright colours and the fresh scent from them is wonderful. These are more flowers from my lovely sister I have to add to my garden I love them

Another thing I love about Spring is getting out more with my family. More family days out Its amazing how just getting out of the house more puts an amazing feeling in your bones :) Seeing the smiles on their beautiful little faces gives me such a rush its so hard to explain the warm feeling. My heart is racing now even thinking of their little happy faces and the fact they are getting out into the fresh air soaking up some Vitamin D puts a beautiful flush to their cheeks. When they are happy and content mammy is happy and content :)

Lastly what I of course can think of the the change in colours when it comes to Beauty and fashion. Your outfits change your makeup changes and of course out comes the tan :) We all start to thinking of bright colours wearing less wintery shades more Spring colours I love the bright shades of everything and most of all I love the brights in makeup and in nails It some how makes people look younger in so many different ways

Day 01 :Blog Everyday in May........ 5 Lines

Hey my beauties :)

As you know today is the 1st of May (time is flying by too fast) and I am sure you all know at this stage I love challenges and tags. I have done a few challenges like the 28 kisses challenge and the Instagram challenge A Photo a Day on Instagram Last month which I totally enjoyed :)

So Last night I was kinda sad because it was over and I was wondering if there was going to be any other appealing challenges for this month and low and behold Nykki for Nykki Talks Beauty posted up a link to a challenge she is taking part in and I really like the sound of it :) So I decided YES I am sooooo doing this challenge and here we go.

So basically she has posted up a calender of the month of May and each day has a blog post idea for you to do each day of course you can think of your own but this is a guideline to what you can do :)

I am excited and I cant wait to try this out as it will definately be a challenge to get a blog post up every single day including my own blog post but hey it would be called a CHALLENGE otherwise eh?

So Day 1 is 5 lines........ and I decided I would write 5 facts you do not know about me :)

When i was a teenager my favourite boy band of all time were the backstreet boys and still to this day I love singing their songs :)
I never swim in the sea because i have a serious phobia of jellyfish oh my goodness if i seen one now I would cringe I literally cant even look at pictures of them ahhhhhhhhhh
I suffer with IBS Irritable Bowel Syndrome which is absolutely horrible especially if I eat the wrong foods like white bread or pasta or too much chocolate. I tell you when IBS plays up on my I look about 3 months pregnant its horrible
When I was pregnant with my 2nd baby I suffered very badly with pre-natal and post natal depression . It was a very dark part of my life and I am hoping one day soon I will do a write up about it (if you would like me to do that let me know in the comments below)
My first pet was a dog called Toby which was actually my nana's dog and he used to follow us home everyday when we visited nana. He was so clever and used to always escape from nanas to get to our house which was able a half mile away from nanas and wanting to stay with us so we ended up just keeping him at ours :)

So that is 5 lines (well sort of lines) 5 facts about me you didnt know about me

Famous X First Date Blush in Angelina & Scarlett

Hello everybody how are you all doing today :)

Well the sun is shining and the kiddies is outside and I had a very productive day taking lots and lots of photos of products for future reviews :) I love having them days :)

So I am in a super dooper form and ready for my next review which is on the First Date Blushes by Famous X. If you are a regular to my blog you will know Famous X if not check out my other reviews to get familiar with it :)

If there is one thing I love about Famous Cosmetics Products its the packaging..... Just look at this packaging isnt it to die for :) Like for the price I can safely say that in person the packaging makes it look like you have paid 3 time more than what you have paid.
I was so so excited to try these as they were only £4.99 for a whopping 7.5g of product.
It is a little hard to detect the exact shade on the site but I ended up picking the 2 shades that appealed to me more

Just look at the size of the mirror you get with these :) who need compact mirrors when you have these babies :)
When you get the blushes they are covered in a removable plastic covering which is great for hygiene but once you take that off that it no cover which i dont mind.
Let me go ahead and show the shades :)
First we have:

Angelina: This is my favourite out of the two. Oh boy is this one pigmented lol the first time i tried this i dipped my brush a little too hard and i ended up looking like a clown :) So a little bit of advice for you all please use with caution hahahaha. This is a very very pretty Deep rosey pink shade and nice warm toned blush that gives a fantastic pop of colour to ones cheeks. Not only that but its matte :) :) I believe this will suit every skin tone because it is quite build able but for anyone who has fair skin PLEASE USE A LIGHT HAND :) I do find you need to work a little bit more than normal blush to blend this but its oh so worth it I promise

Scarlett: This is a lovely dusty rose shade. I have to say this is more on the chalky side you will have a little more fall out with this that Angelina even though this is easier to work with as in blending that Angelina. This is hugely pigment again use with caution. This is the perfect blush for winter especially. Again this shade is matte but it tends to leave you with a beautiful glow.
I do like this shade but i find that it can make a mess while your using it because of its chalkiness

The above picture is of both blended out as you can see you can apply as lightly as you can and build them up to the intensity of the first swatch picture and even stronger.
So let me lay it down to you the good and the bad

The good
Affordable
Amazing packaging
Amazing amount of product
Super pigmented
Beautiful shades
6 - 8 hours lasting power

The bad
Scarlett is very chalky
Angelina needs a little more work blending out but nothing to complain about

Over all I am pleased with what I got for my money. I have to admit I have very little patience for Scarlett as it makes too much of a mess and I feel I am loosing more product than I am using so I will not be repurchasing that one but Angelina is a stunning shade not as chalky and looks amazing. I will purchase another shade to try out soon so I will add the swatches here when I do
For £4.99 you cant go wrong and these blushes will last forever (well ok not forever but for a very very very long time)

MUA Bronzed Perfection Review

Well hello there my fantastic gorgeous readers

How are you this fine Monday :)

I hope you all had a great weekend :)

Today I bring to you my review on the MUA Bronzed Perfection Bronzer :)

I have been dying to get my hands on this ever since it was released simply because I heard it was a matte bronzer and to be honest I prefer matte bronzers quicker than shimmery ones. Plus I liked the way MUA described it and I just had to see for myself.

Bronzed Perfection is lightly frosted, tinted powder that gives skin sheer, natural colour effects and highlights. Ideal for enhancing skin tones or to accent or strengthen a tan and is perfect for sculpting your face to perfection! Formulated to provide a smooth, even application on all skin types.

There is only one shade of this available and it costs only £3 for a whopping 15g of product how could you pass that. The worrying part of buying an affordable bronzer is the shade of it because 9 time out of 10 when you buy an affordable bronzer it turns out to be orange or muddy. So did this pass for me??? read on to find out :)

Ok lets start off with the packaging :) As you can see by the photos its simple and cheapish looking with a clear lid so you can see the shade but it is sturdy and at least the lid is not flimzy.

On the bronzer itself has nice imprints on the word bronzed on it which i like as it make it look like you have paid more than you did for it.

This is a perfect bronzer for fair to medium skin tones. What i noticed when i did opened this is you will notice a tiny amount of shimmer but when swatched all you get is a matte payoff. I think the shimmer is there for what MUA states "The natural effects and highlights"

Another thing I noticed was the bronzer is a little on the chalky side now its nothing to give out about believe me but just so I can let you all into every detail ;) but just a word of warning to use a light hand while using it or you will pick up too much product.

I absolutely love the colour payoff of this. Its neither muddy or too orange and gives you a nice day time bronzed look.

I use this mostly for contouring in the day time or if I dont want to use a blush i simply sweep a little of this on the cheeks. I love the payoff and I love the fact that you can build it up to the coverage you want. Application takes very little effort but a little more effort than say my Sleek contouring kit. It simply needed a little more blending out. I found the lasting power to be great it was about 6 hours on before I noticed it fading a little but you could get away it wearing it all day without feeling you need to touch up.

I think its a great everyday bronzer and for the price you can not go wrong. Put it this way you will have it a long time before it runs out with the size of it lol

Please excuse my tired looking eyes I had a crazy crazy week and exhaustion was hitting me :)

So overall I am very pleased with this. I like the finish as I do look nice and healthy not over over done with the sun kissed glow :)

If you are looking for an everyday bronzer or something to suit your fair or medium skin tone this is for you :)
