I decided to record this weeks sacred sound meditation a week early, because I knew I would not have time otherwise.

A dear friend, Rumi, is leaving this land to go back to her original country of Spain.. And we had her farewell party on Thursday.

My kids are involved in a kids community garden every week, www.familyfeastival.com.au, which I briefly posted about last week..

And I’m performing on the 21st April, Sunday at the Maleny Music Weekend. I will try to have it videoed so you can see..

Weekly Sacred Sound Meditation healing.

Sorry I’m a bit late with the sound meditation.

I’ve had internet problems, and I’ve been focused on my six children.

They are currently getting involved with a kids community garden. Where they will learn to grow their own food, plus have fun doing it. I’ve always imaged an adventurous sort of playground such as this to live. Check out the website for it @ www.familyfeastival.com.au

Sacred Sound Meditation featured weekly, by Ninindi

The basic sound of this meditation was taken from my loop station.

I’m currently selling my RC-20 Boss loop station, if anyone’s interested.

Did you know that mundaneness and concentrating on the mundane with your awareness, your intention.. is a sure way to remain present in the now?

I was going to use this space of chatting with you to channel some amazing info to you.. but guess what.. Life is already amazing!

I’m having a great life.

Not to say some things couldn’t be better.. they could..

Yet basically I’m happy.

What about you?

What is it that you need to be happy?

What profound wisdom could you find or discover, or could I give you, that would make a difference in your life?

Think it. Feel it.

And it will surely come to you.

Let go of expectation.

Expectation will surely block it.

You may think I’m sprouting mumbo-jumbo.. arcane crap..

It’s still raining in Maleny.

A while ago I posted about Giving Birth at the UpFront Club..

Well, my baby is going well. He’s happy most of the time, and growing big and heavy.

I never made it to the gig that I was supposed to be giving at that time, because I gave birth instead.

Now, I’m looking forward to performing live again when baby is big enough.. And I might be able to be the support gig for Sacred Earth when they come to town.

Also, Maleny Music Festival is on soon, and someone recommeded I perform there too. I would love to - Let the Universe provide!

It’s been raining.. a lot.

A lot of people have been getting cabin fever. I must that while there are difficulties with it constantly raining, I do enjoy the rain.

Looking out my window, is the view you will find on this video. Or more accurately, looking through the window.

This music was not originally intended as a sacred sound meditation, but is basically one.

It will now be used to introduce Sacred Sound Meditation by Ninindi Johnstone to the world.

My intention is now to post as sound meditation every week.

As I have six children though, please allow me to forgive myself if that does not happen.

I look forward to producing these singing sound meditations and hope you enjoy them too!

About to Give Birth at the UpFront Club, Maleny

On the 20th October, newly formed band, ‘Ín the Moment’ featuring three local lead women singers – Jenny McDonald, Bobbie Richardson, and Ninindi Johnstone – will be performing live music at the UpFront Club, Maleny.

What is unusual is that one of the local lead women vocalists, Ninindi Johnstone is due to have her sixth baby at any time. And it could just decide to make it’s appearance on the night.

There has been speculation around the whole town, of people that know Ninindi as a local performer and mother of five, as to when she will have her next baby.

Ninindi is purposefully vague when asked about the due date, she says, “baby is due at any time now. And people have been asking me that since mid-September. I must look really big for people to have been asking me for so long.”

“It’s really funny, because I’m not worried about it, but people ask me where I will have the baby since I’ve had mostly home births for my children. I reply anywhere, anytime.”

“There is a rumour floating around Maleny about me, and when I heard about I laughed my head off.. It’s called ‘The Urban Legend of Maleny.”’

“There is this woman that has her baby’s at Crystal Waters in the bamboo forest. She goes down to have her baby and hangs off the bamboo while she does it. Her name is Ninindi.”

“This rumour probably came about because I home birthed one of my children on a property at Crystal Waters with bamboo nearby.”

While Ninindi is looking forward to performing on Saturday, she could also be otherwise occupied in birth.

“I’ve heard so many comments about be giving birth while being at an event or performing on stage, it’s quite laughable that my baby might choose Saturday night to arrive.”

Look out for Ninindi with newly formed band ‘In The Moment’ on Saturday the 20th October at the UpFront Club, Maleny. You can find more information about Ninindi on her website.

Having performed last year at the Wellness Festival 2011, to great success, Ninindi Johnstone was invited to perform again this year…

The Wellness Fest is a great little event held in Crystal Waters Permaculture Community Village. It promotes wellness and positivity towards environmental issues.

“Wellness Fest is an invitation for all of us to slow down & find time to nourish ourselves despite the busy-ness that we all seem to experience.”

I absolutely love going to Crystal Waters itself, even when it’s market day. It’s a great place to relax on the grass, and relate to friends.

The Wellness Fest is an added bonus. With talks and music and a diverse variety of stalls, you get the relaxed feel of a market day on the grass, combined with a great day of entertainment.
