From what I hear on other sites, F-Zero X is an ok game. It is nothing spectacular. It has everything you might expect from the series but that is not enough to make it a great game. The graphics are definitely a negative. They don't look any better than gamecube and from what I have seen, look even worse than gamecube. There is an F-Zero game for the gamecube and it has better graphics than this one. That doesn't seem to make much sense but it's true.
It saddens me to see a lack luster game in the F-Zero series but there are other games in the sea. Well, right now there aren't too many others but hopefully by early next year the nintendo wii will have more games available for it. We can only hope.

Wii Shortage For The Holiday Season

It looks like the wii may not be able to keep up with the demand this holiday season. Nintendo is in risk of running out of wii's to sell which means stores may sell out around Christmas. Well that sucks for those of you who haven't picked up a nintendo wii yet, but for the rest of us... it doesn't really matter much. Just be happy you got your wii early instead of late.

Nintendo is Giving Away Free Wiimote Jackets

To help curb the amount of injuries and damage caused by flying wiimotes, Nintendo is giving away free protective jackets for wiimotes. All you have to do is go here and input your wii serial number to get one shipped to you. They are gonna start shipping the October 15th but you can preorder one today and not have to worry about it later. I am definitely going to get one of these. I mean they are free and helpful. Go get one. lol From now on maybe you will not have to worry about destroying your tv...

Halo 3 increases Xbox 360 sales past Wii on Amazon

The effects of Halo 3 are amazing. It is crazy how much a difference one game can make. The Xbox 360 is now ranked number 5 in Amazon's Computer and Video Games division, while the Wii is now ranked number 7.

LucasArts to Unleash the Force on the Wii in Spring 2008

As you can probably tell from the title, Lucas Arts has announced that they will be release The Force Unleashed on the Wii! I had heard about this game previously but never heard of it being on the Wii. This is great for Wii Star Wars fans out there. There will even be a special Wii Lightsaber Remote! This is epic! SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Sept. 18, 2007 - LucasArts today revealed that Star Wars™: The Force Unleashed™ will come to the Wii™ home videogame system from Nintendo next spring, offering owners the unique chance to live out their Jedi fantasies by wielding the Wii Remote™ as a lightsaber while using the Nunchuk™ controller to torment foes with their Force™ powers.

The Force Unleashed casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice" and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The game's expansive story is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. Halo 3, Unrelated But Important

So Halo 3 came out tonight and there were long lines at all the retailers nationwide. I was watching the whole thing on G4 TV. It was pretty exciting to watch! If you have and Xbox 360 then you should go pick up a copy. It got a 9.5 on Gamespot. I have never really gotten into the whole Halo craze myself though. I never found it as appealing as so many others have. Also, I don't have an Xbox... lol That might be it. Anyways maybe I will have some actual Wii news tommorow. Until then...

This is my first post for my Nintendo Wii blog. I wanted to blog about ever since I finally picked up a Nintendo Wii from Best Buy. I love how much technology Nintendo packed into such a small device, and it's simple too. I have always wanted to have a game detect my body movements and now I can. The Nintendo Wii really does all of this. It's amazing!
