In addition to digging slightly deeper holes than for the seedlings normally planted for Scoutrees, planters will need to spread some topsoil and/or woodchips around the trees. Water may be available to water the plants.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Youth should wear their uniforms, and bring, if possible, a shovel, bucket, work gloves and drinking water. Hot dogs and refreshments will be provided after the event. Sections may choose to participate in &lt;b&gt;Jamboree on the Trails (JOTT)&lt;/b&gt; along the Laurier Woods trails following Scoutrees.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* First Callander Scout Group will hold a&lt;b&gt; fundraising pancake breaksfast/brunch&lt;/b&gt;, Sunday, April 11, 8 a.m. to noon at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, at 345 Lansdowne St. in Callander. Tickets are $7 per person, $3 for children 7 and younger. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* Volunteers are needed for Scoutrees BBQ at Sears in Northgate Square, Saturday April 17. The radio which will be secured in the kitchen, should be turned on when the camp is in use and will alert listeners to severe weather and sudden weather changes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* Senior Scouts, Venturers and Scouters without first aid training can complete the &lt;b&gt;Standard First Aid Course&lt;/b&gt;, Satuirday and Sunday, March 27 and 28. The cost will be $35. Participants will need to provide their own lunch. A location will be announced shortly. Instead of planting seedlings to reforest a bush area, Nipissing Area will be working with the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority to plant larger trees in North Bay. When Northeastern Ontario Region was amalgamated with Northwestern Ontario Region, Gary was appointed as its first executive director and became known to many Nipissing Area Scouters. When Scouts Canada restructured in late 2004, Gary was again promoted to become one of the first multi-council executive directors. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Gary is survived by his wife Toni (also a Scouter) and his four children, Susan, Daniel, Jeff and Peter.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Scouts Canada has created a &lt;a href="http://www.scouts.ca/dnn/AboutUs/GoneHome/GaryWaycik/tabid/1571/Default.aspx"&gt;memorial page&lt;/a&gt;
