jazakallah khayr for helping us choose a logo

We asked around and the sheikh said that it is permissible to have the butterfly since its a silhouette and not an image.

definition:A silhouette is a view of an object or scene consisting of the outline and a featureless interior.

Either way we will remove the butterfly seeing as some of our clients are sensitive to the topic. wa salaam!

So far as I am designing my niqabs I have searched for 'muses' and I found some super cool ones! So far the Bedouin women have the most colorful ones, most intricate and most unique ones. MashaAllah. So I am going to share the muses. (Not all of them are Bedouins but you will see which one are ;))

yeah I know it is a strange niqab but I liked the look.

I have more to share later but for now these are my muses. What do you think? Aren't these sister adventurous? Which one would you wear?

I will be competing for $100,000 (make du'a for me!)

As Salaamu Aalaykum!

ok so yesterday I told you guys I was going to start my niqab line, inshaAllah, (I have some sketches and samples) and today as I was browsing one of my fave bloggers Tim Ferris, author of the 4 hour work week (AWESOME book) I found he is hosting a contest with shopify. The grand prize is $100,00! Even after taxes it would SOO pay off my debt. Anyway the contest begins on January 1st and I am still reading the fine print but basically the winner is the person that can set up a biz and sell the most in 2 consecutive months from Jan-Jun. So I am on overdrive and I am sharing it with you guys in the hopes that you guys make du'a for me also so that you guys (if you live in the USA am not sure about Canada) could attempt it as well!

SO PLEASE MAKE DU'A THAT I WIN (if you are not gonna compete)! AMEEN!

This is from his Blog

Shopify and I are running a 6-month “Build Your Business” competition. The store with the most revenue for two consecutive months (we’ll use your best two) wins $100,000.

There are other runner-up prizes, and there will be worthwhile surprises. To support you with the tools and skills you need, there will be expert tutorials on critical subjects (like Google Adwords testing, design, etc.) on a monthly basis at minimum, posts on this blog with real-life examples, and more.

The bullets:

* $100,000 for the grand winner
* $120,000 total in prizes
* 6 months starting January 1 but you can (and should) get started now. Even two weeks of practice will give you a massive advantage. I strongly suggest playing with it now.
* The best two consecutive months of sales count
* Even if you don’t win the prizes, you should end up with a viable business at the end of 6 months
* The steps and details in the new, expanded 4-Hour Workweek will be used as ground-zero for instructions
* Contest open — unfortunately — to US residents only. Please see “Afterword” below for why you should do it regardless. The tools and guidance will be available to all entrants.
To learn more you can go to the contest site and compete as well!
SO PLEASE MAKE DU'A THAT I WIN! AMEEN!

ps. like Muhammad AlShareef says "GIVE YOUR EXCUSES A BLACK EYE!"

As Salaamu Aalaykum!

As a niqabi myself I am currently working on a Niqab product line and would love to hear feedback from sisters who either wear the niqab or are thinking about it.

I have asked 3 questions you can answer them on this blog or CLICK HERE!

What are your favorite niqab styles? if you have any website or image please share.
What are you looking for in a niqab?
What are your favorite niqab colors?

For those who believe that we are not allowed to beautify ourselves PLEASE provide hadiths. For those who believe that colors aren't allowed again provide proof. Don't make what is halal haram just based on your opinion. That being said thank you in advanced for your polite input. wa salaam
