GOLDEN MOMENTS IN WILDLIFE INDIA

Monkeys are found everywhere. Also in city and also in Wild sanctuaries. In wildlife monkeys are found in every sanctuaries. Wildlife photographer wants an extraordinary moments to capture. Well I regularly visit some sanctuaries in Gujarat for some taking good photos. Sometimes I got good images sometimes not. When I go I never capture any monkey photo because I think its very common and why should I capture common mammals. But after capture above photo I realized that any common mammals or birds can give you a best shot. The moments never forget in wild and animal in their environment are the challenging subject for shoot

The best shot in Wildlife :

It is difficult to say about best shot in wildlife because there are lots of categories and lots of moments that you will say its amazing. Now a days in photography competition the judges panel decide the winner on basis of The story behind the photo, The efforts given by the photographer to that image and after that the clarity, sharpness and composition. The best shot needs good composition and story. Also every judges had their own interest too.

My Best shot with monkeys :

My best shot with Indian Monkey is first one. The mother feed her child in morning golden light. When i was on my trek to jessore sanctuary i wake up early in the morning and see a group of monkeys came towards us. There are lots of small babies catch by their mothers. That is the Unforgettable moment for me. The mother care moments in wildlife i have not seen before. Monkeys cares their babies and jumps over trees. That moments i capture in my camera Indian monkey with baby, Babies are very cute but you should also be careful to get closer to them.

What happen if monkey bite :

After a dog bite monkey bite is second most common animal bite in India. Monkey bite can make serious wound infection, Herps B virus and Rabies. If monkey bite or rashes then wash your rash area with soap and water. For safety with monkey Do not run away and show fear. Show your hands to monkey that you do not hold anything in your hand. Avoid eye contact with monkey. Back away slowly and don't turn back on monkey. So beware of monkeys because Rabies is not curable disease. Once you get rabies there is no effective treatments and it cause death.

The mother with baby is good photo frame. Monkeys are looks very nice in photos and also with their babies. Monkey photo is also looks beautiful in black and white image. The black and white photo of monkey with baby and edge of sunlight looks awesome as i upload.

All photos taken at Jessore sloth bear sanctuary in Banaskantha district. It is located near Iqbalgharh and from Jessore Top you have a beautiful Aravalli mountain range view. Also Jessore is second highest top in Gujarat.

FROSTY MORNING SNOW AT SINGALILA NATIONAL PARK

SNOW FROST :: FROSTY MORNING SNOW

Snow frost or Frosty morning snow is really cool to see on your eye . When i was at my trek or trip to Sandakphu I found frosty morning snow or snow frost at Singalila National Park located in West Bengal, India. many years ago it was very cold season in November . Early sunrise and early sunset was their i see. Around 4-5 pm it was sunset and almost dark in sky. In November its winter season so very cold and sometimes temperature goes down by 3-4 degree. When you wake up and see red bush leaf are covered by snow frost. It was really amazing to see white snow frost on red leaf tree bush. At that time i don't have macro lens and also i used basic camera model of canon . But still its good to capture from any lens and camera.

What is snow frost ?? ::

When a water on grass or trees made ice crystal by cold open air is called snow frost.
The water drops freeze by vaporation process by down the temperature.
When the temperature down to freezing point a light frost made but when the temperature go below 25 degree or more for a long time the frost kills the roots and growth of plant. So that frost called Killing frost.

The difference between snow and frost ::

One thing you should note that you cannot call frost as a snow or snow as a frost.
Both are different however both are made form water vapor.
The difference is snow is form high in atmosphere around dust and some tiny parts and frost forms near to ground .

As i told i don't have macro lens that time so i cant get frost macro. But still i tried enough to get more details of frost. Morning time is good in winter season at sandakphu. Early morning snow falling and snow frost on leafs and also after sunrise morning mist rising in atmosphere. It was beautiful scenario at sandakphu where i can see Mt. Kanchenjunga from peak with morning mist. Well it is really good sign that I had seen Snow frost in India. There are also many places in India where you can find these type of frosty morning snow in Himalayas.

A snow frost on red leaf is really look awesome. Camera used canon 1000d with 18-55 and 55-250 mm lens.

Some unique traveler must try if they really want to try something new in Kerala is Coracle boating , Kerala cuisine experience, water spots activities, Panchakarma , Houseboat cruise and culture experience. These all experiences are unique and worthy.
Houseboat cruise is one of my best experience to stay one night in backwaters in houseboat with fully furnished A/C boat along with good meal.
Panchakarma is rejuvenation Ayurveda therapy of Kerala for improving patient mental and physical strength.

Backwater boat cruise experience :

Alleppey Backwater Houseboat and night stay. Houseboat of Kerala is very well made and decorated like house. It is unique experience to stay backwater boat cruise at night. They bring you in good water nice ride of cruise boat and at the end find some good unique spots to stay. Provide good food on board with clear and clean bed with A/C ( starts from 9 pm only ).

Vivekananda Rock Memorial Kanyakumari :

Vivekananda rock memorial is one of the popular tourist monument in vavathurai, Kanyakumari, India.
It was built in 1970 In honor of Swami Vivekananda who is said to attained enlightenment on the rock.
The rock also Goddess kumari perform tapas in devotion of Lord SHIVA. Beautiful place to visit while you go Kanyakumari.
On rock a large temple built and here you find only peace. A heart touching experience while entering it and really a beautiful place.
All three side of Vivekananda rock there is a sea with tri color and this make it more beautiful monument among all others. You have to go on rock by boat and come back by boat.

Thekkady Attractions :

Thekkady is also a beautiful place while you visit Kerala you can join Thekkady and Munnar in your package. Most important attractions of Thekkady is Thekkady Kalari center (Martial art center ) and Kathakali (Classical Dance Drama ). Thekkady kalari center is held by legends over 3000 old art from to sage Parsurama the master of all martial arts. Here you can see some extraordinary martial art performance with duo fight some fire burns and stick fight etc. For Kathakali i wrote an article before so follow this for Kathakali dance drama. Periyar Lake is also one of favorite lake to visit. Thekkady is also very well known for spices and herbs. All different types of spices grown here and they are really fresh as you can smell them .

Some wildlife experience during boat cruise in Kerala and i got good birds like Kingfisher , eagles etc.

Places to visit in Munnar :

A popular hill station of south India. Beautiful weather and greenery you can find here. Most of Tea estate business here. Also biggest tea plant you can visit and see how the tea leaf made and packaged in a factory. Amazing landscapes with hill and green layer of trees make it memorable. Also the way to munnar is a heaven. If you go after monsoon then that is the best time and most greenery you can see. Also lots of waterfalls you can found after monsoon. So plan your Kerala, Thekkady , Munnar trip after monsoon in winters.

At the end plan your trip to Kerala with Alleppey backwater cruise, Vivekananda Rock, Kanyakumari, Thekkady and Munnar so you can cover up all major attractions of Kerala. Also some elephant safari is done in Thekkady so you can enjoy elephant ride with kids and have fun. Some people go for honeymoon package in Kerala but i would not suggest for honeymoon in Kerala. There are also some good places for honeymoon in India with same price or little bit more. If you plan From Kanyakumari to Munnar then your travel airports are different vise versa. My suggestion to plan first Kanyakumari then Alleppey, Thekkady and last Munnar and return from Cochin airport. Long route between destinations almost 7-8 hours so make your trip comfort and select days as per requirements of your attractions.

Cat or Kitten is carnivorous mammal. Cute Cats are everywhere on earth and used as a pet animal. Generally i found cat near to my house but above cat i capture at Singalila National Park when i was on my trip to Sandakphu. Types of cats are House cat, farm cat, feral cat and jungle cat. Cat has strong and very flexible body. Its eye site at night is excellent. Its smell capacity is also well developed. Domestic cat was second most popular pet animals in United states. Cute cat are very friendly with humans.Here at my place in India cats around at our home.

Interesting facts about Cat or Kitten :

Kitten is juvenile cat. After 6-7 months kitten has full set of teeth and looks like adult cat. 6-8 week kitten is best age kitten for adopt.
Cat or kitten average life is 2 to 15 years approx. Most cats are die at the age of 5-6 years old. The main cause of death is kidney disease.
According to survey female cat lives more than male cat (average of 1-2 years more).
As we found this cat at Himalayan range so high altitude cat is also cute and lovable too.
Cats can hear high range frequency ranging from 55 Hz to 79000 Hz. In cats some cats breeds and some cats has hybrid version.

Playing With Himalayan Cat :

When i was at Sandakphu at my last day we saw a cutie cat surfing around us. Its very cute and sexy to see in her/his habitat. First we think its a Jungle Cat but i don't know whether its a Jungle cat or Domestic cat. Look at its eyes they are so beautiful. We play with cat for some time and after sometime I love to shoot that cat at that time and he/she also enjoying to give good shots to us. Very attractive and lovable so we think to take his/her home but we didn't. We think his/her home is in jungle and he/she will be happy to live in the jungle. Cat is beautiful pet for everybody. No harm to others and very cute for playing with it. We found this cat at high altitude mountain range of Himalaya.

FLYING LITTLE EGRET BIRD AT THOL

LITTLE EGRET BIRD

Little egret is a bird of heron family. Pure white color of body with black legs and black beak. They are generally found in shallow water wetland areas. In Gujarat they found every agriculture areas and also in sanctuaries like Thol bird sanctuary, Nal sarovar sanctuary,Velavadar National Park, Pariej wetland etc. I take all pictures at Thol lake. Little egret feed also in shallow grasslands or wetland areas. Egrets are very familiar and if you go close to them very slowly then they don't rush .

About Little Egret :

The Little Egret is about 22-25 inch long and its wingspan is about 35-40 inch.
Average weight of egret is about 500 g. Color of egret in plumage is also white.
They can make bubbling calls.

Thol lake is heaven for me and also lots of birders in Gujarat. More than 250 different spices found here. So those who wants good migratory birds and different spices at one place Thol lake is good for them. I take a shot while Little Egret is flying. To shoot birds in flight is great experience. You need good knowledge of camera setting while you shoot flying shot of bird.Full wingspan open of Little Egret.

While flying on shallow water reflections of egret into water and also in background of sun rays reflection create nice bokeh.

SHIKRA BIRD AT JESSORE SANCTUARY

Jessore sloth bear sanctuary located near Iqbalgharh near border of Gujarat and Rajasthan. Actually its a sloth bear sanctuary but its a dense forest so you can find lots of birds here. Also a Kedarnath Temple to visit at jessore sanctuary. A dense forest and also low people visits make birds residence here and birds and animal can stay peacefully. While we are going to Kedarnath Temple v found Shikra bird on a large dense tree. Large size and yellow eyes looks awesome. He/she is looking for hunt. There is a dense tree leaves and also shadow of leaf on shikra bird make darker image but still good image to identify and record shot.

About Shikra bird :

Shikra is also called small banded goshawk.
It is also called Birds of Prey and belongs to accipitridae family.
It is a good hunting raptor also.
In Gujarat shikra found in many places like Thol Bird sanctuary, Jessore Sanctuary, Pariej Wetland and many dense forests .
Shikra also found in many city ares too where it can live peacefully like big garden or big farm area.
It breeds in summer .

A new technology in cameras out now. Mirror-less cameras are produced now by Canon,Nikon,Fujifilm,Olympus and also Sony too. The main difference between mirror less camera and DSLR camera is the reflex mirror. In Dslr a reflex mirror inside camera body and it reflex the image of your frame and display into viewfinder. And in mirror-less camera directly electronically transfer image into display.

Are mirror-less camera is better than DSLR ?? :: well that is too difficult to tell.

Some advantages of mirror-less camera

Mirror less camera is very light weight so it is easy to carry and travel.
Another is there is no reflex mirror so camera is more compact and also it is faster than DSLR of-course .

Comparison between Mirrorless camera and DSLR camera :

Mirror-less camera has some selective lenses now which fits in mirrorless cameras. In opposite DSLR camera has wider selection of lenses .
DSLR camera battery life is more than mirror-less camera.
View finder of DSLR camera is better than mirrorless camera.
A reflex mirror is main difference between mirrorless camera and DSLR camera.
Mirrorless camera is lighter than DSLR camera.
Mirrorless camera are more expensive then DSLR camera.

Which is best camera for wildlife photography in India ?? :: Well technically i use only DSLR cameras. For a wildlife photography in India you need to work in daytime mostly. Well for example you go to the Corbett National Park for Tiger Safari. So Safari timings are early morning and evening. So early morning safari starts aprox 6am mean low light. So All over India's National park safari timings are same. So i mean to say that you mostly work in low light during morning and evening. Mirror less cameras are not good enough than DSLR cameras in low light situations. Another example is if you are Bird watcher so you will have to shoot in early morning and evening for bird photography. Thats why i prefer to choose DSLR for wildlife photography in India, its my personal opinion. Also you can have wide range of lenses in DSLR cameras than mirrorless cameras. Although mirrorless camera shoots faster than DSLR cameras so that is big advantage for moving subjects.

Mirror less cameras are new in a market so there are no wide range of lenses use in this cameras. It will take time to update. Also they are more expensive than DSLR now a days. So if i want to invest in affordable camera for a wildlife photography then i will buy good full frame DSLR camera. It works better in low light and also faster shutter speed too. Well i am not expert but i review it as i use DSLR camera in wildlife photography at bird photography and also mammals ,insects macro,home photography macro ideas etc.

Leaf photography is a good subject that u can use and photography everywhere. Leaf is also beautiful subject to shoot. But without proper background photo dosen't look better. Well i here use leaf with nice bokeh background. Bokeh works as a booster for ur image when ur image does not have much subject.Bokeh photography is either you can do at your home with manual create bokeh and also use natural bokeh creation. Well in my subject leaf you have to use natural bokeh effect. Get proper distance with your background and foreground so u can get good bokeh effect. Get proper camera settings too. and after all post processiong you can do .Above image taken at corbett national park.

Above image also taken at corbett national park when i was on my tour to Dikhala and on canon wild click.In that image background i take tree with sunlight behind so its create nice bokeh with white sunlight.

And the last one taken at Masaimara when i was on trip to africa. All images are ordinary but because of bokeh effect its looks nice.

Ganesh chaturthi is a festival of india and its Hindu festival. In 2020 ganesh chaturthi is on dated 22 august saturday. As Lord Ganesh name Vinayak the ganesh chaturthi is also known as Vinayak Chaturthi.The story behind Ganesh chaturthi celebrating festival is Lord ganesh return to earth from Kailash Parvat with his maa parvati.In this festival people bring lord ganesh idol made by clay to their home.Also some people bring Lord ganesh publicly as knon as Pandal. People make and distribute sweets and modak ( lord ganesh favorite sweet ).The festival ends at 10th day of Ganesh chaturthi. On that day idol of lord ganesh immersed in a river or lake. Well as per hindu mythology lord ganesh come to your home and take all of whig of your family take with him , In only mumbai aprox 145000 statues are immerse into river. By immerse idol of clay it dissolve and reaches to Maa parvati at kailash parvat.

The festival is celebrated all over india.Every religion took part and celebrate together . On the 10th day people immesre Lord ganesh into river with band , Dj sound with public procession.Ganesh chaturthi is the festivel of joy.

RIVER TERN :: THOL BIRD SANCTUARY

Thol bird sanctuary is near sanand and very near to my house about 24 km. Wonderful Bird sanctuary nearby me. There are lots of bird spices found here. Also large number of migratory birds like Flamingos, Pelicans, Bar headed Goose and many more are winter visitors. Thol bird sanctuary one of the most popular sanctuary in gujarat bcz large number of Flamingo birds found here very closely. Flamingo also breeds here too. Also beautiful landscapes of thol you can capture here of sunrise golden light with birds.

About River Tern Bird :

River tern is from tern family.
It breeds from march to may.
River tern is medium size tern. It is 35-44 cm long approx.
It has dark grey upper parts and white underparts.
Its legs are red and bill is yellow.
It has black head and its like tern wear black cap.
Long pointed wings open up looks beautiful when it flies.

Note that there is no good hotels and resorts near thol sanctuary bcz it is in village and farming area. If you want to live near thol lake nearest city is Ahmedabad about 25km away.

FLAMINGO BIRD :: THOL LAKE

Flamingo bird most beautiful wading bird. It generally found and also breed in India many places in Gujarat. Thol Lake and Nalsarovar Bird sanctuaries are one of them. Flamingo birds migrated from Iran, Afghanistan to India. Nalsarovar sanctuary is good residence for them. A low level wetland where flamingo birds live all seasons and also breed too. The flamingo name comes from Spanish. There are four types of spices and distributed in Caribbean , Americans, Africa, Asia and Europe. In Gujarat we found Lasser flamingos and greater flamingos in Thol lake and Nalsarovar. It is very difficult to take flamingo bird images. It took approx. 2 hours to take all these photos.

A heart symbol made by both flamingo bird picture when they cross their head each other. Some moments you cant miss to capture.

About Thol Bird Sanctuary :

Thol Lake is very near to my home about 20-25 kms. So whenever i free i visit Thol lake for birding. During monsoon season lake was full from water. So the best time to visit thol and nalsarovar is November to march when migratory birds came. Flamingos ,Pelicans, Bar headed goose and many other birds visit nalsarovar and thol lake. After march to July is summer season so water level is too low in Thol lake so birds are finding their food out of water side. So you can get good chance to get very close to birds. I am so lucky that i catch these shots.

COLORFUL MORNING MIST

Morning mist photography in a winter season is cool.In winter season we often go outskirts for bird watching and some landscape photography.Generally we go to Jessore sanctuary which is near by location and also Thol lake ,Nalsarovar lake for birding. We go at evening at Jessore sanctuary stay night at jessore and very early morning we went to bird watching and get some good landscape pictures. These two images are taken on the way to Gir national park. early morning we are heading to gir national park and its winter so very cold morning and very beautiful mist . A colorful morning mist make atmosphere amazing. You feel like you are in a heaven.

How mist is made ? :: Mist made when warmer air comes into cooler surface near ground.The warm air made in a drops after entering cool air and that cause mist. The Color of Mist is combination of Red, Blue and Green color.

Trees are on both side of road and a road full of mist looks awesome. You can also see mist rising on lake water while sun rays drops on water and mist rising.

After banned 59 Chinese apps the question is most important for all pubg gamers " IS PUBG GAME GOING TO BANNED ? " who played and still playing PUBG mobile. The game has mobile version and players can also play from PC through Emulator. Millions of people play PUBG game since last 2-3 years. But before a month while India - China border dispute the Indian government take strategic action against China. In first step India banned 59 Chinese apps. Still continue to more 150+ apps are in government radar. By the letest news on PUBG mobile game is the game also in Indian government radar. Government looking for user data leak or to be missuses . Well millions of user playing this game all over the world. Highest number of users are in China , India, Korea etc. In India the game going more popular now a days. But there are some negative effects on players who play game. In the game you or your squad have to survive till end . So you have to kill all other players. This game has extreme violence for player to kill enemy at any cost. So players going aggressive nature in their mind. Also the game played by most of young players. So if our youth playing this game at least 2-3 hours per day they lost their studies and afterall their future. The big loss of student suffering from their study and aslo aggressive nature which is not good for his and his family members too. I am talking about relevant player who play game for 2-3 hours. There are also many players who played game for 7-8 years. They faces massive damage on their brain and also big loss of eyes.

If PUBG game is banned in India there is big loss for some YouTube streamers . They earn from their streams and if game going closed they lost their earning from youtube and also lost their fans. But for national security they don't have any objection for banned the game i think.

What is COMET NEOWISE ?

It is discovered on march 27 2020. It is found by WISE (wide field infrared explorer ) space telescope. It is named after WISE telescope (NASA) detected it. It is looks like a infrared wavelength. The comet flying aprox 13900 km per hour. When it discovered its distance to sun is 300 million km and distance to Earth is 250 million km. After July 16 it is close enough to earth that it visible by naked eyes. Astrologers found 2 tails of comet. One tail made by gas and dust and another tail made by ionised gas. By july 13 it confirms that its tail was Sodium tail. On 23rd july it was closest to Earth. Comet Neowise will visible again from Earth after 6952 years. I use mobile application name SKYSAFARI app. for follow Comet neowise. It shows actual location of comet. Also this application shows other astrology informations.

Is Comet Neowise Visible in India ?

Well the question is " is comet neowise visible in India ? " so the answer is YES. Year 2020 is good year for Astro events . On 21st Jun we see Annular solar Eclipse. And after a month now v can see another astro event Comet Neowise. Comet is like a shooting star which has tail of sodium gas. So it is very rare astro event in my life. Before this one more comet seen in 1997 i think but unfortunately at that time i am not interested in it so i cant see it. But now i am eagerly waiting to see it. By 16th july it will be visible for aprox 20 days. In India it will be seen every evening after sunset. So approx time around 7:45pm to 9:15 pm. Comet neowise sets at 9:30pm. It has been seen in the direction of NW side at the angle of 20 degree of sunset. Also you can follow " SAPTARSHI NAKSHATRA " just left down from it.

Well The big problem for some parts of India is that There is a monsoon season. I am trying from last 5 days to see Comet Neowise but unfortunately I cant see it bcz of clouds. Every time from past 5 days on daytime sky is clear and at sunset some clouds came topically on NW side where Comet going to pass. I m hoping for best bcz i have more 7 days approx to see it and to photograph it. It was rare moment of my life to see Comet and capture it. Also go for dark area where pollution is very low and lights are not their. Found good spot like mountain or above from sea level so u can see it easily.

LIGHT PAINTING PHOTOGRAPHY

In photography light is very important for all photographs. You must got perfect light combination for your photographs. Without proper light your photos are not like good. Well today i am using only light for photography at night. I always looking for creative photography ideas at home.

Light Painting Photography Tips and Trick ::

First you need dark room or dark area where u can shoot light painting. u need a light source ( a good quality light ) of any color. I use white LED chargeable light. Put your camera on tripod with shutter release cable . If u don't have shutter release cable then put camera shutter on 2 sec or 10 sec. That will helps to not shake your camera on tripod during u press shutter. Then put camera on manual focus and Manual setting with shutter speed 1/5 or 1-10 is good. Aperture value approx F/12 to F/18. And ISO should be 100 is good. While u press shutter of ur camera another guy make some random movements with light up to camera shutter closed.

What You need ::
For light painting u need a good Camera. Now a days mobile camera also good but I used DSLR for better result. A good quality light of any color. A good tripod . Shutter release cable.

What i Used :: Canon 6D , Canon 18-55mm lens, Remote shutter, LED light

You can use multiple exposure with this setting also. If u want to put subject in light painting its looks beautiful. I tried multiple exposure with my son image but not get proper result but sure i ll take next time. I used white led light so image is not so attractive. U can use different colors of light so it make your image colorful.

Shoot The Stars :: Astro Photography

Astro photography or star photography is one of the best subject where you explore your creativity and imaginations. I shoot before some Moon shots and also a Solar eclipse And lunar eclipse, lunar eclipse blood moon. Well shooting the stars is really a tough job While u r living in a city area. You cannot see the stars due to pollution and dust. Just few of stars u can see from city area bcz of lights and pollution. If u want to shoot good number of star u must go to the darkest area where lights are none and also choose height areal like mountain so pollution is less. Also there are some mobile applications to find darkest area near you.Mountain area are good because u can also have good subject for ur foreground in your image so mountains are best in it. I shoot above image from my home in city area during lockdown. I choose a pole of my rooftop for subject . I cant get much star as i need but it sufficient to see in image.

The above image also taken from my rooftop with canon 80d and 18-55mm lens. Here i zoom my camera to 50mm and take a shot so i get good clear stars but not get wide image .

This was what i need in my image. A millions of stars in my image. It was taken at LRK during my Nature saving program for children of school. In foreground our tents are looking good. Its a rann of kutch where no lights in rann area so i get this number of stars.

BACKLIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY

Backlight is generally when your subject is illuminated from behind. When your subject is in between light and your camera. This create some silhouette images also but some subjects you take from backlight looks awesome. Generally backlight more use for potrairt and silhouette images by using sunlight. Here i use my home lights and other images are by using sunlight while i am on my trek. First image i taken of mosquito during lockdown period at my home at arround 9 pm with my garden light . The second one taken during trek to Jessore Sloth Bear Sanctuary gujarat. and the last one taken during trek to Har ki Doon. You can also try at home backlight photography with external light source. I will post an article in future for home backlight photography with sample images.

Above image i dont know the perfact name but it is lizard of jungle of Jessore Sanctuary. When he/she climb on tree i got beautiful frame in my mind by using backlight of sun between 2 trees just a golden light with lizard.

A leaf can express all his anatomy. Well during trek to Har Ki Dun .I didn't get much time to shoot with wide aperture but still get good image.

The above image of leaf taken at singalila national park during trek to sandakphu. Backlight of sun define the details of leaf very well.

WATER ABSTRACT

Abstract is a beautiful subject to shoot where ever u are. You can find beautiful subjects to shoot as an abstract. Generally i work lot with bubble photography so i choose water abstract as my subject.U need good camera gear with good lens like 50mm or 100mm macro lens or some good f1.8 lenses.Wider aperture need tripod and remote shutter to shoot. But i generally shoot with handheld shots.

How to shoot running water abstract and what you need ::

For colorful water abstract u need to put water in glass bowl and put some oil drops into water then add some food color in it.
Well the first image is not with oil its only water. I just turn on my washbasin nobe and water ranout speedly then i shoot it with flash .
The second image with oil n color. Well i mixed up lots of color so i got only blue tone color in my image but it looks like a DNA of human body (just joking ).
The images i need tripod to get very clear and sharp image and get better result.

The above image shoot in slow shutter of running water. it seems like motion of water looks good for abstract.

Macro photography is very interesting . For getting ideas at home photography you take anything from your home.Every small objects u can magnifying with it. When i do some experiments with my son during quarantine period with using Ice cube and salt. In ice cube i see beautiful transparent bubbles like and some good reflection of ice frozen. Then what any photographer want ? A subject to shoot and i got my subject for the first time in my life. I shoot Ice cube with the help of my son. I got some good images of ice cube and beautiful abstract also. I use canon 6D and 100 mm macro lens for it. I also use backlight for some good details of inside ice cube bubbles .

WATER DROPS BOKEH EFFECT

BOKEH EFFECT :: MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY

One of my favorite subject is bokeh. Well favorite to tell as i love to shoot all types of subject in photography and i aslo create new home photography ideas.

WHAT IS BOKEH???

Bokeh means blur or haze.
Bokeh means soft out of focus background.

While you shooting with wide lens with minimum aperture 1.8 or 2.8 is good creates blur background of out of focus . For bokeh prime lens are good with wider aperture. Generally i use 50mm 2.8 and 100mm macro lens which i own. Also lots of other lenses in market with 1.8 aperture are very good but expensive so not everyone afford it. But 50 mm prime is cheapest lens for these type of photography and it also good for portrait photography too .

How i create Bokeh(Bokeh create techniques ) : To create bokeh in your image i use water drops on a blank CD or DVD with sunlight or use backlight whatever u want but i use sunlight And dont use flash. Generally i don't use flash in my photo and also use sunlight(natural source of light ) most . Also i don't use tripod too for good handy photo shoot and to practice handheld photography.

Best lenses for Bokeh photography :: Any 1.8 and 2.8 lenses like 50 mm 1.8,100mm 2.8,

DVD creates colorful bokeh with different colors in reflection of sunlight.

REFLECTION PHOTOGRAPHY

REFLECTION

Reflection is an interesting subject to shoot. U need patience to shoot and need to think much and also good gear for clear and better image. Generally reflection shoots with help of water or mirror like lakes , beaches,mirrors etc. I also use water drops to get reflection image. During quarantine period lots of time to think new type of photography ideas at home. I generally shoots water drops macro lots in my garden area. This time i use reflection of my flower plant (without flower) in water drop(below image ) as a reflection. For better result u must use tripod and shutter release cable but i tried it handheld shoot . Above image is also taken at my home by spraying water and in reflection my home fens u can see. The last image i shoot eye of my son and reflection of my image in his eye. I dont use flash during all photos .

For Home photography ideas you have to looking around in your kitchen also. Every day i select new theme to capture new photos. Today i take food challenge. Many types of food i select and get good photos with light and without lights too. well i take tomatoes, jelly and chocolates for food photography. tomatoes i capture in sunlight without flash and external lights. Jelly and chocolate i use flash and external light. During food photography i use aperture more than 9 in all photos.After this i just wondering that i need to make a macro box for these type of food photography.

There are lots of different subjects u can shoot at home. During quarantine period i get lots of ideas to shoot at home and also search about different theme photography. I like some different subjects to shoot at home. As i dont shoot these type of themes photos before quarantine but now its a challenge to me to learn and shoot these theme photography. When i see subject Shadow photography i just wondering what i can shoot... after long time i got and idea from my son when he was playing marbles. Yes there are lots of things at our home u can use for different theme photography. The above image taken on my home floor. I put a marble on floor and give light from behind it. so it was a wonderful shadow effect of marble.

One more interesting subject during quarantine. Smoke photography. In india it is most common subject in every home. Every home may lit Diva and Agarbatti for God pray. During quarantine period my family do Doop smoke for getting strength from God for fighting from corona virus. And i got an idea to capture smoke in Image frame. I dont try it much so get only one image but when i get more sure upload it here. U need good dark room and good camera and lens and also a good torch or flash light. I use my Canon 80d Body with 100 mm macro lens . U can also try it with wide angle like 18-55 ,50mm lens but make sure it ll be 1.8 or 2.8 is better for dark photography
