रुख्मिनी और राधिका

कभी सूरदास ने एक स्वप्न देखा था, कि रुख्मिनी और राधिका मिली हैं और एक दूजे पर निछावर हुई जा रही हैं।

सोचता हूँ, कैसा होगा वह क्षण जब दोनों ठकुरानियाँ मिली होंगी। दोनों ने प्रेम किया था। एक ने बालक कन्हैया से, दूसरे ने राजनीतिज्ञ कृष्ण से। एक को अपनी मनमोहक बातों के जाल में फँसा लेने वाला कन्हैया मिला था, और दूसरे को मिले थे सुदर्शन चक्र धारी, महायोद्धा कृष्ण।

कृष्ण राधिका के बाल सखा थे, पर राधिका का दुर्भाग्य था कि उन्होंने कृष्ण को तात्कालिक विश्व की महाशक्ति बनते नहीं देखा। राधिका को न महाभारत के कुचक्र जाल को सुलझाते चतुर कृष्ण मिले, न पौंड्रक-शिशुपाल का वध करते बाहुबली कृष्ण मिले।

रुख्मिनी कृष्ण की पत्नी थीं, महारानी थीं, पर उन्होंने कृष्ण की वह लीला नहीं देखी जिसके लिए विश्व कृष्ण को स्मरण रखता है। उन्होंने न माखन चोर को देखा, न गौ-चरवाहे को। उनके हिस्से में न बाँसुरी आयी, न माखन।

कितनी अद्भुत लीला है, राधिका के लिए कृष्ण कन्हैया था, रुख्मिनी के लिए कन्हैया कृष्ण थे। पत्नी होने के बाद भी रुख्मिनी को कृष्ण उतने नहीं मिले कि वे उन्हें "तुम" कह पातीं। आप से तुम तक की इस यात्रा को पूरा कर लेना ही प्रेम का चरम पा लेना है। रुख्मिनी कभी यह यात्रा पूरी नहीं कर सकीं।

राधिका की यात्रा प्रारम्भ ही 'तुम' से हुई थीं। उन्होंने प्रारम्भ ही "चरम" से किया था। शायद तभी उन्हें कृष्ण नहीं मिले।
कितना अजीब है न! कृष्ण जिसे नहीं मिले, युगों युगों से आजतक उसी के हैं, और जिसे मिले उसे मिले ही नहीं।

तभी कहता हूँ, कृष्ण को पाने का प्रयास मत कीजिये। पाने का प्रयास कीजियेगा तो कभी नहीं मिलेंगे। बस प्रेम कर के छोड़ दीजिए, जीवन भर साथ निभाएंगे कृष्ण। कृष्ण इस सृष्टि के सबसे अच्छे मित्र हैं। राधिका हों या सुदामा, कृष्ण ने मित्रता निभाई तो ऐसी निभाई कि इतिहास बन गया

राधा और रुख्मिनी जब मिली होंगी तो रुख्मिनी राधा के वस्त्रों में माखन की गंध ढूंढती होंगी, और राधा ने रुख्मिनी के आभूषणों में कृष्ण का बैभव तलाशा होगा। कौन जाने मिला भी या नहीं। सबकुछ कहाँ मिलता है मनुष्य को... कुछ न कुछ तो छूटता ही रहता है।

जितनी चीज़ें कृष्ण से छूटीं उतनी तो किसी से नहीं छूटीं। कृष्ण से उनकी माँ छूटी, पिता छूटे, फिर जो नंद-यशोदा मिले वे भी छूटे। संगी-साथी छूटे। राधा छूटीं। गोकुल छूटा, फिर मथुरा छूटी। कृष्ण से जीवन भर कुछ न कुछ छूटता ही रहा। कृष्ण जीवन भर त्याग करते रहे। हमारी आज की पीढ़ी जो कुछ भी छूटने पर टूटने लगती है, उसे कृष्ण को गुरु बना लेना चाहिए। जो कृष्ण को समझ लेगा वह कभी अवसाद में नहीं जाएगा। कृष्ण आनंद के देवता है। कुछ छूटने पर भी कैसे खुश रहा जा सकता है, यह कृष्ण से अच्छा कोई सिखा ही नहीं सकता। महागुरु था मेरा कन्हैया...

इस सृष्टि के सबसे प्यारे मनुष्य का जन्मदिवस है न आज! खुश होइए, आज का दिन खुश होने के लिए ही है। श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी के दिन खुश रहना ही व्रत है। आप सबको श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी की ढेरों शुभकामनाएं। मस्त रहें सब, धर्म की जय हो।

We both left home at 18.

I got recommended.

You pursued your degree,
I had the toughest training.
Your day started at 7 and ended at 5,
Mine started at 4 till 9 and
Some nights also included.
You had your convocation ceremony,
I had my POP.
Best company took you and
Best package was awarded,
I was ordered to join my paltan
With 2 stars piped on my shoulders.
You got a job,
I got a way of life.
Every eve you got to see your family,
I just wished i got to see my parents soon.
You celebrated festivals with lights and music,
I celebrated with my comrade in bunkers.
We both married,
Your wife got to see you everyday,
My wife just wished i was alive.
You were sent to business trips,
I was sent on line of control.
We both returned,
Both wives couldn't control their tears, but

State of IPv6 Deployment 2018:
- The top 10 countries using the new protocol include #Belgium, #Greece, #Germany, the #USA, #Uruguay, #India, #Switzerland, #Japan, #Malaysia, and #Brazil.

- Belgium was the first country in the world where the majority of connections to IPv6-capable content providers used IPv6.

- In 2012, less than one in a hundred connections to Google services used IPv6. Today that number is nearly one in four.

- Nearly half a billion people use IPv6 among just the top 15 ISPs combined. Nearly half of all IPv6 users on the planet today are in India.

- Reliance Jio, a mobile network operator in India, activated over 200 million subscribers with IPv6 connectivity in just 9 months (September 2016 - June 2017).

- 80 percent of smartphones in the US on the major cellular network operators (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon) use IPv6 (up from under 40 percent less than 3 years ago).

*बाबर ने मुश्किल से कोई 4 वर्ष राज किया। हुमायूं को ठोक पीटकर भगा दिया। मुग़ल साम्राज्य की नींव अकबर ने डाली और जहाँगीर, शाहजहाँ से होते हुए औरंगजेब आते आते उखड़ गया।

*कुल 100 वर्ष (अकबर 1556ई. से औरंगजेब 1658ई. तक) के समय के स्थिर शासन को मुग़ल काल नाम से इतिहास में एक पूरे पार्ट की तरह पढ़ाया जाता है.

*जबकि उक्त समय में मेवाड़ इनके पास नहीं था। दक्षिण और पूर्व भी एक सपना ही था।

*अकेला विजयनगर साम्राज्य ही 300 वर्ष तक टिका रहा। हीरे माणिक्य की हम्पी नगर में मण्डियां लगती थीं।

*महाभारत युद्ध के बाद 1006 वर्ष तक जरासन्ध वंश के 22 राजाओं ने । 5 प्रद्योत वंश के राजाओं ने 138 वर्ष , 10 शैशुनागों ने 360 वर्षों तक , 9 नन्दों ने 100 वर्षों तक , 12 मौर्यों ने 316 वर्ष तक , 10 शुंगों ने 300 वर्ष तक , 4 कण्वों ने 85 वर्षों तक , 33 आंध्रों ने 506 वर्ष तक , 7 गुप्तों ने 245 वर्ष तक राज्य किया ।

*फिर विक्रमादित्य ने 100 वर्षों तक राज्य किया था । इतने महान् सम्राट होने पर भी भारत के इतिहास में गुमनाम कर दिए गए।

देवों के देव महादेव

शिव महापुराण के अनुसार सृष्टि निर्माण से पहले केवल शिवजी का ही अस्तित्व बताया गया है। भगवान शंकर ही वह शक्ति है जिसका न आदि है न अंत। इसका मतलब यही है कि शिवजी सृष्टि के निर्माण से पहले से हैं और प्रलय के बाद भी केवल महादेव का ही अस्तित्व रहेगा। अत: इनकी भक्ति मात्र से ही मनुष्य को सभी सुख, धन, मान-सम्मान आदि प्राप्त हो जाता है।

तब हनुमान जी ने हाथ जोड़ कर प्रार्थना कीःक स्नेहो मे परमो राजंस्त्वयि तिष्ठतु नित्यदा। भक्तिश्च नियता वीर भावो नान्यत्र गच्छतु।।

Put A Frog In A Vessel Of Water And Start Heating The Water. As The Temperature Of Water Rises, Frog Keeps On Adjusting With Increase In Temperature. Just When The Water Is About To Reach Boiling Point, The Frog Is Not Able To Adjust Anymore. At That Point The Frog Decides To Jump Out But Is Unable To Do So, Because it Has Lost All Its Strength In Adjusting With The Rising Water Temperature. Very Soon The Frog Dies.

What Killed The Frog? Many Of Us Would Say The Boiling Water.

No, It's Frog's Own Inability "To Decide When It Had To Jump Out." We All Need To Adjust With People And Situations, But We Need To Be Sure When We Need To Take The Right Decision.

Beautiful words. Must read and try to understand the deep meaning of it. They are like the ten commandments to follow in life all the time.

1. Prayer is not a “spare wheel” that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a “steering wheel” that directs the right path throughout.

2. A Car’s WINDSHIELD is so large & the Rear view Mirror is so small? Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, Look Ahead and Move on.

3. Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.

4. All things in life are temporary. If going well, enjoy it, they will not last forever. If going wrong, don’t worry, they can’t last long either.

मन की बात नमो के साथ-मेरे प्यारे देशवासियो, आप सबको नमस्कार। 2015 - एक प्रकार से मेरी इस वर्ष की आख़िरी ‘मन की बात’। अगले ‘मन की बात’ 2016 में होगी। अभी-अभी हम लोगों ने क्रिसमस का पर्व मनाया और अब नये वर्ष के स्वागत की तैयारियाँ चल रही हैं। भारत विविधताओं से भरा हुआ है। त्योहारों की भी भरमार लगी रहती है। एक त्योहार गया नहीं कि दूसरा आया नहीं। एक प्रकार से हर त्योहार दूसरे त्योहार की प्रतीक्षा को छोड़कर चला जाता है। कभी-कभी तो लगता है कि भारत एक ऐसा देश है, जहाँ पर ‘त्योहार Driven Economy’ भी है। समाज के ग़रीब तबक़े के लोगों की आर्थिक गतिविधि का वो कारण बन जाता है। मेरी तरफ़ से सभी देशवासियों को क्रिसमस की भी बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनायें और 2016 के नववर्ष की भी बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनायें। 2016 का वर्ष आप सभी के लिए ढेरों खुशियाँ ले करके आये। नया उमंग, नया उत्साह, नया संकल्प आपको नयी ऊंचाइयों पर पहुंचाए। दुनिया भी संकटों से मुक्त हो, चाहे आतंकवाद हो, चाहे ग्लोबल वार्मिंग हो, चाहे प्राकृतिक आपदायें हों, चाहे मानव सृजित संकट हो। मानव जाति सुखचैन की ज़िंदगी पाये, इससे बढ़कर के खुशी क्या हो सकती है|

आप तो जानते ही हैं कि मैं Technology का भरपूर प्रयोग करता रहता हूँ उससे मुझे बहुत सारी जानकारियाँ भी मिलती हैं। ‘MyGov.’ मेरे इस portal पर मैं काफी नज़र रखता हूँ।

पुणे से श्रीमान गणेश वी. सावलेशवारकर, उन्होंने मुझे लिखा है कि ये season, Tourist की season होती है। बहुत बड़ी मात्रा में देश-विदेश के टूरिस्ट आते हैं। लोग भी क्रिसमस की छुट्टियाँ मनाने जाते हैं। Tourism के क्षेत्र में बाकी सब सुविधाओं की तरफ़ तो ध्यान दिया जाता है, लेकिन उन्होंने कहा है कि जहाँ-जहाँ Tourist Destination है, Tourist place है, यात्रा धाम है, प्रवास धाम है, वहाँ पर स्वच्छता के संबंध में विशेष आग्रह रखना चाहिये। हमारे पर्यटन स्थल जितने साफ़-सुथरे होंगे, दुनिया में भारत की छवि अच्छी बनेगी। मैं गणेश जी के विचारों का स्वागत करता हूँ और मैं गणेश जी की बात को देशवासियों को पहुंचा रहा हूँ और वैसे भी हम ‘अतिथि देवो भव’ कहते हैं, तो हमारे यहाँ तो जब अतिथि आने वाला होता है तो घर में हम कितनी साज-सज्जा और सफाई करते हैं। तो हमारे पर्यटन स्थल पर, Tourist Destination पर, हमारे यात्रा धामों पर, ये सचमुच में एक विशेष बल देने वाला काम तो है ही है। और मुझे ये भी खुशी है कि देश में स्वच्छता के संबंध में लगातार ख़बरें आती रहती हैं। मैं Day one से इस विषय में मीडिया के मित्रों का तो धन्यवाद करता ही रहता हूँ, क्योंकि ऐसी छोटी-छोटी, अच्छी-अच्छी चीजें खोज-खोज करके वो लोगों के सामने रखते हैं। अभी मैंने एक अखबार में एक चीज़ पढ़ी थी। मैं चाहूँगा कि देशवासियों को मैं बताऊँ।

मध्य प्रदेश के सीहोर जिले के भोजपुरा गाँव में एक बुज़ुर्ग कारीगर दिलीप सिंह मालविया। अब वो सामान्य कारीगर हैं जो meson का काम करते हैं, मज़दूरी करते हैं। उन्होंने एक ऐसा अनूठा काम किया कि अखबार ने उनकी एक कथा छापी। और मेरे ध्यान में आई तो मुझे भी लगा कि मैं इस बात को आप तक पहुचाऊँ। छोटे से गाँव के दिलीप सिंह मालविया, उन्होंने तय किया कि गाँव में अगर कोई material provide करता है तो शौचालय बनाने की जो मज़दूरी लगेगी, वो नहीं लेंगे और वो मुफ़्त में meson के नाते काम करते हुए शौचालय बना देंगे। भोजपुरा गाँव में उन्होंने अपने परिश्रम से, मज़दूरी लिये बिना, ये काम एक पवित्र काम है इसे मान करके अब तक उन्होंने 100 शौचालयों का निर्माण कर दिया है। मैं दिलीप सिंह मालविया को ह्रदय से बहुत-बहुत बधाई देता हूँ, अभिनन्दन देता हूँ। देश के संबंध में निराशा की बातें कभी-कभी सुनते हैं। लेकिन ऐसे कोटि-कोटि दिलीप सिंह हैं इस देश में जो अपने तरीक़े से कुछ-न-कुछ अच्छा कर रहे हैं। यही तो देश की ताकत है। यही तो देश की आशा है और यही तो बातें हैं जो देश को आगे बढ़ाती हैं और तब ‘मन की बात’ में दिलीप सिंह का गर्व करना, उनका गौरव करना बहुत स्वाभाविक लगता है।

अनेक लोगों के अथक प्रयास का परिणाम है कि देश बहुत तेज़ गति से आगे बढ़ रहा है। क़दम से क़दम मिला करके सवा सौ करोड़ देशवासी एक-एक क़दम ख़ुद भी आगे बढ़ रहे हैं, देश को भी आगे बढ़ा रहे हैं। बेहतर शिक्षा, उत्तम कौशल एवं रोज़गार के नित्य नए अवसर। चाहे नागरिकों को बीमा सुरक्षा कवर से लेकर बैंकिंग सुविधायें पहुँचाने की बात हो। वैश्विक फ़लक पर ‘Ease of Doing Business’ में सुधार, व्यापार और नये व्यवसाय करने के लिए सुविधाजनक व्यवस्थाएँ उपलब्ध कराना। सामान्य परिवार के लोग जो कभी बैंक के दरवाज़े तक नहीं पहुँच पाते थे, ‘मुद्रा योजना’ के तहत आसान ऋण उपलब्ध करवाना।

हर भारतीय को जब ये पता चलता है कि पूरा विश्व योग के प्रति आकर्षित हुआ है और दुनिया ने जब ‘अन्तरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस’ मनाया और पूरा विश्व जुड़ गया तब हमें विश्वास पैदा हो गया कि वाह, ये तो है न हिन्दुस्तान। ये भाव जब पैदा होता है न, ये तब होता है जब हम विराट रूप के दर्शन करते हैं। यशोदा माता और कृष्ण की वो घटना कौन भूलेगा, जब श्री बालकृष्ण ने अपना मुँह खोला और पूरे ब्रह्माण्ड का माता यशोदा को दर्शन करा दिये, तब उनको ताक़त का अहसास हुआ। योग की घटना ने भारत को वो अहसास दिलाया है।

स्वच्छता की बात एक प्रकार से घर-घर में गूंज रही है। नागरिकों का सहभाग भी बढ़ता चला जा रहा है। आज़ादी के इतने सालों के बाद जिस गाँव में बिजली का खम्भा पहुँचता होगा, शायद हम शहर में रहने वाले लोगों को, या जो बिजली का उपभोग करते हैं उनको कभी अंदाज़ नहीं होगा कि अँधेरा छंटता है तो उत्साह और उमंग की सीमा क्या होती है। भारत सरकार का और राज्य सरकारों का ऊर्जा विभाग काम तो पहले भी करता था लेकिन जब से गांवों में बिजली पहुँचाने का 1000 दिन का जो संकल्प किया है और हर दिन जब ख़बर आती है कि आज उस गाँव में बिजली पहुँची, आज उस गाँव में बिजली पहुँची, तो साथ-साथ उस गाँव के उमंग और उत्साह की ख़बरें भी आती हैं। अभी तक व्यापक रूप से मीडिया में इसकी चर्चा नहीं पहुँची है लेकिन मुझे विश्वास है कि मीडिया ऐसे गांवों में ज़रूर पहुंचेगा और वहाँ का उत्साह-उमंग कैसा है उससे देश को परिचित करवाएगा और उसके कारण सबसे बड़ा तो लाभ ये होगा कि सरकार के जो मुलाज़िम इस काम को कर रहे हैं, उनको एक इतना satisfaction मिलेगा, इतना आनंद मिलेगा कि उन्होंने कुछ ऐसा किया है जो किसी गाँव की, किसी की ज़िंदगी में बदलाव लाने वाला है। किसान हो, ग़रीब हो, युवा हो, महिला हो, क्या इन सबको ये सारी बातें पहुंचनी चाहिये कि नहीं पहुंचनी चाहिये? पहुंचनी इसलिये नहीं चाहिये कि किस सरकार ने क्या काम किया और किस सरकार ने काम क्या नहीं किया! पहुंचनी इसलिये चाहिए कि वो अगर इस बात का हक़दार है तो हक़ जाने न दे। उसके हक़ को पाने के लिए भी तो उसको जानकारी मिलनी चाहिये न! हम सबको कोशिश करनी चाहिये कि सही बातें, अच्छी बातें, सामान्य मानव के काम की बातें जितने ज़्यादा लोगों को पहुँचती हैं, पहुंचानी चाहिए। यह भी एक सेवा का ही काम है। मैंने अपने तरीक़े से भी इस काम को करने का एक छोटा सा प्रयास किया है। मैं अकेला तो सब कुछ नहीं कर सकता हूँ। लेकिन जो मैं कह रहा हूँ तो कुछ मुझे भी करना चाहिये न। एक सामान्य नागरिक भी अपने मोबाइल फ़ोन पर ‘Narendra Modi App’ को download करके मुझसे जुड़ सकता है। और ऐसी छोटी-छोटी-छोटी बातें मैं उस पर शेयर करता रहता हूँ। और मेरे लिए खुशी की बात है कि लोग भी मुझे बहुत सारी बातें बताते हैं। आप भी अपने तरीक़े से ज़रूर इस प्रयास में जुड़िये, सवा सौ करोड़ देशवासियों तक पहुंचना है। आपकी मदद के बिना मैं कैसे पहुंचूंगा। आइये, हम सब मिलकर के सामान्य मानव की हितों की बातें, सामान्य मानव की भाषा में पहुंचाएं और उनको प्रेरित करें, उनके हक़ की चीजों को पाने के लिए।

मेरे प्यारे नौजवान साथियो, 15 अगस्त को लाल किले से मैंने ‘Start-up India, Stand-up India’ उसके संबंध में एक प्राथमिक चर्चा की थी। उसके बाद सरकार के सभी विभागों में ये बात चल पड़ी। क्या भारत ‘Start-up Capital’ बन सकता है? क्या हमारे राज्यों के बीच नौजवानों के लिए एक उत्तम अवसर के रूप में नये–नये Start-ups, अनेक with Start-ups, नये-नये Innovations! चाहे manufacturing में हो, चाहे Service Sector में हो, चाहे Agriculture में हो। हर चीज़ में नयापन, नया तरीका, नयी सोच, दुनिया Innovation के बिना आगे बढ़ती नहीं है। ‘Start-up India, Stand-up India’ युवा पीढ़ी के लिए एक बहुत बड़ा अवसर लेकर आयी है। मेरे नौजवान साथियो, 16 जनवरी को भारत सरकार ‘Start-up India, Stand-up India’ उसका पूरा action-plan launch करने वाली है। कैसे होगा? क्या होगा? क्यों होगा? एक ख़ाका आपके सामने प्रस्तुत किया जाएगा। और इस कार्यक्रम में देशभर की IITs, IIMs, Central Universities, NITs, जहाँ-जहाँ युवा पीढ़ी है, उन सबको live-connectivity के द्वारा इस कार्यक्रम में जोड़ा जाएगा।

Start-up के संबंध में हमारे यहाँ एक सोच बंधी-बंधाई बन गयी है। जैसे digital world हो या IT profession हो ये start-up उन्हीं के लिए है! जी नहीं, हमें तो उसको भारत की आवश्यकताओं के अनुसार बदलाव लाना है। ग़रीब व्यक्ति कहीं मजदूरी करता है, उसको शारीरिक श्रम पड़ता है, लेकिन कोई नौजवान Innovation के द्वारा एक ऐसी चीज़ बना दे कि ग़रीब को मज़दूरी में थोड़ी सुविधा हो जाये। मैं इसको भी Start-up मानता हूँ। मैं बैंक को कहूँगा कि ऐसे नौजवान को मदद करो, मैं उसको भी कहूँगा कि हिम्मत से आगे बढ़ो। Market मिल जायेगा। उसी प्रकार से क्या हमारे युवा पीढ़ी की बुद्धि-संपदा कुछ ही शहरों में सीमित है क्या? ये सोच गलत है। हिन्दुस्तान के हर कोने में नौजवानों के पास प्रतिभा है, उन्हें अवसर चाहिये। ये ‘Start-up India, Stand-up India’ कुछ शहरों में सीमित नहीं रहना चाहिये, हिन्दुस्तान के हर कोने में फैलना चाहिये। और इसे मैं राज्य सरकारों से भी आग्रह कर रहा हूँ कि इस बात को हम आगे बढाएं। 16 जनवरी को मैं ज़रूर आप सबसे रूबरू हो करके विस्तार से इस विषय में बातचीत करूंगा और हमेशा आपके सुझावों का स्वागत रहेगा।

प्यारे नौजवान साथियो, 12 जनवरी स्वामी विवेकानंद जी की जन्म-जयंती है। मेरे जैसे इस देश के कोटि-कोटि लोग हैं जिनको स्वामी विवेकानंद जी से प्रेरणा मिलती रही है। 1995 से 12 जनवरी स्वामी विवेकानंद जयंती को एक National Youth Festival के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष ये 12 जनवरी से 16 जनवरी तक छत्तीसगढ़ के रायपुर में होने वाला है। और मुझे जानकारी मिली कि इस बार की उनकी जो theme है, क्योंकि उनका ये event them based होता है, theme बहुत बढ़िया है ‘Indian Youth on development skill and harmony’. मुझे बताया गया कि सभी राज्यों से, हिंदुस्तान के कोने-कोने से, 10 हज़ार से ज़्यादा युवा इकट्ठे होने वाले हैं। एक लघु भारत का दृश्य वहाँ पैदा होने वाला है। युवा भारत का दृश्य पैदा होने वाला है। एक प्रकार से सपनों की बाढ़ नज़र आने वाली है। संकल्प का एहसास होने वाला है। इस Youth Festival के संबंध में क्या आप मुझे अपने सुझाव दे सकते हैं? मैं ख़ास कर के युवा दोस्तों से आग्रह करता हूँ कि मेरी जो ‘Narendra Modi App’ है उस पर आप directly मुझे अपने विचार भेजिए। मैं आपके मन को जानना-समझना चाहता हूँ और जो ये National Youth Festival में reflect हो, मैं सरकार में उसके लिए उचित सुझाव भी दूँगा, सूचनाएँ भी दूँगा। तो मैं इंतज़ार करूँगा दोस्तो, ‘Narendra Modi App’ पर Youth Festival के संबंध में आपके विचार जानने के लिए।

अहमदाबाद, गुजरात के दिलीप चौहान, जो एक visually challenged teacher हैं, उन्होंने अपने स्कूल में ‘Accessible India Day’ उसको मनाया। उन्होंने मुझे फ़ोन कर के अपनी भावनाएं व्यक्त की हैं: -

“Sir, we celebrated Accessible India Campaign in my school. I am a visually challenged teacher and I addressed 2000 children on the issue of disability and how we can spread awareness and help differently abled people. And the students’ response was fantastic, we enjoyed in the school and the students were inspired and motivated to help the disabled people in the society. I think it was a great initiative by you.”

दिलीप जी, आपका बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद। और आप तो स्वयं इस क्षेत्र में काम कर रहे हैं। आप भली-भाँति इन बातों को समझते हैं और आपने तो बहुत सारी कठिनाइयाँ भी झेली होंगी। कभी-कभी समाज में इस प्रकार के किसी व्यक्ति से मिलने का अवसर आता है, तो हमारे मन में ढेर सारे विचार आते हैं। हमारी सोच के अनुसार हम उसे देखने का अपना नज़रिया भी व्यक्त करते हैं। कई लोग होते हैं जो हादसे के शिकार होने के कारण अपना कोई अंग गवाँ देते हैं। कुछ लोग होते हैं कि जन्मजात ही कोई क्षति रह जाती है। और ऐसे लोगों के लिए दुनिया में अनेक-अनेक शब्द प्रयोग हुए हैं, लेकिन हमेशा इन शब्दों के प्रति भी चिंतन चलता रहा है। हर समय लोगों को लगा कि नहीं-नहीं-नहीं, ये उनके लिए ये शब्द की पहचान अच्छी नहीं लगती है, सम्मानजनक नहीं लगती है। और आपने देखा होगा कि कितने शब्द आ चुके हैं। कभी Handicapped शब्द सुनते थे, तो कभी Disable शब्द सुनते थे, तो कभी Specially Abled Persons - अनेक शब्द आते रहते हैं। ये बात सही है कि शब्दों का भी अपना एक महत्व होता हैI इस वर्ष जब भारत सरकार ने सुगम्य भारत अभियान का प्रारंभ किया, उस कार्यक्रम में मैं जाने वाला था, लेकिन तमिलनाडु के कुछ ज़िलों में और ख़ास कर के चेन्नई में भयंकर बाढ़ के कारण मेरा वहाँ जाने का कार्यक्रम बना, उस दिन मैं उस कार्यक्रम में रह नहीं पाया था। लेकिन उस कार्यक्रम में जाना था तो मेरे मन में कुछ-न-कुछ विचार चलते रहते थे। तो उस समय मेरे मन में विचार आया था कि परमात्मा ने जिसको शरीर में कोई कमी दी है, कोई क्षति दी है, एकाध अंग ठीक से काम नहीं कर रहा है - हम उसे विकलांग कहते हैं और विकलांग के रूप में जानते हैं। लेकिन कभी-कभी उनके परिचय में आते हैं तो पता चलता है कि हमें आँखों से उसकी एक कमी दिखती है, लेकिन ईश्वर ने उसको कोई extra power दिया होता है। एक अलग शक्ति का उसके अन्दर परमात्मा ने निरूपण किया होता है। जो अपनी आँखों से हम नहीं देख पाते हैं, लेकिन जब उसे देखते हैं काम करते हुए, उसे अपने काबिलियत की ओर तो ध्यान जाता है। अरे वाह! ये कैसे करता है? तो फिर मेरे मन में विचार आया कि आँख से तो हमें लगता है कि शायद वो विकलांग है, लेकिन अनुभव से लगता है कि उसके पास कोई extra power, अतिरिक्त शक्ति है। और तब जाकर के मेरे मन में विचार आया, क्यों न हम हमारे देश में विकलांग की जगह पर “दिव्यांग” शब्द का उपयोग करें। ये वो लोग हैं जिनके पास वो ऐसा एक अंग है या एक से अधिक ऐसे अंग हैं, जिसमें दिव्यता है, दिव्य शक्ति का संचार है, जो हम सामान्य शरीर वालों के पास नहीं है। मुझे ये शब्द बहुत अच्छा लग रहा है। क्या मेरे देशवासी हम आदतन विकलांग की जगह पर “दिव्यांग” शब्द को प्रचलित कर सकते हैं क्या? मैं आशा करता हूँ कि इस बात को आप आगे बढ़ाएंगे।

उस दिन हमने ‘सुगम्य भारत’ अभियान की शुरुआत की है। इसके तहत हम physical और virtual - दोनों तरह के Infrastructure में सुधार कर उन्हें “दिव्यांग” लोगों के लिए सुगम्य बनायेंगे। स्कूल हो, अस्पताल हो, सरकारी दफ़्तर हो, बस अड्डे हों, रेलवे स्टेशन में ramps हो, accessible parking, accessible lifts, ब्रेल लिपि; कितनी बातें हैं। इन सब में उसे सुगम्य बनाने के लिए Innovation चाहिए, technology चाहिए, व्यवस्था चाहिए, संवेदनशीलता चाहिएI इस काम का बीड़ा उठाया हैI जन-भागीदारी भी मिल रहीं है। लोगों को अच्छा लगा है। आप भी अपने तरीके से ज़रूर इसमें जुड़ सकते हैं।

मेरे प्यारे देशवासियो, सरकार की योजनायें तो निरंतर आती रहती हैं, चलती रहती हैं, लेकिन ये बहुत आवश्यक होता है कि योजनायें हमेशा प्राणवान रहनी चाहियें। योजनायें आखरी व्यक्ति तक जीवंत होनी चाहियें। वो फाइलों में मृतप्राय नहीं होनी चाहियें। आखिर योजना बनती है सामान्य व्यक्ति के लिए, ग़रीब व्यक्ति के लिए। पिछले दिनों भारत सरकार ने एक प्रयास किया कि योजना के जो हक़दार हैं उनके पास सरलता से लाभ कैसे पहुँचे। हमारे देश में गैस सिलेंडर में सब्सिडी दी जाती है। करोड़ों रुपये उसमें जाते हैं लेकिन ये हिसाब-किताब नहीं था कि जो लाभार्थी है उसी के पास पहुँच रहे हैं कि नहीं पहुँच रहे हैं। सही समय पर पहुँच रहे हैं कि नहीं पहुँच रहे हैं। सरकार ने इसमें थोड़ा बदलाव किया। जन-धन एकाउंट हो, आधार कार्ड हो, इन सब की मदद से विश्व की सबसे बड़ी, largest ‘Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme’ के द्वारा सीधा लाभार्थियों के बैंक खाते में सब्सिडी पहुँचना। देशवासियों को ये बताते हुए मुझे गर्व हो रहा है कि अभी-अभी ‘गिनीज़ बुक ऑफ़ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड’ में इसे स्थान मिल गया कि दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी ‘Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme’ है, जो सफलतापूर्वक लागू कर दी गई है। ‘पहल’ नाम से ये योजना प्रचलित है और प्रयोग बहुत सफल रहा है। नवम्बर अंत तक करीब-करीब 15 करोड़ LPG उपभोक्ता ‘पहल’ योजना के लाभार्थी बन चुके हैं, 15 करोड़ लोगों के खाते में बैंक एकाउंट में सरकारी पैसे सीधे जाने लगे हैं। न कोई बिचौलिया, न कोई सिफ़ारिश की ज़रूरत, न कोई भ्रष्टाचार की सम्भावना। एक तरफ़ आधार कार्ड का अभियान, दूसरी तरफ़ जन-धन एकाउंट खोलना, तीसरी तरफ़ राज्य सरकार और भारत सरकार मिल कर के लाभार्थियों की सूची तैयार करना। उनको आधार से और एकाउंट से जोड़ना। ये सिलसिला चल रहा है। इन दिनों तो मनरेगा जो कि गाँव में रोजगार का अवसर देता है, वो मनरेगा के पैसे, बहुत शिकायत आती थी। कई स्थानों पर अब वो सीधा पैसा उस मजदूरी करने वाले व्यक्ति के खाते में जमा होने लगे हैं। Students को Scholarship में भी कई कठिनाइयाँ होती थीं, शिकायतें भी आती थीं, उनमें भी अब प्रारंभ कर दिया है, धीरे-धीरे आगे बढ़ाएंगे। अब तक करीब-करीब 40 हज़ार करोड़ रूपये सीधे ही लाभार्थी के खाते में जाने लगे हैं अलग-अलग योजनाओं के माध्यम से। एक मोटा-मोटा मेरा अंदाज़ है, करीब-करीब 35 से 40 योजनायें अब सीधी-सीधी ‘Direct Benefit Transfer’ के अंदर समाहित की जा रही हैं।

मेरे प्यारे देशवासियो, 26 जनवरी - भारतीय गणतंत्र दिवस का एक सुनहरा पल। ये भी सुखद संयोग है कि इस बार डॉ. बाबा साहब अम्बेडकर, हमारे संविधान के निर्माता, उनकी 125वी जयंती है। संसद में भी दो दिन संविधान पर विशेष चर्चा रखी गई थी और बहुत अच्छा अनुभव रहा। सभी दलों ने, सभी सांसदों ने संविधान की पवित्रता, संविधान का महत्व, संविधान को सही स्वरुप में समझना - बहुत ही उत्तम चर्चा की। इस बात को हमें आगे बढ़ाना चाहिए। गणतंत्र दिवस सही अर्थ में जन-जन को तंत्र के साथ जोड़ सकता है क्या और तंत्र को जन-जन के साथ जोड़ सकता है क्या? हमारा संविधान हमें बहुत अधिकार देता है और अधिकारों की चर्चा सहज रूप से होती है और होनी भी चाहिए। उसका भी उतना ही महत्व है। लेकिन संविधान कर्तव्य पर भी बल देता है। लेकिन देखा ये गया है कि कर्तव्य की चर्चा बहुत कम होती है। ज्यादा से ज्यादा जब चुनाव होते हैं तो चारों तरफ़ advertisement होते हैं, दीवारों पर लिखा जाता है, hoardings लगाये जाते हैं कि मतदान करना हमारा पवित्र कर्तव्य है। मतदान के समय तो कर्तव्य की बात बहुत होती है लेकिन क्यों न सहज जीवन में भी कर्तव्य की बातें हों। जब इस वर्ष हम बाबा साहेब अम्बेडकर की 125वी जयंती मना रहे हैं तो क्या हम 26 जनवरी को निमित्त बना करके स्कूलों में, colleges में, अपने गांवों में, अपने शहर में, भिन्न-भिन्न societies में, संगठनों में - ‘कर्तव्य’ इसी विषय पर निबंध स्पर्द्धा, काव्य स्पर्द्धा, वक्तृत्व स्पर्द्धा ये कर सकते हैं क्या? अगर सवा सौ करोड़ देशवासी कर्तव्य भाव से एक के बाद एक कदम उठाते चले जाएँ तो कितना बड़ा इतिहास बन सकता है। लेकिन चर्चा से शुरू तो करें। मेरे मन में एक विचार आता है, अगर आप मुझे 26 जनवरी के पहले ड्यूटी, कर्तव्य - अपनी भाषा में, अपनी भाषा के उपरांत अगर आपको हिंदी में लिखना है तो हिंदी में, अंग्रेज़ी में लिखना है तो अंग्रेज़ी में कर्तव्य पर काव्य रचनाएँ हो, कर्तव्य पर एसे राइटिंग हो, निबंध लिखें आप। मुझे भेज सकते हैं क्या? मैं आपके विचारों को जानना चाहता हूँ। ‘My Gov.’ मेरे इस पोर्टल पर भेजिए। मैं ज़रूर चाहूँगा कि मेरे देश की युवा पीढ़ी कर्तव्य के संबंध में क्या सोचती है।

एक छोटा सा सुझाव देने का मन करता है। 26 जनवरी जब हम गणतंत्र दिवस मनाते हैं, क्या हम नागरिकों के द्वारा, स्कूल-कॉलेज के बालकों के द्वारा हमारे शहर में जितनी भी महापुरुषों की प्रतिमायें हैं, statue लगे हैं, उसकी सफाई, उस परिसर की सफाई, उत्तम से उत्तम स्वच्छता, उत्तम से उत्तम सुशोभन 26 जनवरी निमित्त कर सकते हैं क्या? और ये मैं सरकारी राह पर नहीं कह रहा हूँ। नागरिकों के द्वारा, जिन महापुरुषों का statue लगाने के लिए हम इतने emotional होते हैं, लेकिन बाद में उसको संभालने में हम उतने ही उदासीन होते हैं| समाज के नाते, देश के नाते, क्या ये हम अपना सहज़ स्वभाव बना सकते हैं क्या, इस 26 जनवरी को हम सब मिल के प्रयास करें कि ऐसे महापुरुषों की प्रतिमाओं का सम्मान, वहाँ सफाई, परिसर की सफाई और ये सब जनता-जनार्दन द्वारा, नागरिकों द्वारा सहज रूप से हो।

प्यारे देशवासियो, फिर एक बार नव वर्ष की, 2016 की ढेर सारी शुभकामनायें। बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद।

There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, “Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?”

The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying:

“Just take care of my eyes dear.”

This is how human brain changes when the status changed. Only few remember what life was before, and who’s always been there even in the most painful situations.

Today before you think of saying an unkind word–
think of someone who can’t speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food–
think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife–
think of someone who is crying out to God for a companion.

Today before you complain about life–
think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you complain about your children–
think of someone who desires children but they’re barren.

शाम को मम्मी का फ़ोन आया कि आज फादर्स डे है और तुमने पापा को विश भी नही किया|भूल गये या बहुत बिजी हो गये?कुछ देर तो समझ ही नहीं आया कि क्या बोला जाये|ऐसा नही कि मुझे पता नही था,सुबह से दो चार पोस्ट भी चिपका चुका था,इधर उधर से चुरा के|पर ये नही समझ पाया कि पापा को कैसे ‘हैप्पी फादर्स डे’ बोला जाये|

संभ्रांत लोगों की तरह चाहिए था,कि पापा को सुबह उठ के विश किया जाए,अगर घर से दूर है, तो कूरियर से फूलों का एक गुलदस्ता भेजा जाये,और अब तो बाज़ार भी हमारे साथ है,किसी भी ऑनलाइन शॉपिंग साईट से कोई बढ़िया सा ‘फादर्स डे स्पेशल’ गिफ्ट भेजा जाये|उनको दस-पंद्रह इमोशनल लाइन्स बोली जाएँ,और उनके साथ की अपनी कोई फोटो तुरंत फेसबुक और ट्विटर पे पोस्ट की जाए|

पर हमदेसी लोगों के साथ सबसे बड़ी दिक्कत ये भी है,कि कभी प्यार जताना ही नही आता|हम उन गंवारों और uncivilized टाइप लोगों में से हैं जिन्होंने आजतक कभी लव यू माँ,लव यू डैडी ,सॉरी,थैंक यू, नही बोला, |पता नहीं,क्योंकि शायद कभी जरुरत ही नही पड़ी|हमारी जरुरत और शौक की जो भी चीजें थी,कॉमिक्स,साइकिल,टॉफी,कम्पट,lollypop हमें थोड़ा सा कुनमुनाने और मुँह बनाने से ही मिल जाती थी और शरारत करने पर उनकी 100 km/hr की स्पीड से फेंकी हुई चप्पल ही उनका प्यार दिखाने का तरीका था|

आज भी फ़ोन पे बातचीत पे कभी hi डैड,हेल्लो डैडी नहीं होता,बस हमारा ‘नमस्ते पापा’ और उनका ‘जीते रहो’ होता है|फिर कुछ देर में खाना खाया,क्या खाया के बाद अच्छे से रहो,बढ़िया से आगे बढ़ो,खूब ख़ुशी रहो पे खत्म हो जाता है|कभी कोई बात ही नहीं होती,2 मिनट से ज्यादा|पिता माँ नही हो सकते,जता नही सकते,पर घर आने की डेट बताने पे दो महीने पहले से ही दिन गिनना शुरू कर देते हैं|और जानते हुए भी अनेकों बार पूछते रहते हैं,”आज 21 हो गयी है,बस १६ दिन और हैं,कित्ते बजे ट्रेन है,हाँ हाँ पहुँच जायेंगे स्टेशन,”बस इतना कह के ही फ़ोन मम्मी को पकड़ा के बाहर निकल जाते हैं|

इस बाजारवाद के आने से पहले ये मदर डे,फादर डे नही हुआ करता था,तब जिंदगी कितनी सिंपल थी|शायद वो हमारे साथ चलने के लिए ये नए-नए ‘डेज’ सेलिब्रेट करना चाहते हैं और हम उस छोटे बच्चे से हो जाना चाहते हैं जहाँ ‘लव’ शब्द बोलते हुए शर्म और झिझक होती है, और सोचते हैं कि काश घर पर होते तो बताने से ज्यादा जताना शायद ज्यादा आसान होता|

The cockroach theory for self development

At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and sat on a lady.

She started screaming out of fear.

With a panic stricken face and trembling voice,she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach.
Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky.

The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but ...it landed on another lady in the group.

Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama.

The waiter rushed forward to their rescue.

In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter.
The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt.

When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.

Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, was the cockroach responsible for their histrionic behavior?

If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed?

He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.
It is not the cockroach, but the inability of the ladies to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach that disturbed the ladies.
I realized that, it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but it's my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me.
It's not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.

More than the problem, it's my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.

Lessons learnt from the story:

I understood, I should not react in life.
I should always respond.
The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded.
Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of.

A beautiful way to understand............LIFE.
Person who is HAPPY is not because Everything is RIGHT in his Life..

He is HAPPY because his Attitude towards Everything in his life is right !

Letter: Bill Gates sent Microsoft employees for its 40th anniversary

Bill Gates and Paul Allen started Microsoft on April 4, 1975 - exactly 40 years ago today. In honor of the milestone, Gates sent a letter to all Microsoft employees, detailing his plans for the company's future.

Here is the letter:

"Tomorrow is a special day: Microsoft's 40th anniversary.

Early on, Paul Allen and I set the goal of a computer on every desk and in every home. It was a bold idea and a lot of people thought we were out of our minds to imagine it was possible. It is amazing to think about how far computing has come since then, and we can all be proud of the role Microsoft played in that revolution.

Today though, I am thinking much more about Microsoft's future than its past. I believe computing will evolve faster in the next 10 years than it ever has before. We already live in a multi-platform world, and computing will become even more pervasive. We are nearing the point where computers and robots will be able to see, move, and interact naturally, unlocking many new applications and empowering people even more.

Under Satya's leadership, Microsoft is better positioned than ever to lead these advances. We have the resources to drive and solve tough problems. Qn: What are the thumb rules for a layman to take care of his heart?
Ans:
1. Diet - Less of carbohydrate, more of protein, less oil
2. Exercise - Half an hour's walk, at least five days a week;
avoid lifts and
avoid sitting for a longtime
3. Quit smoking
4. Control weight
5. Control BP - Blood pressure and Sugar

Qn: Is eating non-veg food (fish) good for the heart?
Ans: No

Qn: It's still a grave shock to hear that some apparently healthy person
gets a cardiac arrest. How do we understand it in perspective?
Ans: This is called silent attack; that is why we recommend everyone past the age of 30 to undergo routine health checkups.

Qn: Are heart diseases hereditary?
Ans: Yes

Qn: What are the ways in which the heart is stressed? What practices do you suggest to de-stress?
Ans: Change your attitude towards life. Do not look for perfection in everything in life.

Qn: Is walking better than jogging or is more intensive exercise required to keep a healthy heart?
Ans: Walking is better than jogging, since jogging leads to early fatigue and injury to joints

Qn: You have done so much for the poor and needy. What has inspired you to do so?
Ans: Mother Theresa, who was my patient.

Qn: Can people with low blood pressure suffer heart diseases?
Ans: Extremely rare.

Qn: Does cholesterol accumulates right from an early age (I'm currently only 22) or do you have to worry about it only after you are above 30 years of age?
Ans: Cholesterol accumulates from childhood.

Qn: How do irregular eating habits affect the heart ?
Ans: You tend to eat junk food when the habits are irregular and your body's enzyme release for digestion gets confused.

Qn: How can I control cholesterol content without using medicines?
Ans: Control diet, walk and eat walnut.

Qn: Which is the best and worst food for the heart?
Ans: Fruits and vegetables are the best and oilis the worst.

Qn: Which oil is better - groundnut, sunflower, olive?
Ans: All oils are bad.

Qn: What is the routine checkup one should go through? Is there any specific test?
Ans: Routine blood test to ensure sugar, cholesterol is ok. Check BP, Treadmill test after an echo.

Qn: What are the first aid steps to be taken on a heart attack?
Ans: Help the person into a sleeping position, place an aspirin tablet under the tongue with a sorbitrate tablet if available, and rush him to a coronary care unit, since the maximum casualty takes place within the first hour.

Qn: How do you differentiate between pain caused by a heart attack and that caused due to gastric trouble?
Ans: Extremely difficult without ECG.

Qn: What is the main cause of a steep increase in heart problems amongst youngsters? I see people of about 30-40 yrs of age having heart attacks and serious heart problems.
Ans: Increased awareness has increased incidents. Also, sedentary lifestyles, smoking, junk food, lack of exercise in a country where people are genetically three times more vulnerable for heart attacks than Europeans and Americans.

Qn: Is it possible for a person to have BP outside the normal range of 120/80 and yet be perfectly healthy?
Ans: Yes.

Qn: Marriages within close relatives can lead to heart problems for the child. Is it true?
Ans : Yes, co-sanguinity leads to congenital abnormalities and you may NOT have a software engineer as a child

Qn: Many of us have an irregular daily routine and many a times we have to stay late nights in office. Does this affect our heart? What precautions would you recommend?
Ans : When you are young, nature protects you against all these irregularities. However, as yougrow older, respect the biological clock.

Qn: Will taking anti-hypertensive drugs cause some other complications (short/long term)?
Ans : Yes, most drugs have some side effects. However, modern anti-hypertensive drugs are extremely safe.

Qn: Will consuming more coffee/tea lead to heart attacks?
Ans : No.

Qn: Are asthma patients more prone to heart disease?
Ans : No.

Qn: How would you define junk food?
Ans : Fried food like Kentucky , McDonalds , Samosas, and even Masala Dosas.

Qn: You mentioned that Indians are three times more vulnerable. What is the reason for this, as Europeans and Americans also eat a lot of junk food?
Ans: Every race is vulnerable to some disease and unfortunately, Indians are vulnerable for the most expensive disease.

Qn: Does consuming bananas help reduce hypertension?
Ans: No.

Qn: Can a person help himself during a heart attack (Because we see a lot of forwarded e-mails on this)?
Ans: Yes. Lie down comfortably and put anaspirin tablet of any description under the tongue and ask someone to take you to the nearest coronary care unit without any delay and do not wait for the ambulance since most of the time, the ambulance does not turn up.

Qn: Do, in any way, low white blood cells and low hemoglobin count lead to heart problems?
Ans: No. But it is ideal to have normal hemoglobin level to increase your exercise capacity.

Qn: Sometimes, due to the hectic schedule we are not able to exercise. So, does walking while doing daily chores at home or climbing the stairs in the house, work as a substitute for exercise?
Ans : Certainly. Avoid sitting continuously for more than half an hour and even the act of getting out of the chair and going to another chair and sitting helps a lot.

Qn: Is there a relation between heart problems and blood sugar?
Ans: Yes. A strong relationship since diabetics are more vulnerable to heart attacks than non-diabetics.

Qn: What are the things one needs to take care of after a heart operation?
Ans : Diet, exercise, drugs on time , Control cholesterol, BP, weight.

Qn: Are people working on night shifts more vulnerable to heart disease when compared to day shift workers?
Ans : No.

Qn: What are the modern anti-hypertensive drugs?
Ans: There are hundreds of drugs and your doctor will chose the right combination for your problem, but my suggestion is to avoid the drugsand go for natural ways of controlling blood pressure by walk, diet to reduce weight and changing attitudes towards lifestyles.

Qn: Does dispirin or similar headache pills increase the risk of heart attacks?
Ans : No.

Qn: Why is the rate of heart attacks more in men than in women?
Ans: Nature protects women till the age of 45. (Present Global census show that the Percentage of heart disease in women has increased than in men )

Qn: How can one keep the heart in a good condition?
Ans: Eat a healthy diet, avoid junk food, exercise everyday, do not smoke and, go for health checkups if you are past the age of 30 ( once in six months recommended) ....

“Why We Shout In Anger” A Hindu saint who was visiting river Ganges to take bath found a group of family members on the banks, shouting in anger at each other. He turned to his disciples smiled ‘n asked. ‘Why do people shout in anger shout at each other?’ Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, ‘Because we lose our calm, we shout.’ ‘But, why should you shout when the other person is just next to you? You can as well tell him what you have to say in a soft manner.’ asked the saint Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the other disciples.

Finally the saint explained, . ‘When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other to cover that great distance.

What happens when two people fall in love? They don’t shout at each other but talk softly, Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is either nonexistent or very small…’ The saint continued, ‘When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper ‘n they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other ‘n that’s all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.’

He looked at his disciples ‘n said. ‘So when you argue do not let your hearts get distant, Do not say words that distance each other more, Or else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return.’
