</script></div><p>As of today, I have lost 24.8 pounds.  You can read, oh, the last 10 posts, for more details on my goals, diet, and progress.</p>
<p>Today, I want to write a bit about how my weight loss has already changed my life.  (I can&#8217;t wait to see how much better I&#8217;ll feel when I lose another 20, 30, or 50 pounds!)</p>
<p>I sleep better.</p>
<p>I enjoy spending time outside, playing in the yard, with kids.</p>
<p>I find myself looking for opportunities to go outside, for a walk, or a bike ride, or just to work in the yards.</p>
<p>I am down a full pants-size, and am this-close to a being down a shirt-size.</p>
<p>I have more energy.</p>
<p>Life is better.</p>

<p>My goal is to lose a total of 80 pounds.  I have 56.8 pounds to go.</p>

<p>My goal is to lose a total of 80 pounds.  I have 58 pounds to go.</p>
<p>Last month was difficult, but I stuck to my eating plan.  My weight fluctuated, up a few ounces, down a few ounces, but it remained relatively unchanged.</p>
<p>Yesterday, I weighed in and was down a total of 22 pounds.  I waited one more day, to confirm, and then I posted.</p>
<p>I have been eating lean meats, fresh vegetables, nuts, and drinking water.</p>
<p>I am still walking 4 to 6 miles per day and I feel great.</p>

<p>It feels good to get past &#8220;the big 20&#8243;.  Long-time readers will note, I&#8217;ve been here before, a couple of years back, so the goal, now, is to KEEP GOING.</p>
<p>I walked 2 miles yesterday and did lots of work around the house.  The weather is getting very nice and it&#8217;s good to be able to spend more time outside.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m starting a new exercise regimen today.  I&#8217;ll let you know how it goes.</p>

<p>My goal &#8211; set on December 23, 2012 &#8211; is to lose a total of 80 pounds.</p>
<p>I have 61.9 pounds to go.</p>
<p>I hit a stall for a couple of weeks, but I kept eating the right foods and exercising &#8211; and this morning the scale moved.  (The scale actually hit 20 pounds lost a few days ago, but that was after being sick and that it was simply reflecting fluid loss.  I like to have a consistent weight loss, for a couple of days, before making it &#8220;official&#8221;.)</p>
<p>Today, I&#8217;m going to walk / run a total of 5 miles.  The weather is going to be super-awesome for the next several days, and it will be great to get outside and move.</p>

<p>Today, I walked a total of 2 miles.  I wanted to walk a few more, but the weather was awful.  So, instead, I mixed in some push-ups and sit-ups and I feel great.</p>
<p>As far as my eating &#8211; I am still eating lean meat, vegetables, fruits, and a few nuts.  Today, I only had about three sips of soda &#8211; just a little caffeine &#8211; and then I drank water.</p>

<p>My goal is to lose a total of 80 pounds.</p>
<p>I have 65.4 pounds to go.</p>
<p>When I started over with a renewed focus on December 23rd, I created a plan revolving around eating real food and walking.</p>
<p>So far, I&#8217;m averaging between 4 and 6 miles of walking, per day.  I am eating lean meat, vegetables, fruit and nuts.  Last week, I probably ate a little too much &#8211; but I stuck to my eating plan.  (Since December 24rd, the only off-plan food was four small bites of pizza, eaten at a gathering where choices were very limited, and one small bowl of ice cream.  Other than that, I&#8217;ve stuck to the plan.)</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I weighed in this morning and was pleased to see that I am down a total of 13.6 pounds.</p>
<p>I have 66.4 pounds to lose to meet my goal of 80 pounds.</p>
<p>I went for two 2-mile walks today &#8211; one before work and one before supper.  The morning walk was at a slightly faster pace.</p>
<p>Over at No Credit Needed I recently wrote about how my wife and I <a href="http://www.ncnblog.com/2013/01/29/save-money-when-eating-out/">save money when eating out</a> &#8211; and I was pleasantly surprised to find that one of our favorite local places to eat sells an awesome grilled chicken breast and side salad &#8211; for less than $5.  I had that for lunch today.</p>
<p>I notice that I am sleeping better &#8211; this is probably a combination of less weight and more exercise.  I do find it difficult to fall asleep &#8211; especially if I exercise in the evening &#8211; but once I am asleep, I sleep well.</p>

<p>My goal is to lose a total of 80 pounds.</p>
<p>I began my latest weight loss plan on December 23, 2012.</p>
<p>I have been eating lean meats, vegetables, a few nuts, and fruit.  I have been drinking water and a small amount of diet soda.</p>
<p>I plant to lose 67.4 more pounds.</p>
<p>It feels good to have folks notice my weight loss.  I have been here before, at that stage where the &#8220;newness&#8221; of the diet wears off, and it becomes &#8220;routine&#8221;.  That&#8217;s cool.</p>
<p>I have been walking 4 to 6 miles per day, usually in two sessions.  Today, I added back some high intensity interval training &#8211; and I feel like a million bucks.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have settled into a pretty easy-to-follow routine.</p>
<p>Daily, I am eating two or three meal, each consisting of some type of lean meat, a few nuts, some fresh vegetables or fruit.  I am focusing on real foods &#8211; and trying to stay on the lower-carbohydrate side of the menu.</p>
<p>I am also drinking plenty of water &#8211; with a diet soda from time to time.  I find that I don&#8217;t really like soda when I&#8217;m eating real foods.  I think there might be some sort of junk-food-to-soda connection.  Anyway, I&#8217;m staying hydrated &#8211; with just enough caffeine to wake up in the morning.</p>
<p>I am walking between 4 and 6 miles per day.  I&#8217;ve begun to add  a bit of jogging &#8211; but I think I am another 20 pounds or so away from really being comfortable when I run.</p>
<p>As for my weight, as of today, I am down 10.2 pounds.</p>
<p>My goal is to lose a total of 80 pounds.  I have 69.8 pounds to go.</p>
