It's inevitable that when I find a necklace I fall really hard for, that it will have an awesome clasp. Most often a brass flower clasp.

The top two are ones that I sold last year and I am starting to kick myself for that.

Above is a 1940s apple jelly celluloid chain and pale pink shell necklace in the shop now. It also has a cute brass flower clasp.

I'm told she hasn't seen daylight in about 60 years, so maybe you should take her out for a spin!

My mom just sent me this little book of handbags through the century by Judith Miller.

I poured through every word and then felt inspired for this post.

Here are some of my favorite pages and designers including Enid Collins- she has 2 whole pages dedicated to her style.

Also 3rd picture above are some Summer beaded bags coming soon and then below are the Enid Collins and John Romain handbags I listed last week. In the shop!

I've sold my share of 80s Lanz dresses, wrap ones and dirndl style, but until recently I did not realize that they made much earlier dresses with such amazing floral prints.

Above are three that are set for Spring updates (the green Bonwit Teller is already listed)

and I found two more yesterday in Dallas while antiquing!

Sometimes when you first become aware to look for something, it starts magically appearing and it makes you wonder how many you have already missed!

I love finding vintage department store goods, like the two above.

Both from great stores, both probably bought with saved money at the time and hence very well taken care of over the years.

Some finds have only had one owner. Those are the great ones.
